4 comments about Musicians Gear Heavy Duty Basic Mic Clip.
- Every gigging musician knows that when something as petty as a Mic Clip gets broken, it is more than a little annoying. I have this as my spare and think it works just fine.
- We have Rock Band and needed a microphone stand, which we got with no holder. This holder is perfect and now we can sing and play at the same time.
- What's not to like? These mic clips are heavy duty plastic and they were inexpensive. I've used them for quite some time now and even after crushing falls onto the concrete they're still going strong. Like I said, inexpensive and heavy duty. Two of my all time favorite attributes. I recommend them highly.
- Very sturdy and reliable. It's saved my mic from ending up on the floor to be rolled over by my husband's desk chair again and again and again. LOL

5 comments about Power Sentry 5-Outlet PowerSquid Surge Suppressor.
- Can a power strip be sexy?
The PowerSquid is one of those inventions that works well and looks cool to boot. The idea of solving the wall wart problem seems so simple, and yet why did it take this long for something like this to come out at an affordable price?
The design coup for this item though is outer covering for its inner workings.
The designers could have housed all of the wires and breakers and connections in a black box, but this unit has these sexy curves that look and feel right. When you hang the item on the wall, cords flowing down, it looks like a squid - GENIUS!
I like it because it looks good, it does its job and its afordable. Very Cool!
- Although the PowerSquid looks like a prop from "War of the World" it is a great design for a PowerStrip/SurgeProtector. The construction is extremely sturdy since it is made of a very heavy rubber material. Wall worts will not be a problem with this design either.
The only problem I am having is finding a good permanent location to mount the long and bulky PowerSquid. I normally mount power strips to the inside or outside legs of my computer desk, but such a placement of this device would make it difficult to see the 3, slightly recessed, surge protector indicator lights. Now that I have my own PowerSquid I will be throwing my other powerstrips into the trash and buying a couple more of these monsters. I consider this a very good buy.
- I love this product...I have 3 in my house. It is great to get the plugs away from the wall when the outlet is in an inconvenient spot and great for lots of bulky power chargers! Also it has a surge suppressor...make sure to get the one with it, they also sell them without it.
- I really like power squids. They are great for electronics, particularly when you have several "wall wart" type supplies that need to be plugged in. With a regular power strip, "wall warts" often take up 2-3 plugs greatly limiting a power strips effectiveness. This works around the issue. The only downside is that this is slightly bulkier than a power strip. If you have the room or the need, I still highly recommend this over a power strip due to ease of use and availability of all outlets.
Just make sure you are getting the Surge Supressor version. Not all versions have surge supression.
- This is the answer; to powering all those peripheral's power adapters, especially for your computer.
Whoever designs the peripheral power adapters seems to think that their products power is the only one that is important.
I hate using a standard surge protector and have only 3 or 4 things plugged in, because some bonehead's plug-in takes up 2 places on the strip.
This squid works well for those situations.

