- I love this game. You get to use Spain and they even speak Castillian Spanish just like my Grandparents speak it. Really smooth gameplay, Great Online play I could play this game everyday all day for years and not get sick of it. I have been playing it since day one when it came out and I still love it. My only favorite P.C game title I still enjoy. Lots of great stuff in this game. Create own maps, download maps, Create characters, Awesome Map editor with the ability to use triggers. This game rips and always will. Santiago!!! Guerra!!!!
- One> I am attending an AOK TC competition in 3 days. I needed a quick reference to all the civilizations which is found in this book plus strategies against and for. Two> Knowledge is power - info in the net may be diverse but it isn't complete. This book caters to my immediate needs. Three> If your sick of your performance against a 'Hard' skilled computer - I suggest you grab this book. Ages of Empires and Kings is a thinking man's game - it is the new age Chess or Toy Soldier game in full real-time.
- The book gave what was needed and some more: how to beat each misson with flying colors, detailed descriptions of every civilization, strategies on how to win at multiplayer, and much more. the only down side was that if you buy this the game loses some of its chalenge.

2 comments about The 11th Hour: The Sequel to the 7th Guest: The Official Strategy Guide (Secrets of the Games Series.).
- If anyone likes mind boggling games (well stradegy games at least), then you'll love the sequal to 7th guest! this book helps you get through all the puzzles and mazes which await you ahead! I love this game and the 7th Guest will always be my favorite game so this game is then my second fav! try it and you'll see for yourself!
- This guide is essentially all anyone could ask for in a hint book. For players of "The 11th Hour" who need just the slightest nudge, to people who are so turned around they can't tell the kitchen from the library, this is the book for you. The first half contains the whole story, told from the perspective of Carl. Carl gives the reader a more in-depth look at the Stauf house, and provides some useful background information on the events of the previous game, "The 7th Guest." This narrative section will guide the reader in the right direction without giving away the actual solution to the puzzle currently being solved. It also clarifies what is currently happening in the game, in case the reader is having some difficulty following the twisted story line. It gives the various alternate endings an explanation, too, and warns which is the correct one so the reader doesn't spoil the surprise. After the narrative, the book contains the full solutions to the puzzles, the original script to the game, and an interview with the game's inventors. All in all, a wonderfully detailed book that is as thoroughly interesting to read as it is helpful.

5 comments about Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories - The Official Strategy Guide.
- Disagea 2 is a great game in many respects. It uses the old school boxes on a map , turn based system (which I happen to love) with a concept similar to games like Super Robot Wars or Final Fantasy tactics but with a twist. The characters are outrageous and there is no limit to how "powerful" you want to make your characters.. this can make for some crazy attacks with abnormous amounts of HP and crazy damage done if you choose to spend a of time with the game. All in all it's a fun game; one worth playing, with a high replay value.
- I am blown away with every Doublejump guide I buy. The amount of detail they cram into these guides is insane. You can tell the writers at Doublejump have a passion for the games they create guides for, and a deep understanding of those games as well.
The presentation of this guide is excellent, as is every Doublejump guide. The paper feels thick, and the pages are colorful and easy to read. One thing I really appreciate is how they invert a section of the guide called "Spoilers" so you can be sure you won't flip a page and find out something you wish you hadn't!
As another reviewer has already said, I now consider buying games if they have a Doublejump guide. The extra price is well worth it, if only all guides could be this complete and well written!
- No really, they rock. Best strategy guides in the industry. Did I mention they rock?
- This is a really, REALLY detailed guide - perfect for such a deep and addictive strategy game. It has just about everything you could need to really blast the game apart. Only niggling issue is - some of the print is quite small (the book is paperback size) and hard to read especially late at night when my eyes aren't at their best! Heartily recommended if you like the game and want to really get into it - I bought it from Australia and had to pay an extra $20 for freight, but it is still worth every penny at that price.
- I read many guides before and they rarely tell me something I don't know, but this Gide for Disgaea 2 is not one of them. The guide is about as big as your average paper back, but it packs more then 600 pages, and two thirds of the book is tips, tables, facts and stats. The last third is a second walkthrough section but with spoilers and secrets, and it is also inverted (pages bound upside down) to lessen the chance of you ruining any surprises by opening up to the wrong page.
I feel this is a worthy guide for anyone needing help or and extra edge in dominating the game.

