5 comments about Memorex CD/DVD Sleeves Paper with Window Cut-Out & Back Flap (50-Pack).
  1. These CD/DVD sleeves are very sturdy, and serve well the purpose of keeping CDs/DVDs protected. I have used these sleeves, heretofore, and will continue to use them in the future.

  2. These sleeves are just what I needed and work fine.
My only complaint is that I ordered them about a month ago at a price of a little over $3.00 per fifty. This last order they had doubled in price. Could have bought them locally a lot cheaper.

  3. It's just sleeves...and can be no better than sleeves..:) At least, they're in a good quality, a reasonable price, save more spaces and I like the larger than usual window design...PS: The shipping is amazingly fast. I got it the day after it's shipped, and it's only a day after I ordered it.

  4. These CD sleeves are great to hold CD's or DVD's that you are transporting or that you are just keeping around the house. I always have CD's laying around my car or my backpack, so these are a great way to keep them from getting scratched. There isn't much too them --they are what they are. But at a good price on Amazon, they will save on the cost of replacing scratched CD's.

  5. I'm not sure what you'd really want in a cd sleeve. it works, and they're cheap. I got 150 and haven't seen a bad quality one yet.

5 comments about Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia Headphones.
  1. So I bought a pair of these, and they lasted for about half a year. Then one of the earbuds mysteriously died. Granted I used them for my ipod and at work - but was never brutal to them.

I bought a 2nd pair and like clockwork, 5-6 months later, the right earbud died on them.

I guess you get what you pay for - a $20 pair of headphones that last 6 months. I guess for the price, it's not too bad.

Would love though to find a pair of similar design - that last more than 6 months. :(

Gave this a 3 b/c while they worked, they were nice. But since they only last 6 months, not worthy of more stars.

  2. Great little ear buds for the price. I bought these to replace my outside phones when near noisy places and they are a vast improvement. Outside sound is blocked to the point where a loud TV can still be herd but very muffled. Sound quality seems slightly less bright then some more expensive models but still very usable. The three bud sizes supplied range from very small to humungous so they will probably will fit most everyone. They are very soft silicone so are comfortable to wear with no tendency to fall out. The jack is "L" shaped and much less subject to brakeage than the models that project straight out. The little capsule shaped storage container does protect the ear wax covered buds from collecting nasty lint and grit from your pockets. Using it is a no brainer, simply put them inside and wrap the cord around the outside: done. Two points; The different length leads for left and right are designed to hang off to the side for iPod use but just get in the way on my computer and a sliding volume control, like on my Pavilion ear buds, would have really been handy. All things considered a very usable set.

  3. I liked these until the coating on the wires began turning to mush and started flaking/peeling off...which of course rendered the product useless after that. I'm a fairly light user, too. Just a couple of nights at the gym for a hour or so. Try something else. You won't be disappointed initially because these feel and sound good but you will be when they fall apart and stop working before their time. What a waste!

  4. I didn't look at any reviews before these earbuds were purchased for me. I saw them in a store, they looked similar to some more expensive white Sony earbuds I had but thought it would be great to get black ones to match my black nano. 6 months later, the right side doesn't work. I didn't have any wires disconnect, no cord disintigrating, just no sound on the right side anymore. 6 months is not a long time, these don't go outside, they don't travel, they only were used 30 minutes 4 times a week on a treadmill. Sorry to say, but I now have to steal my white earbuds back from my daughter because these ones were a complete waste of my money. I don't like wasting money. I'm sad.

  5. I searched for an excellent set of earbuds to use with my iPod, found them with these MDR-EX51LP, and have been delighted to use them several hours each day under demanding conditions.
Because I listen to uncompressed digital recordings to facilitate deep meditation or deep sleep in the delta state (see [...]), I need headphone with expanded frequency response (to get 20-20,000 Hz, they must be designed for higher and lower frequencies). But--I also need earbuds that won't fall off my head while moving between yoga postures, and I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for audiophile headphones. I read that the Frequency Response of these Sony's is a large 6 - 23,000 Hz, the in-ear design with several silicone ear piece sizes make them fit perfectly in the ear so that they stay put and minimize outside noise, and the earbud design would not interfere with my movements.
Some user reviews, however, said that these earbuds sounded bad, had awkward cords and earpieces, and fell apart almost immediately. Hmmm... Since these were really the only earbuds that seemed to fit my needs AND I've always been happy with Sony products, I bought a pair.
These Sony earbuds proved perfect for my needs; I could not think of anything that I would change. Shortly afterward I bought a second set to leave by my bed and fit them with smaller silicon earpieces that would be more comfortable while sleeping all night. For 6 months I've been delighted with the awesome sound reproduction and their design (I tried several more expensive headphones and found that they didn't sound as good when I tested them with high and low frequency test sounds--nor were they as comfortable). The fears I had about them falling apart were unfounded; they're still like new despite 40 minutes of daily activity AND wearing them while I sleep on my side all night, every night since laying on my back blocks my sinuses.
These are excellent headphones--try them confident with the knowledge that you can return them if they're not as good as you expect.

