1. It's tricky to describe, but I will try to explain what the product is physically.
   
   It's about 6x6 inches square. Comes inside of a holding case (like a box-set case) for simple storage on a bookshelf.
   
   The "book" inside is hardcover, but without a spine. You open it, and it's really just one long 25-foot long piece of paper that's about 6 inches tall, folded over into "pages". Reminds me of an accordion.
   
   Because of this design, you don't have to lay out the entire 25 foot maze to work on it, you just open it to the "pages" you're on, like a normal book, and you can solve in your chair just holding it in one hand. Very clever design.
   
   The way it works, is you solve the maze, then fill in the path to form a long panoramic picture.
   
   To keep my sanity intact, I only work on this about 5-10 minutes a day. Half that time is solving, the other half is filling in. I've been working for a month now, and I'm currently on "page" 2 of about 50 pages in the solving, and still on page 1 doing the "filling". You can do the math and extrapolate how long it will take you to it given the daily time you'll put into it. Personally I expect quite a few years to pass at my very slow rate before it's filled in completely.
   
   The maze isn't terribly difficult so far. Meaning the dead-ends don't go on for miles before you find the ends. But it's not trivial either. It has fairly narrow passages allowing for a respectable amount of detail and complexity in the maze.
   
   In closing if you like mazes, I can't think of any maze that's ever been released that's a big as this one, and the production is top notch. Highly recommended.



2. I won't go into the specifics of the book, as Troy has given you a great rundown above. However, his review is only based on just over one page.
   
   I guess I can gladly say that I'm the first reviewer that actually finished the puzzle! I can't remember when I started the puzzle, but I think I bought it right after the new year.
   
   Overall, the maze was great! I took my strategy a bit differently than Troy. I filled in the page until I got to a new page. Then I filled in the page I just completed. Most pages jump back and forth between the previous and next page, so there were short sections for me.
   
   I do have to debunk a couple of things Troy said, though. For one, he mentioned the book was one page. It's not. There are several pages that you can tell they stuck together to keep the roll going. On a few pages, this caused confusion, as the pages were overlapped incorrectly, giving you a repeated part or missing a bit. This was frustrating.
   
   Also, Troy mentioned the dead ends weren't long. There are some that are. I used a pencil to trace the pages, then used a Sharpie to fill them in. It worked for me.
   
   Another downside was the "answer". It's printed on the backside, but in a way that doesn't make sense. On page one of the puzzle, page 50 is on the back. This was fine for the first 25 pages, but the Sharpie bled through, making it difficult to see the solution. I only used it twice, and both times were to see what was going on during the earlier-mentioned page breaks. I would have made the puzzle's solution upside-down, putting page one with page one.
   
   Despite the few problems, the puzzle was wonderful! It took MANY hours to complete, so I wouldn't suggest getting it for a few hours of fun. It's a project.
