1. The book explains each detail so precisely yet so simply. The animals and foliage appear three-dimensional and almost life-like. The lists of paints and supplies is a great help and the photos throughout the book are terrific -- shows details and step-by-step instructions. A wonderful learning tool!

1. Was looking for techniques and colors used. Came away with more questions than answers. Was more about the author and her work than I wanted to know. There was a whole page of Feng Shui and color; which, must have been filler stuff. Question: Does she apply stain over the painted surfaces on all of her items?
   I will have to say I really liked her work. The pictures were excellent.



2. This book is a delight. I bought a set of candlesticks of Ms. Rosenberg's and just put her name on the internet. What a nice surprise to see she'd written books. Not only does this book show the process, but my candlesticks are in it! I now feel that I could accent other pieces in my room to match this set. Instructions are easy to follow; the methods quite interesting. I highly recommend this book - even if you don't want to paint yourself, her techniques are interesting to read about.

This book gives you inspiration to use anything that looks like glass around the home, Ferrero Rocher plastic box, glass box, bottles, acetate, and makes you want to do your windows and mirrors.....! The artist teaches you with available tools around your home and it is relieving to know that you don't have to have this and that tool before embarking on a simple project that may take you just a day to finish. Patterns are given and you are taught how to make your own too, definitely a fail-proof manual and reference book that you would find hard to keep on the shelf...!

1. This is a fun book if you would like to learn about lots of different techniques for painting and decorating birdhouses. The focus is on pre-built, un-finished birdhouses that would be used primarily for indoor use. The author has divided her book into city houses and country houses, and has included some cute seasonal decorating ideas as well.



2. I love this book, so much so i'm buying a similar one by the same author. There are lots of pictures and she shows how to do some simple and creative things which add depth, texture and interest. Easy to follow and easy to imagine your own ideas. And a beginner can easily find projects here to do.
