5 comments about V-Moda Vibe Duo Earbuds / Headset (iPhone Compatible) - Gunmetal Rouge.
- When they work I like them, they fit really well in the ear and sound good BUT!! I'm about to send back my third pair. I treat these things very well, always put them in their pouch when they are not being used and they still only last about three weeks! the same problem each time, the left ear bud will start to cut in and out when the cord moves near the base of the jack. They are just not made very well. The company is good about replacing them but it takes time. Don't buy these, the company needs to learn $90 headphones should last for years not weeks.
- These headphones are far better than the standard ones provided by Apple. While not being an audiophile by any means, the sound quality does sound crisper and richer than the standard headphones. Additionally, they are far better at isolating noise than the standard headphones, although it does take time to achieve proper isolation through the included fittings.
Unfortunately, I must agree with the general consensus as to to the quality of these headphones. Unfortunately after three months of regular usage, one of the earbuds stopped working completely necessitating a warranty replacement. Personally, I would rather have a higher quality product without having to deal with warranty replacement.
- These are really great headphones. Also, for those of you that live in extremely cold areas... The cord doesn't get completely stiff the second it goes outside.
- Also have gone through two pairs of these. The sound simply dies and then stops working in one ear and then the other after a few months. The great sound you get at the store won't last with regular and careful use.
- Great Sound, Comfort, and Style yet after a month the left ear bud will start to "cut in and out" when the cord moves near the base of the jack. This appears to be a common problem sited many places on-line. The Warranty folks keep sending replacements. I'm on my fifth replacement and hope they figure out a more permanent solution before my year of free repairs is up.

5 comments about Sennheiser MX 660 Black Earbuds with Volume Control and Cable Winder (Black).
They are good headphones by the price that is paid, the brand is not very acquaintance but quality in the sound is good, the bass are good without coming to be the best and the sharp are clear and do not distortion. The control of the volume in the cable is ideal to go in motorcycle and to control the volume when is entered or leaves the freeway. It is the first one product that I buy of this brand and I have remained but than satisfied.
- The Sennheiser earbuds were a replacement item and represented an updated version of the previously owned earbuds. They are all that they have been billed. Strong sound replication and attractive.
- I wanted to get Sennheiser earbuds, and MX660 (with MX760) have the best specs of the current classic line. However, I find the sound of MX660 to be tiring. I would call the sound precise because of very clear highs, but the mid-range sounds too prominent and the bass is very difficult to get without pressing earbuds hard. Altogether they do not make for nice listening experience. If you like a solid bass (but not boomy) such as that delivered by PX100 portable headphones, I recommend Sennheiser MX55 instead of MX660. In either case, the use of foams is necessary to get the most of the bass.
- I bought these earbuds to replace the ones I got with my iPod and so far, I love them! They fit my ears well and the volume control is extremely convenient for those times when I have my iPod locked. I picked these over the earbuds that you stick directly into your ear canal, since honestly, those kind of freak me out despite possibly having superior audio quality. Yes, the bass is slightly muddy, but I think some of the reviewers are a little too picky - these are earbuds (that are under $30!) afterall... not headphones.
- I tried sony EX-85LP. When it comes to talking about ear buds fit in ear, it becomes all personal matter. However, I disliked the sony's in ear headphone first for the fit and second for the sound. The bass was just boomy and not precise. And they hurt my ears after using 10min.
I liked the senheiser PX-100 until I needed one that won't annoy people around me at a louder volume.
This one wasn't supposed to be an upgrade to PX-100 at least for the price range it belongs to. However, this one turns out to be a winner of all.
I listen to pop, rock, jazz, and classic almost equally. This MX-660 shows the detail without adding any additional (and often annoying) color on the music. I don't agree with the other reviewers about the bass; it has the exact right amount of bass unless you're looking for a boomy sound that distorts the complexity of the music. If you need, just turn some eq bass on.
This compares equally to sony MDR-464 I enjoyed 15 years ago, a quality of which is hardly found in this market now a days, when everything is developed for a cheaper taste with glittering outfit.
Don't hesitate to try this one. At least, as the other reviewer fairly describes, this will be a good upgrade for your iPod ear buds.

