5 comments about DLO Action Jacket Case with Armband for 80/120/160 GB iPod classic 6G (Black).
- this comes with an interchangeable belt attachment and armband - both of which are fairly sturdy. the case is pretty ugly compared to some of those silicon covers, but you do get an armband with this one. the construction doesn't seem to be top-notch, as there is fraying of material around the opening for the touch-pad. it doesn't appear that this will eventually lead to the case falling apart, but it just doesn't look as sleek as an ipod, which is one of the reasons you bought an ipod, right?
another drawback is the screen: it's clear plastic, but it's really cheap clear plastic. the density of the plastic isn't completely uniform, so it's more opaque in areas -- while barely noticeable, it still irritated me at first, but i eventually got over it. decent product especially if you like to be active while listening to your jams.
- Works as expected. Provides good protection for the iPod while allowing access to clickwheel and video/audio port. Access to the dock connector is sometimes a little cumbersome - need to make sure connection is secure. I have not used the belt clip - it looks a little fragile to support an expensive iPod Classic. The armband works great.
- I was thrilled to have found this case that includes the armband and the belt clip as well as protection for the iPod. Having had it for a day the thrill is gone; uncomfortable, difficult to opperate while case is on, belt clip is huge and it separates the iPod about an inch from you. It makes you look funny. Nevertheless, I may have considered keeping it if it weren't because of the useless piece of rubber at the bottom which keeps me from using my iPod in my car dock with the case on. Very dissapointed. Go for something else.
- I don't know what other people were looking for in an Ipod case, but I am of the opinion that simpler is better.
This little case was just what I was looking for in a lightweight and durable armband Ipod holder. I am a big jogger and hiker and I was looking for something that I could strap on and forget about. This little case gets the job done.
It is extremely lightweight, and the adjustable arm strap can fit huge arms as well as smaller arms. When comparing it to the more "bulky" armbands I have used in the past I notice the armband doesn't get as HOT (or sweaty) as other arm bands.
In my opinion its a great small and inexpensive option to the more expensive brands out there. While I don't suppose it would stand up to any "torture tests" (i.e., don't expect it to protect your iPod from a 2 story fall) I would recommend it to anyone who needs a no fuss moderately priced protective sleeve, and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lightweight armband for running/working out.
- I've had one of these for three years. I love it. I can't use my dock with it though. It looks a bit worn and torn, and it might not be the prettiest solution for your iPod case. But It can withstand droppings and such with no problem.

5 comments about Case Logic CDW128 Nylon 128-Disc CD/DVD Wallet.
- This CD/DVD holder is great. It can hold 128 cds and they are all in one place.
- Thank you for my case I really enjoy it. It really works for me and I get to organize my cds and dvds. I enjoy it so much that I will be ordering another CD/DVD case for the rest of my dvds and cds. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! :-)
- I have put this case through some abuse, mostly throwing it around unzipped completely full among other things, and it has never scratched a DVD, had a sleeve rip, and the zipper still works wonderfully. I have since bought a second smaller one and have been happy with that one too.
- The bummer about the otherwise sleek new trend in very slim jewel cases for CDs is that you can't label the spine of jewel case. So, if you have dozens of CDs standing on a shelf in slim jewel cases, you have no idea which one is which. Though sticking CDs in this "wallet" (more like a "tome") still necessitates flipping through the pages to see what's what, it's still better than the alternative. Other reviewers have noted that this "wallet" does not allow users to take out and rearrange "pages," which is indeed a pity, and one Case could easily address. Still, as a product, it's practical, simple, and capacious.
- Great cd case. Has soft pockets on the inside of the front cover that I use for computer discs. Sturdy fabric on the outside, nice zipper. Everything that is advertised is here. Definitely worth the $30 bucks

