1. This series (the Otto books by David Milgrim) are the first books my daughter could read on her own, and not only does she love them, I enjoy reading them over and over and over and over, unlike many kids books out there (especially many of the early readers). I buy them for our friends who are turning five or six and just starting to read, but the humor's good enough for older kids too. A smart babysitter could have a stash of these to bring with him/her and entertain the little ones a lot.

1. Both adults and children enjoy this traditional song while Knorr's beautiful illustrations are worthy of the seasonal favorite. The book appeals to a broader audience by relating the religious meanings behind the song. Don't miss the scenes with the seven swans cavorting in a pool or the luminous angel carrying five golden rings on a cushion.



2. My 7 children love this book. We read it from Thanksgiving all the way to CHRISTmas. I haven't researched the book out to know if it is the motive behind the song The Twelve Days of CHRISTmas. But when I read the story it makes so much sense as I have always wondered how they thought up this song. For example,The 5 Golden Rings represents the first 5 books of the Bible and the 9 Ladies Dancing represents the Fruit of the Spirit. The pictures are beautiful and colorful. Children of all ages love the book as demonstrated in my family with children ages 5 months - 13 years. It's definitely a great book to start a family tradition.

1. This little book was a hit with my grandson. We read it over and over. He loves the artwork and feeling the fuzzy "animal" fur! It is just long enough to keep his interest.

1. This delightful story takes you on a journey with a frustrated easter bunny who has missed easter after oversleeping. Not only does one get to experience all the holidays of the year, but one also appreciates the aspects unique to easter.It also serves a good lesson to those children who are loathe to get out of bed. The story is charming and the illustartions are joyful. A treasure!



2. Oh nooo! The Easter bunny slept through Easter. He wakes up and heads out and quickly learns what happened as people refuse his eggs.
   
   He tries to hand them out by becoming the 4th of July bunny and he tries to give them away for Halloween. No luck! Nobody wants them and some are annoyed he was late.
   
   Eventually he ends up in the North Pole and Santa puts him to work making toys. He also rides with him to help distribute presents as he can get down smaller chimneys better then Santa.
   
   Santa gives him a nice present. A gold time clock so he never misses Easter again.
   
   Overall it's a nice story but I don't think my girl really likes it. For me the words didn't flow right for a bedtime story.
   
   The art work is cute but so far has not interested my girl to want to look at it like she does with other books.
   
   Oh well.....
