1. We had received a gift of the album "Plains" of G.W. and we loved it, so we decided to try a little more. "December" is lovely as well. The music is soothing, calming, but invigorating at the same time.



2. This CD is the perfect accompaniment to the month December. I love listening to it! December is a month with many moods and memories for me. A time for excitement and happiness, family and friends, but also a time of remembering Christmases gone by. The music on this CD is powerful, yet leaves room for the mind to wander. Listening to it, my mind meanders into various directions and I often find myself smiling. It feels good. There a messages of love in the music. And hope, for it brings the seasonal message of Christmas and the lovely spirit that comes with it.
   Piano is probably my favourite easy listening instrument anyway, and Winston plays his with such grace and power.
   I really like the way the selection incorporates established famous pieces as well as some generally less celebrated renditions.
   This will certainly remain a CD that will be listened to again and again and again. Wonderful.



3. I bought this item as a Christmas gift however I am told it is a very good album. My brother-in-law loves it!



4. The first time I heard George Winston, I thought I had died and gone to HEAVEN...Oh, his music moves me sooooooooo...it is beyond words...I could never, ever get enough! It touches the soul. He is a humble yet brilliant and uncomparable musician.



5. This has been one of my favorite CD's for years, and I was sorry to lose my copy. The new recording is a little less subtle than the original, but it is still lovely.

1. My preschool class and my preschool age son LOVE this cd. We listen to it all the time. It's especially great to get the kids moving when the weather is bad and we can't go outside, or we need to get some wiggles out during the day. We all love Animal Action, The Count Bounce, the Balancing Act, and the Freeze most especially. To cool down at the end we will lay down and listen to the color poem. It was well worth the money I paid! I definitely recommend this one!



2. The sounds are a bit dated, but my 21 month old loved dancing to this cd.



3. A must have if you teach creative movement. Very useful in the classroom or at home with your own children.



4. Excellent CD to use for music and movement time in a prek classroom. The children love it!

1. This CD truly does contain ANGEL VOICES! Very hard to consider these voices belonging to earthly boys....Listening to them while meditating (or just trying to find peace and serenity) - brings an uplift to your inner being! One can only imagine a Kingdom of cherubs (so happy and sweet) singing these songs.
   Forget this CD is you want loud boisterous music because you will not find it here. If you like to concentrate on the gentle serene things in life - this is certainly a great beginning!



2. OK, this IS the best boy choir in the world. Their angelic voices and heart-felt music is simply a perfect guide for my choir students' voice and listening skills. Thank you Libera for your beautiful voices and music. By the way, I'm happy to say that I own the complete collection of their CDs.



3. A truly wonderful piece of music, this was the first of their albums that I purchased and it had me coming back for more, I now have all their work and recommend any of their music to those who would enjoy an uplifting and quite emotional musical experience. I especially loved "Sanctus" I'll never tire of that track. I've heard these melodious boys described as "average" but they are anything but. All I can say is that the harmonics of theses voices can not only be heard but also felt, like a chill up the spine and goosebumps across the skin, if that doesn't illustrate the point I don't know what can!



4. A testament to the beauty that exists in this world. Disciplined and well-constructed collection of good music. Recommended.



5. Any of Libera's cd's is well worth the money for anyone who likes boys' choirs. They are exceptional, both on cd and in concert. The only drawback for those of us who collect their music is the duplication of songs among cd's. If you purchase more than one, check the tracks for duplication before you click the button!

5 comments about Baby Einstein: Lullaby Classics, Vol. 2.

1. I bought both of the Lullaby Classics. Sometimes I put them on during the day when my son is playing, it keeps him from becoming too hyper in the house and gives him a feeling of contentment. I also like the mood it gets him in before bedtime. He also loves the Barney cd's for more interactive, upbeat music. Music is really so important for children when they are small. You can see the difference it makes right away.



2. These are so good for the young kids in your family!!! I love all their products



3. This is a very nice cd to have home, it's the best way of introducing music to your baby. Amazing composers, great selection and the instruments used, made it easy for "little ears". It's a calming, sweet way of putting your baby to bed. Everytime I have time I turn it on and give a full body massage in my daughter... we both love it.



4. My son had a rough time giving up his musical mobile. He needed the music to help him calm down as he was falling asleep.
   
