5 comments about Kidsongs - We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
- My 3 year old daughter, Olivia, has several of the Kidsongs videos. I can let her watch them and not worry about the content or language (there aren't many videos like that anymore). This one is like the rest; entertaining and fun. We both love it. I'm sure we'll be singing Jingle Bells all year long. Thanks, Melissa L. Florence, South Carolina
- I bought this DVD for my [...]grandaughter before Christmas. This is one of the few DVD's that she wants to see over and over. She is still requesting to watch it in February! The songs are great for young children to sing along and the kids singers are delightful. Easy for young children to follow and understand. Very colorful also. I will definitely be looking at more Kids Songs DVD's, hoping they are all as good as this one.
- I love this so much that i wached it witb my best relitives in the whole world virgina winnter bella jie nad naimi i mean i wached this every christmas eve and christmas day i always have her sleep over every christmas eve christmas day and winnter break i think thisv is soo entertaning for your child this is so greatfull and were thank full for makeing this video so i learned a verry importent leson last night i went over virgina and sharans house and i thought virgina said you can never come over again but she didint mean it she ment i can sleep over again so when i got home there was a mesige on my anwsering michene that was virgina
- I have a 4 yo brother who's absolutely in love with this series. He watches the Christmas special repetitively and sings along passionately (he'll actually replay his favorite songs over and over again on the DVD player.) Great for kids, because it keeps them happy & thoroughly entertained; maybe not so good for you, because you'll have these melodies ringing in your ears for a good 24 hours. The cheese factor and the over-the-top nature of this series are really what keeps the kids absolutely mesmerized and entertained.
- The DVD was just OK. It only had 1 or 2 traditional Christmas songs and the remaining 5 or 6 songs were orignal songs that no one either don't know nor probably never heard before. I was hoping this DVD would have been a great way to introduce my 2 year old to all the traditional Christmas songs, but not the case. Also, the dancing wasn't the best either unlike many other Kidsong DVDs. I would not recommend this DVD if you want to enjoy it as a family, but as a toddler, like my daughter, would probably like it because of the many children that are on the DVD that are dancing and singing, plus seeing Santa Claus several times through the DVD.

5 comments about Barney - Barney's Halloween Party.
- Very interesting to my 2 yr old grandaughter. Excellant for the upcoming holiday.
- Even for those parents, who are not Barney fans, this DVD is a good one. The songs are cute & our two year old son manages to be able to sing along with some of them. The decorations that they make (spiders from hand prints, ghosts from foot prints) will give you some ideas of ways to entertain your children around Halloween. The costumes are good - certainly not too scary for small children. Overall, our son gives it two thumbs up and requests this DVD by name (even after Halloween)!
- hi i am here to tell a story about mrs cacilio she was over at my house and we wached this so was bella and winter they were so afraid they came runing tword us when mr boyd was dressed as a pirite 4 of us have seen many other ones with mr boyd and they were fine this is one of my faverite barney videos ever
- Barney's Halloween is our favorite fall movie. It has songs about lots of fun fall things like pumpkins, apples etc. More than worth the $10 it costs.
- Super video,
great ideas for the holiday.
Even better, Halloween is my daughters BIRTHDAY so we get to decorate and celebrate all with barney and her friends.

5 comments about Trapped in Paradise.
- This little known movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's great for the holidays but charming enough for anyone at anytime.
If you want to laugh out loud for two hours - watch this movie. It will instantly become a family favorite, especially at Christmas...
- My wife and I enjoyed this movie to rate as one of our
favorites. When you think about this movie, remember
the funny lines and mannerisms from the characters that
didn't need sex or swearing to make this movie oveall
just enjoyable. This movie brought humor and a warm
side to the story. Dana Carvey, nailed this performance
as the total idiot brother, and to see Cages frustration
in dealing with his siblings. It's amazing how many people
never saw or heard of this movie. Definitely a movie that
deserves praise...I rated this movie a 5 for its creativity
without having to bring profanity, violence, or sex to the
screen.
- I am very pleased with this product it arrived even earlier than expected and was a great surprise for Christmas! I will use amazon again!
- Enjoyable story about redemption and forgiveness. Hey, I'm sure you've already read the plot line and the details about this DVD. Moreover, if you're like me you probably don't like reading reviews that give away too much of the movie (a.k.a. spoilers). The bottom line is, I purchased this DVD because the first time I saw this movie was on television and I only caught part of it. Enjoying what I had watched so much, I wanted to see it in its entirety. It has since become a family favorite and an annual holiday viewing must. Heck, it even turned my daughter into a Nicolas Cage fan, so it must have something going for it.
- No matter how you cut this film up, or what you compare it to, it just is not funny. A great cast of Nicholas Cage, Dana Carvey, and John Luvitz can not deliver enough punch to the awful lines of this film. The idea behind this is two small time crooks (Carvey and Luvitz) learn of a plan in prison about a small town bank that is ripe for the picking. All they need is a little help once they get outside. The help is in the form of thier somewhat honest brother (cage). The characters played by Carvey and Luvitz are just annoying, and Cage is just flat. And to top it off, they tried to add a love connection in it, just plain bad. I forced myself to finish watching this in the hopes it would get funny, but it didn't. Save your change, don't get this.

