1. I am in the fifth grade and I really liked reading this book, it is about Lizzie who is so bossy and likes to be in control of everything, she reminds me of a girl in my school. Some parts are really funny. I recommend this book for grade 3 to 5, it is very easy to read and you will not be able to put it down, you will want to read the whole book in one day.



2. I really liked this book. My favorite part was when Heather wanted to wear her dads football helmet because she was scared of bats. Bootsie cured Heather, Heather did not want to wear the helmet, not even to the wedding. Lizzie wore it instead because she decorated it for Heather and thought it looked to nice not to be worn. I would recommend this book to other kids.

1. We enjoyed reading this book to our children, ages 2 and 7, and they enjoy hearing it, OFTEN. This book is cute and fun and unique in its use of yiddish (all explained in the text).

1. This delightful book gives a wonderful glimpse into the Mexican culture of fireworks, as seen by a little girl whose family are deeply involved in that culture. As a fireworks professional, I appreciated this warm and sympathetic view of fireworks. When people ask why I am involved in fireworks, I get out this book and show them the picture on the cover. Fireworks is the only way I know to put that expression of joy and awe onto the faces of children. A truly wonderful book, which captures that wonder.
