1. I have done a few beaded projects: I tried bead knitting a small bag and I made a really stunning tomato pincushion with beaded crochet. This book covers those techniques in the glossary/instructions in the back, but the main focus is on various beading techniques to make really beautiful jewelry.
   
   Most of the jewelry are bands of woven beading, using needles and various seed beads such as Japanese seed beads, Miyukis, Delicas and bicone crystals, for example. But there are also semi-precious stone beadwork mixed with beads and silver tubes (Heishi) and so forth. The book is divided into bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings. The stitches involved are peyote, brick, right angle weaving, bead embroidery, crochet, stringing and wire work. Quite an assortment of techniques.
   
   The beaded rings were quite interesting; most of the time, we expect to see anything but a ring in beading. However, the "scrunchie" ring done with elastic and heishi metal beads and Swarovski crystals looks like a project that a crafter might find just the thing to get into beading.
   
   The necklaces include a stunning pearl net choker and a one-to-many strand necklace that looks like ones you see made by famous costume jewelry designers.
   
   Ther are 40 projects in this book, enough to keep the most avid beader busy for hours, and all of the projects looked like something you'd wear fashionably, i.e, not-home-made looking

1. This is the latest book I have purchased by Ann Benson. She is one of the best instructions and illustrations for beading techniques I have encountered. I have many of her books, and have purchased many of her kits offered on her website. Her choice of colors are subtle in a time when everything is so bold. Her style is more European. I can't reccommend this book more highly.

1. I ordered this book believing that I was really going to learn new ways or get fresh ideas for jewelry, but I was very dissapointed to find out I was not. Some of the projects looked very interesting, but the instructions lack clear explanation and some of the pictures were confusing.It seem to be the photo of the same step of the project. Not recommend, unless you have a good experience with many techniques. I consider myself to be a experience/diverse jewelry maker, and this book certanly won't explain or shown me new Ideas.

1. I'm new to jewelry making, so I've been looking for a good basics book to learn simple techinques for creating attractive jewelry. Although this is meant for kids, as a 23 year old I found the designs to be sophisticated enough for adults! None of the designs were too "cutesy" or too young for me to wear. This book really got my creativity flowing, and with the added materials included, I could begin right away



2. Purchased this for my daughter's 11th birthday. She has spent numerous hours making many different creations. The book was easy to follow, great instructions and photos to support them. I would highly recommend purchasing this, infact may purchase a couple more for her friends and cousins for Christmas.

1. This book really offers it all! There are beautiful jewelry pieces that you won't want to part with after making them, and wonderful gifts that you can whip up in an evening to make for unique gifts. Linda's directions are clear and concise, very easy to follow and understand. The pictures are exquisite! Every single one is a source of inspiration for even the most experienced beader. This book is good to have as a resource and an in inspiration source! Looking forward to Ms. Gettings next book.



2. This book is a must-have for anyone who love to make gorgeous jewelry and accessories with beads! The instructions are well-written and the finished products are very impressive. Good tips, detailed instructions on many different techniques and great images. So many ideas for Xmas gifts!

When I first got this book I was feeling a little let down, I was expecting more of Lindas seed bead jewellery, but once I got to really study it, I found that this will be a book that I will use a lot. I like the projects, they are graded from easy to more advanced, and the hints and techniques at the back of the book is great.



4. Disappointed in this item. Features only seed bead projects for intermediate beaders and above , which I am not into. If you like seed bead projects you will probably love it. Fantastic photography though.

1. This is an absolutely marvelous book, and not only for intermediate to advanced knitters as advertised. I learned to knit last Christmas and have already completed the sweater pictured in the upper left corner of the cover and, while it was a bit of a challenge, it came out beautifully. The individual sections in this book cover different techniques for applying beadwork to knitting - each with very clear, easy to read, detailed instructions. Also, those of you who already sew or embroider will find some patterns with basic knitting techniques with the beadwork sewn or embroidered onto the finished project. The projects range from simple to very challenging, from scarves to hats to sweaters, from minimal beading to complex bead designs. What fun!



2. It is a great book for learning to knit with beads. It had all
   the information I needed and great patterns to try. I have made
   some really neat scarves and shawls using the patterns in the book.



3. Thank you for this great book. Whether you are knitting in the beads or adding them on there are lots of projexts to choose from!



4. I was looking for more on the instruction side of knitting with beads, not just patterns that utilize beads. The pictures weren't illuminated enough to see the garment or object. I guess I wouldn't recommend this one.



5. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and the explanation of the 3 ways of knitting with beads. Would like to have seen more ideas for purses. Otherwise, well done with some beautiful examples. Good for all knitting levels.