5 comments about Archos DVR Station Gen 5 for 405, 605, and 705 Players.
- This DVR station is the best complement for the Archos 605 because it charges the device in about 3 hours. Its really smaller than I thought and really light. I have made a trip or two and I can just take the DVR station with me without running out of space in my backpack. Conecting the Archos 605 to the TV is really easy. The remote control is really great for managing everything on the TV. In total, GREAT PRODUCT!!!!
The service on Amazon.com was terrific. The packages were right on time, they were sealed and in perfect shape. The best thing is that I could monitor my purchase during the entire delivery time, which I did practically every 3 hours because of the excitement. It was just a breeze to buy it here, besides it was the best price I could find in the market (and trust me, I spend about 5 months looking this product everywhere online). I TOTALLY recomend buying it here!!!!!!
- I have had this device since February 2008. When I received it, there was a little rattle that I could hear, but it worked fine. After about a month of use, all of the sudden it would not work. It would charge the Archos fine, but no output to the TV. I contacted Archos and they had me send it in, on my dime.
Well, if you haven't dealt with Archos customer support before, be ready for lots of waiting and people that know very little about their product. The first lady I talked to didn't know the difference between a DVR and the Archos unit. I finally got a ticket to send it in, and even though their warehouse is a short distance from my house, they required I pay for shipping. They spent 2 weeks trying to fix it, then sent it back. There was no difference in the performance. The same problem still exsisted. So I had to contact them again and pay for shipping, AGAIN! I just got it back, it is now October, and the S-video output still doesn't work. Luckily, I have an adapter for S-video to RCA so I know it somewhat works. If I didn't, I would have to go buy an adapter or a different cable. They only include an S-video cable with the unit.
So, buyer beware with this product. I also have an external battery pack that outputs to the TV and can plug into the wall for charging, so I would recommend that product instead of this one. It is cheaper, less bulky, and has less parts.
- I often use this to record a show if I am busy elsewhere. It works very well for recording, but the menu is sometimes a hassle. Also, I believe that you have to have the cable box set on the correct channel to record.
I also want to note that for a time the server was down that you use to update your TV guide (which is normally as easy process). It's back up and working now though.
Overall I would recommend this if you do not have TiVo or a DVR and you like to record shows for later viewing. That it works as charger is a good bonus.
- My husband needed an extra docking station that he could use in his vehicle and Amazon.com had the best price compared to many.
Thanks!
- It is a bit pricey but for what it does it. It is worth every penny. I can't see a reason to buy an archos with out one.

3 comments about MICROSOFT ZUNE Premium Black Travel A/C Wall Charger with IC Chip for Microsoft Zune.
- If you're looking for an ac wall charger for your zen vision m, this is the one to get. I have had it for 3 months now and not one problem. It charges incredibly fast. Approximately an hour for a full charge. It's amazing. And another plus is that it connects directly to the zen. There is no need for the extension that is required to connect the zen to the usb cord or a/v cord. This charger is perfect!
- I tried to not pay the high prices for a Microsoft charger but this charger worked great the first time. The second time it almost broke my zune player. I got a battery symbol on the player and it won't turn on. I then went to hook the zune to the computer usb port charger and the symbol went away and it charged fine. I will not use this junk charger again in fear of breaking the zune. They say they accept returns but they dont reimburse shipping. It will cost more to ship it back then I would get back for the device.
- I have used this charger at work since early this year and it works perfectly. I have had zero complaints and highly recommend to anyone.

5 comments about V-Moda Bass Freq Earbuds (Rouge Red).
- These headphones perfectly recreate the sound of music playing through a dorm room wall. If you like that sound, you'll love these headphones. How do these headphones achieve "bass"? By cutting the treble and midrange to muffled insignificance. Also, you'll enjoy the crinkly saran wrap sound of the speaker diaphragm going back and forth as you insert them in your ear.
- These earbuds are probably one of the best I've ever used. They sound great, and isolate sound well. The only problem I had was them breaking. I keep my mp3 in my pocket all day and the ear end of the bud came off. This can be popped on easily, but eventually the wire broke off and were rendered useless.
So, these are great if you plan on treating them carefully.
- I got these headphones because all my other earbuds seemed to have a short life, and these got a good review on CNET reviews. They are so far very comfortable with good sound, but one of the earbuds has been coming apart after only using them a few days. It's easy to snap the pieces back together, but I wonder how long these will be functional for.
- They were ok - not great - for the two months that they worked, but then one of the buds stopped working. So, obviously, they're now useless to me.
- I had been using clip-on headphones for months because my iPod earphones were just too big. Frustrated with the lack of sound isolation and quality, I decided to look for a pair of earbuds. I spent weeks trying to find a pair that consistently received good reviews. However, that magic pair just wasn't to be found for under $100. I decided to go with a cheaper pair in the $30 price range. If they turned out to be subpar, at least I didn't waste a lot of money on them.
I choose the V-Moda Bass Freq headphones primarily because of their 2006 CNET Editor's Choice Award. CNET is known to be a reliable source. I bought them for $29.99 from TigerDirect.
Pros:
--Decent sound isolation for not actually using noise-cancellation technology
--Excellent bass
--Well-designed. Their casing is even smaller than the iPod earphones and the chord seems sturdy
Cons:
--I found the small-seized silicone covers to still be a bit big
--They do not register quieter sounds very well. For example, I was listening to "We Are the Champions" and the verses kept fading in and out.
--Difficult to find a good EQ setting. I am still working with my iPod to find a good mix given the natural bass focus of the earbuds
--There was background buzzing when I plugged them into my laptop. I am not entirely sure this is a problem with the buds themselves, but it was certainly annoying
I am going to use my V-Moda Bass Freq headphones daily. However, if I hadn't been able to use a $25 gift card toward their purchase, I would be frustrated that I spent $30 on a product with so many cons.

