1 comments about SONY MDR-EX75/BQ EX Earbuds Headphones with Hi-Sensitivity Driver (Black).
  1. I bought the SONY MDR-EX75/BQ EX Earbuds Headphones for my husband because the pair that came with his iPod had broken. After much review searching, I went with these because of their high rating on Sound & Fit. My husband Loves them! He said "What a difference in the sound"! He also loves how they fit (three sizes to choose from). These are Great Earbuds!

3 comments about 8 in 1 8in1 car wireless FM Transmitter+Car Charger +Holder/Dock+REMOTE for iPod Touch Classic Nano 3G Mini Video Photo Apple iPhone 3G MP3 Player (Compatible with iPhone 3G) (Charges iPhone 3G).
  1. Decent item, but the description says the charger works and has been tested with the iPhone 3G.

What it doesn't say is that it that you will get a message stating that it will only work in AIRPLANE MODE. Click "NO" to NOT go into AIRPLANE mode and it wil work fine anyway.

Also, you can skip connecting the charging piece and only connect the sound/headphone output to the FM transmitter -- it works fine as well.

  2. i like this product and works great with my 3G iPhone and the sound is excellent, but it sticks out of my cigarette lighter making it difficult to shift the transmission in my Ford Explorer Sporttrac. If you want to buy this you might want to make sure the cigarette lighter is not too close to the transmission. The remote control that comes in the package is worthless.

  3. I have three complaints regarding this device:

    (1) The part of the device that plugs into the car's cigarette lighters (i.e. outlets) is a rigid plug extending from the back of the device. This means that if your cigarette lighters are tucked into corners, gloveboxes, etc., the device cannot be plugged into your car. You need a wide, unobstructed approach coming into your outlet. Check out the pictures I added to the product description - you'll see what I mean.

    (2) I live in an urban area where MANY radio stations broadcast FM signals. There is only one spot on the dial that is essentially unused, and therefore available to the device. The sound quality in this one open spot is not that great - some static carries through. Perhaps we will get better transmission on our drives into rural areas of the country.

    (3) While the device claims to be compatible with iPhone 3G, it is not an Apple supported device. Consequences? (a) Your iPhone gets forced into Airplane Mode when you connect to the device. (b) You get warnings about it being an unsupported device, and (c) The battery charging icon does not indicate that charging is actually occurring. (No giant green battery on the front screen.) All this gives me the heebie-jeebies, but perhaps that's just what Apple wants me to feel. We paid a lot for our iPhones 3G, and using unsupported gear makes me nervous.

A redesign of the plug on the back would solve the fit problem, but not the issue of it being an unsupported product.

Be sure to check the vendor's return policy before choosing this for your car. You may need to send the device back!

5 comments about PS2 To USB Keyboard Adapter M/f.
  1. OK, folks, listen up. There are two kinds of USB - PS/2 adapters. There's this kind, which simply changes one plug for another. It doesn't do any signal processing at all - it's just a dumb plug changer. For most of you, this will not work, because in order to use a PS/2 keyboard with a USB plug in the back of your computer, your adapter needs to change the signal somewhat. That's why you see the more expensive adapters - about $12 to $15. Those have circuitry inside them that actually changes the PS/2 output of your keyboard into a signal that the USB input of your computer will recognize. I learned this the hard way, too.

  2. received adapter on time and had it installed in seconds and worked as advertised. I will be bying more of these adapters in the future. Amazon was great

  3. Though I have a keyboard that should meet the standards for this device, which are that it is designed to work either as PS2 or USB and that it came with an adaptor, this simply did not work.

  4. I purchased 20 of these devices to convert PS2 Russian keyboards for a language classroom. We purchased new Dells that no longer have PS2 ports. Since the keyboards are so expensive, we decided to purchase converters instead of adding the PS2 board. I tried 6 of the converters on 4 different Dell computers and every USB port on the PCs. If it was detected at all, I received an error that it wasn't going to work properly and, sure enough, the keyboards weren't recognized. So I sent them back to Amazon and purchased dual splitters instead - and they worked perfectly. I have to comment that Amazon was a joy in the return process. I've never had to return anything before. I've always been hesitant about purchasing certain items for fear of the return process in the event I wasn't happy. But, this experience has proved to me that I don't have to worry. Thank you Amazon!!!

  5. It converts PS2 to USB could not find this product at Radio Shack Best Buy or CompUSA, thank you internet shopping!

5 comments about iSnug iPod Armband.
  1. Fits the classic or the nano and it works. It stays on tight enough while i'm walking and easy to take off. You can change the song just fine and its cheaper than going to Target or the mac store to get one.

  2. Ok for the average runner and or jogger. Not really great to use at the gym though. The holder moves around too much not keeping the ipod stationary.