5 comments about Livescribe 2GB Pulse Smartpen (APA-00002).
  1. They laughed at me when I shown them the Smartpen. I don't blame them, I am a consummate gadget freak and I felt like I was 13 years old again, although I'm five times that age.

The Smartpen works as advertised and is invaluable at conferences, meetings, lectures and interviews or anyplace one would like an easily accessible audible record to reinforce written notes.

Chances are I won't be using it daily, but it has already paid for itself at a recent conference and series of lectures I've taken it to.

    Bravo!

  2. This Pulse pen is fantastic! As a post-graduate student, I can see the potential for use with undergraduates and graduates. The capability of this pen to record audio and written notes at the same time is wonderful. Being able to then go back through the notes and pinpoint where in the recorded lecture they are located is such an advantage over the typical voice recorder. I purchased this pen for my daughter as she was beginning Post-Secondary classes. She has had a wonderful experience with the pulse so far and says it has improved studying for exams by allowing her to go directly to what the professor was saying when she was taking her notes.

I also purchased a pen for a friend who was starting back to school as a non-traditional student. She was skeptical when I showed her the pen and really did not want to use it. She had been using a voice recorder for her classes and was satisfied. She changed her mind the first time she used the pen and is raving about the pen now! She said studying for the next exam after beginning to use the pen was a breeze. She did caution me, however, to remind anyone who used the Pulse to make sure that it is recharged faithfully. "Because, when it quits recording in the middle of a lecture because you forgot to recharge it, it is horrible!" Livescribe 2GB Pulse Smartpen (APA-00002)

  3. I am not one to write reviews!! I am only doing this to hopefully save some from the frustrations I went through!! When I first saw this product I believed it to be a gift from the Heavens! I am a very serious student and bought this product because I have a learning disability which entitles me to record class lectures. I never before invoked my right to capture lecture because tape records are so bulky and I don't want people to know I have a disability. I bought this product thinking this would be my Holy Grail. After using it Religiously for almost two months a fellow student bumped my hand. The pen fell, hit the ground and became unresponsive. I called the company and explained what took place. They told me SORRY it's my problem they can't help. I was extremely upset and said to the lady, "you're telling me I just wasted $200." The lady explained that they don't cover the pen being dropped and they are aware that it does happen and that it does break the pen. I asked to speak to the manager and then she explained that there is none at her office. I was quite ANGRY and hung up. HOWEVER I was lucky enough to have purchased this pen from Target who has a 90 day return policy. They exchanged the pen for a new one. Obviously the new pen wouldn't sync with the notebooks I had so I had to buy all new ones. (No big deal, I just saved myself from wasting 200 dollars)

Well after having my new beloved device for two days it rolled off my desk and smacked the floor thanks to its circular design. The pen still works but now I'm taking it back because I believe it's inevitable that this pen will hit the ground again and I can't afford to rely on it. I'm afraid if I rely on it and drop it after the warranty from TARGET runs out I'll not only loss my money but also all the data recorded and I'll be screwed. If you're a guy or gal who drops your cell phone DO NOT buy this pen.

  4. Great product but be sure to keep the pen with the paper...you need them both for it to work. I'm in college and it's great for class lectures.

  5. I bought this before taking my foreign language class, and WOW is this the coolest helpful tool!?! Easy to use (after updating necessary updates) and amazing what this can do. Helps me study, definitely gets everything I miss when I am writing and not listening...it does pick up background noise (other students,coughing,etc..) but it also picks up the instructor clearly so playback is great still.

  1. I bought this from Amazon as a gift to my husband who was out to sea so he did not receive it until he got back a couple of months later. When we tried it out, it only worked on one speaker in his car. So we thought maybe it was a problem with his car but when we tried it out in my car, the exact same thing happened! It's too late to return it so we're stuck with a $50 piece of junk that we can do nothing with. Very unhappy with the purchase!

  2. this is a great item, works well, easy to understand instructions, will enjoy it for a long time

  3. I got this thing a while back now, never had a problem with it because I was almost always able to keep it on one channel for iPod tuning. Then just the other day it just fizzled out...it worked once or twice after that, but now, nothing. I can hear it over ride the static when I first turn on my car, and it still charges but no sound. At 80 bucks, gimme a break Monster, they have an top notch image but this only tarnishes it after a year of service.

Yeah, it WAS great minus some minute flaws, but now I'm just pissed.

