- As a single mom, the title of this book caught my eye. It has become part of a nightly routine for me and my 3 year old. The illustrations are just beautiful and lend themselves to lots of further discussion and conversation. This is such a sweet and lovely book. My daughter loves to say "...only my mom and me" :)
- This is a really cute book, I love the rhymes of the book and the flow. I can see where could be meant for a single mom, but it also works for someone like me who is married. My daughter is only 19mo, and already likes when I snuggle up to her while I read "only my mommy and me". Cute illustrations, overall an awesome book. Glad it had been added to our collection.

- It's Saturday Night and all the rich and famous beast in New Orleans gather at the Beastro for good food and fun. Some of the famous dishes served there are Free Range FireFlies, Worm Souffe', and Lizard cookies!
The story didn't flow very well. Lots of the rhyming test seemed forced.
This book would be on okay book to read around Halloween due to the pictures of "beast". There are better choices out there in our opinion.
