1. I have been collecting and reading Christmas books with my children for over ten years, and this is one of our Top Ten! A warm and thoughtful story, with glorious illustrations. This book is an absolute 'must have' for your library and is a perfect gift!



2. I read this book in the book store, I couldn't put it down and bought it right after with tears still in my eyes. Thomas Kinkade is an extremely talented illustrator and the story is amazing. I read it in church as the message one week, it is just terrific!

1. My daughter loves the, "...'Twas the night before Christmas..." poem. We pass the book around so everyone can see the 3-D pictures (which drives my husband crazy!...he can't see 'em!) Very clever.



2. These 3-D things really irked me until I finally got it. I don't have a clue as to how it works but all of a sudden I saw a snowman on the bookcover! Nice stocking stuffer kind of book.



3. The whole family spends time together looking at them. It's amazing to see the pictures pop out at you and to figure out what they are.



4. This is a nice little book young children can enjoy during the holidays. The illustrations did not have quite the variety, color and detail I expected but the printing of the poem along with the
   pictures makes for an interesting visual experience and is a good
   way to contain grandchildren and keep them quiet for awhile!

1. Children are told in their schools not to say, "Merry Christmas" This book deals with this issue in a very constructive and helpful way. It is child-friendly and clear. A perfect book for every family to have.



2. I bought this for our church library, and am very pleased that I did.
   After receiving it, I sat down and read it and was so pleased to see a mother take the time to explain to her child, if we look around we can see The Christ of Christmas in a lot of places. It is sad to say not every children's book you purchase, turns out to be what you expected. This one was even better.



3. I gave this to my daughter's second grade class for Christmas. It would be perfect for public school attenders who want to keep " Christ " in Christmas. We thankfully attend a Christian school and are able to say Merry Christmas, draw Nativity scenes and sing carols. My second grader did enjoy this book. Sweet message. Reminds children that Christ is in Christmas even if they don't overtly see or hear that message.

1. This is such a cute book, I am sure that my niece will love it just as much as her other finger puppet books!



2. I have several of the other puppet books and this one is difficult to manipulate. You have to stick your finger in and up to make his face visible which makes turning the pages difficult. Very disappointed.

1. I bought this book for my little goddaughter, but I couldn't bear to part with it and so had to order a second copy. It's the type of story that casts a spell with its rhythms and rhymes, and wears its heart on its sleeve. I love the unabashed spirituality of its message--it's one of the few Christmas books I've seen whose author remembers the reason for the season. But I can't imagine anyone of any faith, child or adult, who wouldn't be taken with this, by the sheer gorgeousness of its words and illustrations. Buy it for the kids in your life to encourage them to find their own voices and sing their own songs, but don't forget one for yourself. After all, everyone is a child, or wants to be, at Christmastime!
