5 comments about Kenwood KCA-iP500 iPod® Control Interface Control your iPod with your Kenwood receiver.
  1. Although I realized it was an interface for the headunit, I didn't expect to be so limited with my control. It was rather disappointing. It was very difficult to control anything via headunit and I found myself spending hours searching for a song. Eventually I found it easiest to select a playlist before hand and then just plug it in from there. The interface then resumes the song to whatever it was playing onto the headunit. This was the only real way to control what I was listening to. The only real thing I liked about it was the fact that the volume didn't fluctuate as with aux inputs do. I also liked the fact that it charged the ipod. Other than these two reasons, I would stick to an RCA to AUX setup with a car charger or if you dont need your ipod charged as often, RCA to ipod.

  2. This item is the worst.....
You can control your ipod from your headunit on DPX302 but to get from A-Z on your ipod you have to go one by one....this is crazy.
You can not use the ipod to go from one ablum to another because the only thing on the ipod screen is KENWOOD.....this item is the worst!
I also called Kenwood and was told this is the way the model is!!!!!

  3. I was very skeptical about this producting working on my KDC-MP4032 system, but it worked perfect on the ipod touch. Took me about 20 minutes to hook up. The cords are pretty long in my Honda Accord but that was not a problem. The only areas i could not use on the touch where the video and music section. The equalizer on the touch worked together with the system. I could not find any cons. Great product.

  4. Accesses not only your albums but your playlists as well. Can search by artist, album, playlist, purchased. And charges while you listen.

5 comments about Belkin Auto Charger for iPod (White).
  1. This cable does everything I wanted it to do. The sound quality is leaps and bounds better than using a 3.5mm cable through the headphone jack. I really like the built-in adjustable amplifier. The cord comes out of the connector at a 90° angle from the iPod. It takes a little getting used to, but it wasn't enough to dock it a star. I haven't experienced any ground-loop humming/buzzing with our '08 Accord sedan. It has integrated seamlessy into my setup. Overall I am very satisfied.

  2. Product is exactly what I needed now I can keep my IPOD charged and use the Aux input on my car without having to have two cables going to my IPOD. Aux is so so much better than a FM input! In addition to this product you will need a male/male aux input cable $6.99 at Radio Shack. The Aux cable plugs into the cigarette adapter end of the Belkin product and then will need to be run or tied into your Aux input. In my car the Aux input and charger plug are right next to each other so it was very easy! Volume control on the Belkin product allows you to get the right input level to match other radio settings and avoid distortion.

  3. This product works great for iPods and the original iPhone. But note that it won't charge the new iPhone 3G. You can play music from the 3G through the Belkin, but it won't charge. This is because, as I understand it, the 3G is the first iPod/iPhone product that will only charge via the USB lines in the Dock Connector. But the Belkin still uses the older Firewire lines for charging.

  4. This product works pretty good...........when it's not broken. The wiring came apart on the first one I owned. Belkin has a lifetime warranty so I returned it for another one that now won't stay connected to the cigarette lighter and I see no way of fixing it.

  5. I purchased this product 4 years ago to use with my iPod in my Chevy Silverado. I have used it pretty much on a daily basis since then. Well, as much use as I get out of the device (plug it in, unplug it, plug in, unplug it...) it has finally given out. The dock connector has become loose, and therefore causes my iPod to pause whenever I hit a bump. Luckily, Belkin offers a Lifetime Warranty on their quality products. I just got off their website after requesting a new unit to be sent to me. All I have to do is pay for shipping to return the old unit. Unbelievable!! And to think I almost bought a brand new one!! Anyway, I expect the replacement to last as long or longer than the original. Also, as has been stated in other reviews already, use the included 3.5mm jack (rather than the iPod earphone jack) to route your music directly into the stereo. You will get crystal clear amplified sound, and you will only need one wire to plug into the iPod.

5 comments about Belkin Sport Armband Plus for iPod touch 1G (Midnight Blue).
  1. I got this armband about a month back, and it's already broken. It was difficult to put on. And there is this small metal (maybe aluminum) loop that holds the band together. Unfortunately, this metal loop is thin. After about a month of use (I use it at the gym about 2-3 times a week), the metal loops breaks, and now the armband is useless.

Now I'm here shopping for a better armband.

  2. I love this product. It works very well when I am out running.
The IPod stays in place and the cord does not dangle.

  3. I like this iPod holder. I like that it has a way of holding your headphones so that the wire doesn't get tangled. It is a little bit tricky to get it on (no velcro-premade "loops" to hook into) but once on, it is very comfortable and stays put! I'd buy another!

  4. On the second day of using it the plastic face cover began to peel away. This is all that holds the ipod in place, so I cannot use this for a run since it's likely that by use number 3 this thing will fall apart completely. It seems the manufacturers felt holding this thing together with little more than double sided tape would do the trick, not so. The metal hook used to attach this is a joke and next to impossible to use. To make matters worse I cannot return this piece of junk because I redeemed "points" from Pepsi to purchase it. Lovely.