  3. This product is terrible. The iPod stays in the flexible pouch fine, but the material the pouch is made from is too flexible and the armband is only held on by a small and narrow piece of bungee fabric. This results in the iPod swaying all over the place because the band does not have a wide enough stance and the pouch material is too flexy. That in turn resulted in the stitching coming apart because it moved around so much. All in all, I give it a poor review. It's fine if you don't move around much (fine if you're lifting weights), but it's terrible for running. I can't even wear it around my arm anymore because of all the jostling, which means I don't wear it at all and I wasted $20.

  4. Quickly delivered. Could have been more description of the product on Amazon, but overall I was very statisfied.

  5. This is for an older I Pod. It is thicker than the newer ones. It is great for holding the IPod during a work out.

  1. The software is some what cumbersom to use and doesn't offer some of those little things we enjoy like spell check. The card stock is what it is. And it is card stock that is perfectly perferated so that all you have to do is fold and tear and slide it into your dvd case (cut one side if using slim dvd case). That is what I like most about this paper. Print and rip. You don't have to use a cutting board or try cutting a straight line with scissors. The down side is that it is a thicker card stock, the sort used when you print your resume and use paper that is a bit more than just plain paper. The prints are certainly not the quality you get when you buy a dvd, but hey when your burning dvds and stealing cover art from the internet. Why not? They do look slick.

  2. I am a videographer who is expanding to provide custom covers to my DVD creations. These are NOT of high quality. If you want to catalog your families trips or store something, they'll be fine, but really, they are pretty cheap. You have to download the software, which is a bad deal for those with dial up. They'll work, but I'll buy higher quality next time.

  3. Memorex provides free download software to use with these inserts. What they don't tell you is the case inserts paper size is A4. I have used these for about three years now and have created hundreds on perfect inserts on both HP and Brothers printers. The only errors were my own. Be sure the paper in loaded properly and paper guide is properly adjusted. Be sure the printer knows the proper paper size, A4 for DVD inserts and Letter for disc labels. Other poto paper setting works best. Enjoy your personalized inserts and display with pride.

  4. Exactly what I (wanted)needed in the nick of time. Great service, great price. I'll be back.

  5. These Memorex case inserts are a great quality item and the Amazon price is fractional to what you would pay in the store. I use free software from Memorex and it is awesome quality software that really allows creative control to print these inserts exactly as you want them.

  1. Contrary to the written product description and what the customer service reps at Magellan will tell you, this item is NOT compatible with a number of Magellan Maestro models if you're hoping to uprade one to include Canada. Don't waste your time (a significant consideration, insofar as the software involves the most complex download process I have ever experienced) or money.

5 comments about Compact Flash Reader Writer.
  1. This little device works like a charm. It enables you to have a CF reader on your laptop and it appears faster then using a USB connection from my Sony A300 DLSR.

I bought it because I wanted to save juice on my camera for only taking pictures, not transferring them. It's a nice option to have when your on holiday. You take backups of your CF card and you save power on the camera.

The only problems I have with it is the following:

    a) It doesn't sit flush against the side of my Dell XPS 1330. It protrudes a couple of millimeters, just enough to notice.

    b) When it's in the ExpressCard slot, it's "active" as a removable media/storage device in Explorer without the CF card being inserted.

    c) Having the ExpressCard inserted, for some reason disables my SD/MS slot on the laptop. I will have to remove the ExpressCard reader from the slot, before I can insert another media into my laptop.

    d) It's a bit "tricky" to insert a CF card into the ExpressCard reader, but not too much

    e) When you insert the CF card, you will have to push it it firmly to have it engage into the reader. This sometimes makes the whole ExpressCard disengage from the ExpressCard port. Annoying..

    But hey, it works!

  2. It works just as advertised on a Dell Laptop. The only complaint is minor, it would be nice if there were a blank to protect the slot so that the unit could be left permanently in the computer.

  3. This is a great compact flash reader for your laptop with an expresscard port. I had a little trouble with getting it to lock in, and it still comes out on occasion, but other than that I've had no issues and its a very fast reader.

  4. Used on Windows Vista 64. Drivers were quickly loaded without issue. Fast and reliable.

  5. great product. got this to tranfer files from cf cards i use when shooting wth my 40D and R1. fits almost flush in my hp dv7t, and i can leave it in there.
    the only inconveniences:
it will cause the computer to make an alert like when you connect a new piece of hardware about every minute if there is no cf card in the reader. turning the sound off, i can ignore this slight problem.

it works best if you take the reader out of the expresscard slot to insert a cf card, and then insert both at once. it's quite tricky to get the card to connect with the reader in the slot.

and like someone mentioned before, it will disable your onboard card reader, and may temporarily switch up drive letters assigned to other devices.

other than that, i can't complain about this reader. it is impressively fast, and seems to work even faster on smaller size cards. it transfers a full 1gb card in about 35-40 seconds. a full 4gb card in just under 4 minutes. it does what it is supposed to do- transfer files quickly. very happy with this purchase, and priced right.

  1. Headphone cord for the Bose on-ear model got damaged so called customer service. They took my name and address, looked up my account and sent a replacement cord next day UpS no charge. They now have a customer for life.