5 comments about Cables Unlimited USB-2110 USB 2.0 to IDE and SATA Adapter Cable with Power.
- I have used this at least twice since getting it, maybe more. Although I haven't used it yet with an SATA hard drive, it does exactly what it says it will do with a regular (IDE) drive. I have had to get some information from an old computer and put it on a new one and that worked really well. I work in the computer/IT field at a small hospital so sometimes I have to migrate data from one computer to a new one and this allows me to do it without hassles. Here is a link to the amazon page for this product: USB 2.0 To IDE & Sata Adapter Cable With Power
- It came in a timely manner, undamaged. I would purchase again from this vendor
- I have one drive with all my info on it that I was hoping to transfer after my PC crashed. Unfortunately, it's the same Seagate that another reviewer never got to work. No luck.. just wouldn't power up.
It powered up my Maxtor, but there's no data on it so I can't say if it actually might have worked.
Extremely cheaply made. The pins in the power connector were so tweaked I had to straighten them before I could even plug it in. I was surprised I was able to plug it in without snapping any of the connectors off.
Very cheaply made, really cryptic instructions, and didn't work for me. I'm returning it and will gladly pay more for something better made that might actually work.
- I have two of these cable adapter units. One for my office and one for my truck. Don't leave home without it as you will inevitably run into a situation where you need it to fix one of your customer's computers.
Very handy and universal. I like this better than any other quick adapter I've used. Only once has it not worked with a hard drive. But that was a bizarre situation with a low RPM hard drive. I had to find a special PC to make data recovery with that hard drive work.
Excellent product.
- The product seemed to be well designed and power brick large enought to do the job but... There were no cables included to connect to any of the three old laptop hard drives that I wanted to connect. Data or power connections were not able to connect to this product. I was able to return to Amazon for a refund. Thank you Amazon for backing what you sell!!

4 comments about TRENDnet 4 Port USB2.0 PC Card Type II.
- Works great so far. Using about a month and mostly running a wireless mouse with no need for the extra power adapter.
- works great, my computer didnt have the 2.0 but the 1.0 so being able to transfer data at a respectable rate is really good!
- My wife's laptop only had two USB ports to start with and they both became damaged over time. After going without a mouse for a few months, we picked up this 4 port pc-card and it has been a godsend. Now we have all of the ports we will ever need and I didn't have to drop a bunch of money to get the original USBs fixed. Great product at a great price!
- I had a bit of difficulty getting this card to work for me, though I have come to the conclusion that the problem lay in either my computer or my OS. I have a Compaq Presario V2000 running Windows XP. I loaded the disc and inserted the card per the directions, but every time I tried to use it, my computer locked up. A hard lock. Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't even work, I'd have to turn it off. After days of searching the internet for a solution, I finally found a site that lead me to a fix. I seems that my computer had loaded the incorrect driver. I had to go in manually and select the right one. After that, it worked like a charm. It works well with my flash drives and my webcam. The only thing I can't get it to run is my USB powered WD Passport 320GB external drive, but I haven't tried using it with the card's included power cord plugged in.