5 comments about Elmo Saves Christmas.
- This is an entertaining DVD. Four year old Elmo, is granted one wish. What would most children wish for on Christmas? You probably guessed, Elmo wishes for every day to be Christmas. Santa and his elves are exhausted and try to show Elmo that if every day is Christmas, Christmas is no longer special, it's just like evry other day. My 20-month old daughter likes this DVD, but not as much as Elmo's World - Happy Holidays.
- Oh no! Santa's stuck in the chimney! All of the noise coming from the fireplace wakes Elmo up, and suddenly, Elmo knows what he must do. With a great amount of courage, Elmo pulls Santa out. He has saved Christmas! As a reward, Santa offers Elmo the choice of a pink bear or a magical snow globe that gives you three wishes. Naturally, Elmo chooses the snow globe. Hmmm...what should Elmo wish for? A firetruck? A castle? No...Elmo wishes that it was Christmas every day! However, that's not such a good idea. The elves are baffled: they're suddenly working overtime! And even worse- Santa decides to retire! It's up to Elmo to save Christmas again, with the help of the time traveling reindeer, Lightning. Will he be able to do it?
I absolutely love this movie! It's a thrilling tale, starring our favorite little red monster, that teaches kids that too much of one thing is not good.
- I don't know how many times my child watched this video, but a LOT! It doesn't talk about religion, it is more about Elmo and Santa Clause. A Fun Christmas video...
- This is one of my absolute favorite holiday movies, right up there with Bing and Jimmy Stewart! I bought it for my child and have loved it ever since. Watching Grover trying to sell Christmas trees is worth the price of the movie alone! Even though my child has outgrown Sesame Street, we still watch this one together every year.
- If the thought of watching Elmo makes you cringe, you will be relieved to know that he is much quieter and lovable in this film. His regular show on Seasame street is not my cup of tea but there is no piano playing and minimal elmo laughs in this one. I watched it several times and enjoyed it. Of course my 2 year old son just loved it too.

5 comments about The Simpsons - Christmas.
- This is a neat collection of clever Christmas episodes. I especially loved seeing legendary opera soprano Maria Callas in the classic "Mr. Plow." She appears in Homer's TV commercial. (Unfortunately, she is uncredited on the DVD box.) It was a pleasant surprise and a great Christmas gift! I would buy the DVD for this episode alone.
- Last year I bought this Simpsons Christmas DVD and it is good and has some really good Christmas and winter themed episodes from The Simpsons and the best is Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, and I also liked Mr. Plow, Miracle on Evergreen Terrace, and She of Little Faith but didn't like Gift of the Magi which only had one funny moment but was mostly very unfunny! This DVD is good but lacking any good special features!
- I bought this DVD for my brother for Christmas, so I opened it up to see if the disk was broken and I ended up watching it.
"Simpsons roasting on an Open Fire" is a classic. I'll never get tired of Homer dressing up as Santa to bring in extra money because Marge had to spend all of the money on removing Bart's tattoo.
The stupidest Christmas episode, in my opinion, is the one with Gary Coleman. The school shuts down because Principal Skinner had to pay Fat Tony $2,000 for a broken wheelchair ramp, so the school ends up being bought by a toy company.
Anyway, great DVD for the Simpsons fan who has everything, and wants more.
``Katrina
- This is nice offbeat answer to the endless Rudolf and Frosty movies that go on ;)
Even my kid has asked for it a couple times.
In this collection; you have: Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, Mr Plow, Miracle on Evergreen Terrace, Grift of the Magi, She of Little Faith and the the Mr Burns Finest Moments Featurette.
Overall they are not bad. The featurette I could care less about.
One nice aspect of this DVD is the theme of Christmas as you will not have to sift through the box sets if you have them.
However, one problem is the missing play all option. I docked it one point for that.
Now if they would only make the Treetop of Horror into one set!
- It was exactly what I wanted when I purchased it and I LOVED watching these episodes but it really made me wish the Simpsons would do more Christmas episodes like this! I wanted more at the end.
Mr. Plow though it was not a Christmas episode was freaking hilarious.
"Could you try not to scrape my asphalt?"-Plow Customer
"Kiss my asphalt"-Homer
"Put it in H!"- Foreign Car Dealer!
Freaking hilarious, so I even loved having that on there even if it wasn't a real Christmas episode. The Christmas ones were wonderful too. I always sort of hated Miracle on Evergreen Terrace but after watching it again now on DVD I can appreciate it for what it is and it is very funny. I was just kind of poed at how Bart ruined Christmas, but the references to It's a Wonderful Life and the hilarious things that ensue in the episode after it all goes down are worth it.
The extra isn't really that great IMO. Mr. Burns had more great moments than that, but the episodes make up for that big time.
Easily one of my favorite DVDs.