5 comments about Monster Cable QL GMT-H QuickLock Gold Banana Connectors (2 Pair).
- OK, so I don't buy into all the hype about connectors or cables having an audible effect on sound quality. A good connection is a good connection, period. So why am I raving about these plugs? Simple. Because they have a rock-solid, elegant and simple design. I have tried a lot of different banana plugs, and usually they feel flimsy and tend to work themselves loose, or make finicky and insecure connections.
I am constantly tinkering with things and modifying poorly-engineered products to work better, but I cannot really think of any way to improve these little tanks. Hold them in your hand: They are satisfyingly heavy and rugged. Terminate a speaker cable with them and see who easy it is; just strip the cable end and screw them on by hand; no tools needed beyond a wire cutter and stripper; not even a screwdriver.
Tighten the nut down and admire how solid and fool-proof the resulting connection is. Plug them into your speakers or amp and appreciate how easy it is to see the polarity, and how satisfyingly the springy tips seat home in the sockets.
They pull out just as smoothly, too: Not too tight or too loose. The cables drape naturally out of their ends, and the plugs aren't too deep for tight spaces. The gnurled rubber grips are easy to grab and move, too.
And the price isn't even that bad, compared to the absurd prices of most good connectors. So yeah, these do the job. And that's the best praise I can give.
- First, while these are a Monster product they don't have the Monster price. They're the same price you'll find for connectors from companies you've never heard of - but you aren't sacrificing Monster quality.
That said, these are terrific. Very easy to install. Simply strip about 1/2 inch of twisted wire, insert, screw the top in place. I used them for both 12 and 14 gauge speaker wire with no problem at all.
I paid 19.97 here which is the same price that BestBuy sells them for in their store so there's no great savings on price. But, free shipping and no sales tax for me so I saved a few dollars and I wasn't in a hurry.
- They give a nice finish to the cable termination. Only complaint i have with them is it's good if there's a way to they could hold the cable.
Rightnow, if the cables are moved they would come out of the connector.
- When I stareted looking for some mid-to-high end audio components (speakers, wire, etc.) I quickly became overwhelmed with the many variations available from Monster and other vendors. I asked myself, "What is the real difference between one item and another, very similar one?"
After much research and actually trying different products, I can report that the differences are subtle and mostly subjective within a similar price range.
Obviously there is a difference between high-end speakers and wires, and smaller, cheaper speakers using lamp wire or thin speaker wire. But even then, you may not notice much difference until you really listen for the high and low notes, the quality of a singer's voice or a solo instrument, or the resonance of the bass notes.
What you give yourself in terms of quality can really only be justified by your budget, beliefs, and preferences. Don't be misled by thinking that all the expensive stuff is just hype - it does make a difference! But the difference won't change your life, it will only make you feel good if you invest and believe you're getting quality for your money. Here's my point: bottom line, the technology takes SECOND PLACE within a similar price range or product line. The most important factor is how you feel when you listen to your music. If you feel cheated or swindled, or that you bought something you didn't need, then the music will always sound that way to you. But if you believe you bought the best quality you could afford, and that it's purpose is to serve your music tastes and enjoyment, then the sounds you hear will have that quality. There is no magic technology, no Star Trek in real life; there is just belief, dollars, common sense, and choosing to be satisfied with your choices and enjoy them for what they are. Sorry if this sounds like I'm preaching.
Believe, research, buy the best you can, and don't get hung up on the details. Listen to your music, enjoy it, and be proud that you can afford whatever you have. Your music, your life, your choices. This is good!
- Very easy to use but overpriced, however there is not much else out there with similar design. Radio Shack carries similar banana plugs, but they cost only a couple of dollars less.
Obviously, sound quality wise these are not any better than $1 banana plugs where you have to tighten the screws, the question to ask is whether the convenience is worth $$ to you.
Three stars only because they are overpriced, if they were $10, I would have given them 5 stars.