  2. damn this things are amazing, i put off buying these for a while because YES, They are very expensive, however i decided to buy them about 2 weeks ago and they are amazing, i dont even miss the money!!!! everything sounds absolutely fantastic with these, bass is superb and so are the mids and highs, crystal clear sound. they seem sturdy enough to carry around but the carry case is portable enough if you wish to carry them in your backpack to skool or work or watever. You will not regret buying these babies they are fantastic. it is also worth mentioning that they are not noise cancelling but because of the super-confortable memory foam cushion material that adapt to the shape of your ears, THEY DO BLOCK OUT ALOT OF OUTSIDE NOISE, i live in NY so blocking out traffic, horns, and people screaming on the streets is essential, and these sets brings all of those obsructions down to super minimum volume. 100% RECOMMENDED.

p.s: if you are upgrading from those terrible ipod headphones you are in for one BIG improvement here, you will not believe the sound!!!

  3. i've tried a few sets of headphones, and fell in love with these. i bought them mainly for travel (planes, etc.) They sound great, block out plenty of noise on an airplane, are very lightweight and you can barely feel them on your head, so they're incredibly comfortable to wear for long stretches. The parts that go on your ears fold inwards to become compact and flat, and take up very little room in my carry-on. Also, the cord is detachable... it comes with two different length cords to choose from. I'm so, so happy i found these. they're not cheap, but worth every penny, in my opinion.

  4. These On-ear Triports are like the QuietComfort 3 headphones, but the difference is it does not have the noise cancelling technology, cost less than half the price, and sounds almost as good as the QuietComfort 3, but not better, which is perfect for me because I already have the QuietComfort 2 headphones that I love and could not justify paying the higher price for the QuietComfort 3 when the tech specs for the the QuietComfort 2 were better. In fact the QuietComfort 2 battery lasts for 40hrs and is easily replaceable compared to QuietComfort 3 battery which lasts 25hrs, but the battery is not easily replaceable. The only advantages QuietComfort 3 had was the Size, design, fit, and probably comfort due to the memory foam ear-cup that adjusts to the shape of your ears and is like having an ear massage, which is a feature the Bose On-ear triports have too.

Anyway I plugged these headphones into my Zune and the sound was amazing without burn-in, but that is probably because my Zune has gotten used to Bose audio engineering from headphones. In fact I also own the Bose In-ear headphones that I use on my Zune.

Tip: To reduce burn-in time listen to music from your MP3 player or audio device without EQ or anything that electronically alters the audio signal sent to the headphones because these headphones work as advertised and produce life like sound.

  5. Im completely satisifed with my purchase. Rate i still feel to be bit high when compared to other brands. But the Brand Bose made me to take this aside. It is very light and don feel like wearing it even after long hours. It reduces noise by almost 50 percentage by jst wearing it. Awesome design and sound quality. Nothing to complain abt.

  1. Good product, but if you live in a big city, the FM transmitter is less effective.

  2. Great product!! I love it! cheap and useful.
My car's radio doesn't have the best quality, but sounds fine, and with this pack I can listen all the music in my Zune (80gb, 2nd generation) and in my mother's one (8gb, 2nd generation), with the same quality of a CD.

TIP: get the rubber skin or anything you have to protect the zune removed before plugging the FM Transmitter, because with the skin the Transmitter doesn't stays steady. (At the beginning I leaved negative feedback because of this, latter I realized the problem wasn't the Car Pack, was the rubber skin)
    I totally recommend it!

  3. I wish I listened to all the other review but I thought I was smarter than them, turns out I wasn't. I should have just saved up money to upgrade the stereo system with an auxiliary port (google it if you don't know what that is) and I would get the best sound quality possible.

  4. I bought the pack with my 80gb Zune. I love the Zune, I regret the FM transmiter. First, I have to take my Zune out of my leather holder so I can plug in the transmitter. The plug never really feels that secure to begin with. Second, the best audio I can get still contains about 50% static. The quality of the sound/signal seems to be dependant on the orientation of the transmitter, and I don't exactly have a lot of options as to where I can place it in my car. I take long road trips (up to 5-6 hours) almost daily for my job. I was hoping to use my Zune as my own personal radio station. Having to find a new station to tune ever 2 hours or so is very annoying and a bigger pain the trying to dial my cell phone while driving. I've given up and just use the headphones, with the car adapter plugged in for power.
I highly recommend find a transmitter with a stronger signal output.

  5. The transmitter SUCKS....I have to have one hand on my zune pointing directly at my sterio the entire time I drive..soooo annoying. I'm thinking about making bunny ears for it and maybe it will work better... I know its not my sterio because my friend has an ipod and itrip and it works perfect. The only thing it does do good is charge - no problems there.

  1. This cable worked flawlessly. It seems like a heavy duty cable. I purchased a 30 Ft cable off of Ebay and it was thin and did not work. Kept lossing color and sound. This one from Cablesonline worked great, nice clear perfect picture. If you need a lot of cable don't hesitate, pick this one up or any other cable this company sells. Nice quality for a fair price.
