5 comments about The Art of Mass Effect.
  1. I like this book just wished there were more character drawings. But it has great landscape work. The only really down was my book in the middle of it was damaged. It looks like the printing machine damaged the pages durning printing, but I will live with it.

  2. I found this book by chance at the local bookstore and decided to take a chance on it. I wasn't disappointed; however, the art isn't phenomenal. It offers a nice variety of designs for settings, vehicles, gear and, of course, characters for the video game Mass Effect (which I haven't played). Most impressive, form my standpoint, were the character designs, but these were not spectacular - just nice. This is, however, a very well-produced book, and would probably be best for fans of the game, rather than someone looking for a good "Art of..." book.

  3. If you are looking at this book, you are most likely a fan of Mass Effect. The book is filled cover to cover with gorgeous artwork that was used to frame the overall look of the game. Is it worth owning? Well, if you are a fanatic then yes. If you are an artist I would say yes. It has little snippets of text, but they are mostly captions for the images.

Not for everyone, but a nice piece to have if you are a big fan of the game.

    Joel

  4. 1.
    it's nice book.
i think it's worth the money..considering the price..

    2.
but artworks in this book simply aren't state of the art
    comparing to other game artbooks.
i purchased this book with art of assassin's creed,
and art of midway and some others....

i was more impressed with their artworks, not from mass effect.

    3.
it was good to see their process,
and how they developed their initial concepts.

simply i loved the results. mass effect was truly so-called
ground breaking next gen game experiences....
they pulled off with very limited
    resources.

  5. It is the first artbook which I have bought here. It is truly magnificent. I saw set of artbooks and I can tell, that this is made perfectly. A convenient cover and high quality of a paper - this book is simply pleasant for holding in hands. On a shelf it also is looked good.
Wonderful set of illustrations, sketches and beautiful pictures. All it is supplied with comments of developers. In my opinion in detail enough.

Must have for Mass Effect fans)
P.S.Except for that here it is cheaper than in shop;) And yes, I'm Mass Effect fan)))

5 comments about Baseball Hacks: Tips & Tools for Analyzing and Winning with Statistics (Hacks).
  1. I recently purchased this book hoping to be able to apply some of my recent work-related statistics training to baseball stats. It promises step-by-step instructions that 'anyone' can follow. While the instructions are step-by-step, if you have no computer experience outside of Windows (like me) you will almost certainly be frustrated very early on.

My first hiccup was in hack #10, step 4, in which the author jumps to using Unix commands without mentioning that fact. Fortunately, I have a friend familiar with both Unix and MySQL who was able to get me through that particular hack by installing a GUI and importing the files through it. For those who are stumped on that particular step, jump to hack #18, install a GUI, and import the DataBank files as a script using the Query Editor.

I haven't proceeded much farther in the book, largely because I can already see the frustration to come from fumbling my way through Perl. The author gives very rudimentary instructions in the language, followed by more 'easy to use' scripts. The problem is the scripts are based on filenames and information that is more than a year out of date. This will require editing the scripts, something a programming illiterate such as myself will find challenging at best.

So after all these complaints, why did I still rate the book a 3? Because I'm trying to be fair. I've read through the rest of the book without trying to apply anything, and if you are at least familiar with MySQL, Unix, and Perl you'll probably get a lot out of it. The tools presented appear to be very powerful. Also, since I'm familiar with Access, the hacks for using it have been helpful. Unfortunately, the instructions in the book assume a basic level of programming knowledge on the part of the reader, despite the author's contention that they do not. If you can't tell a Unix prompt from a DOS prompt, this book is not the answer to your stat-processing prayers.

  2. This book is uniquely geared toward the database-literate and technology-literate baseball fan. The author shows all kinds of ways to gather free baseball statistics over the Internet, load them into databases, and then to build reports and queries against them. If this sounds even vaguely interesting to you, this book will entertain you for hours - and it might help you with your fantasy baseball picks, too.