5 comments about Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (Prima's Official Strategy Guide).
- We have all the Spryo games and now we have all the Spryo strategy books to go along with the games. These books have always been helpful and are very inexpensive. If you have this game for a child then this book will help them get through certain parts of the game as well as show them things they didn't even know about.
- This book is cool. This may help me finish ETD when I buy it! This book is even better than you thought!
- Hay!,
I turned on my gameboy, went on my file......and gues WATE!My file was erased!and i worked so hared!I had 36 fierflys,1256 gems and was at crestelplanes!wwwwwwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa!
- And when you do, you'll be glad to have this book. The wandering ground is slightly expanded and things have gotten harder. Great tips on getting through the races. Don't play w/out this.
- Awesome!this tells you where all of the dragonflies are if you get stuck. There is also lots of good navigational advice.Very thorough game coverage...it's all here.

5 comments about .hack Infection (Part 1) Official Strategy Guide.
- Ok, for one thing I agree that you might not need a stradegy guide for it but if you like to use them like me I sugest this stradegy guide! But they could of added some stuf the guide is pretty short but the game is pretty short too expecially for what you had to pay for it before 50.00!!!!!!!!!! Also i very recomend FF10.
- This guide isn't bad but it is missing some key info.
1. Left out some item location. a few item locations were left out. While they are not that important, that shouldnt happen at all.
2. Did not provide repsond for each character. Through out the game you can email you party member to gain GP. The proper respond allows you to gain extra points.
3. Did not cover enough on the very important Monsieur and Grandpa sidequest.
Other than that the guide has everything you would need about this game.
- Being new to the .Hack series, I have found the guide extremly helpful in pointing out few tips and pointers to help you with the game.
Anyone wanting to know Monster Stats, Item, Weapon and Trading Lists will not be disappointed, plus the excellent Grunty raising guide which provides you with High Level Weapons and Items very early on in the game!.
Overall a very satisfying guide!
Thank you, Doug Walsh.
- This book was definitely helpful in a lot of ways. I did notice that there were some things that it did omit, but in a way that's a good thing. You can go through the game yourself this way and do a bit more exploring than the book goes through, so you can find things on your own. Over all this is a good buy.
- this guide was everything I needed it for. The dungeon maps and the lists of the different items I could get and where and from what have come in handy many times as I have played the game. Also, my main goal for the first time i play the game is to get thru the story to unlock the movies and so on.... this guide has so far helped me to do just that....

2 comments about Sonic(tm) Riders Official Strategy Guide (Official Strategy Guides (Bradygames)).
- When I heard about the latest speed racing game with Sonic The Hedgehog, I definitely was interested in what made the guide tick. What Brady Games made out of the strategy guide for Sonic Racers for the PS2, Nintendo Gamecube, and Xbox was not what I was expecting it to be. The guide showcased the requirements for each of the characters, but I was wrong about the whole feeling about the maps. The maps were definitely flawed a little bit out of focus, and didn't really display the game and each of the tracks as detailed as gamers would need the help. I just hope that another company puts out a better strategy guide for Sonic Riders.