5 comments about Spookley the Square Pumpkin.
- my daughters simply ADORE this video and the book, too ... they fell in love with the video when they were both less than 2 years old - it held their attention for the entire length of the movie ... it's cute, funny, and has a great moral !!!!!
- We taped this 2 years ago from the TV and recently purchased the DVD as our VHS tape was about to wear out!!! I had forgooten about Spookley at first but my then 2 year old daughter remembered it, asked for it by name and even recalled which VHS tape I'd recorded it on!!! Since then (2 years, my daughter is now 4 years oild) Spookley is a regular in our household! It really is a cute story with a good moral and catchy songs. The animation is very well done also....WE LOVE SPOOKLEY!!!!
- The Square Pumpkin story is wonderful. My grandson loves watching it. I am very happy that I purchased it.
- While this is no It's the Great Pumpkin,Chalie Brown it is a cute show for young kids.I bought it for my 4 year old granddaughter. She does watch it but is not as thrilled about it as I thought she would be.It does send a message about accepting others even thought they may be different from you(a square pumpkin in this case)It features some very different characters such as 2 cute bats named Bella and Boris and three talking spiders named Edgar,Allen and Poe.And of course several talking pumpkins and a walking.talking scarecrow(think Wizard of Oz).
- My 2 year old son saw this movie on Disney channel 3 weeks before Halloween. All he kept saying after that was "watch punkin movie." All other Halloween movies he said,"no,no."
Here we are approaching Christmas and he still wants the punkin movie. It has a great moral to the story and a lot of cute songs to get stuck in your head. He has a great time watching it and laughs at a lot of it. I'm glad I made the purchase and delivery came the day before Halloween.
I could have given it as a Christmas present and he still would watch throughout the year.

5 comments about Rugrats Holiday Celebration (Halloween/Turkey & Mistletoe).
- It was great it had all the holiday episodes except for the jewish flood one and some extra ones totalling to 206 minutes of rugrats
- This is a great set of some of the best Rugrat shows. Fun for everyone from infant to adult. Some of the best holiday cartoons that are out there. Great explanations of Kwanzaa, and Chanukah. Hilarious Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween shows.
- MY KIDS AGES 4 AND 6YRS OLD LOVE RUGRATS.WE HAVE ALL THE RUGRATS COLLECTION IN FORM OF DVDS N VHS.ALL OF WHICH I FOUND SO INTERESTING N ADVENTUROUS.EVERY EACH OF THE RUGRATS CHARACTER IS UNIQUE.I, MYSELF LOVE TO WATCH THEM.EVEN THE "BAD" ANGELICA IS INTERESTING!!!.WE LOVE IT
- The video came very quickly, and it was everything I knew Rugrats to be. I higly recommend it!
- The one reason I had wanted this set the most was for the first Halloween episode where the babies scare the older children in the haunted house. I had hoped it would be there, no such luck.
The first DVD Disc "Halloween", includes "Curse of the Wereruff" the only true Halloween feature. The episode has the gang attending a holiday theme park, where Chuckie fears becoming a werewolf.
Tommy's Brother, Dill is in this story too.
"Ghost Story" has the characters in round adding parts to a silly, and sometimes a bit creepy story.
"Aunt Marian" the babies think a visiting aunt is really from outer space.
"Sleep Trouble" has Tommy and Chuckie worried about the Sand Man, after hearing a story from Tommy's Dad, Stu.
"Spike's Night Scare" a turkey's giving Spike a run for his money.
Disc two "Turkey & Mistletoe" is a better set. "Babes In Toyland has Angelica hunting down Santa with her long list, as Stu's robotic, and electrical land fall apart.
"The Turkey Who Came To Dinner" has a moral attached. This episode has all the main characters. Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica and the Twins "Phil and Lil find Grandpa's winning, and uncooked turkey.
Angelica tricks the crew into being in her holiday parade, and not telling the grownups about the turkey.
The Rugrats try to keep their feathered friend safe, and hope to come up with an escape plan. Each attempt fails, and the adults soon see this turkey.
The grownups blame their day's disappointment on the turkey. The babies surround their new friend, protecting him. Their actions shed light on the true meaning of the holiday.
"A Rugrat's Kwanzaa" focuses on Susie Carmichael. Everyone she feels has a trophy, but her. Without an award makes celebration difficult.
"The Santa Experience" has the toddlers going to a log cabin for Christmas.
An earlier trip to see a store Santa sends Angelica into a frenzy. Not impressed with the store's free Christmas presents she cons the babies to trade toys for each other, losing their importance.
Hearing that bad children get coal for Christmas changes her train of thought.
"Chanukah" has the youngsters assisting Grandpa,Boris, in a theatrical retelling of the holiday.