   In a moment of desperation, I purchased both this CD and volume 1 of the Lullaby Classics.
   
   When I played the CD I was pleasantly surprised, that the music on the CD was very calming. I also know most of the songs which made it more enjoyable. I even enjoy hearing it on the baby monitor when my son was trying to fall asleep.



5. This is great CD. We love Vol. 1 but it was getting a little over played so we bought Vol. 2. It's THE best thing for a car ride. Especially with a fussy baby who hates cars.

1. THIS DVD WILL BEGIN A NEW TRADITION IN MY HOME FOR THE CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION, AND WILL BE SEEN ON CHRISTMAS EVE FOR THE REST OF MY EARTHLY YEARS. IT IS OUTSTANDING.



2. I thought I already owned some of the best Christmas concerts out there:
   this DVD is a solid winner and I'm happy to add this to my collection. Watching and listening to the voices, fiddle and orchestra perform the lovely music of the Christmas season I am swept up in the aura of sincere worship to the Christ Child of Bethlehem. This crew has success after success after success...may they enjoy much more and again share it with us.



3. The wardrobe or head costumer should look at the client or talent before designing or fight for a lovely look as opposed to the God awful gowns and the director's stiffly staged posing....almost enough to detract from the music, but the performances come through



4. This cd is certainly one of the best Holiday Christmas presentations available. The total presentation shows the great vocal qualities and personalities of each of the cast.



5. With the success of their CDs, DVDs, and concert tours, the ensemble group Celtic Woman was sure to release a Christmas DVD and this effort is wonderful. Produced by David Downes, this DVD features Christmas Carols and Christmas songs performed both as solos by the members of the group and as ensemble arrangements. I found the performances to be polished, the arrangements generally well suited to the talent, and the recording is excellent. The DVD features additional tracks not found on the CD.
   
   Highlights include Orla on "Away in the Manger," an ensemble performance of "Oh Holy Night," and "The Little Drummer Boy" performed by Chloe and Orla. Lisa Kelly also puts her experience in musical theater to good use in a fine rendition of Mel Torme's classic, "The Christmas Song."
   
   My disappointments are few. The rendition of "Carol of the Bells" was arranged as a feature for fiddle player Mairead Nesbitt. While her performance is excellent, I cannot think of a Christmas song better suited to the a cappella vocal talents of Celtic Woman. I found "Green the Whole Year Round" to be forgetable as a Christmas song and even the vocal talents of Lisa Kelly could not save it. The DVD did help me make sense of the uncharactericly jazzy arrangement of "Let It Snow." The intro, which is not on the CD, helps make it clear and it is much more enjoyable to see it that to simply listen to it.
   
   Overall, this is a very enjoyable Christmas video with perfromances by some extremely talented ladies. I highly recommend it. Merry Christmas and God bless corset dresses!

5 comments about 25th Birthday Musical Celebration.

1. My grandchildren adore these DVD's and the order was filled promptly and shipped out in a timely manner. Price was lower than most big box stores.



2. We are HUGE fans of Sesame Street. We watched the show as kids and our toddlers love it too. Unfortunately, this DVD is little more than a fast forwarded version of medleys & snippets of your memories.
   
   The DVD started out poorly and just got worse. The video quality on the first few clips looked like they had simply been copied from an old VHS tape that was used a few dozen times before recording the show.
   
   We timed the "Rubber Ducky" clip at about 30 seconds long and the "Do De Rubber Duck" clip was about 60 seconds long, plus it started halfway through the song!!! Honestly, even our 2 1/2 y/o toddlers noticed the highly abbreviated clips, showed disappointment, and completely lost interest in the DVD when their favorite songs were cut short.
   
   One of the other reviews mentioned something about this being an African-American version of the show; while we enjoyed the clips with African-American performers very much (probably the most), it's nearly impossible not to notice that many, if not most, of the full songs & scenes on this DVD are in fact those including African-American performers. I don't know what the producers of the DVD were thinking, but it's pretty clear they must have had an agenda to market this DVD in a specific direction.
   
