5 comments about Halloween 4 - The Return of Michael Myers - Limited Edition Tin.
- To me Halloween four was the best of the series. What a way to reinvigorate the franchise. I watched this after recently seeing the remade Halloween, and have to say. This one is still the best.
The suspense is great as you watch Jamie try to escape from Michael Myers. Donald Pleaseance returns in his role as a driven Dr. Loomis.
I broughbt the Divimax to help comlete my collection of Halloween films, and was pleasantly surprised by the picture and sound quality. It was definately worth the price and still managed to entertain after all this time.
- After the insulting part 3, Hollyweird wised up and brought Michael back.
This was good and bad, good to have Michael back, bad because like part 2 it continues to veer further and further away from Carpenter's original vision.
Bloody, gory, a somewhat interesting story line.
I have a hard time recommending this to anyone but the most diehard Halloween fans.
If your curious though, give it a shot, you might like it better than I did.
But I though the series should have stopped with part 2 and THEN brought back with H2O.
- The Halloween series should've ended with Halloween III. The fourth in the series opens the door to make lots of cash for the creators and do absoultely nothing for the art of film making. Michael Myers died at the end of Halloween II after being shot in the eyes by Laurie, blinding him permanately yet he still manages to go on a killing spree and murder a dozen people. Made with no talent or imagination. John Carpenter and Debra Hill got out while the going was good. They had brains, unlike the audience that this, and the continuing sequels were made for.
- Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers is an okay sequel but nothing special. Michael Myers sister has died and now he's after Jamie played great by Dainelle Harris. Dwight H. Little has crafted a film with good camera work but the scares are little & few and the ending is choppy.
- IF YOU ARE A TRUE FAN OF HALLOWEEN YOU WOULD LIKE THEM ALL. EVERY HALLOWEEN MOVIE GETS 5 STARS! EVEN HALLOWEEN 3! VERY GOOD MOVIES! IF YOU ARE A TRUE HALOOWEEN FAN YOU WOULD LIKE THEM ALL! I DO!

5 comments about Here Comes Santa Claus.
- I saw this movie when I was in elementry school. All the kids just loved it. That was 15 years ago. Today I have my own copy and I still watch it. It's a movie worth having.
- My husband has this video, which he loves very much. I didn't see or hear about this Christmas video and when I did I fell in love with it. The songs being sung are very much loved by both my husband and I. Everyone should have one or have a least a chance to see it.
- This is a wonderful film (and not just because I sang on the soundtrack). The story is beautiful and touching. I saw it when I was 8 years old and I still remeber it fondly. A great film for all the family.
- My daughter stopped believing in Santa at 8 years old. After watching this movie she started believing in Santa again. She doesn't believe now at 21 years old, but she watches this movie every year at Christmas. It's her favorite movie. Our family all agree that this is one of the best Christmas movies ever made!
- As someone who lives in America, I saw the English dubbed version of this film released by Starmaker Video. I don't know if anything was lost in the translation or if this is just an odd film. My guess is the latter.
The plot revolves around a sweet little boy named Simon whose parents have somehow become political prisoners in Africa. Simon's class in school writes letters to Santa and he tells the jolly ol' man that he doesn't want toys for Christmas. He only wants his parents back. Soon afterwards, the class takes a trip to the airport. Interestingly enough, Simon and a little girl named Elodie end up separated from their classmates and are placed on a plane. The plane supposedly takes them to the same part of the world where Santa lives (although it's not the South Pole). The two little kids wander around in the snow and into a forest in search of Santa. This peculiar film includes more than just Santa Claus though. It also boasts an ogre, a fairy, a tribe of African rebels and several headache-inducing songs sung at the most inappropriate of times. I will probably remember "Here Comes Santa Claus" for quite some time. However, don't consider that a recommendation for you to go out and find a copy of this rare flick.

- After a long day of sleeping, I like to settle down and watch some cartoons.I turned on the TV and this came on.Being a fan of The Racoons, I found this special to be quite good, though not as good as the series. It was kind of crudely drawn, but it still had that certain something. In conclusion,I give this movie 3 stars.Thank you for your time.
- I remember watching this as a child and enjoying it. As an adult, a more critical eye shows me the crudely drawn animation, but it should still hold interest for youngsters. THe story is good, and that is the main part.
- Thise was one of the best show of that time and is still really good today alot of the other review's complain about the annimation its only different because it was realsed in the first season and they haden't gotted the annimation just right yet all in all really worth while movie which I still watch every Chritmas (its tradition)
- One of the Holiday Classics!