5 comments about Belkin TuneCast Auto with ClearScan for iPod, iPhone 1G, 3G.
- Terrible product, and nothing to do with phone interference, which is what most people are worried about when buying FM Transmitters for the 3G. The only positive is that it charges the phone, but you can pick up a straight charger for under 20 bucks. It was litterally unusable, and I've always used FM transmitters with my ipods, and am not picky when it comes to them. I can usually handle the minor static associated with these devices, BUT this one can not hold a signal. It wouldn't take over a single channel on my radio, if you were lucky enough to find a station it worked on, that luck ran out before the song was over.
- Product shipped quickly and arrived in a timely manner. Unfortunately the product itself was deffective and would not charge my iPod while it was transmitting. Thankfully Belkin has an excellent RMA program where they send you the replacement before you send them the busted one.
All in all a good transaction since the replacement works great. Clearscan is an awesome feature that is very helpful for finding free stations.
- Got it because its the only fm transmitter that will charge my 3g iPhone. It replaced my monster icar play 200. The best thing about this is the clear scan works in 1sec. However it seems to work like a random number generator, not actually picking a station it will work good on. I live outside Portland Maine, so its not exactly a big city. My car has an antenna in the rear window. If I don't orient the display just right I get static. But If I get it in just the right spot it sounds fairly good, with a little static on the quiet parts of the music. It will over power some very weak signals, but mostly it gets overpowered. I get a warning message to goto airplane mode. If anyone knows a mod to this thing to boost the power I would like to know.
- I was very disappointed when I discovered that my 3G iPhone did not work with my Kensington. I opted for the Belkin because at the time it was the only available FM tuner product. I purchased and first used the Belkin TuneCast in Ann Arbor and the metro Detroit area. Unfortunately Ann Arbor/Detroit has almost no free FM spots on the dial. The TuneCast identified some free stations but did not always seem to work. Often I found myself manually looking for stations. As for clarity I can say that the Belkin worked fine as long as there were no other radio stations in the vicinity. I'm fortunate as I live in Europe where there are no where near as many radio station as in the US. My Belkin works perfectly here producing very clear and nice sound. If you plan on using the Belkin TuneCast in an area that does not have too many radio stations, you might want to give the TuneCast a try.
- I've had very mixed results with this, but the overall results have not been good enough to convince me to keep it. In cities, the ClearScan feature never seemed to land on an "open" station and the static was unbearable, to the point where I couldn't even tell what song was playing. Additionally, buildings, geographic features, and even buses caused interference with the reception. I've also taken this transmitter on road trips, where it performed quite well, especially on long, open stretches of lonely highway. When driving long distances, I found that I could leave the Tunecast on one station for several hours with a clear enough signal to listen to spoken audiobooks. Nevertheless, as most of my driving is in an urban area, I traded the Tunecast for a Griffin itrip, which seems to work much better.

3 comments about DURACELL AA24 PROCELL Professional Alkaline Battery (DURACELL AA24PROCELL).
- I've been using 2 of these batteries in my walkman for 10 hours now and they are still going very strong. It's living up to its reputation as described so far.
- I know of these kind of batteries because when I worked a telemetry floor as a nurse and ICU we used them on the patients' portable monitors. They last long and are great!
- These batteries are a very good choice for an inexpensive alkaline. Heavy duty batteries, are not cost effective because although cheaper, they have a very short run time. To get the best bang for your buck, go for alkalines like these.
The "Procell" designation is basically Duracell's way of marking these batteries as ones intended for industrial applications. They make them as a separate line so they won't directly compete with their consumer lines.
My experience is that these batteries do not last quite as long as the top consumer lines from Duracell and Energizer. However, they are within 10-20% (depending on the application), and are considerably cheaper. So, they are much more cost effective.
Unless you are using them in an application where it is difficult to change the batteries, I recommend going with these instead of spending more.

5 comments about Skullcandy Hesh Headphones Black/Red.
- Has anyone tried bose headphones, or even heard about them? I have them, and the quality is immense. But this review is not about bose is it? I have tried many skullcandy's and not all of them are perfect. But lemme tell you, these are. Firstly the sound. As i said before it has the amazing rich, strong, clear sound of my bose's, but it also gets x10 louder, and has even better bass and clarity. I listened to Hawthorne Heights 'Ohio is for lovers' to test it out. I play it, and the guitars sound amazingly clear and the bass sounded amazing. I switched it to Linkin Parks 'A Place For My Head', and I couldn't believe all the noises I was missing with my iPod Headphones, and the guitars tone sounded so realistic, I couldn't believe it. The best part is the $45 price tag, compared to some of the popular brands with their $140 headphones, like my boses. Also, the comfort and design amazed me. On the site i thought that the Zebra Pattern (I got the red and black ones) would be ugly, but it matches perfectly, and doesn't 'Stick Out' At all. PLUS THE HEADPHONES FEEL GREAT ON MY HEAD. The silky travel bags a plus too haha. Last but not least, the warranty. Any defects you get the product back free. Any damage caused by ANYTHING, ex. running your skullcandys over with a hummer, will get you %50 off anything in their online store which can cost over $200 at the most i think. This is the best buy I have made in the last two years AT LEAST. Buy this product now if you need headphones. There is no way you can find a better choice!
- Note: I own the Metallica Death Magnetic version.
BUYER BEWARE. This piece of junk is NOT sound canceling, and it can clearly be hear by other people in the room. The quality is below average compared to buds, and rest on the ears weirdly. The "amazing bass quality" that people rave about is sub par. Do not buy, go sony instead.
- hey, this is my moms account, and i am her son. I just recieved my skullcandy hesh literally 10 minutes ago. i gotta say, right out of the box these things are great, the bass pumps through your head and i swear i didn't know some of my songs had inter-symbol parts in them untill i listened with these. as i am wearing them now with NO MUSIC i can barely hear myself typing, these are great noise canceling headphones and they go all the way around my ear.
this kick the crap out of earbuds and i suggest them to all.
peace.
- I just received these headphones like literally 20 minutes ago. and first impressions are great, I love them! i plugged them in and ofcourse the sound was good. on some songs it was less than amazing but thats because the quality of the mp3 isnt that good. Man they look hot thought, they are like the best looking headphones i have ever seen. i have some bose headphones also and i already like these better. i would and probably will recommend them to many people. GO AND BUY THESE HEADPHONES!!!
- Bought this as a gift for my younger brother. Reasonably priced. He really enjoys them. I really liked the colors/fabric of the headphones.