  5. The armband is hard to put on. It does not have a velcro armband, it has a metal latch. Also, the material is not very elastic so it is difficult to get it to stay on. Also, the slit that you slide the ipod down in is not designed well, made of cheap material, and started ripping the very first time I used it.

5 comments about Avery 3279 Inkjet Dark T-Shirt Transfers.
  1. This paper is expensive for 5 sheets, but I pretty much expect that, what I didn't expect was the final results to be so poor / mediocre. I tried ironing on very carefully as per the instructions and the design was inconsistent with one area brighter white and the rest very dark apparently from the white ink flowing into black printed areas by the motion of the iron so I thought I should pay to get the future designs heat pressed straight on. The result was a whole image that while visible was consistent grey throughout the image where white parts should be and a darkening of all colors. Not very good, even if better than a light T-shirt transfer on black shirt. Very mediocre result. Also i noticed this paper had a tendency to fight a bit with the printer messing up the first sheet I did and causing other sheets to have whole design rotated different to the angle of the paper. The backing is also very, very difficult to remove unless you gently tear the paper on an edge. Not nearly as good as the reviews, description or example on the packaging had lead me to believe, the white will almost never will be true white with this paper.

  2. Avery 3279 Inkjet Dark T-Shirt Transfers

Overpriced and way too difficult to use. Following the instructions exactly regarding timing, the first image burned. Could not fully remove it, so the item was ruined. Could not then separate the backing from any of the remaining four sheets, so the entire package of transfers was wasted. Considering the price, it seems reasonable to expect that the backing would have pullable tabs like a band-aid to enable separation without smudging the design or otherwise destroying the transfer.

  3. I researched for a good iron on transfer paper to make my own graphic tees and saw that this one was the most popular. I used this to make a graphic tee on a white shirt (even though this is for dark t-shirts) and it came out PERFECT and was so easy to use.

    I highly recommend this product.

  4. My sons school does not sell shirts for soccer team fans so I bought these to make my own shirts. They worked wonderfully. I got tons of comliments on how the shirts turned out. The colors were bright and really stood out. These iron ons are also easy to use for the most part adn I would have given them 5 stars but these sheets required you to peel off the backing and it was very difficult to get it off.

  5. Some people are saying that the colors bleed through dark colored shirts but this only happens when you're applying too much heat or applying the heat for too long.

I know this because I ironed on a larger image, but incidentally I ironed the print unevenly. The outside boarders had the original color of the print rather than colors that bled.

I recommend either turning down the heat a bit or ironing the image more rapidly.

    Good luck and happy printing/ironing.

2 comments about PDO Screen Protectors for Apple iPhone 3G (2-pack).
  1. PDO sells this item for the ipod but when used with the iphone there is a problem.
The iphone has sensors at the top left of the display that detect your face & ear. The iphone must 'know' when using the phone. This screen protector interferes with the sensors so that the iphone disables the button and the touch screen and makes the iphone totally unresponsive. When the sensors work and the iphone detects that you have moved the iphone away from your ear, the touchscreen becomes responsive again. It took me a while to figure this out. I punched some holes in the protector to let the sensors work.

  2. These screen covers are great! They are a perfect fit and are truly invisible. Some screen protectors are dull and old looking...I think for anti-glare. But these are just like the original screen. They are very easy to apply (come with detailed instructions) and also come with a microfiber cleaning cloth. My fiance said he didn't want a cover because the ones he's seen are ugly. I put the extra one I received on his phone, so he doesn't ruin his screen, still to this day he hasn't noticed it's on there. A perfect accessory for a perfect phone ;)

  1. Sorry, but these headphones are junk. They have about as much base as a worn out pellet gun. They're comfy and stay on well while running, but you would honestly get better sound from a pair of speakers plugged into your ipod and strapped to your waist. Thin, tinny sound, just awful.

  2. I have smallish ears and ear canals and can't use these things. I'd had a set of MX-75 for 1.5 years which were a decent fit , good sound quality and good for workouts as sweat didn't seal them as all other buds I'd tried did. The 75's were retired when the wires had broken right outside the plug, the self-tangling cords were an irritant, too much twist, too sticky! but they had survived ~500 uses. So I'd assumed that these would have the same size transducer cage and roughly the same fit , but apparently not. the OMX-70s have a larger metal cage and won't go into my ear properly even with the ear clip's rotation, extension and springiness . Phooey!

  3. This is an excellent headphone for working out. On average, I jog 6 miles 5 days a week and so far, this headphone had worked just fine. The quality of sound you get out of it is not the greatest, but it will do for now.

  4. I got the product right on time and the product is in perfect shape, if i ever need to buy something else, i will look here first.

