1. This is an unabridged version of the Dickens classic. Not the best choice for kids--I'd go with the abridged Patrick Stewart version for that--but the reader/actor does a fantastic job on this full-length version.

1. When I brought these books home, my kids (5 and 7) took one look and had to read them right away. The stories are entertaining and they loved the colorful, funny illustrations. The kids especially enjoyed reading along with the CD that came with the story. It has the author reading, as well as sound effects and voices. My son reads the books on his own now and repeats all the sounds he heard on the CD. There is always a good lesson to learn in each story as well. This is a great series of books for any kid, of any age, who ever wondered what Santa Claus does when he's not delivering Christmas presents!

1. My 3 yr old daughter just received this book as a Christmas gift! We love it! The illustrations are great! It's a lot of fun for her to guess what is behind each flap!

   Great idea for those hard-to-find, inexpensive Christmas gifts for young children.