5 comments about Cheetah Mounts APTMMB Tilt Wall Mount for 32"-55" Plasma and LCD Displays.
- I shopped around for weeks looking for a reasonably priced wall mount that was also sturdy enough to hold a large tv. The wall mount was shipped right away, and I believe i recieved it 2 or 3 days after I placed my order. It was not too difficult to assemble, and holds my tv great. I have had no problems with this product.
- i bought this mount to hold my 42 inch samsung lcd. recieved the product very quick after i ordered. and was able to install mount in about an hour.came with basic instructions and screws you need to put up. for the price you cant beat, sturdy and looks good.
- If you buy a flat-panel TV at one of the big-box stores, they're going to try to sell you a wall-mount costing $200 or more. Don't do it. This mount is affordable, made of high-quality materials, and has a pretty good range of adjustment when it comes to tilting the screen to the right angle for your room. I hung my 46-inch Samsung LCD, and I don't worry about it a bit -- it's very secure, and was simple to install.
- This is a very good mounting device. Its to assemble and fits nearly any tv. It worked great for my 42in Polaroid LCD. The only knock to not get five stars is that it does not come with screws to attach the mount to the TV.
- No idea why I got an email on this - the seller must be spamming people. But it took me to this link so thought I'd write a negative review. I don't like spam.

5 comments about Microsoft 17" Neoprene Laptop Sleeve.
- I had a tough time finding a laptop case that fit my HP 17.5". This one is a perfect fit - just like a glove. I also am able to add minor items such as paper or even the power charger. I wish the orange color wasn't so bright, but that's irrelevant. It does exactly what I bought it for - in my book that's perfect.
- First I want to say I love my Laptop sleeve, for some reason I do not know why I got two,I do not remember ordering two I sent one back and that all went well I was credited for the bag I sent back but my question is I paid more then I was credited do not know why, this was a question I have never had any problems when ordering from Amazon ever it has been great experence everyone is so kind and helpfull when I have needed help.
The company I got the sleeve from was very nice no problems.
thanks again for your help. and support.
- I bought this sleeve to use with a Gateway P-6860 FX. The large battery sticks out the back of the laptop, but the whole thing squeezes into the sleeve snugly (yes, it zips up). The case is nice and lightweight, and it's great to have the handle to carry it (which many sleeves like the Belkin do not have), because any 17" laptop is going to be pretty heavy. The quality seems very good.
Best of all, the black/orange color scheme matches the Gateway FX series perfectly.
- I was searching for a cheap and durable laptop sleeve for my 17" HP laptop and this is the best match I found. Its a perfect fit and easily slides in my backpack while traveling.
- If you have a Dell XPS M-1710 and you've been searching for a laptop sleeve to fit in with all your friends who have smaller computers, then you've finally found it. Congratulations. Alone, it's enough protection for your notebook, but it can also be fit into a larger bag if that's what you're looking to do.

