5 comments about Notebook Cooler, Silver, ZM-NC2000.
- Made of aluminum surface, the product feels sturdy and of quality. The up draft is evenly spread and works well with my HP dv6449us. Fan noise is noticeable only at high speed. I still feel it need not be this pricey, hence the four stars instead of five.
- I just bought one of these things (a ZalmanZM-NC2000). It certainly looks nice, and the Dell XPS M1710 sits on it nicely. (It's a 17" laptop - fan intakes on the bottom in the back.)
There are only two problems.
1) It doesn't cool the laptop. (I monitor temps, and it made no difference.)
2) It's VERY uncomfortable on your lap - the rear aluminum frame cuts across your legs.
Oh, yes. If you put it on your lap, you cover the fan inlets (the temp monitoring I did for 1 above was on a table.)
So unless your looking for an expensive way to prop your laptop on your desk, look elsewhere for a solution to the hot lap problem. What a waste of money.
- This is the only laptop cooler fan that I could find that would fit under my laptop, without the laptop hanging over on the sides or top. Would recommend this to anyone!!!! I work on the laptop 8-10 hours a day, so it get hot, but since I have been using the cooler, my laptop fan hasn't been kicking on as much if at all.
- This product works great! And you will get greater performance if you have an air conditioner in the room.
- Its a great product. It keeps my notebook way cooler and the aluminum is always cold to the touch. and the angle its set at is much more comfertable to use and puts less stress on the spot where i would usually leave my hands which, if anyone has had a lap top for an extended period of time knows, would eventually put unsightly cracks in it.

5 comments about Altec Lansing XM3020 Docking/Speaker System for the MyFi, AirWare, Tao.
- I have 4 of them, one in different rooms and one outside. Good quaility and sound.
- This is the third I buy of these little gems, I have one for the office, the basement and now one for outside, I intend to purchase more at this price I intend to have one in all rooms of the house.
The sound is great for personal use, I would not use it for a party with many people as the sound would not be loud enough.
Great product and at this price you can't miss.
- And what a great price! Even with the high shipping cost, it's one of the best things I've purchased.
I use this at work on my desk. The sound is great and I love being able to listen to satellite radio all day (makes the subscription price even more worth it). There's a window in the office so the antenna can sit on the south-facing windowsill providing perfect reception. Fortunately my office-mate likes the same kind of music!
- From the famous folks who make speakers for computers, this little docking station is surprising good. Altec Lansing seems to know how to get good sound out of small packages and this is another example. And best of all, it is very reasonably priced.
- This is the second Altec Lansing docking station I have purchased. The first one works great, but with this one you really have to mess with it to get a signal.

5 comments about Black mini stereo speaker for ipod nano(2nd 3rd 4th Gen) video Classic (6th 7th Gen) touch new + Free MP3 clip on earphone.
- After reading all of the reviews on this site about this speaker I picked one up but when it arrived I was disconcerned about how cheap this thing was. It looks like it's worth about 50 cents and something that was homemade. The speaker is worthless.
- Concept is good, but the product is of poor quality.
It has a couple volume control buttons, and does actually produce sound. But at maximum volume it is barely audible in a fairly quiet environment.
A waste of money at $19 + 10 shipping. I'm looking for a quality replacement for this. This is the quality of something you would expect to find at the dollar store.
- Is there anyway to tell whether these reviewer really bought this product ?
Some of them are very suspicious !
just opinion :)-
- Obviously this little thing's not going to please any audiophiles, but it is functional as a speaker.
It plugs into the data port. No batteries are required.
It has two buttons for volume adjustments.
One annoying feature is that whenever you plug the speakers into the iPod touch, the iPod touch loads up the music player, even if you were watching a YouTube video. I don't know if this is fault of the iPod or the speaker.
The second annoying feature is that it is somewhat thicker than an iPod Touch.
The third annoying feature is that it is rather flimsily attached to the iPod.
Cheap and functional for when you don't want to deal with headphones, which it also comes with.
- Just a note about the seller:
I received quick delivery of the speaker, it was well packed and the speaker's factory packaging was easy to open. Based on my experience I recommended this seller.
The speaker is what I was looking for it has made my I-touch more enjoyable to use. The speaker is something that I hope Apple will build in to the next I-Touch.
I didn't expect alot of sound from the speakers but was very happy with the results, not a lot of bass but I did expect this based on other reviews.
The speaker allows you to play games, watch movies and also hear all the alarms without having to always wear earbuds.
Now all I need is a case that will work well with the speaker allowing me to leave the speaker connected, one that I can hook to my belt is preferred.

