5 comments about Flintstones Christmas.
- More excrutiating than the russian roulette scene in deer hunter. Worst movie ever. Only a communist sympathiser would like this movie, so if you hear someone singing its praises, please consult authorities. It is the communists not so subtel attempt to destroy what they see as a bastion of capitalism, Christmas. The Holiday season already has an abnormally high suicide rate as is, this movie has only exacerbated the problem. Instead, show your children "Aguire: Wrath of God"
- Hmmm, if memory serves, the whole point of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ. The gifts and other accesories (Including Santa props) are somewhat secondary. So how in god's name can there be a CHRISTmas going on in the stone age if Christ hasnt been born? True this is a cartoon where stone age men shave with clams so realism isnt really a priority here. But this tape is just another example of the type of comercialism that has burried the real meaning of the holyday under mall propaganda. Do yourself a favor and put the money you were going to use for buying this tape into a charity. Do something nice or somebody else. That's what the holyday is, sharing the joy of the religious event, not the invented secular cuasi-pagan one.
- anouther hanna barbera christmas cartoon so hart worming do not listen to the ones that didnt like this thes are proper christmas cartoons times i never miss it when its on boomerang.
- Despite the objections of the rather odd reviewers who slandered this tape, I encourage anyone who likes the Flintstones and loves Christmas to get it. It's adorable, fun, very Christmas-y, and I watch it every year. A family classic. Basically you will know if you like it beforehand; there is nothing particularly offensive about these episodes, so as I said, if you liked both this television show and cute holiday specials, this is a good buy.
As for the accusation of every person who likes this being a communist....I don't think that even merits a response. Perhaps it was a joke.
- This is a fun romp with Fred and Barney. Love to watch it every year. By the way your editors description is wrong. Santa is not stranded at the North Pole with a sprained ankle. He is stranded at Fred's house!!!

5 comments about White Christmas.
- No Christmas is complete without seeing Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and others perform this Christmas Classic. A great family movie.
- Ordered this dvd to replace my original copy that was loaned last year and never returned. It was great to end my Christmas Season with this tradional classic movie. Good quality, shipped promptly, good service.
- After watching a poorly edited broadcast of White Christmas, one that was actually missing "Snow,Snow,Snow", I decided to get my own copy. What a difference! It's something that we watch every Christmas season.
- White Christmas
Who wouldn't love this movie? It is a clasic that one can not watch too many times!! It should be a part of everyones collection.
- The quality of the picture and sound was great. A definate yearly watch for every Christmas season.

- Billy wilder was the first woody allen
and this movie shows it
the best comedy and drama with great performances and direction.
a treasure, no doubt about it
- The movie was great! It's funny to see the same nonsense that happens nowadays being portrayed years ago. The more things change they definitely stay the same!
- I am reviewing the new collector's edition DVD for this film. The film itself is a true classic and still holds up beautifully. Jack Lemmon is in fine form as well as the entire cast. The print looks great on this edition and there are a couple of very good extras. One about Jack Lemmon and another about the film itself. The film won the Academy Award for 'Best Picture ' in 1960 and if you haven't seen it, maybe it's time you did. A rare insightful film that manages to balance comedy and drama to perfection.
- It SHOULD be sufficient to report that Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine feature in this superb classic movie.
These two superb actors, carry this brilliant story and script along, effortlessly. Supporting cast members also contribute although to be honest I, personally, have never liked Fred McMurray in 'bad guy' roles. This doesn't detract from his acting ability, though.
This is a super movie and there must, in all honesty, be something wrong with anyone who doesn't find it a rattling good tale - brilliantly acted and Directed throughout.
- There is without a doubt this movie deserved the 1960 Best Picture award, not to mention the other Oscars that contributed to this movie's success. A great cast of Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine and Fred MacMurray (hard to believe this was Fred before his My Three Sons and Disney family movies). This is a movie that has its humorous moments and serious. By the way,if I lived in New York, I would stay at this "apartment". The cost..67 dollars a month back then if you heard Jack Lemmon's dialogue in this movie. But...I am sure the price has jumped since the movie's release in 1960..we can dream can't we? Enjoy your time with Billy Wilder's "The Apartment...worth checking into!

5 comments about The Muppet Christmas Carol.
- One of the most entertaining performances of the Christmas Carol. Michael caine does an exceptional acting job and the muppets add an interesting and enjoyable twist to the story. A must for anyone who has a Christmas movie collection.
- A bonnet movie for your children. And adults love it too. Very moving. Michael Caine is brilliant. Rizzo is great. Gonzo make a wonderful narrator. BEST Christmas Carol out there. All ages love it.
- This was an amazing blast from the past that brings you right back to your childhood. From the two old grumpy guys from the balcony to Rizzo the Rat; there are classic and well-beloved characters that bring you back to your childhood and share the wonderful classic of The Christmas Carol. The opening menu is quite funny, and several of my friends and I spent quite a bit of time just watching Kermits antics there. The children of Miss Piggy and Kermit are cute, humorous and everything they ought to have been. We follow Gonzo and Rizzo as they take us through the classic tale and show us the meaning of MERRY CHRISTMAS! With hilarious scenes from Kermit ice-skating to Miss Piggy taking on Scrooge in a battle of words, this timeless tale is a must-buy and a wonderful keepsake for the generations to come. A grand example of a G-rated movie with cleverness and excellent production value!
- My all-time favorite Christmas movie. It's my favorite version of the Christmas Carol--forget "live" actors. And the Scrooge in this one is the best of any I've seen.
- Happy with the product when it arrived, but it arrived a week after the scheduled time.

4 comments about Too Cool for Christmas.
- Children under the age of eight may enjoy this. Over that age it stretches credulity to the point where it snaps completely. It's a morality tale that loses its way long before the ending in sheer disbelief at what you're seeing, at least if you've made it out of grammar school.
- Finally a studly Santa. This movie is pure fun. I enjoyed this movie because it was really entertaining and and something different on the Xmas theme. George Hamilton is great as the new groomed but still gentle and kind Santa. Brooke Devin is delightful and the ending with Donna Mills a great twist. As for credibility, C'mon folks this is a Santa movie.
Perhaps the ending had more meaning for me than others because I had the same story line happen to me with my little brother when I was 19. (Minus the ride with Santa)
Lighten up this a great holiday movie.
- I enjoyed this new take on the traditional Santa Claus tales. George Hamilton was a refreshing, familiar face to see in this updated version of teaching the Christmas Spirit to today's youth.
- This movie lacks imagination the Santa is horrible. My kids thought this movie was boring and I lost them during family night to sponge bob. Save your money and time.