The book contains 75 hacks to help you acquire and analyze baseball statistics. O'Reilly publishes a whole series of hacks books and in this context, a hack is basically a solution to a problem. It is an idea or piece of code that can be used to further your understanding and knowledge of baseball. If you follow the daily baseball box scores, review historical statistics, or play fantasy baseball, you will definitely enjoy these hacks.

If you are a new baseball fan that likes the game but is befuddled by all the terms and statistics thrown around, Baseball Hacks can help. Even some long-term baseball fans don't understand things like slugging average, OPS, or DIPS. But Baseball Hacks explains them and how to derive them.

If you are an open source proponent, and a baseball fan, you'll definitely want to take advantage of hack #10, which shows you how to get a MySQL database of player and team statistics. Rather use Microsoft Access? You'll want hack #9.

Really. Baseball Hacks is a great book for the database/baseball nerd in all of us. If you are looking for a way to merge your profession with a hobby, look no further than picking up a copy of Baseball Hacks.

  3. This book takes a fairly different approach to baseball statistics. The author goes thru and explains most all of the newer statistics. The real meat of this work is teaching the reader how to build his or her own data bases free of charge by importing information from various websites. My sense is that to really benefit from the data base aspects the reader must have a pretty good acumen for dealing with computer programing. Even though the author provides precise step by step help with codes. Still, I would say most baseball fans who enjoy statistics will benefit from this.

  4. Baseball Hacks: Tips & Tools for Analyzing and Winning with Statistics (Hacks), which comes with download able scripts from the O'Reilly site, shows how to do SABR metrics like the big league analysts.

If, like me, you wish to use only the free, or open source, programs on Linux, you are in for significant work. I could not get R, (the statistical analysis program much like S-Plus,) to work under Ubuntu. I was able to get it to work under the SuSE version of Linux. If exploring Baseball Statistics is like the Lewis and Clark expedition, Adler is your Pocohantuas!

What satisfaction comes from comparing baseball intuition with computerized analysis of the vast databases of baseball statistics! The American economy would be much more efficient if lessons from Baseball Hacks were applied to enterprise management.

  5. You have to be a programmer to do much with the code in this book. There is no robust system to download you can just run. However, it goes beyond programming and has a lot of explanations of advanced baseball statistics. Mostly historical statistics such as "Was Barry Bond's better then Babe Ruth and how do we use statistics to tell?". The world could stand to have a few more books involving baseball and programming.

5 comments about Winning at Internet Poker For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech)).
  1. I met one of the authors at a dinner, and he was so articulate and enthusiastic about online poker that I became interested in it-although before that, I had never once thought about online poker in my life (seriously). Later I mentioned the conversation to my 77-year-old dad who had been playing "some" online bridge when he wasn't crashing AOL, and he decided to try it. Well, long story short: while I got this book to see what I've been missing all this time, and read it just for fun (and it was fun, too, written with a sense of humor, and full of information), my dad was getting extremely frustrated and starting to hate the whole idea. After hearing him grumble more times than I could count, I went over to his house, sat down with him, and-completely based on what I'd read in this book-got him up and playing comfortably on a site in about an hour and half.(While reassuring my mom over my shoulder at the same time...) He's been playing ever since, but I'm still too chicken, having played a lot more Yahtzee than poker growing up. Anyway, the book was very helpful for two beginners: a non-poker-playing, computer-confident woman and her un-computer-savvy father who's been playing cards for more than six decades.