   We remain devoted to watching Sesame Street on TV but will probably never purchase another DVD of the show because it seems obvious that little attention was paid to preserving the integrity of the performances that built Sesame Street's reputation into being an entertaining and educational children's program. If I could return an opened DVD and get my money back, I would do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately we're stuck with a DVD that we'll probably never watch again and would be embarrassed to give to somebody without a warning of its shortcomings.
   
   If we had recorded this show on the PVR, we probably would not have even watched the entire show before deleting it. Simply a waste of money; I wouldn't even recommend renting it through Netflix.



3. As we watch this video, my daughter (15 months) is completely enthralled. She loves music and while normal Sesame Street doesn't hold her attention for longer than Elmo's world, this video's music keeps her watching and dancing through the whole time. There are no commercials and the DVD starts right in. Smooth transitions. And a lot of the classic songs you're looking for. The first time my husband saw this he kept saying, "I remember this one!" Enjoy this video with your children or let your children enjoy it while you get something else done!

5. I think my husband and I like this video more than my twin 16 month old boys! We know all the words. We all love to sing and dance to this DVD. My husband's favorite part is Bert's pigeon dance and mine is Ernie's "dance myself to sleep". Everyone loves Grover's "wabba-wabba-wabba is a monster song". I highly recommend this video.

1. This is a very good cd, but Michael needs to do a full on christmas cd.



2. Adding his personal mark to classic tunes, a smooth, grown up collection of holiday music.



3. I love his voice. Brings an update to "swing." I favor more his ballards and am not the biggest fan of the songs he "speeds up." He certainly has a gift.



4. Not since Frank and Deano has there been a singer who works a song the way Buble can... Great song selection, great arrangements and killer David Foster production values. Oozes "cool" with every play. Couple songs short of a five star review however, but for the money you gotta buy it!



5. This CD is another indication that Mr. Buble is here to stay. His rendition of "I'll Be Home For Christmas" would touch the soul of the most hardened Scrooge. Michael Buble's style reminds one of Frank Sinatra with one difference: the quality of his voice is ten times better. My only complaint with this CD is that it is all too short. I would have enjoyed six more songs in this brilliant artist's voice.

2. I saw Paul Potts on TV and immediately ordered this CD. He has a wonderful voice and I hope he has continued success!



3. I actually love the music as it helps me to relax. The cd was returned because it skipped on the first track. However, returning it was a breeze with Amazon and my total amount was refunded within days! Have bought and will continue to shop with Amazon.



4. While there is some technical difficulties with this album, I find it to be thoroughly enjoyable. I fell in love with Paul's voice when I first saw the video of his audition.



5. I only just heard about Paul Potts on repeat of Oprah's show on YouTube. I immediately watched the video again on Youtube. Makes me cry everytime....then went out and bought the album. What a great story, what a great voice. I have sung my whole life and am so touched that this humble man won this contest and gets to fulfill his dream. A man from such simple origins can within a year become a singing sensation with talent, great music and musicality. Goes to show you that an "idol" does not have to be under 20, look cute and usually sound average....Good guys can finish first! Good move Simon, signing Paul Potts to a record deal...you have great taste.

3. This is an excellent audio CD and it is worth every penny. All the songs are great and entertaining. This orginal audio sountrack incorporates both the classics as well as the latest hip songs with a kick and an excellent beat to it. I normally do not listen to rap music but some of the rap songs done by the Chipmunks in this CD are just so entertaining and fun, and most of all, its clean unlike rap music these days. I grew up with Alvin and the Chipmunks and I still love them now. I am so glad they are back!!! They are just so cute, lovable, adorable and irresistible...they always make me smile...I even bought the DVD for keepsake. Hurray to the Chipmunk Boys, great work!



4. This is a great cd! I don't normally buy soundtracks but this one was too good to miss.
   
   After watching the movie and hearing the music, the whole family decided that this was a must have. The cd includes the updated version, as well as the original version, of the Witchdoctor song.
   
   It is a hip hopping family friendly cd. Way to go, Alvin & Co. !



5. I am 48 yrs old and I love both, the movie and the soundtrack CD. I play it when I'm feeling a little down and need to feel silly. I've had the CD for a month now and it still makes me laugh and giggle. Terrific CD to take to work to play when you have to be in your office on a weekend and you are all by yourself. It will cheer you up - doesn't matter if you are a kid or if you are a grown up kid.