5 comments about Channel Master 4228 Multi-Bay HDTV UHF Antenna.
- This is a high quality, fringe reception area UHF (14-69) 8-bay array TV antenna made by a proven antenna company here in the USA. This is a double sized version of the Channel Master's proven CM-4221 4-bay array UHF antenna. This is an outdoor antenna and it performs very well on the reception of UHF TV stations. If you are shopping for a fringe area reception high quality UHF antenna, I would highly recommend this antenna over the DB-8.
I would recommend doing research in your area to find out where the TV stations are transmitting from and on what channels before purchasing any antenna. You can visit www.antennaweb.org to find out where the TV stations are located at.
- As satelite TV customers, our local HD channels are not available to us as we're "within range" of the transmitters. Technically that's true but the reality is we're in an extremely heavily forested mountain valley 50+ miles from those transmitters. Normal UHF antennas were marginal for the old analog signals and clearly no match for the more finicky digial variety. The 4228 with a matching low noise, high gain, mast mounted preamp so far has acquired an additional 13 channels we had never received before, all in perfect HD and in all weather.
Is it big? Yes.
Is it ugly? Absolutely!
Does it work? For us, it works like a charm!
- Stop paying cable! SAVE $$$ This item can help you break away from Comcast. I live in the San Francisco East Bay area, about 45 miles from the signal tower (Sutro Tower) without line of sight due to the hills, but I pick up about 45 channels over the air (OTA) in HD! What's more you won't believe the clarity of HD signals on your HD TV with built-in tuner or just analog TV with a digital converter box. I have this item set up on the roof, and got my bearing by checking out my location on the Antennaweb.org website. Easy to set up, reasonable price on Amazon (if you are in the bay area, you can get this item from your local Fry's for $59 + tax). If you want to set this up on your roof, you need to purchase a mast, or simply try to set it up on your attic. This is a definitely one of the smartest things I ever purchased!
- I live in Wantage, NJ (zipcode 07461) which is a tough area for DTV reception from NYC. We're located approximately 48.5 miles from the transmitters at the ESB, and behind hills, therefore the path to us is 2 edge diffraction and very tough.
Prior to this antenna, I tried a philips corner reflector/LPDA from Lowe's, which would only pick up NJN (state run public TV) and a couple of religious broadcasters. I figured it was time for something else so I bought the CM4228.
The 4228 is a time tested design of eight dipoles (bowties) with a reflective screen.
I put it up on my 86 foot ham radio tower, aligned it towards NYC with the help of my wife (who was watching the signal meter on the TV) and got nearly every channel, with the exception of WNYW-DT (UHF 44). But considering that TVFool.com and CEA's antennaweb gave me very low prospects for receiving anything, I consider my result to be satisfactory. WNYW is a special case as they have a directional antenna to prevent interference to channel 44 in Atlantic City NJ.
Yes, I have a tower, but this antenna works fine on rooftops or other structures. It may even work in an attic. Since it is classified as a large directional, you will need to aim it properly, otherwise you'll be doing more harm than good to your received signal. Its high directivity also helps with multipath and overload from strong nearby signals.
The big plus of this antenna is that the screen acts as a VHF antenna, so it may be all you need come 02/17/09 when some of the digital stations move back to VHF.
- The antenna performs beautifully. I'm about 60 miles from the transmitters and in almost all cases the signal is rock solid. During extremely heavy storms I may have some loss. With a mast mounted amplifier I'm sure I could eliminate even these fall outs.