  2. First off this is not a 'WINNING AT INTERNET POKER' book...it is a 'EXPLANATION OF INTERNET POKER'. I bought this book hoping to learn something. The first (and I am not exaggerating this) 2/3 of the book has nothing to do with actual poker playing. Throughout those chapters they discuss how to use your computer to choose and download a poker program. I saw that they had a chapter on tournaments. All they do is simply explain the enviroment of the tourney (i.e. how many people are in certain tournaments, how much you have to pay to get into them...) You will not learn any actual strategies or what to do in certain situations. I recommend buying this book if you have never in your life played any poker over the internet. If you saw the world series of poker on your TV and thought to yourself 'hey maybe i can play online' then right at that point this book wouldn't be the worst idea. Let me take an exerpt from the book...page 18 5th paragraph..."If your screen is kind of fuzzy, and you don't normally stare at it for excessive periods of time, you may want to consider upgrading to a new monitor. Gawking at fuzzy images for hours at a time is draining,"...

And if you want more examples of what you are in for buy the book and read the whole thing. Once again to emphasize...YOU WILL NOT BETTER YOUR GAME BY READING THIS BOOK, IT IS A WASTE OF TIME.

  3. I didn't think much of this book when I borrowed it from a friend, but after a few pages I had changed my mind. It's a great book that will teach you to become a very good poker player.

  4. Good for people that know little about playing online. Not much info on playing the game itself.

  5. i thought there was alot of good information and i got my books very quickly. i will use this service again

5 comments about How to Draw the Legend of Zelda.
  1. I like this book a lot, but foir each charecter, there are only one pose. I love legend of zelda, so it automaticly gets 5 stars. but i reduced it to 4 cuz it only had the following:zelda, link, saria, ganon, deku scrub, link in a pose, a garon, and a tektite. i realy like twighlight princess, and wind waker, but it only had ocarina of time (also a great game). I think you should buy it if you want a blast from the past, or u r a total nerd(i'm a nerd :]).

  2. I'm not a kid, I'm just too lazy to sign up for amazon.

If you've ever used a How to Draw disney book, you'll recognize the similar steps here, which is a good thing. But to those who have been complaining that it is too complicated for kids, read this: Bambi and the Little Mermaid weren't drawn by kids, and niether was Zelda. Furthermore adding to the ridiculousness of these aruments is that Zelda isn't even a kid's game to start with, it's VERY violent. Back on topic, It takes a serious artist years to learn these techniques.

This is a very nice drawing book for those interested in the characters. But be prepared to practice for many months. That's what it takes to draw cartoons, unlike portraits.

  3. Remember those how-to-draw books you picked-up as a kid? Like, how to draw cats, dogs, cars, trees, or whatever? This book runs in that genre. The book is very short, and was meant for children roughly 9-12. It plays heavily on the "make it out of basic shapes, and then refine it" technique. The first steps usually involve drawing different sets of triangles, circles, or rectangles, which eventually lead to the character you're drawing. The "finished drawings" aren't so hot, usually done with very thick lines all around. As said, this is better for kids. It is, however, worth picking up at the library and taking a look at, if you want. If you do like it, after sampling it, then sure, buy it. ;D
The best way to learn to draw Zelda characters, currently, is through learning anime or cartoon-animation styles of drawing, and then using official Zelda art as reference when you draw those characters.

  4. The book covers a step by step on how to draw, but did not cover a lot of the characters in the game

  5. This is a VERY light book with VERY little in the way of artistic instruction. It looks like it was made on a copy machine.

Child was psyched but after 20 min it was over and she was back to copying things herself from the actual art.

2 comments about The Sims 2 Revised: Prima Official Game Guide (Prima Official Game Guides).
  1. If you don't get this book you won't fully understand all the featues of the sims 2. Everything you need to know is there.