5 comments about Samsung Touch Of Color T260 25.5-inch LCD Monitor.
- Its true what Samsung says...
"There aren't other monitors like these anywhere. Of Course."
I bought this display 5 days ago... it blew all of the other displays in its class. It's 26 inch Massive display looks Brilliant and bright. It has a full 1080p HD ENERGYSTAR MONITOR. It has HDMI, USB , DVI-D, RGB, standard 2 ch. audio plug in, and a Digital Optical audio hook up! It has all i need.
I hooked it up to my PC and Blu-Ray PS3, the movies/games/ windows vista applications... look Phenomenal. CRYSTAL CLEAR. I'm glad i made the right choice.
all displays should look this SEXY! It has a piano black body with a hint of red at the bottom of the bezel.
- Most LCD's have a brightness/darkness bias that doesn't show true colors. Others color shift based on the angle, even from the same viewing point. This has wonderful color and looks great from every angle. The huge size is great and lets me run all my applications at the full 1920x1080. Price is a great value for what you get.
- I got mine for $450 at Best Buy after they took 10% off the regular price on request.
What a nice monitor! No dead pixels, huge display, full 1080p resolution, bright and vibrant display. I use this both for work and for the occasional game. I love having this much screen real estate and a high quality monitor!
By the way this display does swivel and tilt, but it does not have a height adjustment (you can always put it on a monitor stand or whatever.
- The Samsung T260 monitor, part of their "Touch of Color" series which is increasingly showing up in both computer and television monitors, is a solid performer and a good value for the money. At 25.5 inches (diagonal), the monitor is one of the larger types on the market, perhaps the largest size to be available without requiring the use of dual cables and/or multiple video cards. At about $500, the price is unbeatable.
Performance for this monitor is good. True photographic experts are not likely to be satisfied, because the monitor, like all in its class, is not capable of exactingly reproducing the widest range of gamut colors, nor is it up to the standards of the $2,000-plus models that offer uncompromising and detailed spot adjustments for photographic work. But don't let any of that dissuade you. I use the monitor all the time for my own digital photographs, and the images are clear, crisp, vibrant, and pleasing. The vast majority of us have no need for the most esoteric features of the highest-end monitors, and if we did, it is doubtful we would be reading this review, anyway.
What the T260 is, however, is a great monitor for the average user, and one that adds a touch of physical style that makes most other monitors look ancient by comparison. The monitor also offers HDMI connectivity, USB 2.0 ports, and a touch-sensitive power control that has no mechanical component. And although this particular model cannot be rotated 90 degrees, the size of the monitor makes this feature largely unnecessary, even when editing manuscripts.
Considering the performance, the price, and the styling, I can easily recommend this monitor to most typical users.
- I just received the monitor, so my intention is to write a review based on initial impressions. In-depth reviews and long-term reviews I'll leave to others.
Out of the box, not much of a problem. I didn't have much a problem with anything. Just put the two pieces of the base together, insert the metal base piece into the bottom of the monitor, take off the back plate and insert your power cable and whatever cable you are going to use to hook it up to your computer, and pop the back plate back on. DVI, analog and USB are supplied, as well as the power cord, so you get four cords, and will wind up using two (the power cord and the cord you choose to hook up to your monitor). No tools required.
Asthetics - a nice, nice black with a red/rose tinting around the edges, and then silver at the very edges. I like it - this will be personal preference, but it looks nice to me.
I plugged it in and it immediately started going between modes looking for a signal. I turned on the computer, set the Source to the way I hooked it to my computer (DVI, in my case), and it was up and running! No dead pixels!! I had an older Syncmaster T213 from a few years ago, and it had no dead pixels either, and my review of online reviews notes that pretty much all Samsungs go out of the factory with no dead pixels. This was an important issue with me, as sometimes companies don't take back monitors with only a few dead pixels, but I have had none with two Samsungs so far.
Then I set my computer for 1920x1200 resolution, and here I am. Done. It has a driver disc, but I haven't found the need to install the driver yet - maybe I will later, but it seems plug-n-play to me.
Initial review of screen - great. I popped in a Blu-Ray disc and love the results. Internet/general use, pictures, movies, etc. all look great. As noted, I had a Samsung Syncmaster before this one, and I love them both.
My only things to discuss - the tilt feature is kind of tough - you have to be careful but forceful, and at first I was nervous it didn't have a tilt feature, but it does. And the back plate seems kind of cheap, but you're most likely only going to access that a few times in the life of the monitor, if you're just going to hook it up to your computer and use it. Finally, the USB ports are in the back behind the plate, so the ports are okay for plugging in something you're not going to be messing with for awhile, like a keyboard, mouse or printer. But they're not practical at all for mp3 players or memory sticks or anything you'll take in and out regularly.
One thing I'd like to note is the monitor is HDCP-compliant. This is important if you want to play Blu-Ray discs, but not a lot of places list this important specification where you can find it easily.
In conclusion, a nice monitor that you will love for home or home office use.

