- This is a great book containing the story about two sisters, twins, who are throwing a Christmas party, hosted by the two great twins. But when Elizabeth leaks her ideas to their parents and they decide to do the party Elizabeths way and not Jessica's. Then she wishes that it never happened. Duh!the days happen all over again. In my openion, it is a very sexy and nice book.
- I loved this book how it involved everybody in the storys mostly.
I kept up reading this at night. I really liked the book
- Another Sweet Valley Twins fantasy edition.IOt is a copy of Groundhog Day.Jessica has to relive Christmas Eve over and over again until she learns to stop acting selfishly. Will Christmas Day ever come?!
- I enjoyed this book, but i think the SV books are not original enough. Jessica is being selfish again and ends up ruining everyones christmas eve and really hurting her twin sister, Elizabeth. But when she wakes up she just keeps waking up into christmas eve's. I dont think its realistic because you'd realise that you had to stop being selfish. But its still a a good book.
- When Jessica selfishly wants Christmas Eve to be her night instead of Elizabeth,She doesn't buy a gift for Elizabeth[Her Secret Santa] instead she buys an Santa Dress. It looks good on janet but not her. She steals everyone elses Gifts instead of like Ellen's Gift of saying it was Elizabeth's gift from her. She also steals Winston's gift for Elizabeth.

- Children love this book. It's familiar and charming. Adults will enjoy reading it to little ones...especially as a bedtime story. Also, makes a great gift! It's the kind of book that stays in one's Christmas collection to be brought out every year.
- This is a wonderful book for not only the people of the northern states, but anyone interested in sharing the beauty and knowledge of the wilderness in winter. Good for classroom teachers and all children.

- Face it; kids like stuff. And Christmas is a time for stuff, stuff, stuff. But in this gentle story a boy with too much realizes it doesn't make him happy and he finds his joy in giving it away. The illustrations are bright but not overly detailed. A good book to read without explanations beforehand and when you are done, see what your child says.
- In our family after the last of the decorations is put on the tree (our three children rotate this task every year), the next in line reads this story aloud so that we can all be reminded of the true joy of giving, and of how fortunate we already are. Then this chosen child places the shiny keepsake ornament on the tree. This book belongs on everyone's wish list!
- I received this book as a gift for my children. Not only do they enjoy the story, but they understand and embrace the values within it. This story validates the benefits of sharing with and caring about one another. Not only does the receiver benefit, but the giver too.

1 comments about King Island Christmas.
- In addition to being a wonderful neighbor, Jean Rogers is an incredible writer of children's books. This book transports the reader (of any age) to a world which, for most of us, is just a far-off land. It welcomes us to the beauty of Eskimo customs and celebrations, and warms the heart with the Christmas spirit. It is a definite must-buy for parents or friends of children who will grow up sensitive to the world around them

2 comments about Wee Sing for Christmas book & cassette (reissue) (Wee Sing).
- This is a good collection of many Christmas songs. I'm not particularly fond of the tape, not liking the arrangements and children's voices all that much. But the music book that accompanies the tape is well worth having--useful season after season, with 58 different songs. Secular songs like Here Comes Santa Claus, Up on the housetop, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Deck the Halls, Here We Come A-Caroling, O Christmas Tree, and of course Jingle Bells. More traditional songs, too, like the Twelve Days of Christmas, The First Noel, Joy to the World, We Three Kings, O Come, All Ye faithful, Silent Night. And some children's favorites like The Little Drummer boy, Children, Go Where I send Thee and Go Tell It on the Mountain. There are also some unfamiliar songs, like 'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime (a Huron Indian carol which is beautiful) and Three Great Kings (fingerplay) and Must Be Santa.
I recommend getting this, for the season, the mood and the kids to have their own Christmas music.
- I bought this CD for my daughter a month or so ago since it was on sale and I wanted to buy it while I remembered. My child listened to it once and even though she knows it is Christmas music and we are far from Christmas, she insists on listening to it every night at bedtime while she is going to sleep. This CD contains a great mix of traditional Christmas carols with newer children's songs for the season. Some (but not all) of the songs are sung by children and most are easy for kids to learn to sing along with (not in a strange vocal range or requiring a whole choir). This is a great holiday CD to have on hand if you have children or will have children present at your holiday parties as it would also make great background music that is soothing for children and not obnoxious for adults. Overall another quality CD from the Wee Sing people.
