5 comments about Teddy Pendergrass - From Teddy, with Love.
- Now this is a good buy. Teddy's voice is amazing....he has lost nothing and you will hear it on this cd. The camera work is good: lighting, etc., a good buy...
- THIS A GREAT VIDEO !!! I WOULD BUY MORE THAN 1 JUST TO HAVE SPARES IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENED TO IT. THE WAY HE SINGS TURN OFF THE LIGHT/CLOSE THE DOOR JUST GETS ME GOING. HIS VOICE IS STILL FANTASTIC. I AM SO PROUD OF THIS MAN FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE AND OVERCOME OVER ALL THESE DIFFICULT TIMES. GREAT COLOUR/SOUND ON THIS VIDEO TOO. SO TEDDY IF YOUR READING THIS KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. PEACE AND LOVE.
- IT WAS SUCH A JOY TO SEE TEDDY PENDERGRASS BACK ON STAGE.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MAN, I THINK HE IS AWESOME, FANTASTIC, LOOKING GREAT, STILL SEXY AND HIS VOICE IS STILL THE SAME. I ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO EVER LOVED THIS MAN AND STILL DO PLEASE PURCHASE THIS DVD, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. THE SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT AND THE COLOUR AND PERFORMANCE OF THE DANCERS AND MUSICIANS WERE FANTASTIC. CONTINUE TO PROSPER ON TEDDY, YOU ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE NUMBER 1 IN MY BOOK AND I AM SURE IN MANY OTHERS BOOKS AS WELL. I LOVE YOU. YOU ARE AWESOME.
- I didn't know what to expect from this concert. Let me tell
you, it did not disappoint! If you like, Harold Melvin and
the blue notes, or Teddys solo hits, you will love this concert!
You look, and sound fantastic! God bless you TP!
- Few artists have affected me as Teddy Pendergrass has. Jackie Wilson is my all-time favorite singer/performer. David Ruffin, Teddy Pendergrass and Otis Redding are in the next tier, with other soul artists coming afterwards.
From the mid-1970's 'till today, I have played Teddy's music incessantly. In fact, the night before his tragic March 1982 car accident, I was playing his music--as he would say--over and over and over again.
When I need a boost, I watch concert footage of him from the early 1980's. I had heard about this performance about six months ago and recently bought it. However, it took me some time to watch it. I just wasn't ready to let go of the old vibrant Teddy. I watched it a few days ago with tears in my eyes. Teddy is still the man.
Some of the best music ever made was made by the Teddy Bear. Teddy proves that a succesful life involves not being dealt a good hand, but in successfully playing the cards that you were dealt.
We have lost Jackie, David and Otis. Though Teddy was nearly taken from us, we are truly blessed that he is still here. In this concert, he delivers an extremely thoughtful and powerful performance.
I truly love him and want all to know that this footage is an emotional experience.

- I bought this dvd and I do not repent myself, a product of excellent quality. Congratulations Amazon.com because she was perfect in the delivery of the product.
- 20 years ago another act like this was made by Bob Geldof to bring new attitudes against one of the most biggest problem of mankind... Well, twenty years later we're seeing that the poverty is growing and now many countries have been "shoted" by this problem...
It's very hard to say if this act, to promove shows around the world against the poverty, using singers and famous groups it's the best thing to do... But I think we need to have a position about this subject using some kinds of "guns", and the music is good way to touch or even to send a message for the people and to the government...
Well, about the dvd what can I say? A great box with a lot of music... You'll have about 10 hours of music and shows.. I liked that they promoted this stuff including all the main languages on the subtitles, english, german, french, and portuguese (thanks god!)! Great sound and a great images from the shows around the world...
I can give an important value to this event to get the reunion of the Pink Floyd after so many fights and discussions through the years.. Well, if they could come back and play again, why we can't believe that the poverty can disappear?? : ))
Great show and package... Buy it.. You won't be disappointed...
- This is a 4-DVD set, which takes some of the performances from most of the Live 8 venues. Performances by a number of the "big names" who performed at the nine Live 8 venues appear here (there's about 10 hours of material). This is a good set for a starter, to get a good cross-section of the artists and venues. However, DVDs have been issued for at least some of the individual venues; so if you're more interested in getting a whole DVD of one of the venues, it's worth checking to see if the venue you want has been issued individually.