  5. After reading a number of reviews some from other sites I believed these were a nice set up. Well not true, not only do they NOT fit in your ears but try working out and lying down, they fall out of your ears completely. For the cost the cheapies that came with my mp3 player are far superior to these.

  1. These headphones really feel secure when I'm running. I like how the cable comes out the back so I don't have to worry about it getting snagged on a branch if I'm on a trail. I'd give them 5 stars except that they sometimes come loose when I turn my head too far to the left or right (This my have to do with my longer than average neck, though).

  2. I just received this in the mail today. They are very light, but when I wear them as I think they're meant to be worn, they don't stay in my ears at all. However, my mom suggested that I try wearing them a different way (with the side marked "R" on my left ear, the side marked "L" on my right ear, and the curved parts hooked over each ear - so basically back-to-front and upside-down), and this seems to work far better. No joke. They don't fall out at all. They're still a tad bit uncomfortable, but they seem like they'd actually work pretty well for running. I'm still not sure if the "L"/"R" markings are misplaced and the headphones are actually supposed to be worn this way or not. So give it a shot the other way, maybe that'll work for you too.

  3. I bought these for running primarily due to the cord design. The cord does stay out of your way quite nicely. The sound quality is about what you'd expect in a set of headphones of the price. However, the headphones would not stay in my ears for longer than a couple of minutes. Perhaps I have big ears, but a set of adjustable sized ear plugs would have been ideal. If they fit in your ears, they are a good deal. However, I've sent them back and am again looking for a pair that comes with adjustable sized ear plugs.

  4. I hate earbuds so these really do work well, especially when running. The upside is they're comfortable and durable, especially for the $$. The downside is that I'm on my 4th set in about 4 years. Unfortunately, one side ends up shorting out over time (about a year), and there is nothing you can do about it but replace them. For me, it's a no brainer. There's nothing else on the market for the price that's worked as well. The sound quality is good and I'm happy with the product...as long as they work. When it shorts out, I just purchase another set.

  5. These headphones are awesome they keep the cord out from in front of you and they give good quality sound. my only complaint was that it didnt feel right when you wear them how you're supposed to. they always felt like they werent all the way in or they were gonna fall out. they work better if you wear them upside down but with the cord still behind your neck.

  1. Received the cable promptly, and it has worked without flaw for the past two weeks.

I have no complaints - it is the perfect length for connecting my sony LCD Bravia 52" to my closet of home theater goodies. Easy to hide such a long length of cable.

There is no difference in picture quality relative to other premium 1.5m and 2m cables that I have used with the same equipment setup prior to this purchase. I watch (and adore) the Blu-Ray version of the BBC documentary _Planet Earth_, and it renders fantastically at 1080p.

If you need a 5 meter cable, get this one unless you can find it cheaper someplace else. It's worth what I paid (<$30).

  2. I used this to connect my "HD Ready" projection TV (DVI) with my AV receiver (HDMI). I works just fine. The long length was very helpful. Price was very affordable especially considering what some of the name-brand companies are gouging people for.

  3. Cable came right on time and is a robust cable of top quality. Despite its length, which allows me to sit on my couch and project my computer onto my 58" Plasma HDTV across the room, the signal is perfect. And the result is stunning -- my slide shows and videos are crystal clear. I recommend this cable and this provider.

  4. I used this cable to connect a Denon AVR-888 receiver with HDMI output to a 4 year old Sony plazma TV with DVI input. The video signal is very good even running Blu-Ray through a Sony PlayStation 3. You can spend more on cables but there's no need.

  5. Good solid performance, did everything automatically, i was connecting my macbook pro to my samsung ln40a550 HDTV and the picture is perfect. No complaints here :)

  1. This combo pack is great, there are two each of three different types of connections. You may not need them all, but this is a great pack to have on hand - just in case.

  2. This item was a series of short extension cords that allowed me to connect multiple wall-warts to the same UPS. They met my exact need, and the cables were of good quality.

  3. Great combination of these extenders. Also, both the "normal" plug and the "pass-thru" plug types do fit just fine in power strips. The only thing I can think of to make it better would be to also vary the lengths a little bit so that you can choose the optimal one for each situation.

  4. What can you say about something so simple? You would think that these little extensions would be readily available but they are not. It seems that every electronic devise I buy has a big block on the plug that most outlets can't properly handle. These little extension cords solve that problem and they are well made. Get more than you think you want because you will need them.

  5. Kill-a-Watt Caution. I checked with the shipper and this cord has a lower power rating than the Kill-a-Watt you may be using it with. To avoid over-heating the cord be sure not to use with refrigerator, washer, dryer, air conditioner or other large power using appliance. Kill-a-Watt is rated 15 amps (1875 VA) and this cord is smaller, about 1/2 the amount of the Kill-a-Watt. We want you to be safe and avoid the classic "extension cord fire" from over-heating a cord.