5 comments about Terk HD-TVS Slim Profile Outdoor HDtv Antenna.
- We are 30+ miles from most of the TV stations in the Atlanta area and we are in the process of changing from Analog to Digital reception for all TV's in our house. We had two old standard external (inexpensive) antenna's installed in our attic that we had not used for a few years. We purchased the Terk HD-TVS antenna specifically to move to DTV reception. Our neighborhood has a covenant restriction against external antennas but because the HD TVS looks like a dish, we thought that it would be the perfect solution. We received the product and connected it outside before mounting it permanently and the reception was awful. Only the closest stations worked at all. The signal strength was very very low. We connected both of our old antennas just to see what would happen and to our surprise, both of the standard external (inexpensive) antennas mounted in our attic receives all of the local DTV broadcasts. The reception strength is very high on the closest channels and low for the channels at the greatest distance but all of the channels work. The Terk HD-TVS was much worse than the standard external (inexpensive) antenna so we returned it.
- We actually put this antenna in our attic and it works great. We haven't had any problems with it. The picture is very clear.
- I live in Kensington, MD which is within the Washington, DC metro area. I had the antenna installed inconspicuously on the roof. We are no longer using cable TV or satellite TV signals. We are using this antenna as our only TV signal source. We are also using an antenna signal amplifier, the TERK 15 dB Broadband Cable Amplifier. We get amazing digital signals from various local channels including FOX, CBS, ABC, several PBS channels, TFA, CW, and UNI. The picture quality from these digital channels is awesome, and it's all free!
Of course, we do not get all of the sports channels, Discovery channel, History channel, and HGTV for my wife, but we supplement our TV watching with DVDs from Blockbuster.com (Netflix is another fine option).
Considering the ever increasing cost of Cable or Satellite TV along with the cost of equipment rental, this antenna along with the signal amplifier is a fine option to consider.
- I recently canceled my Comcast service to save money and instead bought the Terk HD-TVS as a replacement with the Samsung HD Tuner. The Terk is in my attic hanging from the crawl space rafters facing the attic window in roughly the degree towards the antennas. It took a few minutes of adjusting but i now get great HD signals from CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX and My9. PBS signal is weak for now, but i do get channel 31-2 which is QUBO all day kids, so that makes up for lost PBS Kids and all Noggin channels from Cable.
The Terk was a cinch to set up, came with everything i need to attach it and gets nice reception. According to the website the main signals are about 13 miles from my house in NJ at about 83 degrees. So i face the Antenna facing 83 degrees and it works.
Overall i am very satisfied with the purchase and recommend it
- Tried 3 other antennas first -- this one gets flawless reception. The broadcast antennas are over 20 miles away.

4 comments about Verbatim DVD-R, 4.7GB, Lightscribe,printable, Color, 25/PK.
- I like these LightScribe discs and the colored ones are even better. They add a bit o' variety (the spice of life) to that pile of burned discs you have on your shelf. Seriously though, these work just as advertised although I wish black would show up a little blacker.
- Good value for the money, no problem in burning the designs on the label side. I only wish the black effects were more vivid. Some wave-like effects were produced which is not part of the design itself.
- This is partially because of my own assumptions, but I thought that this product was for burning DVD's and CD's, but it is almost useless if you want to burn a CD because the sons will only play in DVD players, not CD players at all. It works great for DVD's, but if you're looking for something that does it all, look again.
- I have a Lite-On LightScribe DVD burner, and have tried various brands of LightScribe blanks, and have found Verbatim LightScribe discs to be the very best - perfect everytime - no faulty discs in the entire bunch. However, I can not say that about any other LightScribe disc manufacturers; Philips discs being the worst of all - most of the Philips discs failing to operate properly in the DVD burner.

5 comments about Philips SHE5920 Virtual Surround Sound In-Ear Headphones.
- These buds produce great sound and I like the way they stick right in your ear canal because I can never get the other type of ear buds to stay in place. They're also quite durable. I've always had a tendency to go through any kind of headphones or ear buds like dental floss, but these last quite a long time.
- These headphones provide a terrible sound. I definitely would not recommend them.
The Philips SHE5910 model is much better, at the same, or lower, price.
- The sound is really good, but I can't keep them in my ears. If I walk too fast or chew food, they fall out. What good are earbuds if you can't keep them in your ears.
- I initially liked the sound quality, but after using them for awhile, discovered that the design is terrible. First, I have lost all but one of the silicon rubber adapters. The rubber adapters seem to soften with age and they come off easily. With the clear silicone rubber, you don't notice you've lost one till you put it in your ear. Finding a lost one is almost as easy as finding a contact lens. I checked Philips customer support, but they don't stock replacement adapters. They referred me to a website, but the cost of the replacement plus s/h is as much as the price of a new set of earphones in Amazon.
Second, the earphones continually fall out if you are doing anything involving upper body movement, like yard work. Part of the problem is the conical shape which tends to put a lot of the weight/bulk and wire on the very end of the earphone. It is also due to the extremely long cord that seems to get hung up on everything, no matter how I wrap it around my body. The falling out is also due to the relatively large size of the cone end that goes in the ear canal. It does not fit my medium to small ear canal, even with the smallest silicone adapter.
Finally, the design of the earphones makes them painful for my medium to small ear canal. It hurts when I insert the earphones and feels uncomfortable to wear. Wearing them for a long period of time makes the ear canal sore.
The tight fit of the earphones does keep out a lot of external noise in situations like riding the bus or a plane. The sound quality is also better than regular OEM earphones that come with most mp3 players. However, I would not buy these earphones again if for no other reason than the unreplaceable silicon adapters.
- I bought these headphones and tried everything to get them to fit in my ear. Unless you have dumbo ears, they will not stay in your ear unless you are a statue. I tried both rubber attachments, and even tried wearing them without the rubber pieces, and they still fell right out of my ear with the slightest head move. As I ended up holding them in my ear with my hands, the sound was no better than any other headphones. Make sure they fit your ear! You'll be angry if they don't...