5 comments about Bose® Around-Ear Headphones - 41213.
- You get what you pay for, and these are worth every penny. Deep bass, and crisp highs!
- These are comfortable to wear and the sound is great, but they are not of high quality construction. Mine lasted approximately a year and a half before snapping near the ear cover. There are similar complaints all over the web. For a $130-140 price tag, I would expect them to last significantly longer. It is definitely disappointing as I remember the pain when I dished out the money. I would avoid these unless you are into disposable headsets.
- These sound great and are very comfortable. Unfortunately, they are kind of flimsy, especially around the ear pieces. Mine came apart and will not stay intact any more... every time I take them off, the left earcup falls out. still sound nice but a pain to "put together" every time I use them.
should come with a sticker: Some Re-Assembly required
- Ok, I have had this pair of headphones for 2+ years. I have to disagree with some people saying the build quality is horrible. I havent had any problem with the headphones in that department. The only thing I replaced on it were the ear cushions. But i think the reason people buy this headphones is because "it sounds so nice." I was in the same boat and got suckered into buying this at the Bose store [...] Boy was I stupid. I bought another pair of sony dj monitor headphones (MDR-V700DJ) for my turntables and i found that the sony sounds WAY better than the bose and it is half the price. The sony has better bass, way better mids (bose doesnt have any) and good highs. I would not buy this pair of headphones for any reason or recommend anybody else to buy it. I would strongly recommend you to buy a good pair of sony.
- While I read most people either have the cord break at the cups or the plastic piece holding the cups mine actually freyed off at the stereo plug.
The problem is the cord is simply too long, I used rubberbands to make the cord shorter but it'd still get caught on everything even though the cord was ran inside my shirt instead of outside. It took plenty of tugs and pulls before the end finally gave in.
Yes they are pricey but the sound is excellent. If they'd make one with a shorter cord I'd gladly buy another set..but until then I'm not spending so much on head phones.

4 comments about Sony BD-RE Rewritable Single Layer Disc - 25gb, 2X.
- I just bought a Sony 1080i camcorder to video my nephew's wedding and used a new Sony Vaio computer with Blu ray read write capability.
I was able to make discs but nobody has Blu Ray players to watch it.
I'm glad it worked and know when BLu/Ray DV become standard it will be fun to see this event which otherwise couldn't be made into Hi Def standard.
- I have been using these now (bought 3) for a few weeks for recording movies, watching them, then erasing and start over with new movies. Working fine, but it seems like the disks are more suseptable to finger marks than others, I could be wrong here, but it seems that way to me. I have not had any problem, however, and am just making an observation.
- I returned, bought with a vaio with Blu-Ray recorder, the computer was too limited for this kind of recording
- I use the BD-RE to make a test burn for HD Home Video prior to committing to a final copy on BD-R. This has saved me from wasting a BD-R and then finding out later that I needed to re-edit and make some changes.

3 comments about Philips DR8S8B50F/17 DVD+R DL - 50PK, 8X, Double Layer.
- I am burning with DVD Cloner 5 and these discs have worked out well so far. I was burning with Memorex 32025732 DVD+R 8x Double Layer 50 Pack Spindle because they were the cheapest however the last batch I bought failed about 60% of the time. I was going to switch to Verbatim 8.5 GB 8x DVD+R Double Layer Bundle (5 Discs) but they were substantially more expensive. Then I found these. The Phillips discs are working well so far and even though they aren't quite as cheap as the Memorex they are actually working and are cheaper than the Verbatim disc. If they start to fail I will update this review. So far so good!
- This blank media isn't for console game(xbox ,wii,ps3) i just burn some backup xbox 360 game and the burn succes and game played but during the game i had dirty disc messege unreadable disc
or if you want burn movie it is nice media with 100% succes ratio
- Great price and has given me no problems. Will buy this product again in the future. These dvds are so good that I didn't have to waste any.