5 comments about Scotch Disc Cleaner for CD and DVD.
- I have now cleaned a few discs with excellent results! A good product that is easy to use.
- it is just what I wanted, it works, it is easy to use and not expensive! Prefect
- I purchased another brand disc cleaner at a video game store. The package claimed that it worked on dvd players. It did not work, and hoping to save the money of replacing the dvd player, I tried the Scotch Disc Cleaner. It worked like a charm and now I do not have to replace my dvd player. I highly recommend this product.
- Good for cleaning used and rented CD's and games. Cheap. Does not remove scratches. Keeps your game consol and DVD player clean.
- Quick, simple and easy to operate. Works manually with Excellent results. (Took me a moment to figure out opening it the first time.) Comes with spray on liquid cleaner that could be made at home for continued using of the item.

5 comments about Altec Lansing T515 Portable Speaker for Stereo Bluetooth Phone.
- This unit is very sleek, very straightforward, and it works! I wanted a bluetooth stereo headset for my cell phone, and I am happy I chose this. I like that it's not a bulky headset that looks obvious; rather I can use any little earbuds I like (comes with a pair) and just plug them in to the receiver unit. You need to clip the unit on to a pocket or whatever but it's very light. It's the same as having a little iPod shuffle clipped somewhere. I find the range just fine, seems to be around four to six metres so if your phone is in your pocket or purse or on your desk, it works beautifully. The bonus in this for me was the external speaker - I really only wanted the bluetooth earphones but I'm using the external speaker a lot! The sound quality is good. It's not full sized sound, but I wasn't expecting that. It sounds very nice and it is incredibly portable. I would not want to have paid the $120 it sold for originally in Canada, but with the deal I got on Amazon I am completely thrilled with it!
- I was looking for both a desktop speaker and headset (for working out and general entertainment) for my Blackjack II music. After hours of headset comparisons I decided on one and then went on to find a desktop speaker and stumbled upon this Altec Lansing desktop/travel speaker with a detachable headset. There is a little door in between the speakers which holds a small unit into which you plug wired, very comfortable earphones (and I have small ears). The pairing is very easy and the sound is pretty impressive especially considering the size of the shiny black speaker unit. Right now I am listening to XM radio through the headphones and it sounds amazing. I am extremely impressed and I am very critical. By the way I did not order the other headset cause this does it all!!! Oh and it comes with this nice case which holds the speaker and earphones. The price on the box was $99. . .I got it for $34 plus shipping but it would have definately been worth the $99 as well!! :)
- At the current price level (I paid around $32), these are a fantastic bargain. Now, they're not by any means high end audio, but if you want them to convert your bluetooth-enabled phone into a portable mini-stereo, this is the perfect product for that. As a bonus, the little bluetooth receiver clips to your collar so that you can use the included stereo headphones. You can navigate back/forward and pause/play from the receiver or from the phone, and it does even work as a speaker phone (though it's not the best speaker phone by any means). I bought this mainly to have speakers to play music for my phone at the beach, and they are just perfect for that, just enough sound to enjoy without bugging anyone around you. The fact that I can also listen music around the house without being tethered to the device (phone or bluetooth-enabled computer) playing it is also very awesome.
The one thing to remember is if the speakers sound distorted, you have to turn them all the way down, then back up again. The speakers can be plugged in or run on 4 AAA batteries, and the same plug works for the speakers and to charge the receiver/medallion thingy. They can also be powered/charged by the included USB cable.
Highly recommended for extremely portable, lightweight, bluetooth stereo. They even include a nice rubbery carrying case to protect the speakers, though it would be nice if it had room for batteries and such.
All in all a very cool device for the money, I'm considering buying for other family members while these are still available at this great price.
- Got these speakers to connect via bluetooth to my phone so I could play music in my hotel room when I travel. Works great. Plenty loud for a hotel room or when traveling. No amazing bass, but it gets the job done. Never used it for making phone calls or anything other than playing music so I can't comment on any of that.
It's great that they can be battery powered too.
- I was worried when it said these speakers require an A2DP phone. A WHAT? I tried it and it works with my verizon chocolate 8550. NICE, since the visor speaker I bought for my car, and the single ear headset I have, that work for phone calls, don't work with the stereo music feature on my phone. At last I'll be able to listen to my audio books without using my stereo headphones.