5 comments about Monster Standard 100 Instrument Cable 12 ft. - straight 1/4 plugs S100-I-12.
- Monster is the best cable ever.
- This is a well made, well designed cable. It looks like it'll hold up well.
- Monster is known for good quality cables but also for being pretty expensive, so I was suprised to see that these cables were only running $20 for 12 ft. and $25 for 21 ft.
I didn't bother looking at them at Guitar Center as I just thought, I'm sure they're nice but I won't even bother looking at the price. The sales rep recommended them when I asked about some quality cables and told me about their lifetime guarantee. I'm tired of cables going on the fuzz and having to buy new ones only 2-3 yrs. after purchase so after seeing the price, I went for it.
End result, they work perfectly. I was having some buzz and noise from my older cables but that's all gone now. The Monster cable sounds clean and clear. No more background interference.
If you'll notice from the picture, Monster wisely chose to cover the bottom of the plug with a nice rubber cover. No more of those metal covers that unscrew, allowing dirt and dust to get in there. Those things caused alot of trouble for me over the years and I'm glad to not have to mess around with them anymore. The blue stripe is one of a few different color bands, which are included, that you can use to color code your cables with. So you can color each one for each purpose. Good feature.
I like this cable and it's good to know that it'll be replaced for free forever under normal use and wear and tear. I've stayed away from Monster for home theater as their audio/video cables are outrageously over priced. But for playing guitar, I think I have my new brand. Recommended.
- Fast shipping, perfect condition. Picture shows 1 end 90 degrees and one end straight. It is actually straight on both ends.
- Monster lives up to their reputation; great performance.
The service and packaging were exceptional.

5 comments about Maxell 191018 Audio Tape Head Cleaner (Wet).
- I haven't been able to use this product for it's intended purpose because the fluid is completely impossible to get out of the bottle, so far as I can tell. The bottle is so small and so stiff that it can't be squeezed. No amount of shaking or gravity seems to be able to pull the fluid out, either. Even if it were an issue of just squeezing hard enough, it'd be impossible to squeeze that hard with one hand while holding the tape with the other. Total bust.
- Good product, cleans the head as it should. Watch out from strong liquid, it will bleach fabric if you spill.
- I use this in conjunction with a demagnetizing tape head cleaner cassette. Both are the same exact thing except that this one has no rotating magnet in it. I wet this cassette with plenty of cleaning fluid and it improves the quality of my playback after playing filthy old cassettes. I play it with the dry demagnetizing tape to dry it off and polish it while demagnetizing it. I recommend this tape in conjunction with a demagnetizing head cleaner cassette as well.
- I was glad to finally find this item, as I had looked in several stores, and it was not available. So glad you have items that are hard to find but still needed.
- I'm copying old cassettes to MP3s, and some of the tapes are a real mess, so after running a couple through the tape player, the player starts to sound really mushy. A couple runs through with this tape head cleaner, and it's back to clear sound again.
One thing ... I noticed another reviewer complained that they were not able to get the liquid out of the bottle because the bottle was too stiff to squeeze ... I also had this problem until I realized that you have to stick a pin inside the dropper to break the seal - after that it worked perfectly.
