4 comments about Falcon 4.0 : Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
- This book has helped me so much on Falcon 4,science it is A VERY COMPLICATED SIM!
- Written by Pete "BOOMER" Bonanni and Jamie "LINUS" Reiner, 2 actual F-16 pilots gives this book an even more authentic feel and there true experiences they share with the reader sure give you an idea of the tough job a Viper pilot has. The book is well thought out with 25 chapters and 7 appendix's devoted to all areas of the sim. It will surely add to your enjoyment of Falcon 4.0 ORDER IT NOW!!!
- 5 stars eh? yeah the book deserves more than five if you ask me.If you thought that manual was huge this would look very thin in front of it but boy o boy it sure have a punch in it.What can i say more it really improved my games and now i am enjoying the game more and more Thanx Peter And James for such an excellent book
- The Falcon 4.0 Simulator (*not* a game) is a very good facsimile of an F-16 and its operating environment. The sim manual is very comprehensive and very good, but this book should be required reading if you want to further your air-to-air and air-to-ground skills and compete in the campaigns, especially if you fly multi-player. I reference this book and review the tactical concepts constantly.
Of particular importance are the anecdotes, or personal *real-life* stories that Pete presents at the head of each section. These are more than just "war" stories, they are stories with an important lesson to be learned, and they apply to the *virtual-life* experiences that you'll have in the sim. If you fly Falcon 4.0, you need this book.

2 comments about Final DOOM Game Secrets: Unauthorized (Secrets of the Games Series.).
- This book was very helpful to me. I bought the Final Doom game a month ago and i've been looking all around for a book on it to help me. It has a clear description of the maps and has good detail on everything on where to go and find the keys to get into the locked doors. I beat this game in one night. And I will still play this game over and over as long as I have this book.
- I got Final DOOM about two years ago then spent one year looking for a guide for it. I found this, and bought it immediately. I was having trouble with Level 31 in TNT, and I hoped that maybe this guide would help. How the author made it through level 31 really confuses me, because it is unbeatable (it has no yellow key). Other than for that, the strategies really are not that helpful. But really, this guide really is not that bad. Since it is the only Final DOOM guide, and Final DOOM is hellishly hard, you should get the guide. The custom maps are great and are actually very helpful. You can look for where the keys are placed here. Except for some confusing things, I suggest you get this.

5 comments about Resident Evil (Prima's Official Strategy Guide).
- Okay, so you just bought the remake of Resident Evil and are looking foward to kicking some zombies' rotting butts. Only one problem: where the heck do you go to get farther into the game? Well, this strategy guide should tell ya...If you're playing as Jill. The people who wrote this startegy guide should be ashamed. They forgot that it's a multiple character game. They show you what to do as if you were playing as Jill. Instead of writing two seperate strategies they just tride to slide some of Chris' here and there. If you want to get through the game as Chris, definately DO NOT buy this strategy guide, go with the other one by Brady Games.
- Whatever this guide is missing I can guarantee BradyGAMES has got it, and whatever this guide has good of Bradygames don't got.
To start the guide is a fairly good lentgh. But it would've been nice to have a seperate walkthrough of Chris as you have to find it out as you read. The items list and such is great! The strategies for defeating enemies are great and they actually tell you how to CONSERVE your ammo unlike the BradyGAMES guide. The walkthrough however can be very confusing at times, but how much is packed onto one page is incredible. Some of the screens are in the wrong place (but they are EXTREMELY good at explaining what to do you don't need any screens really). But as I mentioned earlier the guide completely leaves out chris. But the maps are beautiful. The guide is so detailed and precise. The sealed secrets sectio is also impressive. But the fact that it spoils the ending made this guide lose a star, but I didn't have to heat to hold it against them since it was in the SEALED SECRETS section. Puzzle solutions are also brilliant, and they have great suggestions on what to do with certain items. The guide is better than I thought it would be as I was disappointed with some of the others, but the guide is by far the better pick out of the two. OVERALL: Positive +AMAZING MAPS +VERY GOOD PUZZLE SOLUTIONS +Actually tells you the difference between game modes +Very in depth on secrets +Good weapon strategies +Is mor focused on conserving ammo +Tells you how to get all six different endings! Negative -Where the hell is Chris? Small call outs to his game but not good enough -A little bit disorganized but still readable -Spoils the endings
- This is not the only Prima guide I have. Prima has the best format. I have Prima guides for all the Resident Evils and various other games. I've tried others that are good, but Prima makes the best.
If you have a choice between Prima or another brand, choose Prima. (Sorry for sounding like a commercial.)
- This guide is real good it walks you through the game, but still doesnt spoil it
- Prima makes the best strategy guides around. No one will match their perfection when it comes to detail. This guide is no different. The guide has a good set-up and gives you information on how to unlock all the games secrets. Maps are provided for all the areas as you go through the guide. There is a cool Wesker Report in the back that explains the Resident Evil series up to Code Veronica. This guide also explains details for defeating the Battle Mode.
One thing I hate in some guides is the lack of maps. This guide gives you a map on the same page as the information. Instead of flipping through pages to find out if you are going the right direction, this guide gives you a map for every single piece of gameplay. If you enter an area forty times, you will see the map forty times to prevent looking back in the guide for it.
This guide is very well formatted. Anyone with Resident Evil: Code Veronica X should pick this one up for an easy walkthrough. If you are looking for maps, secrets, or help with battle mode, it is all in here.

