5 comments about Monster AI REMOTE iEZClick Remote Control for iPod.
  1. I intended to use this product to control my 3rd gen Nano while motorcycling. It does not work. If you press the up volume button, it moves the volume to max. If you press down volume, it moves the volume to min. There is no way to increase or decrease volume with this device! I tried pairing it as per the instructions, but it made no difference. Also, you cannot skip a song. Pressing the forward button fast forwards through the song instead of skipping to the next song. I don't know about other iPods, but if you have a 3rd gen Nano, this product does not work at all.

  2. Remote works well with Ipod Nano 3rd genereation.

I think stock battery is a bit weak and sensitive to low tempereatures. I replaced it with a fresh duracell, and now it seems a little less sensitive to cold temperatures.

When skipping ahead, there is a small delay before the remote will let you skip to the next song, ie. skip one, wait a sec and skip again. If you keep pressing, it won't skip. I don't know if it's because of the radio frequencies, but that is the reality of it.

Works extremely well for motorcycle applications.

  3. Always a tough call when a product has such mixed reviews. But, seeing no better options out there, I decided to take the chance. I am using this on my motorcycle to control a 2G iPod Nano. For the first 1,000 miles of on and off use over two trips, it worked fine and I was quite pleased. However, after a few days of non-use, I took the iPod and AI Remote with me for another ride and experienced the same issues reported by so many others. Buttons would either not respond or would continually repeat the selected command - whether that be a volume adjustment, track change, or play/pause. I'm not done with it yet, as I want to use it some more to see if I can figure out what changed. However, given the experience I've had what could have been a 5-star is now no better than a 3.

  4. I usually don't do reviews but I am so unhappy with this product that I wanted to warn others. As others stated buttons don't work reliably, and several times when I hit the volume button it went to max. Then it won't turn off or lower so your eardrums burst. I was riding a motorcycle each time it happened and by the time I could pull over and rip off my helmet I was deaf.
Lucky I didn't crash. I returned the item today to Amazon with no hassles..do the same, better yet buy something else.

  5. I bought this product to use with my motorcycle. It worked well enough with my first generation nano, but I bout a new Nano (video) for a trip, and it didn't work AT ALL. Very frustrating. I am sending this POS back.

  1. Product arrived on time as promised. It worked perfectly. The price was excellent. The price plus the shipping was still less than what other websites were offering the remote for. My girlfriend used the remote on a motorcycle trip to NC and she thought it was great.

  2. This remote control works well, right out of the box, with my XM receiver. I use it all day every day to dial around to channels. Style fits with the XM satellite receiver, and it's cheap. Excellent!

  3. The remote has a very limited range. YOu have to stand within 6 feet for it to work.

  4. I should have gone ahead and bought another home kit, for the difference in price I could have had another antenna, and receiver for listening in another location.

  5. Small remote. Cheap price. Works great.

Got this when I purchased Altec Lansing XM3120 Docking/Speaker System for Audiovox Express and Delphi Roady XT and it was worth the extra money. Makes it much more usable when I don't have to get up and go across the room to change volume or channels.

5 comments about SANUS SYSTEM Flat Panel TV Stand Platinum Furniture ( Black ).
  1. Do yourself a favor and buy this stand. In my opinion this is the most perfect flat panel stand you can currently buy on the market. When it arrived it was extremely easy to put together and the overall quality of the assembled product matches it's great looks. It effortlessly holds a Denon receiver, cable box, dvd and blu ray player, xbox 360, center channel speaker, and a voltage regulator and looks fantastic while doing so...

  2. I bought 2 units for a dealer show. One unit for a 37" and one unit for a 47" Philips HD LCD. The design allowed the stand to work well with both TV's. Assembly was easy and many of my customers complimented the nice stand.

  3. I bought this item for my 42" sony television and it was a wonderful buy.

  4. looks really nice though I didnt know it was going to be as wide as my 42" tv.

Not that hard to put together.

Love the fact that not cables are hanging around.

Would like it to be a little higher...
    gets really dusty

  5. We purchased this Sanus TV stand over a year ago and we still get compliments on it! Most people still don't realize that stands like this are available (they always assume that you have to hang a flat-screen on the wall or get a low piece of furniture to stand it on).

