  1. The video is only ten minutes long and is made by the educational video network. It is a biased piece of work.

  1. The editorial review of this DVD is the wrong one. It applies to "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" and not this title! I purchased this, remembering "Irontail" from my youth. However, "Irontail" does not appear in this DVD. It is a cartoon and not claymation. The cartoon is fine for small tykes but make sure you are ordering the correct title!

  2. Cute story about Peter Rabbit and my son enjoys it but I only give it 2 stars b/c the title suggests that this story has something to do with Easter. The discription of this DVD is completely incorrect.

  3. The writing is bad, the voices are annoying, the animation is cheesy.... But my two year old daughter LOVES it! At least twenty times a day we hear the goofy theme music start up as she pops it in the VCR and starts hopping around our living room in her bunny ears. Her enthusiasm alone earns it two stars. And you know what? If something were to happen to her beloved bunnies, I would immediately order a replacement copy. She looks awfully cute in those bunny ears.

  4. I found this movie to be really annoying. The voices are horrible. But, my 4 year old daughter really enjoys it and has since she first got it on her 1st Easter. My advice if you buy this is to put it on when you don't have to be in the room to hear it.

  5. I do have to agree with other reviewers about the title. My husband and I picked this up for our son, almost two, for his Easter basket. It really has nothing to do with Easter, though. My son adores it and watches it every chance he gets. I like all of the classical music they play in the background. Even though it isn't Easter, it still is a lot better than some things he could be watching, and it isn't overly irritating for adults.

  1. If you loved Best Busypeople, Best Learning Songs, Best Counting, Best ABC, & Best Mother Goose, you will hate this as much as I my son and I did. Terrible sound quality, a story that takes place 1,000 years ago in Bohemia with accents so thick you cannot understand what the characters are saying. The other two stories are strange; one is about the "reality" of the Easter Bunny (those that would enjoy this would not even entertain the thought) and the final story finds Huckle taking care of a family of lost baby birds. He sneaks them into his room and lies to his parents when they walk in after hearing the birds! Each story is broken up by what are called "music interstitials" aka music videos featuring Huckle and the gang either rapping or rocking out to heavy metal. It is truly unbelievable - and sickening - to watch. This, along with the other Cinar/ Polygram Videos (which I think were produced after Richard Scarry's death in 1994)are not worth the bother, and are more than disappointing.

  2. Our family loves this whole series. Though there are some continuity problems, little kids don't notice this part. Both my 5 year old and toddler love Huckle and his friends and ask to watch the shows over and over. This story with the history of a tradition, we felt was not only fun but educational. The animation is also top-notch, as are most of the programs from CINAR.

  3. I think this is a cute movie, but it could of been better.
In that bird cartoon, the baby birds are hungry, and one of them chases Lowly the Worm around, until Huckie the Cat gives them each some spaghetti noodles. If that scene was edited out, I would of given it a five!

  1. I recently purchased the Show & Tell Bible, and our family LOVES it! It is a colorfully illustrated children's bible on DVD so my son and our family can watch it on our TV. I am a children's bible class teacher, and this is a great tool to use, as this 2 hour DVD has picture-button menus so stories can be selected easily. I am especially impressed with how accuratly the stories are portrayed. We find it quite entertaining, and most importantly, it is a lovely way to pass down the Truth of God's word to our children. I have heard other volumes will be coming out soon, and we can't wait to see them!

  2. My kids love watching this dvd. It is accurate and enjoyable. Can't wait for the next volume!

  3. I like this video because of its accuracy in outlining the Bible. The pictures and narrative are very fun!

  4. This is a wonderful DVD for teaching your children the books of Moses. It is very accurate and easy to understand. It is a must have! We are looking forward to the next edition and I know we will have the Show and Tell Bible in our DVD collection for a long time.
