They all things they're afraid of, such as dragons and monsters. Bear helps to reassure them all that these things aren't real.
   
   This is yet another excellent book for "Bear in the Big Blue House" fans and will be great for children before going to bed.

1. I found this book disappointing. I bought it to send to a Spanish speaking friend who is learning English hoping it would explain Thanksgiving. It was secular to the max with next to no historical background. It might as well have been titled, "Things to do on Turkey Day." Unless you simply want a list of things people do on Thanksgiving Day, save your money.

1. Granted I am a big Berenstain Bear fan, however the scathing review posted by Horn regarding this and other books in the Scholastic/Cartwheel series are unneccesarily harsh. The Bears' Thanksgiving may not stand out as a top pick among this series, it is entertaining and certainly quite readable.

1. This is a great book of Thanksgiving day poems. I try to buy books for every holiday for my kids, and it's hard to find really good thanksgiving titles. This one is deninately a winner!

1. The Turners are having Tufu Turkey[blech] instead of regular Turkey,so Timmy wishes for all kinds of things,but he ends up in Vicky's house. The car carrying Vicky's parents and Tootie broke down,so Mr. and Mrs.Turner along with Doidle,Timmy and Vicky pick up Vicky's parents and Tootie. In one of the pictures,you see Tootie has hearts around her and smiling when she sees Timmy in the car. I also like the Scene where The Turners,Vicky's Family and Doidle are at the table eating Tofu Turkey,and Tootie has her arms around Timmy's neck. Timmy saves The Day,Again[Thanksgiving,this time] He saved Easter for Tootie.