5 comments about Holly Hobbie & Friends - Christmas Wishes.
- I'm so glad Holly Hobbie is back! My 5 year old loves her and we watch this movie over and over. Holly and her friends are updated and cool but still sweet, caring and funny. Perfect for younger girls and a great distraction from Hannah Montana. I will definately buy more videos. We love the books and I know my daughter will love the design doll for Christmas. I definately recommend her - I think girls age 8-11 would still like her too (Holly is 10 years old).
- My three year old daughter absolutely loves Holly Hobbie and Friends. This DVD has such a sweet message about helping a family out that has lost a Father and Husband. This is truly a Holiday must have!
- My 6 yr old daughter loves this movie. It teaches a great lesson on what the holidays are really about and shows how even if your little you can make a difference. I love the songs in the movie! Great holiday gift for your little princess.
- I did not see this one yet but it is good. She helps a mom and two kids at christmas.
- In a world of burgeoning media saturation, a land rampant with Bratz Dolls, comes a refreshing breeze of sweetness without being over the top. Hollie Hobby is sweet and fun. What is most appealing though is that, while Hollie is surrounded by a very stable and supportive environment, she has flaws and recognizes and acknowledges them. This makes her fun to watch but also a great example for kids to learn from.

3 comments about Barney: Celebrating Around the World.
- How many times can the people at Barney put a new title on an old video? If you want to save some money, get the older "Barney: What A World We Share" for only a dollar or so here on Amazon.
- As you may know, I was disappointed with Dino Mite Birthday. However, Celebrating Around the World makes up for it with the Imagination focus back in Barney. Anyway, this new release (that's right, it's not rehashed) has Ben and Tracy trying to figure out what to do with their party and Barney helps by taking them to all sorts of countries to see how they celebrate, like Carnaval in Brazil and Saint Patrick's Day in Ireland. If you and/or your child love Barney, I'd highly recommend this video.
- dvd was in perfect condition and it arrived in the time frame that was given

2 comments about Meats, Sweets, and Holiday Treats.
- I have yet to see Alton Brown do anything I havent liked. His shows are a joy and the only thing on the food network that i can get my boyfriend to watch. His recipes are superb though challenging now and then but that is not what I watch the shows for. In his funny, oddball way Alton teaches you about everything from the origin of words, the history of food to the scientific basis of cooking. You absolutely can never take Alton seriously, but you will learn a ton watching his shows. I've shared his show with my friends and he now has a herd of 20 something girls in love with him and boys who watch intently trying to figure out just how to rig the power tools he occasionally uses to cook with. Do you know where vanilla comes from? What makes things thicken or thin in a recipe? You pick up fun trivia along with useful cooking tips without even noticing it when watching his show. Hes goofy as heck but knows his stuff.
- This was a good DVD to get started with; my wife and I both love it. Alton Brown is one of the best cooks on showing you how to cook, and why you have to do it the way that he shows you. I don't think you can go wrong with this DVD.
In joy