  2. When I ordered this, I was expecting a small, slim little guide with a few tips and strategies. I mean, how much could there be to a computer game? So as you can imagine, I was surprised when I pulled out a thick, 366 page book that broke down everything you could ever need to know (and more) about The Sims 2 into sections, explaining and describing everything, in detail, from Sim genetics, pre-made neighborhoods and the pre-made families that inhabit them, NPCs, Sim memories, Sim death, building a house... okay, I'm confusing myself (and probably you). Here is the complete chapter/section list:

    ---

    Part One: The Basics
-Chapter One: Getting To Know The Sims 2
    -Chapter Two: Getting Started

Part Two: Creating Families, Neighborhoods, And Sims
-Chapter Three: Welcome To The Neighborhood
    -Chapter Four: Create-A-Sim And Genetics
    -Chapter Five: Simology

Part Three: It's A Lot Like Life
-Chapter Six: The Six Ages Of Sims: Playing The Generation Game
    -Chapter Seven: Needs
-Chapter Eight: Aspirations, Wants, And Fears
    -Chapter Nine: Skills
    -Chapter Ten: Careers And School
    -Chapter Eleven: Social Interactions
    -Chapter Twelve: Family Life
    -Chapter Thirteen: NPCs
    -Chapter Fourteen: Community Lots
    -Chapter Fifteen: Objects
-Chapter Sixteen: Disasters, Disease, And Death

Part Four: All In The Family: Sims In Action
-Chapter Seventeen: The Ex-Machina Family Blog

    Part Five:
    -Chapter Eighteen: Build Mode
-Chapter Nineteen: Story Mode And Moviemaking
    -Chapter Twenty: Sim Autonomy
-Chapter Twenty-One: The Sims 2 Body Shop
    -Chapter Twenty-Two: Custom Content
    -Chapter Twenty-Three: Appendix A: Cheats

    ---

So, yes... if you play The Sims 2 at all, get this book. Even if you're just a casual player. I assure you, your Sim gaming experience will be much better. The only regret I have is not having this book around when I first started playing TS2.

5 comments about Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Official Strategy Guide.
  1. I have to say say than when I get stuck this helps me out a lot. Thanks Bradygames.

  2. I'll be honest with you. This book is designed really well. It is one of two BradyGames books right now in the "Signature" series -- strategy guides that feature higher-quality paper, very well-designed walkthroughs, and an extra like a poster. Unlike other guides, you don't get lost in all the small text trying to figure out where you were reading when you last looked up from the book. The strategy actually goes guard-by-guard, so you can use it if you're stuck trying to get past a specific guard, or you can use it to walk you through the whole game.

The reason I gave this guide four out of five stars is because it really only contains the minimum information you need to complete the game. Sure, there are blurbs about secrets and stuff, but I just didn't get the feeling that this was a book chock full of "insider's info" on MGS2.

  3. I was almost finished with Metal Gear Solid 2 when I stopped playing for almost a year. When I went to play again, I realized that I didn't remember the story that well and I didn't remember the layout of the area I was in. I decided to restart the game, but this time use a guide to make sure that I don't miss any items and to quickly get through the areas I had already played. Since this was the only guide available, I picked it up.

Some reviews of this guide make mention that the guide is not actually needed to complete the game and that simply playing the game is all the strategy that one needs. That may very well be, but I don't think that applies in reviewing the guide. What matters is that the guide has all of the necessary information required to complete the game and not miss any items and that it includes tips on how to beat the bosses. This guide has all of that and is very valuable in completing the game. While many things can be discovered by trial and errors, this guide will get you through the game with no trouble (the only trouble may come in actually applying the strategies to beat a boss). The most valuable aspect of this guide comes in that it details on a map the patrol patterns of the guards. Knowing in advance how far a guard will patrol is very useful in planning your path though the level. If capturing the dog tags from the soldiers is important to you (and if you want the bonus items, it should be important), the guide provides useful strategies on how to get every dog tag in the game (on normal mode). I tried out some of them, and it worked just as the guide suggested. I wasn't that interested in collecting the dog tags my first time completing the game, so I didn't spend the time to collect them all. As far as I could tell, the strategies were spot on.

One thing I should mention is that the strategies to get the dog tags and for beating the game apply to the normal difficulty setting. Since some things change on the higher difficulty levels, the guide is probably not as useful for mastering the game on the highest difficulty.