- Loved most of it...some of the acts don't do anything for me but the ones that do are great.
- Great service from the seller! DVD and packaging in excellent shape. And, the content was much better than I expected. I bought this for the Pink Floyd reunion and got that and so much more. The quality of the DVD is amazing and the backstage footage is fun - it would be nice to have had more of that, though. It's a phenomonal collection and I'm really glad I purchased it. Thank you, Amazon!

- A friend of mine gave me this game as a gift. It is kind of like a cosmo quiz on steriods, but your boyfriend gets to participate. All we had to do was put it in the DVD player and answer fun questions. Then, it gave us reading of how compatible we are, but in a funny way. Really cool and fun!
- I liked this game a lot. My boyfriend and I played and not only was it funny, but it also asked us to share with each other in a way we might not have otherwise. It's sorta sexy too and ended up being a prelude to intimacy. I do recommend it!

5 comments about WWE In Your House 27 - St. Valentine's Day Massacre.
- I love this video. It is a great ppv from 1999.The best matches were the Rock vs Mankind in a last man standing, HHH and Xpac vs Kane and Chyna ,and Stone Cold vs Vince Mcmahon in a cage match. The Rock and Mankind tore the house down until both beat each other senseless.HHH and Xpac were out for revenge since Chyna joined the corporation but they had to get through Kane first. Then Stone Cold beat the crap out Mcmahon but was in for a surprise.............The Big Show!
- Goldust vs Blue Meanie
Funny match, great way to open the show.
Rating: 6.0/10
WWF Hardcore Title Match
Al Snow (C) vs Hardcore Holly
Great, Entertaining match. This was an good match with a good ending.
Rating: 7.5/10
WWF Intercontinential Title Match
Ken Shamrock (C) vs Val Venis
Special Ref-Billy Gunn
This match exceeded expectations by far. Great match with good ending.
Rating: 7.5/10
Big Boss Man vs Mideon
Quite possibly the worst match in the history of PPV's. The most boring match of 1999 by far.
Rating: 1.0/10
WWF Tag Team Title Match
Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart (C) vs Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown
Pretty good title match. It didn't disappoint.
Rating: 6.5/10
Mixed Tag Team Match
Triple H and X-Pac vs Kane and Chyna
Boring match until the end, the end made the match good.
Rating: 6.0/10
WWF Championship Match
Last Man Standing Match
The Rock (C) vs Mankind
Good match, but not even near their match at the Rumble. Very good ending though.
Rating: 8.0/10
Steel Cage Match
Winner Is #1 Contender for WWF Title Match at Wrestlemania 15
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon
Great match, great ending. Perfect main event for this type of PPV.
Rating: 9.0/10
WWF St. Valentine's Day Massacre is worth a rent for casual wrestling fans, but this PPV needs to be bought for any hardcore fan.
Overall Rating: 7.5/10
- I have been a wrestling fan since 1996 and have watched all kinds of wrestling. I have a wrestling DVD/VHS collection spanning over 50 all together. This is the most complete and accurate review of this VHS you will find. I hope you find this review helpful; remember to vote helpful or not helpful. (Note-Each VHS I review has a "Match of the VHS" award somewhere in it.)
WWF St. Valentines Day Massacre
This PPV is one that can be over looked really easy. Most people only remember it for it's last two matches, but it carried some great mid-card action as well. It had its slow points, but it was overall a very strong show. Also, if I remember correctly, this was WWF's last IYH PPV. If I am wrong on that, please leave a comment and correct me.
Goldust VS Bluedust
The Blue Meanie from ECW has been taunted Goldust for weeks now. He has even went as far as dressing like a blue version of Goldust. This was an entertaining opener. The match was kept short and filled with comedic action.
RATING- 6/10
WWF Hardcore Championship
Al Snow VS Bob Holly
This was for the Vacated Hardcore Title. This is the match that went all the way to the Mississippi River. This was one of the better early Hardcore Title matches. It included all your usual hardcore antics; there are many weapons used and lots of backstage brawling. The match ends in a fairly innovative way.
RATING- 8.5/10
Big Boss Man VS Mideon
This match was boring with little interesting action. The best part is when it ends. I'm not just saying that as a joke at how bad the match is either, the aftermath is awesome and included a wicked beat down of Boss Man.