  4. Very easy to use. If that were the only criteria I was assessing, my rating would be much higher - However, that is not the case. I NEVER was able to establish a clear audio transmission. No matter the location or the station, the audio was always weak and fuzzy. The only thing that differed was just how weak and fuzzy the output. Save your $$$ and look for another solution.

  5. Transmits FM well but won't charge Touch 2G. Would be perfect if it charged larest generation Ipods and iPhone. I should have done more research before buying the product. Had originally bought Griffin itrip from Amazon but then canceled when it wouldn't ship for 6 weeks.

  2. Startech 6ft Premium USB 2.0 Ab High Speed Certified Device Cable

I cannot complain about this wire. It does what it is designed to do. I connected it to my printer and laptop and received instant connection.

  3. Does my work perfectly and I am a heavy user. No point in buying more expensive cables

  4. Seems to work perfectly with my USB2.0 printer/scanner. Bargain price and quick delivery as well. Can't complain.

  5. Ordered a 6 ft. USB A-B cable on August 1st. The estimated delivery date was 8/7- 8/12. I was on vacation until the 15th and still didnt receive it by that time. It finally came the following Monday on the 18th. The deal-breaker however was the fact that I paid more in shipping than for the product itself and they weren't able to deliver on-time. Also, the brand listed on Amazon was Startech, this cable was some generic flimsy made from China bs.

  1. Works great. I have a desktop computer that I keep below the table. USB ports were difficult to access. This cable works great. I use to synch my IPod, camera, etc. Much easier than accessing the front or back of the computer.

  2. It gets the job done, but the one I received is definitely not white which was kind of a big disappointment. It's closer to that old grey/yellow color that they used to make cases and CRT monitors out of; very ugly.

    5/5 for function
    0/5 for color

  3. If you're looking for a long USB extension cord, this is the one to buy. It works fine, is quite long, and a very good price.

    Sold!

  4. I ordered two USB extension cords on a Sunday, chose standard shipping, and received my cables on the following Tuesday, excellent and fast. Both cables are pure white in color, and work great with my USB devices. The end that attaches to the port on the PC is not the larger end of the cable- the larger end is the one to attach to the cable from the device, and should not pose a problem, it is no problem for me, as someone else stated they had a problem with the larger end side. The cables work great and are as I pictured them to be. I can now connect to printers across the room and plan to leave my new cables plugged into the back USB ports on my PC machine, and use the larger end of the cables to connect to the cables from my various printers, HDD, and flash drives, etc.

  5. The cable arrived quickly and well packed. It's in great condition and performs as expected. I'll plan to order from this seller again.

  1. I bought these speakers about 3 weeks ago. The sound quality is great! The compact size vs. sound output & clarity is amazing. My review is not 5 stars because you hear a very soft "humming" noise from the speakers if you have them on at a medium/high volume setting and everything is quiet. However, since this situation occurs rarely in an Urban setting, I am very happy with the purchase! I have already recommended the products to some friends!

  2. I am very impressed with this item. It has great sound quality for the price I paid.

  3. This item shipped very fast. And it works fine. However, I noticed a good amount of scratches on this item, which makes me suspect that it may have been used. The scratches were on the back, so they don't bother me because you cannot see them. I would just beware. Although I was not 100% happy with the item, It wasn't worth it to send them back.

  4. These speakers are stylish and sound great--until you use them in the same room as a GSM phone (i.e. AT&T or T-Mobile). The amplifier and cables are completely unshielded, and they make the loudest, most obnoxious buzzing around a cell phone that I have ever heard out of a pair of speakers. My phone makes most speakers chirp a little, but these things belch out the interference at heretofore unheard volumes. Completely unusable if you plan to charge your iPhone next to your iMac.

  5. very nice systems for affordable price. Nice and sleek design also sound is very nice.

  1. Crisp, crystal clear sound.
    Light.

Only negative seems to be that the head band effectively pulls hairs out every time you wear it... so those men already growing bald, beware!

Would rate it 5 stars for sheer value for the money spent.

  2. Bought these headphones to use with my ipod.Read an on line professional review which was high on these and I was not disappointed. Prior to purchase had tried several other manufacturers including Sony and these were much superior. I attribute the quality to the use of neodymiun magnets which yields very clear highs and a full range.

  3. Very comfortable; Collapses into a very handy little ball (including locking hook) that slides most gracefully into the carrying pouch.

Sound good in quiet environments, however the on-the-ear (versus an over-the-ear) design does little or nothing to block extraneous noises (i.e. if you use it in a gym that pipes loud music, the competition is way too stiff).