Using this guide for the normal difficulty level, this is an excellent guide that will take you through the game and not spoil and story points. If you feel you need a guide for Metal Gear Solid 2, this one is well worth your money.

  4. This guide is the most helpful when you are stuck at a certain place in the game that seems impossible to get past!!! The guide is in-depth and simple at the same time. If your stuck then this guide is for you. (this guide is CHEAP and easy to buy to help you)

  5. If you want to play this game with a strategy guide, then your best option is to forget Bradygames and Prima, because authorisedcollection has a much much more detailed and thorough explanation of the game. I had a look at the reviews that 4 or 5 stars are put, they just didn't know what real strategy guide should look at. If you want to have the ranking of the legendary "Big Boss" in the game, go try authorisedcollection guide, otherwise you are just wasting your time playing this game. I'm not trying to offend Bradygames and Prima, but authorisedcollection series the best.

If you are a Final Fantasy fan, go and compare guides from authorisedcollection and bradygames and you will know what I meant above.

5 comments about Playstation Nation: Protect Your Child from Video Game Addiction.
  1. This book was the push I need to stop game playing in our home. The authors spelled out exactly what was happening with my two boys and online game playing. It was like reading dialogue from my boys and I. Since, the boys stopped playing online games our entire household is a much more peaceful place with the boys spending their time playing outside, reading, using their imaginations and I am no longer the bad mom constantly telling the kids to get off the computer. I feel like our children, teens, and young men are having their lives stolen by computer games. It is a free choice but it is truly addictive. Think of the hours wasted playing online games, especially while a child is growing up. I have friends whose husbands spend hours playing games. What a loss. I recommend this book to all.

  2. I purchased this book because of my concern for my 12-year old son and his future. This book affirmed my strength to resist letting him lose: a zest for real life, social skills, and maturing. It's too easy to turn to a virtual world than to face the real world and build coping skills needed for life. Without being overly dramatic or too technical, the Bruner's provided factual and subjective information while citing other authors, sources, and scholars on video game addition.

  3. This book is well written and contains citations for the references used. There are an increasing number of kids and adults who fit the criteria that this book illustrates. It will teach you how to understand and deal with the newest addiction that is destroying families and children all over the world. This is an easy book to read and will give you the references to do your own homework on the issue as well.

  4. This book, and the idea it supports, is garbage. Video games are becoming yet another excuse for bad parenting, following in the footsteps of television.

Parents: stop trying to play the victim and raise your damn kids yourselves.

  5. I travel and speak about gaming addiction and right now this is the only book on gaming that I sell. I am going through this book for the second time because it is so good. If you are a parent and have a concern about your child's gaming this book is a great investment.

This books only limitation is that it has an over the shoulder point of view of gaming. The Bruner's lack of first hand experience sometimes shows. But what they lack in game experience they more than makeup for in parental expertise. I own several books on this topic and if you are a parent and you only buy one book on this subject you should buy Playstation Nation.

5 comments about Fire Emblem (Wii): Prima Official Game Guide (Prima Official Game Guides).
  1. it helped

    the end

    GOOD GAME!!!

  2. I strongly discourage the purchase of this guide. Prima demonstrates in this guide that, yet again, if you can't play the game their way, you can't play it at all. The guide is set up in a step-by-step format, telling you specifically what characters to be used, and when they are to be used, turn-by-turn. Because of Fire Emblem's chanciness, the advice offered by this guide is just short of absolutely useless. Utter garbage. Its sole saving grace is the art featured throughout the book.

  3. The stategies offer is so-so.
    Too little artworks.
Flaws and inaccuracy in the data section.

  4. This book is a great help for beginners and helps you reveal secret items around every corner within the game. But if you're planning not to spoil yourself like I myself. My words to you would be, not to buy it and experience all the action without the unnecessary spoilers for upcoming battles.