5 comments about Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Official Strategy Guide.
- I have to say say than when I get stuck this helps me out a lot. Thanks Bradygames.
- I'll be honest with you. This book is designed really well. It is one of two BradyGames books right now in the "Signature" series -- strategy guides that feature higher-quality paper, very well-designed walkthroughs, and an extra like a poster. Unlike other guides, you don't get lost in all the small text trying to figure out where you were reading when you last looked up from the book. The strategy actually goes guard-by-guard, so you can use it if you're stuck trying to get past a specific guard, or you can use it to walk you through the whole game.
The reason I gave this guide four out of five stars is because it really only contains the minimum information you need to complete the game. Sure, there are blurbs about secrets and stuff, but I just didn't get the feeling that this was a book chock full of "insider's info" on MGS2.
- I was almost finished with Metal Gear Solid 2 when I stopped playing for almost a year. When I went to play again, I realized that I didn't remember the story that well and I didn't remember the layout of the area I was in. I decided to restart the game, but this time use a guide to make sure that I don't miss any items and to quickly get through the areas I had already played. Since this was the only guide available, I picked it up.
Some reviews of this guide make mention that the guide is not actually needed to complete the game and that simply playing the game is all the strategy that one needs. That may very well be, but I don't think that applies in reviewing the guide. What matters is that the guide has all of the necessary information required to complete the game and not miss any items and that it includes tips on how to beat the bosses. This guide has all of that and is very valuable in completing the game. While many things can be discovered by trial and errors, this guide will get you through the game with no trouble (the only trouble may come in actually applying the strategies to beat a boss). The most valuable aspect of this guide comes in that it details on a map the patrol patterns of the guards. Knowing in advance how far a guard will patrol is very useful in planning your path though the level. If capturing the dog tags from the soldiers is important to you (and if you want the bonus items, it should be important), the guide provides useful strategies on how to get every dog tag in the game (on normal mode). I tried out some of them, and it worked just as the guide suggested. I wasn't that interested in collecting the dog tags my first time completing the game, so I didn't spend the time to collect them all. As far as I could tell, the strategies were spot on. One thing I should mention is that the strategies to get the dog tags and for beating the game apply to the normal difficulty setting. Since some things change on the higher difficulty levels, the guide is probably not as useful for mastering the game on the highest difficulty. Using this guide for the normal difficulty level, this is an excellent guide that will take you through the game and not spoil and story points. If you feel you need a guide for Metal Gear Solid 2, this one is well worth your money.
- This guide is the most helpful when you are stuck at a certain place in the game that seems impossible to get past!!! The guide is in-depth and simple at the same time. If your stuck then this guide is for you. (this guide is CHEAP and easy to buy to help you)
- If you want to play this game with a strategy guide, then your best option is to forget Bradygames and Prima, because authorisedcollection has a much much more detailed and thorough explanation of the game. I had a look at the reviews that 4 or 5 stars are put, they just didn't know what real strategy guide should look at. If you want to have the ranking of the legendary "Big Boss" in the game, go try authorisedcollection guide, otherwise you are just wasting your time playing this game. I'm not trying to offend Bradygames and Prima, but authorisedcollection series the best.
If you are a Final Fantasy fan, go and compare guides from authorisedcollection and bradygames and you will know what I meant above.

5 comments about Microsoft Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion: Inside Moves (Bpg Other).
- This is a great book IF you are already aware of all the existing strengths and weaknesses of the civilizations that are not new to the Conquerors Edition. In other words, you better have the previous book if you want complete knowledge of all the civilizations.
That having been said, the depth of the analysis for each of the new civilizations is impressive. It tells you everything you need to do to use a civilization's strengths to their best advantage. There is very little general training here, and so is not the right book for 'beginners'. I makes a fine addition to the knowledge base of an already experienced user who needs depth on what's NEW in this edition.
- If you play campaigns and need help, this is the book for you. Over 2/3's of the book is devoted to walking you through the campaigns. If however, if campaigns are a thing of the past for you and you are trying to refine your skills to play against other people... this book is of little help. There are a couple of pages detailing the newest civs to TC, not much more info is offered than what comes with the aoe documentation. There are a few strategies that are described that are pretty basic and are useful if you've never or hardly played before. There is a section that supposedly has tips from the actual ES testers (3 I think)...pretty weak because everyone's preferences are always debatable. Anyway, they pretty much just give their opinions on what civ, what unit and combinations they like best. (To kill your curiosity, most chose Mayans for the archer/eagle scout combo.) Adding links in the book to aoe websites is a waste of space. You're better off going to Google and typing in 'AOK TC' and getting hundreds of links to sites that people actually use. So... since I don't really play campaigns anymore and I am a person trying to find resources to get better playing against other people, I found this book a waste of money. I only gave it an extra star because it details the campaigns pretty good.
- This game is the best game I ever played. I wish I could buy it, but my parents say I can't because they need the computer for taxes and bills and also they don't let me in case it ruins the computer like one of my other games. So I play it at a friend's house. I never seem to get enough of playing it so I am sometimes late home. It is really interesting because some of this is like real life because each civilization is unique in it's own way with special things like each of their special units. Now I guess the only way to but it is if I buy a new computer so I can play on it, because my mom doesn't like me playing the game all the time.
- this book was sooo helpful that it would have taken me twice as long just to complete the scenarios, much less find all the secrets. the illustrations helped, not hinderd, the very deep walkthroughs that used multiple strategies instead of just one straightforward killing spree. i like working alone so when i'm playing true to history by playing as the byzantines and defending against the huns, turks, saracens, teutons, goths, persians and the franks all at once this is my greek fire against them. with it's help i bash aside their light cavalry and charge through their heavy infantry to take the heart out of each and every civilization and leave nothing standing except for mountains upon mountains of skulls... thats why i call myself nick the butcher.
- This book is decent for the price, it gives nice reference material. Just don't look for a lot of tips and strategies here, especially ones that haven't been tried already.