RATING- 3.5/10
WWF World Tag Team Championships
Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart (c) w/Debra VS D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry w/Ivory
A solid tag featuring some heated confrontations between Debra and Ivory. The story is that Mark Henry still liked Debra, and became easily distracted by her. Ivory was meant to be the equalizer. All wrestlers do well in this match.
RATING- 8/10
After this match, Mankind gives an interview about The Rock's attack on him earlier.
Special Referee- Billy Gunn
WWF Intercontinental Championship
Ken Shamrock(c) VS Val Venis w/Ryan Shamrock
Val Venis is with Ken Shamrock's sister. Shamrock doesn't appreciate this and is losing his mind. Billy Gunn provides some of the most entertaining refereeing ever. This includes slow counts, no counts, not knowing what moves are pins. Shamrock and Venis put on a strong match.
RATING- 8/10
Triple H & X-Pac VS Chyna & Kane
Chyna turns on D-X and joins the Corporation. This is really just your average tag match. What makes it so entertaining is Chyna beating up on guys and Shane McMahon is on commentary. Shane McMahon makes his presence felt by attacking X-Pac. I liked the ending as it made no one look weak.
RATING- 8/10
Last Man Standing Match (Match of the VHS)
WWF Championship
Mankind(c) VS The Rock
This match was brutal. Some people say their match at WWE Royal Rumble 1999 - No Chance In Hell was better; I haven't seen it but you should check that match out too. The Rock suplexes Mankind on the floor three times. Mankind DDTs Rock through a table. Both men use chairs and stairs to attack each other. It another great match from The Rock and Mankind.
RATING- 10/10
Steel Cage Match
Winner Goes on to Wrestlemania Main Event
Vince McMahon VS Stone Cold Steve Austin
This match starts off with some brawling outside the cage because McMahon refuses to get in the cage with Austin. They go up in the crowd and brawl. McMahon tries to escape Austin by climbing into the cage. McMahon pays for it as he is caught and falls through the announce table. Eventually, Austin gets McMahon in the cage and the match finally starts. The match is entirely a beat-down of McMahon, but it's one of the most entertaining beat-downs there has ever been. Paul Wight, better know as Big Show, would make his debut near the end of this match.
RATING- 9/10
- Goldust vs The Blue Meanie
Weird match with that reject from Extremely Crappy Wrestling(ECW)The Blue Meanie.Thank goodness Goldust won which as I was rooting for him in this match, even though that is something I dont normally do.
Hardcore Holly vs Al Snow(champion) for the WWF Hardcore Title.
Good macth with good hardcore wrestling. Now thats my kind of match. They eventually wind up at the Mississippi River and Hardcore Holly wins the title.(They would have another match for the harcore title at Backlash 1999 with Snow winning).
The Big Bossman vs Mideon
The Undertaker and The Ministry of Darkness are doing an promo backstage before the match. Then the match begins with the Bossman and Mideon. The Bossman wins but after the match he is attacked by the Ministry of Darkness and is taken backstage.
Dlo Brown and Mark Henry w/Ivory vs Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett(champions)w/Debra for the WWF Tag Team Titles.
Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett win to retain the WWF Tag Team Titles.Ok match, good catfight after the match too w/Ivory and Debra.I was wishing Ivory could of ripped of Debras top and we could of seen her puppies but that didnt happen though.
Ken Shamrock(champion) vs Val Venis for the Intercontinental Title w/guest referee Billy Gunn
Venis wins after guest referee Billy Gunn fast counts Shamrock. Then they fight after the match.
HHH and XPAC vs Kane and Chyna
I love this feud!Chyna had turned on HHH the month before and this set up their friction among one another!Anyway Kane and Chyna won when Kane choke slammed HHH and Chyna got the pin. Also Shane McMahon does guest commentary for the match.
The Rock vs Mankind(champion)in an last man standing match for the WWF Title.
Neither man won after both were counted out after the count of 10 resulting in an draw. However since Mankind was the champion going into the p.p.v he retains the WWF Title.(He would lose the title the next night on Raw to the Rock in an ladder match).