4 comments about PlayStation 3 Power Cord.
- We bought this cord so we could move the PS3 from my son's room to the family room without having to disconnect the cord behind his TV stand and then our TV wall unit, where we use it to watch BluRay HD movies...now we have one at each location (with a HDMI cable as well). It fit the PS3 just fine and powers it perfectly...and all for about $5 or $6....much less expensive than a Sony brand cord.
- Not much to comment on. It is identical to the OEM (original equipment manufactured) cord that comes w/ the PS3. I needed it becuase i have all my wires in my entertainment closet zip tied down. This makes taking my PS3 from my entertainment room into my bedroom very simple.
-J
- This group got my order to me quickly and in one piece which is the only thing they needed to do. I would buy from them a hundred more times.
- It works the way it's supposed to. Wanted an extra power cord when on the move. So if you need a replacment or extra, just get this.

- Pros: cheap, should protect the player if dropped.
Cons: I bought a case expecting a belt clip, and none was included. It's also fairly bulky.
I guess I can't complain for the money. I'd return it, but it would probably cost more than I'd gain.
- My sansa got so scratched up the first few days I had it so I bought this casing for it and I love it. I bought a new sansa because I really messed up the other one and it has no problems at all. It lives in that case. I never take it out and I haven't had to yet.
I read that it's hard to get off but that's kinda the point since most people will have it bouncing around or shifting alot. The buttons are still very easy to get to and I have really thick fingers. I'm one of those people who presses several buttons on their cellphone on accident and I have no trouble with it at all on my sansa.
- it's plastic..its a case it does what its supposed to do but the clip hardly stays up so it will make your mp3 player fall..and the case is very difficult to get off I will have to ask my husband for help to get this off since my hands are not strong enough. this was a waste of money and i will be opting out for a different case
- It does just what the description says it will do. Mine came with a
workable belt clip.
- Will protect your e280 from key scratches in your pocket. A little challenging to put on and take off, I did it and I am no genius. The case has a ribbon that you use to hang the e280 around your neck while listening on a flight. The belt attachment I am not going to use. It is fine for the price.

5 comments about Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 950 Hybrid TV Stick.
- I originally purchased this product for use with my MacBook Pro when I travel. Overall, I have found that this product works reasonably well. Setup was relatively quick and simple. The only catch is that you have to repeat setup every time you change locations. There is no method in EyeTV to quickly rescan the channels. The supplied antenna works shockingly well for an omnidirectional antenna. Video quality in EyeTV is acceptable, but I often find there are sound issues. There seems to be a lot of clipping in the audio. I have seen some rumors that this may be mitigated (but definitely not fixed) in a later release, but I can simply not bring myself to pay for an upgrade to the full version of EyeTV. I was also disappointed to learn that there is no clear-QAM support with this version of the product. If you are looking for an inexpensive tuner to give you basic functionality, this product may suit your needs.
- After being disappointed with several other USB TV tuners I finally found one that works as advertised.
- Great product, beautiful picture and compact... who could ask for more? I am very pleased.
- The thing worked fine for me, although the quality was much less than i expected. It was okay if you are simply watching TV on your laptop in a small window, but I actually recorded the video to my hard-drive and burned them to a DVD, and although it played in the DVD player, the quality was terrible. This is an okay item if you only plan to watch TV on your computer.
What I AM mad about is the ridiculous $17 "restocking fee" Amazon charged me! I mean, this TV stick is the size of a large thumb drive, and I simply and neatly put it back in the box and mailed it back, so I find this charge a little ridiculous, and will probably never buy from Amazon again if I get charged like this to send something back.
- I believe this is the same device as the one sold by El Gato, but half the price. It comes with a connector to hook to an external display like a TV and an external antenna for receiving over the air content. Reception from the included antenna is just average, but this is expected because I live amongst tall buildings where I normally get poor reception. But of the channels I can receive, picture quality is great.
