1. I love this Sudoku book. It combines two of my favorite things, Sudoku and Peanuts. It is my favorite cartoon of all time. The first section is very easy, but the next section is more challenging. It is nice to do the first ones, because they are almost brainless compared to the harder ones. So, this is good for first time Sudoku players, and ones with experience.

4. I bought this book and never use it. The suggestions just don't seem to be a fit with what I do in class. About the only thing I've ever done with it was find a few writing topics to use in my Rhetoric class.

1. I bought this book for my 8 year old nephew. I thought this book was a good way to get him more interested in baseball as well as do some logical thinking. He enjoys it! I don't know if there is much of a difference in the puzzles versus other Sudoku books, but the little change to the baseball positions is a fun little twist.



2. I love baseball! I love sudoku! This book is so much fun,best of all possible worlds!

1. This is another great book from the great Martin Gardner, who once wrote the Mathematics column in Scientific American. In this book, he is accompanied by an amazing illustrator, Jeff Sinclair. Sinclair's illustration combined with Gardner's ingenuity are what make this book so much fun.

   I strongly recommend this book to those with young children, or for those looking for a fun present for a little boy or girl. The kids will love Sinclair's drawings and adore the book. The simply-stated problems and interesting solutions can provide entertainment for hours.

   The puzzles are organized by categories. Gardner begins with a few pages of warm up problems, then proceeds into "word for word," a literary playground. He continues with a chapter utilizing Sinclair's pictures, then continues with tricky questions are teasers. The book finishes with science and math problems, more Sinclair in "Find the Mistakes," and finally logic puzzles. Overall, this book is 96 pages of fun!




2. The puzzles in this book seem to be intended for very young ages. The questions did not stimulate my mind and the explanations were not that clear. Elementary school students might enjoy this book, but if you're older I would recommend a different book with tougher questions.



3. My son will be 9 this summer and loves brainteasers. This one kept him engaged and he was very eager to share with us what was in the book. I gave it to him during a trip out of state and he was in that book from cover to cover! It was definitely a lifesaver for me because keeping him entertained on a long trip isn't easy to do.