Vince McMahon vs Stone Cold in an cage match(If Austin wins he gets to go to Wrestlemania 15 to face the WWF Champion)
First let me say one thing....did you ever think you'll see Vince Mcmahon headlining a p.p.v?Neither did I,but anyway Austin dominates the whole match and then the Paul Wight aka the Big Show interferes and slams Austin throught the cage but however the door opens and Austin falls out for the win.Stone Cold is going to Wrestlemania 15 to face the WWF Champion!
Overall a good show Michael Cole and Jerry "The King "Lawler were the announcers after J.R had been out since December of 1998 returning in April of 1999.They made a pretty good announce team in J.R's absence. Also every single match was just about good w/the Last Man Standing Match between The Rock/Mankind,and the Cage Match between Austin/Vince being two classics.Youre not an fan of the WWF/WWE unless you buy this tape!
- This is a forgotten event that actually provided a bit more in wrestling and entertainment than the Royal Rumble that happened a month prior. Rock & Mankind were continuing their awesome feud and Stone Cold & Vince McMahon would finally square off one on one or will they?
Goldust vs The Blue Meanie. I did not care for this one and personally did not think it was a great opener. Neither guy has impressed me with wrestling but it was fairly watchable. Thank god, it was short.
Hardcore Championship: Bob Holly vs Al Snow. This match was made after Road Dogg was legit injured at a house show and this match, just like most hardcore matches in 1999, was the typical brawl that went all over the building and used various weapons. The surprise was the fact that the match ended in the Mississippi river.
Tag Team Champions Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett vs D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry. I always liked the tag team of Owen & Jarrett and this match shows it. D'Lo is great here as well and Henry is not bad either. The pace does slow down a bit midway through but the action is solid and still holds your interest. The ending was set up perfectly to continue the feud.
Big Bossman vs Mideon. Other than the storyline of the Corporation against the Ministry, this was by far the worst match on the card and perhaps of the year. Nothing noteworthy from either side, just plain boring and skip material.
Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock vs Val Venis w/ Billy Gunn as the special ref. The story in this match was that Val was messing around with Shamrock's sister to just to get the title shot. Gunn was just added before the match started. This one is a tough one to call because there is some solid wrestling moves but the pacing of the match is too slow and it seemed to run on for too long.
Triple H & X-Pac vs Kane & Chyna. Chyna had sold-out to the Corporation, which lead to the beginning of the end for DX. Overall, this was a solid mixed tag team match from the guys while Chyna did not look out of place. Luckily, it was not too long but just a good amount of time. There is an added interference from Shane McMahon that lead to his WrestleMania XV match with X-Pac.
Last Man Standing Match: WWF Champion Mankind vs The Rock. Honestly, this match was not even close in comparison to their Rumble I-Quit match but it was still a very good match. Rock, as usual, does his best as a heel while Foley takes his hardcore bumps. Both men go around the arena and do their best to survive. Surprisingly, Rock takes some hard bumps here as well. The ending is disappointing but the overall match is very entertaining.
Steel Cage Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon. This match is the reason to buy this video as you get some of the funniest and entertaining moments all in this match. The match does not officially start until a couple of minutes but you are constantly entertained by the antics that are pulled off. Austin & Vince knew how to keep the crowd on edge and not knowing what was going to happen next. McMahon takes a sick table spot that looked like it broke him in half. This, as expected, is a one sided contest but it never gets boring and there is a surprise debut from The Big Show.
Overall, a forgotten show that starts off a little slow but it picks up near the end. The main events are the main reason to pick this one up.

5 comments about Winnie the Pooh - Un-Valentine's Day/A Valentine for You.
- I love hearing that the classic older Pooh shows/movies come to DVD.
This DVD includes the two Winnie the Pooh Valentines Day Episodes/Videos on one DVD. Both movies are great to watch during Valentines Day, Great For All Ages. You and your kids will love it.
- This DVD contains two previousley released on VHS Winnie the Pooh packaged features, "Un-Valentine's Day" and "A Valentine For You."