I bought a different though similar stand locally and was completely unimpressed with the quality. I couldn't tighten the mounting bolts on the shelf enough to hold our A/V components (the shelves leaned forward at about a 20-degree angle). That unit was returned and we bought the Sanus here at Amazon.

The Sanus is stand is well-built and very sturdy. I was concerned at first that the glass shelves wouldn't be strong enough. Our NAD T753 receiver weighs ~50 pounds and the shelf barely moved when I placed it there.

The stand is very heavy...make sure you have the delivery guy(s) put it in the room that you're going to use it in. Overall, the stand is very easy to put together. One tricky part is getting the vertical spacing on the shelves correct from the standpoint of placing/removing/placing heavy components while you check clearances.

The only downside to this stand that I could find was mentioned in other reviews: it's difficult to snake cables and wires through the column.

    This unit is highly recommended!

5 comments about Microsoft 17" Neoprene Laptop Sleeve.
  1. I looked everywhere for a sleeve that would fit a 17". Every time I thought I found one, I would read the reviews and people said it didn't fit. Then I found this. It fit perfectly!
I bought it for my husband who takes his laptop to work, but doesn't want to carry that big bag my 2-year-old started calling "daddy's purse".
His laptop fit great. It's slim. The handles don't look like a purse, but are sturdy. And you can fit papers and a few other things in there if needed. I am very happy with this product.

  2. This laptop sleeve was perfect for my 17" laptop. It arrived timely and in excellent condition.

  3. I had a tough time finding a laptop case that fit my HP 17.5". This one is a perfect fit - just like a glove. I also am able to add minor items such as paper or even the power charger. I wish the orange color wasn't so bright, but that's irrelevant. It does exactly what I bought it for - in my book that's perfect.

  4. First I want to say I love my Laptop sleeve, for some reason I do not know why I got two,I do not remember ordering two I sent one back and that all went well I was credited for the bag I sent back but my question is I paid more then I was credited do not know why, this was a question I have never had any problems when ordering from Amazon ever it has been great experence everyone is so kind and helpfull when I have needed help.
The company I got the sleeve from was very nice no problems.
thanks again for your help. and support.

  5. I bought this sleeve to use with a Gateway P-6860 FX. The large battery sticks out the back of the laptop, but the whole thing squeezes into the sleeve snugly (yes, it zips up). The case is nice and lightweight, and it's great to have the handle to carry it (which many sleeves like the Belkin do not have), because any 17" laptop is going to be pretty heavy. The quality seems very good.

Best of all, the black/orange color scheme matches the Gateway FX series perfectly.

  1. I have no complaints about this product. It is inexpensive, it worked as advertised. The cable seems fairly sturdy although I haven't subjected it to any extreme tests. It was also shipped quickly, and with all things considered it was a good purchase.

  2. The cable has worked without any problems to transfer digital video from a MiniDV camera to a PC. It was a great value.

  3. I cringe everytime I go to a retail store and see what they charge for cables. I never buy cables at brick and mortar stores, only online, and mostly at Amazon.

    Buy with confidence.

  4. This cable is great quality. It isn't stiff at all like another reviewer stated. It works perfectly with all of my devices -- external hard drive and DV Camcorder. I have no idea why someone would buy a more expensive cable when this one works great and is so cheap. Here, cheap does not mean low quality. This is the cable to buy if you're looking at other more expensive options. Use the money you save to take your girlfriend/wife out to get some ice cream :)

  5. Simple cable works good with my JVC mini DV camcorder. I bought it to put DV onto DVD and it works so I'm happy

  1. The lap top sleeve fits my laptop very nicely and is padded with enough support for protection. I just toss it in my tote bag and am ready to go. I love the small cut outs on the front which fit and hold my mouse and any usb cards. My only complaint is that the brown one did not have the colored dots like the image does on the back side, it's simply brown all over.

  2. i recently bought a built ny cargo sleeve for my macbook. i was skeptical with purchasing this item as the first 2 built ny products i bought didn't exactly fit my macbook to a T. but this one is perfect! the 3 extra pockets have more than enough room for other accessories that i carry with my laptop everyday....charger, mouse and flash drives.

  3. The case is exactly as pictured and is fantastic. I have a Dell M1330 and it fits perfectly snug in the case. The three external pouches hold my USB drive, bluetooth mouse and power cord with ease. The material stretches around whatever I put in it and after using it for about a month has not shown any signs of losing its stretch. Highly recommended.