5 comments about SMK-Link VP4150 RemotePoint Navigator 2.4.
- I used this remote for the first time last week for a presentation and am here looking into buying one. The control, feel, and buttons are great. It feels good in your hand and appears to be reliable.
My only concern is the size of the laser "point" onscreen. It is a bit small. Not bad, but a minor concern.
I had no problems with hitting the "black" button to end the show or to make a point during my presentation. Overall, a solid model.
- Works great. 1st time I used it was on someone else's PC. I had to cover for another person and I just plugged in the USB key, and started flipping through slides from across the room. All the keys worked great.
- I purchased 3 of the Interlink VP4150 RemotePoint Navigator 2.4's for our department. Faculty love using this. It was a great price and easy to use. I have had one of the faculty purchase one on her own after using the departments. Highly recommend.
- I bought this for our department in a large company after a recommendation from another department. The word is spreading about this little gizmo - everyone who uses it loves it. It's simple & gets the job done without hiccups or problems. There are no problems with reliability, either. The folks in our organization who have used it recommend it without reservation.
- I was a little worried that it might not work on Linux (SLED 10), but it does! Love it!

5 comments about Terk Technologies LF-IRX Leapfrog Remote Control Extender.
- I have an older Terk LeapFrog at one house and wanted to install something similar at our vacation home. The older model doesn't appear to be available anymore so I figured this product would work as well (since it's made by the same company), if not better (since it's newer). I figured wrong. The old LeapFrog works immediately and everytime; the emitter doesn't even need to point at the product it's controlling, just being in the same enclosed cabinet is enough. On this newer product I can't seem to get it to work reliably unless I hold the remote 24" from the receiver. Oddly enough, after continuing to "bombard" the receiver with IR radiation from the remote it sort of "wakes up", and starts working, until you don't use the remote for a while and then it's back to square one. The vacation home is in a remote area and the only other wireless devices in the house are a 5.8GHz cordless phone, and a 802.11g router on another floor in the opposite corner of the house. I have the same wireless devices at the "older LeapFrog home" and the same 802.11g router sits next to it. The receiver and emitter in the "newer LeapFrog home" are about 3 linear feet from each other. I'm baffled that Terk could take a simple product that worked great 4 years ago, and through the marvel of engineering incompetence, make it worse.
- Took about 5 minutes to set up. I'm flummoxed as to why anyone would have trouble setting up/using this. Plug the sending & receiving units in & attach the repeater(s). I'm using it to control the DirecTV DVR in the living room that feeds the signal in my bedroom - works flawlessly every time. Never had a problem at all. It was *extremely easy* to set up. Couldn't be happier (especially at this price point)!
As an aside to everyone who is having trouble aiming their remote at the sending unit - make sure it's oriented correctly. The unit must be placed with the slim end (opposite of the end with the power attachment) exposing the red plastic for IR reception. Not very intuitive - especially since it looks similar to some indoor TV antennas which are usually oriented with the logo exposed (as in the picture for this item).
- A refreshing change from most software-heavy products these days which require at least 15 minutes of "configuration".
Works great, no problems, used with Yamaha stereo/receiver.
- Decent product, but sunlight and or distance seems to make it a little fickle, be willing to change the location of the receiver.
- I installed the units approx. a month ago. They work as advertised over a distance of ~30 feet and through two walls and one floor. All the remotes I use worked well. I found the transmitter had to be less than 5 feet from the controlled units but this may be do to the glass doors on my equipment tower. The only thing I wish were available is additional receivers.

- I've had this charger for a year now, no issues. It does just what it should, works great and charges the iPhone while in the car with no problem. A good buy.
- Vortex Cable sent it super fast & I got in a couple days. I use it with my iPhone & it works great. It really is a RAPID charger. I like the cable on it because the cord is tight and compact, but can stretch when I want to talk while it is plugged it.I am sooo glad I paid this price instead of 40 for the something that does one thing-charge! I highly recommend it!
