3. I first watched this movie when it came into theatres, and I actually talked my friends into watching this instead of another movie, which was a hit thriller.
   
   The main reason why I chose this over the other movie was not because of the cast members. Though i admit that I admire the beautiful Miss Hilary Duff and Mr Chad michael Murray as many teenagers do out there(hey! I'm only sixteen myself!), I watched the movie because I was attracted by the story.
   
   Cinderella is one of my favourite fairytales since I was a kid, and I am really glad that it's made into a comedy telling the story of a girl. A Cinderella Story illustrates many aspects of lives of teenagers; family, school, friends, part-time job... and it's shouting out to every teenager out there: never give up. Cling onto your dreams. Eventually, everything will be alright.
   
   Fairytales are like dreams of every person out there, no matter you are a kid or you are an adult. Many say that they are like perfections that don't exist. Well maybe they don't. But if you really look and you really try to see, they are there, waiting for you to explore.



4. An entertaining story for Hillary Duff fans...or not. Purchased as a gift for twin 10 year old girls who enjoyed the movie.



5. a great movie for kids ages 5-35. same basic "cinderella" story with a new modern twist.

1. my god this movie is not worth your time. do not watch this! i felt nothing but boredom whatching this piece of crap, in fact i even coulnt whatch it all. GOOD GOD botom line this is crap pure and simple crap put on film. the ones responsible for this movie being realeased should be shot on sight.



2. I watched this expecting the kinda straight to video horror movie that's everywhere right now.
   It turned out to be more of a psychological horror with some weird twists and creepy dialog. Acting was good, maybe a little wooden in places. Script was clean and made sense. Atmospherics were good.
   If nothing else, watch it for the psycho-clown! Oh, and the music! music really rocks!



3. Defineately not a mainstream movie, but brilliant in its own way. This movie is propelled mostly by visual dream like images which are used to tell the story or create feeling or atmosphere rather than dialogue. Where words can't move the story, an image fills the void. And when there is dialogue, it is quite poetic, and at times, tragic. When the main character dreams about her son's murder, she dreams of her angry husband and his parents, and her mother in law shouting "He was my pride and joy!!!"
   
   It took me several viewings to fully understand the tragic, erie story, but I will watch this over and over again, each time uncovering a new secret I missed the first time.
   
   And this is one of the most beautifully photographed films...it tend to favor different shades of yellow and greens. The cover kind of hints at how it was filmed.
   
   I highly reccomend this forgotton and underated film. Don't go into it expecting a clear, direct story, but go into it expecting a beautifully presented story you will want to watch over and over again.

1. The story: when the groom's neurotic brother decides to confess just hours before the social-event-wedding-of-the-year that he had once had an affair with the bride, the groom decides that a joy-ride through the city is what he needs to clear his head. But how long can the bride's mother keep the press and the other wedding guests happy until her run-away future-son-in-law can be found?

   Don't be taken in by the calibre of the cast, this little film could replace Melatonin as a sleeping pill. Seldom has a film had such an unbearably slow pacing. You find yourself tapping your foot and saying: come on, get on with it!

   Julianna Margulies sits around most of the film looking as bored as I felt, and probably wishing that she was back in the Emergency Room, where there's at least some action. Ivan Sergei, who has actually done some decent work ("The Opposite of Sex", "Playing Mona Lisa", "Jack & Jill" and "Once a Thief"), comes off as brain-dead in this role.

   Bottom line: banal comedy, that's not funny. Only for insomniacs!

1. Rachel Marron, portrayed by Whitney Houston, is a worldwide superstar singer and actress who has millions of adoring fans but one has taken there admirations too far. In a world of glamour and celebrity Marron fights to maintain her career and Frank Farmer, her bodyguard, fights to keep her alive.
   
   Kevin Costner portrays Frank Farmer, a no-nonsense bodyguard hired by the singers associates that struggles with Marron's devotion to her career and her own deluted view that she is invincible.
   
   Houston plays a charachter that paralells her real life, an accomplished actress and singer who is being stalked by an obsessive fan. Bodyguard was to be the big vehicle to launch Houston into a mega film career. Although Houston's performance is commendable for her first film effort, her shinging moments in the film are when she showcases the soundtrack, which is incredible. Costner is strong in his stern, powerful role.
   
   Bodyguard, although panned by many critics, was extremly successful at the box office both domestically and worldwide. The 8th highest grossing film of all time, Bodyguard was financially a success for Houston but her acting performance was ignored by critics. The film has many twists and turns and keeps you guessing. It is not an Oscar worthy performance by Houston, but highly entertaining!



2. Cheesy plot + terrible acting = The worst movie I've ever seen. I'm not surprised it garnered the Razzie Award for the worst picture of the year. On the other hand, the music is awesome.



3. We buy a lot of our DVD's on Amazon.........the deals are great and the selection is amazing.



4. When The Bodyguard came out, everyone was saying it was the best movie ever.
   So it has Costner and Houston.
   I'm not getting it, Costner hasn't been in a good movie in years, and Houston hasn't been in a movie since.
   Don't get me wrong, the movie is pretty good.
   The acting is fine, the story is fine.
   Houston plays a singer who is stalked. Gee, what a creative stretch.
   The ending was good and all in all, it's worth a rental.



5. Who hasn't seen this movie if at all remotely curious, interested or fans of either megastar? The unattainable White Knight and IR relationship that may or may not move beyond confines. Can't imagine in real life, a clean end after such intensity. If you've ever gone there, you can imagine the real deal.