  5. When people buy strategy guides there are looking for a collection of facts that will allow them to develop a better strategy. This "guide" is little more than the author's turn-by-turn diary of the way he played the game. The enemy locations and stats are often wrong and only offered for Normal Mode, so if you're playing easy of hard mode you're on your own. The maps are often too dark or too small to get a good idea of how to approach the chapter (especially the one with the bridge). There is hardly any artwork, just screen shots of the game Dan Birlew (author) played. Its almost as if Prima new this guide sucked when they released it with the name premiere edition, certainly suggesting it wouldn't be the only edition. I really wish Nintendo Power would make their own (instead of teaming up with Prima) because their efforts on previous fire emblem game guides were far superior.

5 comments about Sims 2 Bon Voyage: Prima Official Game Guide (Prima Official Game Guides) (Prima Official Game Guides).
  1. i was very excited when this ep came out and hurried out to buy it. it has its glitches and changes. no longer can one delete various custom content as before in eyes, makeup..., problems like sims being stuck on vacation, beach towels multiplying over the entire vacation lot, ordering and paying for room service food but none shows up, vacation lot became corrupted, unusable, it would take up space to list it all, but they all do spoil game fun.

the biggest problem is the use of an anti piracy sony securom7, which lodges in ones computer with hidden files, registry keys which need hi tech knowledge to remove due to remaining after the game is uninstalled. many including myself have had our norton firewall quietly disabled , other reports have been disabled cd devices, unable to access email, sluggish internet to computer crashes. i have had some these problems myself and a search of other securom protected software have experienced these same problems and more.

i have uninstalled it as the glitches, in game errors, and securom7 do not equal enjoyment nor money well spent for me.

  2. I have been playing the Sims 2 since it first came out and have purchased all of the E.P.'s and mini E.P.'s. Bon Voyage is by far the one of the most enjoyable E.P.s . Not only do your Sims get to go on vacation to one of 3 exotic locations, but they get treasure hunt, dig for treasure maps and collectables, shopping for souveniers, and visiting each locations secret lots. There's lots to do and each location has it own unique style of hotels/camp grounds and locals who can teach your Sims a multitude of new interactions and skills. One even has a ninja that can teach your Sim how to "teleport" and make travelling from within a lot much faster. Also, there's "Big Foot" whom your Sims can meet at one of the secret lots and can befriend him, maybe even move in with your Sims. These are just a few of the many fun things to do with your Sims in this E.P.
    I give it * * * * *

  3. This is even better than I expected; it is my favorite expansion back. I highly recommend this one to all Sims players.

  4. I just got this game today and have just ordered the strategy guide from this site because it's no longer carried in stores.I'm really looking foward to getting this guide because I want to see where all the new stuff is located.Prima is usually pretty good at listing new stuff like funiture, electronics, plumbing etc.I'm also getting this guide to find out which motels have the best stuff with them. There is a patch that has just been released for this expansion pack so most of the problems listed by other reviewers should be fixed with it.From starting the game today this ep has new hairstyles, new turnons and turnoffs, you can get married and go on a honeymoon at one of the vacation locations, you can buy vacation homes etc.I really like that Maxis added the ability to swim in the ocean.I also like the new vacation tourist clothes they thru in.I've only been to 2 locations so far but there are 3 and after the install you can install all 3 of them at your location at one time.Example Pleasentville.I like the Tikki Beach area best because of the ocean and one of the vacation homes are located on the beach. If you don't have the money use the motherlode cheat to buy the vacation homes. You must get on the computer at your home and click on realestate then buy the vacation home. You can't do it while your on the island.I bought one of these homes their nice they have huge bedrooms and a big interior.I will probebly buy one at the other locations too.Their the same price as most homes in the neighborhoods.More info will be forthcoming when I get the guide.