"A Valentine For You" is the better of the two features. When Owl tells the gang that Christopher Robin has been bitten by a smitten, a bug that causes love sickness, they go on a quest to find another one because they believe that if another one bites him, it will cancel out the first bite. "Un-Valentine's Day" was an episode of the hugeley popular "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" series. Rabbit decides to cancel Valentine's Day because Pooh sent everybody too many valentines the previous year. But when Pooh receives a pot of honey, he tries to find out who sent it and return the favor. Without commercials, this episode is only 21 minuites long. So to make this feature an even 30 minuites, they added a shorter episode from the series, "Three Little Pigs," in which Pooh tells the classic fabel as only he can. The DVD is 60 minuites long and the bonus feature is a game called "Catch the Love Bug." This DVD is perfect for kids and Pooh fans alike.
- The DVD is a collection of two Pooh videos that were released on VHS years ago, so that's a good deal. The disc is split into two separate pieces one: one is two episodes from The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh tv show (UnValentine's Day and The Three Little Piglets) and a special that aired once on ABC years ago (A Valentine for You).
The DVD itself is simply horrid. The mastering in fine, it's the menus that are just the worst thing I've ever seen. There are 1-2 minute introductions to every menu.
Let's say I want to watch the first feature... I have to sit through the first menu for at least a minute while it explains the that there are two different features...a minute of this...Can I fast forward through it? No, however mastered the DVD decided that I should not be able to fast forward through this idiotic introduction. Ok, fine...I'm through to the next menu...this should be fine...but no...I have to sit through another introduction telling me if I want to play the movie I should select the play option and then it goes on about the other options...do I care? no. Do the children who have been crying for 10 minutes about the darn DVD not playing care? No. I just want the stupid movie to play.
- As another reviewer said, this has a truly horrible menu system. You need to wait through long introductions. You can't just move the pointer in some of the menus--you need to wait for the annoying smitten to move to the option you want, and then press select before he moves to the next one. Moreover, I have never figured out how to play the other movie after playing one. I can go back to the menu, but not the disk menu, only the menu for that movie. The only way to play the other movie that I have found is turn off the DVD player and turn it back on (more time wasted).
The content is fine and the mastering is good.
- This is another very colorful and happy Winnie the pooh movie my grandson and gdaughter 6 and 3 love this movie.

5 comments about What Love Is.
- Ahhh...Well this is surely to get people talking. More of a play than a movie type setting, this story bounces the personalities of 5 male and 5 female individuals in a dance between friendship, reality, and love. Well played, written, and especially directed (if you watch the extra's) this movie is a modern day event. Oscar worthy,,,,,no! Interesting and maybe a guilty pleasure...sure. Enjoy. Only complaint....the title and boxcover can turn people off. Ignore them and watch it. But, this movie is really directed at the 30 - 50 age group who can actually understand mature relationships.
- I've known about this movie for some time, but had not seen it. Some may complain about the language which is a little strong early. However, I would argue that it is true to what may happen in real life when 5 guys and 5 girls of their lifestyles get together in an emotionally charged situation?
I agree that the cover doesn't do the movie justice...get into the movie & you'll see a well played and designed story written, directed, produced, and starred in by Mars Callahan. The personalities were matched beautifully to the stars who played them. It was fun to match up the male & female counterparts as they were developing!! Go get this movie...
- Great dialogue between the characters. its nice to see Gina back on screen. enjoyed the differnt kinds of love expressed not just between a guy and a girl but love for companionship, love for attention and love for the sake of love. Cuba is certainly aging but he did a fantastic job as a love-eager man.
- After watching this movie you many never know what love is. the only good thing about it was Shiri Appleby's and a couple of the other women's part in it.
So, skip the first 45 minutes of it and go directly to where the women finally enter the movie for the first time.
- Wow - just watched it, my head is spinning!
The most FAST quick-fire dialogue ever seen in my 60 years of movie watching.
Could have been a play, no real action at all. it's 100% dialogue. and man, is it fast! fast talking, quick wit, amazing script. the characters take turns telling their story, their gripes on love and the opposite sex. first the men, then, the women. the rapid wit firing back and forth is reckless speed of headache proportions.
The ending is sweet. meaningful even. I love the Frank Sinatra song that comes on for the ending credits. watch the credits all the way thru and there are some out-takes.
Funny, entertaining, mostly true stuff on love and sex and the games people play.
Not for kids. major big swearing and discussions of sexual nature. BJs, anal, cheating, nothing held back. not for prudes.
I really liked each character. all were cast perfectly.
be good - safe sex, kids!! Gramma Sally