5 comments about A Walt Disney Christmas.
- I LOVE this video. I am a Classic Disney junkie and I love this compilation of some of the old Christmas cartoons. I like the old cartoons as I feel they are more family appropriate. This video has some of the best cartoons on it (my favorite being Pluto and the Christmas tree with Chip and Dale living in it). It's a must own!
- We received this video when my sons were 3 and 6 years old. This Christmas Eve (2001) they asked to see the video and so we pulled it out and dusted it off. You see, my boys are now 17 and 20 years old. I was so amazed at how much they still love this video. They knew every word to every song and sang them all. They remembered which character did which silly thing in every story/song. They spoke of what they had thought when they were little as they watched the video. It was a special time for us to share this with them again.
- I bought this video when my children were very young. We watch it every holiday season, without fail. The really old cartoons show how far animation has come since then, but they are also the most charming and easiest to enjoy! The laugh of Santa Claus is pretty much the only "vocals", but, well, what else do you really need at Christmas time. The first video is a singing-only sound track, but it is really cute. The frozen rabbit thawing when his girlfriend kisses him reminds us all of the power of true love. Enjoy with your family, year after year...
- I have enjoyed this movie ever since we got it about ten years ago. These cartoons have been a favorite for my family for a long, long time. My mom really enjoys the old Santa Claus on the cartoons. We watch this every Christmas as a part of our Christmas movie tradition. It is pure Disney holiday magic in one small videocassette.
- I really don't understand the brass at Disney...they have several gems in their vault (namely this Christmas special and the Halloween Treat special) and they are only offering them on VHS? I urge them to dust off the cobwebs on these amazing cartoons and transfer them to DVD so the true fans can enjoy them properly. I want my kids someday to be able to appreciate these classic Disney cartoons as much as I did growing up. I believe they could make a ton of money on this, therefore I wonder why the hesitation?

3 comments about Christmas.
- Just beware that most of his singing is in French. His voice is incredible but you will not be able to know what he is saying unless you speak French.
- An outstanding performance by one of the greatest voices of our time. Makes the Christmas spirit alive at our home each year. We watch it over and over, all holiday season long. Also provides some outstanding views of the Cathedral - It's almost like being there. It's at the top of our Christmas video viewing.
- No pun intended. Wonderful Christmas music. Pavarotti is truly the master.

1 comments about On Robot Wings: A Flight Thru the Solar System.
- Unpiloted robot spacecraft have extended our knowledge of the solar system in ways that could only have been dreamed of just decades ago. Featuring amazing footage from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, you'll fly On Robot Wings over planets and moons as if you were aboard a high-speed, low-flying spacecraft, and explore, close up, the features of Earth, Venus, Mars, and Uranus's moon Miranda. Also includes images of Gaspra, the 12-mile long asteroid encountered by Galileo en route to Jupiter.
Through powerful computer methods used to study satellite data, you'll circle the Earth's globe, flying between the clouds, and over many of Earth's prominent features. See the celestial beauty of the whole Earth, spinning in space, as viewed from Galileo's Earth and Moon flyby, and view the far side of the Moon in detail not seen before. From the radar image data of Magellan, swoop down for a low-level flight over Venus, a world that until recently was shrouded in secrecy. Through Viking and Voyager data, explore the canyons and volcanoes of Mars, and the fractured surface of Miranda.

5 comments about The Erving Freeman Show Volume I.
- When it comes to laughter and silliness, there's no arguing over the Erving Freeman show. This slapstick puppet comedy definitely delivers!
From haunted kitchens to angry mimes, Erving Freeman continually battle's life's challenges and faces his greatest fears and insecurities.
Erving is joined by a variety of colorful puppet characters including his big brother roommate Norville Howard; the guy with the advice Erving never takes.
If there is trouble, Erving will find it!
If there's a wrong way, Erving will take it!
If there is a laugh to provide,
The Erving Freeman Show will supply it!
Volume I includes the first four episodes of this hilarious comedy series plus a bonus disc packed with extras including bloopers and deleted scenes!
- I normally hate anything independently produced. I know that sounds bad, but what can I say. I'm a commercial junkie. I friend of mine purchased this from another site and made me watch it.
I laughed my **s off! whoever wrote for this show should be in Hollywood making big budget comedies. The wit was smart and quick.
I have never laughed at puppets before. But these guys make you quickly forget you are watching a puppet. The characters are so well played you just get wrapped up in the fun.
- I cannot disagree with the previous review more.
This is a funny DVD collection that is very good.
I will admit, the production values are absent. This is definitely a low budget set. But that never stopped the price line sock puppet or Triumph the dog puppet. And I gotta say, this is so much more funny than those. These episodes are good clean fun. ( aside from one funny "gas" joke. )
The main character is as loveable as Ziggy, Charlie Brown, or Fozzie Bear.
The comedy is quick and smart and the episodes have some wonderful lessons in life.
If you are a snob that is only looking for something that came off the commercial rack than you will not like this. But if you are looking for something to make you laugh and characters you will enjoy, than this is for you.
- We just loved this DVD! We have childen from 5 to 15 and they all thought it was great. At first the older ones thought they wouldn't like a "puppet show," as they put it, but once it started they laughed until the end. We adults enjoyed it as well. The comedy is quick and sharp-witted in a way that everyone can relate to, but it doesn't go to the gutter to get there. Great stuff!
- I enjoyed this Dvd so much I had to buy Volume Two that has just been released.
I laughed thur the whole Dvd. I use it to entertain kids during teaching a puppetry class. Sometimes there attention span wonders and this is a good way to get there attention , gives them a break from the project they are working on. Then you can get back to business.
I encourage others to buy the Dvd