  5. Sims 2 Bon Voyage: Prima Official Game Guide (Prima Official Game Guides) (Prima Official Game Guides)I have bought all the guides for the Sims2 games. This one is the best so far. In fact, I doubt I could play the "vacations" strategy very well if I did not have it. The information and instructions are also very well laid out. For example, the user needs to know how to set up, save money for and establish a "home base" for his or her vacation. Choices for the three vacation sites and what to do, if you have Seasons 2 loaded, are helpful too. Otherwise, much time will be lost trying to figure it all out. 5 comments about Halo 2: The Official Game Guide.
  1. Halo 2 is a very easy game and this guide will not tell you ANYTHING you won't find in about 3 minutes.

  2. Let me start off addressing some things. Some people don't find a need for this guide, and that's fine, but that doesn't mean others won't need it. Secondly, those who keep saying "Go online, go online, go online," seem to have forgotten two things. One: There are people who want the information in their lap and don't have a computer right next to their gaming system. The second is simple, some people are more visual learners. They learn the game by using maps and screenshots. For some, text just doesn't cut it. Using online guides is fine, but remember when you review a strategy guide you should actually be REVIEWING THE GUIDE, not blabbering whether or not one should use an online guide (if they wanted an online guide, do you think they'd waste time coming to Amazon to buy it?).

Anyway, with that out of my system, let's move on. Piggyback Interactive, for those who don't know, is a guide company in the UK. The moment you pick up one of their guides you'll be blown away! If you thought VERSUS BOOKS was good (before they went out of business) allow Piggyback to correct you.

The guide begins with over 50 pages of game basics. This means getting you to learn the controls, weapons, vehicles and enemies before actually diving into the walkthrough. For newcomers to Halo 2, this is a lifesaver.

The walkthrough is pretty detailed as well. They actually tell you a couple of differences between difficulty levels. You really have to utilize the maps though (which are vastly detailed beyond anything Prima, Brady, Versus, or even Nintendo Power put out). It's a guide that is written in the sense of, find the corresponding number in the text. In other words, if a "1" is marked on the map, find section "1" in the text.

The secrets also tell you all you need to know, and should there be a spoiler, they alert you before moving on.

Of course, even this guide has it's problems. For one, the maps are ridiculously cluttered, and there are too many symbols to remember. It's a good thing they have a fold out legend. Second, while the secrets are in-depth they didn't pin-point out easter eggs. And lastly (and this isn't a big one) there is just too much artwork taking up space where valuble text could've been. I don't say this to be funny, I say this because this guide weighs a ton with it's thick paper and all.

A fantastic guide though. If you can, log on and import piggyback interactive guides. If you need a guide for Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy X (or better yet, get their FFIX guide, NO PLAYONLINE THERE!), Metal Gear Solid 3 and the like, get Piggyback. You won't be disappointed.

  3. This is a work of art in itself. The pages show beautiful maps and killer strategies that cannot be challenged. This amazing book shows all weapons, enemies, vehicles and even secret areas. It has
unbeatable multiplayer strategies and shows all there is to Halo 2 on Xbox Live. Buy the superbly spectacular guide to the best game ever right now!

  4. Pros:
    Sturdy Cover
    Sturdy photo-like pages
    Great stratagey
    Screenshots
    Spoiler Warnings

    Cons:
None unless you dont like guides

    Review:
This guide was made in Bungie Studios itself. It is very complete and, if you are having trouble with Halo 2 it will help you. There are 57 pages of basics, a near perfect walkthrough, beautiful screenshots, great multiplayer guide, oh need i go on? I would definitly buy this guide if i were you. It is better than Prima or even Nintendo Power. If you have Xbox live plai
y it online. My gamertag is Bug 23.

  5. I got this guide for the game that I had to buy again for my son, and even thou' I've been around since the game "Pong", (ask your parents) I've seen the growth of video games to today's runners, and I have to say that I've played lots of games, I find this book to more than helpful. After playing the level, you can save your progress and go back and search out more items. I use it along with the game, my 9 year old boy laughs at me becuase I puase the game and look over the plan of action before going into battle!
