3 comments about Touch and Feel: Birthday (Touch and Feel).
- I was hoping this book would be spectacular due to the high ratings of other DK touch-and-feel books. I was disappointed to find that the range of textures are pretty small....and just not as exciting or realistic as other books we have. I'd stick with bigger books with more on each page that don't cost much more, such as the touch-and-feel books put out by the author of the Baby Einstein series.
- I bought a bunch of these to give away as favors to the little ones at my son's first birthday. Cute book- especially for birthdays! But, I wish it had more pages. Very short.
- The text is boring, the pictures are uninspiring, and the textures are bland (and sometimes repetitive).
Nobody in the family ever got into it, not as babies or toddlers.
I would not buy it again if I had a chance.

5 comments about Sam and the Lucky Money.
- my three year old loves this and I do too! it is a great book to share at Xmas as well. The pictures are wonderful and we are giving it to nursery school as part of Chinese New Year celebration.
- I cry almost every time I read this book to my 5 1/2 year-old daughter, who is from Hunan. She doesn't...but I do...and we've been reading it for over a year now. I'm hoping she learns compassion and generosity from the story, which it teaches so beautifully in both words and rich illustrations.
- Read for a pre-k school Chinese New Year celebration and for a kindergarten celebration and all children were very attentive and interested in the story. Also has a good moral message to about giving.
- Great for pre-schoolers to learn about giving and introduce them to Chinese New Year Celebration. Read the book to 3 year olds at a pre-school. Everyone was very attentive. Kids got the message, learnd about giving and appreciation, as well as were introduced to Asian culture. Recommend to ages 3-7.
- Everyone loves this book; mothers, teachers and of course, children. Many books about Chinese New Year are non-fiction books that describe the customs of the holiday. What makes this different is that this is a piece of fiction that gives you all the flavors of what it's like in an urban Chinatown during Chinese New Years while at the same time sending a wonderful message of giving. My 3 and 5 year old love this book. My 5 year old's kindergarten teacher loved the book for the same reasons plus it fostered discusssions about the story and the holiday. A class of 18 children sat quietly; listening attentively. The children found the illustrations fascinating. The teacher even loaned our book to another kindergarten teacher. I'm online because I'm getting them their own copy.

1 comments about French Kitty in Oui, Oui, Waikiki.
- I've been waiting for AGES in anxious anticipation of this book being released, and all that waiting was worth it! French Kitty's second novel is even better than the first one. In this story, French Kitty jets off to Hawaii for the wedding of one of her good friends. She scurries all over the island in search of the perfect wedding present, and finds adventure and romance along the way! I give this book five stars, and I can't WAIT for the next installment!!!

2 comments about Spring Story (Brambly Hedge).
- This is an adorable story with precious pictures. It relates the adventures of a young mouse, Wilfred, who is celebrating his birthday. His fellow mice plan a pleasant surprise for him, but he'll have to work to get it. I recieved this book as a two-year old, and I am so glad my mother preserved it for me. This is a great book for bedtime, or any time. Young children and adults alike will enjoy the delicate pictures and accompanying text. You will truly enjoy this book!
- This classic book is always a favorite with the kids (and adults too). Jill Barklem never fails to satisfy.

5 comments about Bridal Bedlam: Sabrina, The Teenage Witch #23.
- Sabrina Spellman's Aunt Vesta is a magical witch. But she has a surprise! She's getting married to a mortal (someone who has no magic)! So Sabrina has to train Vesta to do things the mortal way. And it won't be easy.... I rated this book four out of five stars because I know that it couldn't have been better, even though it was already pretty good. If you enjoy Sabrina books, you might want to check out: "Eight Spells a Week", "All That Glitters", "Scarabian Nights", and "Millenium Madness".
- I loved this book- it had so many twists and turns and it was excellent reading material!
- Recently the books in the Sabrina series havent been all that great, so i wasnt expecting very much from "Bridal Bedlam". I was pleasnstly suprised as it was rather good. It had all charectors in it and included referances to episodes of the show. There is more to the story than Vesta's wedding. For any Sabrina fan this is a definate must-read.
- It was okay i suppose. it was a shock when her aunt vesta turned up and decided that they were all helping with her weddng and that The wedding was actually going to be at their mansion house.
- this is a great book!!! but the best chapters are near the end when sabrina and harvey( true love) and the enemy!! libby go on a search for the shawl. of course libby still doesnt stop complaining even when she has no idea where she is.

5 comments about The Gift.
- The Gift is a beautifully and brightly illustrated book with foldout pages that makes both children and parents remember what is truly important. In this day of expensive toys and gadgets, The Gift reminds that the best gift we can give our children is our love.
- Thoughtful and insightful writing. The message is loud and clear
to parents as well as children. Deals in a very delicate way with the trappings of materialism as a substitute for tenderness. Highly recommended!
- Great book about what really matters. Time, affection, guidance, etc are the real values that can't be replaced by all the toys and trinkets in the world!
Should be required reading for parents!
- I like this book so very much, with its warm and beautiful message of love. Specially in these hard times. The story and the illustrations are simply wonderful.
- This is an adorable story about two "Goodparents" agonizing over what to get their son for a present. They make guesses based on hints from their son. My three year old loves to squeal "no!" every time the guess is incorrect. I like reading it to her because it's very easy to become animated while doing so.