  4. AMAZING SOUND!! THEY SOUND AS GOOD AS THOSE VERY EXPENSIVE HEADPHONES. I USE THEM ON MY DIGITAL KEYBOARD AND CLEARLY HEAR EVERY NOTE ALL THE WAY TO THE HIGHEST NOTE OF THE 88 KEYS. GREAT QUALITY SOUND AND VERY COMFORTABLE TO WEAR. DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY. GET THESE HEADPHONES AS THEY ARE A GIFT AT THIS PRICE.

  5. These are simply the best portable headphones on the maket. Yes, still - even after all those years. Moreover - those I've bought about 1 month ago work also with the iphone. Must buy.

  1. These headphones are very comfortable and well worth $100. These are NOT Bose quality but that's what you pay the $300 for. The quality of the music is lacking but I bought these for the noise canceling part. I use these for long car rides, listening to EVPs when I have ghost hunts, and listening to lectures.

  2. Liked the headphones for the first 120 days, but then one side quit working and the warranty is only 90 days... expensive ear muffs.

  3. I recently purchased these headphones for my wife who travels a good bit. I held off purchasing them for myself. On our last trip we were on a regional jet that was very noisy. My older NC headphones did not remove enough of the noise. I used the HC-500 and was so impressed that I ordered a pair for myself.

I am very satisfied with the HC500. My wife says that they are equal to or better than the more expensive Bose.

  4. These headphones sound nice and are comfortable, but the noise canceling feature is flawed. It sometimes spontaneously starts to hum (as if it's stuck in a feedback loop), and you have to turn noise canceling off and back on again to get rid of it. This is annoying enough that I just use them as regular headphones, with the noise canceling always turned off.

  5. These are the first noise canceling headphones I have tried and I was surprised at the limited the frequencies at which they work. These are extremely effective at canceling out low frequency noise. I tried them on a loud diesel engine and while I still heard every bit of the higher frequency noise from the engine, but the low frequency noise disappeared. I also tried them with running water and they did nothing at all, because the frequency of the noise was too high. I did not get a chance to try it on board a plane, but i imagine they would work fairly well in that circumstance since most of the engine noise is pretty low frequency.

I don't think this is particular to these headphones and these headphones seem to be very well constructed so that is why they merit 4 stars. They are also as comfortable as any over the ear headphone. The sound quality seemed fine. The headphones themselves without the noise canceling manage to block a lot of outside sound due to their good fit. The case these come with is very nice.

  1. Outstanding! I love them for their sound and fit. You can't go wrong with these.

  2. These earphones are great! They are made so that you can put them in the ear, turn sideways and they stay in with no problem at all. The sound quality is also great and they come with a cute little metallic case to keep them in when not being used. They send all kinds of extra rubber pieces to make them tighter but you don't need them.

  3. After a reasonable amount of research, I was very happy to discover these very capable sport headphones. I have found that the sound quality is very good (including an excellent low end). The fit is comfortable, even after several hours of wear, and with several pad sizes included, there was some flexibility in terms of fitting my ear. I would almost say that my favorite feature is the cord. Unlike other sport headphones, this cord is a bit thicker and stiffer. Where some might consider this a detriment, I find that it makes the cord much less likely to tangle when not in use. I highly suggest these headphones. The quality and price make this a great buy.

  4. It's hard to purchase earbuds over the internet. You kind of take a shot in the dark and hope you get something you like.

I learned a few things about these earbuds. My ears are not too large, not too small.

    - The green cushion pads fall off without too much abuse. The first one fell off after I had had the earphones only a week or two.

    - The rather large hard plastic main part of the earbud is huge and doesn't always get in far enough in the ear to produce a good sound.

    - The protrusion from the top that is meant to keep the device in your ear doesn't work all that well (again, based on ear shape), and can even make wearing them painful after a while. They stay in my ear pretty well, but I don't remember the regular Ipod headphone being much worse.

    - The cord unnecessarily tries to return to a cord shape. Everytime I pull this out of the bag it is horribly tangled.

    - The green color isn't as cool as I thought it would be.

I have used these earbuds for about 6 months now and I am disappointed with them. I use a Sennheiser headset at home for online gaming and it works great. I would steer clear from this one. I may try a Sony pair that got recommended to me, or just something without the obnoxious protrusions on the top. The fact that the cushions come off and are lost easily is sort of a deal breaker for me.

  5. Wow! These are just an amazing set of headphones. They have that great sound of a really expensive pair of headphones. There are a couple of ways to put them in, so be patient. It's worth it because they will stay on till you pull them out. And they really don't hurt at all. When you read those reviews about them hurting, it's because they don't put them in the way that works for them. I've run in these for an hour or more, no problems, no pain. There's a little bag that comes with it that has a different assortment of size nubs so you can really find the right size, just for you. Overall, these are just a painless, great-sounding,perfect pair of headphones that will NOT fall out.