  4. I recently bought this because I wanted a slim type of laptop protector. It's slim, yet tough and stretches to fit your computer. I love Neoprene because of the quality and that its water-proof.

The three little pockets on the outside also stretch without scratching the laptop. I was able to securely fit my external hard drive, USB Flash drive, and my laptop battery charger. It protected everything when I took it on the airplane and didn't move on bit.

  5. I really like the pockets on the outside of the sleeve. the pockets are just large enough for a mouse, flash drive and external hard drive or power cord. keep in mind that this is just a sleeve, and you will need to put it in a bag or carry it in your hand. but overall a great product.

5 comments about Kensington 62530 Contour Balance Notebook Computer Roller Bag.
  1. Although I purchased this bag last year, I just started using it exactly one month ago. I traveled with it for a week and, since I'm a student, have been using it as a book bag ever since. To my shock, it suddenly ripped about 4" along the zipper - doubtless from my overloading it, but it should have been better made. I will never buy anything from Kensington again.

  2. I wish there were photos of the insides on Amazon or Kensington's website. It has more room than I thought it would. The back is especially roomy - it's divided by the handle assembly, bit there's exactly enough room for my Bose QuietComfort2 case on one side and my laptop powerbrick and food on the other side.
The inside main compartment has enough room for TWO 15" computers (although only one would be padded), plus a few folders, mags or paperback books. Based on the ads and some other comments, I thought the styling might be too "girly", but it's not. The strap is hard to remove, so I just keep it short and leave it on. I was able to use the strap to attach it on my main luggage for wheeling through the airport. By itself, the handle is a good length (I'm 5'8").

  3. I read other people's reviews and decided to try this bag. Can't say enough good about it. Light, stable, fits in the car good. Handy compartments. Agree the shoulder strap is hard to remove...I've solved that - I just leave it on there. It's a good bag, I'd recommend it.

  4. I am a consultant and travel widely. This means long corridors to flight gates, long waits for various strip searches and flight boarding, long queues at immigration control, and long queues to get taxis.

I have tried several shoulder strap computer bags. They all had irritating defects which can be summarised as POOR DESIGN: they were shapeless, did not stand up but rather fell over, lacked storage space, or had too much space in the wrong places, didn't have wheels, had wheels but were too heavy and too big, had the dreaded two handles that just don't want to stay together, etc. And had no convenient place for your passport. Nothing's more irritating than standing at passport control and having either to constantly bend down to pick up a bag with evasive handles that keeps tipping over, or having it drag your shoulder and spine out of whack.

I needed a lightweight compact roller bag large enough to hold my business paraphernalia for full office autonomy but no more (for longer trips, clothing and non business paraphernalia goes in a separate Travelpro 22" inflight roller suitcase but that's another story).

After careful study, I bought this bag and am happy with it. Here's why:

The main compartment holds a laptop plus charger, mouse, and files. The laptop fits in the main compartment and is suspended internally to avoid direct shocks. The mouse and charger fits in a Eagle Creek mini tube vertically off to one side. So the basics are all in one place. The file compartment is large enough to carry a few files (bulky files on long trips go in the Travelpro). This leaves enough room to carry say a toiletry kit or a gift the size of a whisky bottle horizontally on the top of the laptop and files.

Between the main compartment and front compartment, is a small "pocket"; to hold a travel wallet. The wallet is always ready for passport checks, which avoids panic searches. It is an odd pocket confusingly situated near the main pocket, which in a way means it is concealed by virtue of its oddity. Since the travel wallet means nothing is in my pockets, I avoid the "emptying the pockets circus trick ritual" when going through airport check in and scanners.

The front compartment is well organised with various pockets that hold USB tools (two mobile phones, Sony MP3 player & earphones, USB stick, and pens, in the top row; business card holders, and credit card wallet in the bottom row). I also put a red plastic shoe horn in so I can get my flipping shoes back on to my swollen feet during the "obligatory shoe removal disco ritual" when going through the scanners.

There's a second half-size front compartment large enough to hold a sleeping mask, inflatable pillow, or paperback for flight access, or few sheets of toilet paper for those exotic locales.