4 comments about MegaMan(tm) Battle Network 4: Red Sun & Blue Moon Official Strategy Guid (Official Strategy Guides (Bradygames)).
- WOW!!! This book does a good job of presenting the game, the only thing that keeps it from the fifth star is the fact that both stories are intertwined in the book instead of being separated. The p.a (program advance) list is extensive and the battle chip list is great along with the soul unison list. Everything you need is in this book.
- This is a great strategy guide but the game isn't that good. Enough said.
- This guide gave me the tools I needed to beat the 'final' boss, Duo. And since I hadn't played any of the other Battle Network games, it provided good explanations for the Program Advances and how all of that worked, which definitely was a big help. By the way, my name is in the end credits--I'm the guy who won the contest from Washington, DC, but they left the 'o' out of my first name. That's okay, Capcom, I forgive you... I highly recommend the guide. Absolutely.
- This strategy guide is very specific, and very helpful. It helps explain the whole game, even after you pass the final boss. It helps alot with both games, Red Sun and Blue Moon. One should really get it.

5 comments about Dark Cloud : Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
- I thought it will help me a lot but all I got was an advice to play the entire game with one character (what you will do anyway) the game is easy without it save the money and buy "devil may cry" and its official guide belive me it's better.
- Given a game where the dungens change every time you play them, I think they did pretty good. The guide lines out the aranging of the villages pretty good. It's main weak point is it's lack of help on monsters, like their attributes and such. Still worth the money though
- Dark Cloud is a very random game, with its dungens, when you get people and their houses, items, weapons, ect, which makes making a guide about it very hard. But with what could have been put in the guide to make it at least worth a purchase, Prima didn't put hardly any worth while info in. In fact, one of these reasons is probably why you bought/want to buy this strat guide. You probably expected...
1.) Detailed maps of where to put peoples homes, and their requirements to make them happy (probably your primary reason for getting/wanting to get this) 2.) Enemy and bosses weaknesses, and how to dispatch them in a format that is clear and not confusing as heck 3.) A detailed layout of what each weapons strengths are when you get them, and/or a layout of each requirement for the weapons to be able to build them up 4.) A list of what each items price is, what shops have what items, and where to find them Well if you expected any of those, then you're sadly mistaken. Prima decided to keep the strat guide at a bare minimum of info, lacking almost everything that is needed to make it considered a strat guide and not an over-glorified handbook that comes with the game. In a nutshell this guide just tells you... 1.) What weapons build up to what (none of the requirements, stats, or anything else useful though) 2.) A little very biased characters guide, favoring Ruby over every other character in the game (which is pointed out in almost every chapter when you get her making you probably hate her by the time the book's done) 3.) Tons of worthless information. Such as talk to the villagers (well duh), the names of each of the villagers and some info on them, what water pools does in every chapter like you're going to forget every 5 minutes, ect 4.) A very clunky guide on how to fight bosses (It took me 6 trys at the Ice Queen even after disecting the boss guide since it didn't tell me jack about her attacks other than "...her attacks will freeze you in place" and "...she will attack and defend relentlessly". Prima nicely neglected to state that in order to get to the ice queen you have to dodge tornado attacks as well as her constantly following ice blast that doesn't leave you alone. In other words, very little effort was put into telling you how to dispatch bosses) 5.) Just a brief skimming over what each item does (nothing special, but you can just select the item in your menu and it tells you what it does making this info worthless) 6.) A list of georama analysis over what items are required to trigger an event (Which is rather pointless, due to you can just ask the villagers. Besides, you have to talk to the villagers to find out what they want before you can put the required item in it's proper slot anyway. This was just added in the strat guide to take up space much like everything else) Almost everything in this strat guide is just worthless information that you can find out by exploring, reading the handbook that came with the game, and just talking to villagers. If you're stuck at a part in Dark Cloud, this guide will probably not provide you with much more than just colored pictures, and telling you that Ruby is the best. All in all, after reading this strat guide I didn't get anything out of it other than what each weapon can build up to, which was a great disappointment considering what the price is of this thing. If everything that is worthless info was cut out of this guide, it would just be about the size of a 2 page pamplet of what info is worth while...it's not worth a purchase, let alone your time looking through it.
- this guide is the best i beat all the bosses 1 try,

1 comments about Ratchet: Deadlocked (with DVD) (Prima Official Game Guide).
- I got this guide a little bit after the game. It's really helpfull. It helped me beat the game. It gives you descriptions of every gun and mod, and armor. The walkthrough is also good too. And it gave me a really good tip on how to beat Vox in the end. So if you have trouble with this game, buy the guide, it will help.