The oft criticised rear compartment is unfairly maligned. The mesh pockets on each side of the telescopic handle each hold a metallic sunglass case. Two Eagle Creek quarter cubes then fit in over the mesh pockets. One holds PC connectivity stuff, the other digital camera stuff. The rear centre pocket holds a calculator. This still leaves enough room for a newspaper or two as padding. The cubes are easy to pack, nothing gets lost since every object has a home and this means never having to hunt for anything.

The shoulder strap attachment is awkward only if you plan to remove it and since I don't, this design flaw is irrelevant although the plastic is cheap and incongruous. The contour profile of the back of the bag really does ease the discomfort of the strap pulling on your shoulder.

The telescopic T-handle is comfortable, works well and is sturdy. Its single tube construction means that it not only takes up less space in the rear compartment, it prevents the tottering movement of a bag pulled by a twin telescopic tube handle. The fact the rear compartment is slightly exposed when the handle is up is a non issue since all electrical components are protected by the Eagle Creek cubes. Finally, the handle when extended is useful to park a blazer and panama hat on when waiting in transit lounges.

The plastic wheels are sturdy shock absorbing roller blade types, encased in a plastic base with a front ledge to ensure the bag is level at rest. The base is waterproof and wipes clean with a damp cloth.

The rear of the bag has a sturdy strap which enables it to slide over the pull up handle of the Travelpro securely and rest on the suitcase stably.

The bag is no wider than the Travelpro, and is narrow enough so that you can pull it down economy class airplane aisles without hitting the armrests.

The centre handle, for when the pull up handle is not in use, is a single handle; soft and retracts when not in use.

The full bag is not excessively heavy, and is small enough for regional aircraft bin racks.

My only comment is that there is nowhere to attach your house keys for easy access. I jury rigged a solution by fastening a metal click-release keyloop to the bag with wire (inside the main compartment of the bag off to the left of the laptop). I also fear the stitching may not hold up over time, especially the liner material of the travel wallet compartment and zippers.

This bag has greatly facilitated my travelling organisation as well as wear and tear on my shoulders and back. It is lightweight yet seems sturdily built. It enforces packing discipline to the absolute essentials. Unless it breaks, it seems to be the perfect mobile companion for a consultant.

  5. Just the right size for carry-on with room to slip a change of clothes in. I love the curved back that makes carrying the bag very comfortable for a woman. Rolls well, the handle telescopes easily and is adjustable. All in all, I'm very pleased.

  1. This great armband fits all iPhones well (4gb, 8gb, and 16gb).

Brand new design! Openings in back allow you to charge your iPod iPhone while it's in the armband. These fit arms from 8 inches to 20 inches (very small to large). Armband has a flap to hold extra headphone length. This is our newest and best armband!

  2. my iPhone is fully functional through the window. armband has a hole for the headphone and charger too. the strap is elastic so it expands when your muscles expand while working out with weights. would also work great with the iPod touch. SUPER FAST SHIPPING!

  1. I searched for headphones for our 2 1/2 year old daughter's first plane ride. She's not very keen having things on her head, like most kids. I was happy to find this brand as I am a teacher and like that we use these in the classroom. These really are tried and true. They are super light, comfortable and easy to pack. Bonus--they are inexpensive! I recommend this product for portable DVD players and computers when flying or doing a long drive. I don't think they'll disappoint.

  2. Fits my childs head perfectly. He is 8 and kept complaining about "loose" over the head headphones. Quality is decent too, but comfort level for the child is excellent.

  3. My little one hates wearing headphones. She has her own computer that's in the main room of the house where her mother and I usually are. I intentionally never hooked up speakers because she likes to listen to her shows too loudly and it would keep us from being able to do anything requiring any level of focus in that room.

I searched out headphones for children and found these. I showed them to her and explained what they'd do for her, and asked her to choose a color. Her red headphones arrived shortly afterward and she loves using them.

The cord could be a little longer, but I definitely recommend this product.

  4. In preparation for a 9 hour flight with my 2 1/2 year old, I went in search for a pair of headphones that would fit her and, these worked great. She was able to easily put them on/off and we used them throughout our European car travels and to/from flights attached to an 80 gig Zune loaded with various programs she liked to watch. Really came in handy.

  5. Fit perfectly on my 3 year old & my 5 year old. They didn't slip off or move around at all. They were comfortable and they could put them on by themselves. Sound was good, and we couldn't hear the movie when they were wearing them.
