5 comments about Preggie Pop Drops (21 Pieces) - Assortment of Sour Flavors.
- Several people wrote reviews wondering if Preggie Pops were really worth the money and if a hard candy like Jolly Ranchers might do the same trick. I decided to run an experiment. During the height of my morning sickness, I compared Preggie Pops to Jolly Ranchers, Gobstoppers, and Lemonheads. The only thing that eased my nausea were the Preggie Pops. The other candies were so sugary that they ended up making me feel even more nauseous than when I started. My findings: Preggie Pops are definitely worth the money (and I have 3 more boxes being shipped to my house as we speak).
The only downside to these pops is that if you suck on several in a row, the roof of your mouth becomes raw.
My final thought about morning sickness is that you have to run some experiments to find what works for your body. My husband bought me acupressure bands (which many people rave about), and these did nothing for me but hurt my wrists. I also tried ginger flavored candy, which just made me sicker because I don't like the flavor of ginger to begin with. The only thing that I found to ease my sickness is Preggie Pops. But each person is different....keep trying different things until you find something that works for you!
- I can't believe I paid 5 dollars for a few pieces of hard candy. There was no special ingredient to these other than they are organic and made from natural flavors. I was able to get a much larger bag of organic candy from the health food store for a fraction of the price. As for helping my morning sickness it didn't work any better than anything else.
- I have not had awful nausea but when it hits these little drops help to nip it in the bud. I have been thankful to have them when the wave of nausea comes. I particularly like the drops over the pops because you can be more discreet about how you are feeling. Sucking on a lolli pop as an adult brings attention.
- I had really bad morning sickness for the first 4 months of pregnancy. These drops were the only food/candy that seemed to take the edge off of my constant nausea. They are a temporary fix, but worked great. Plus the tartness of them was delicious.
- I love this product - after living on nothing but ginger ale and saltines for a week, I decided to try these and they actually worked. I tried some regular lemon drops while I was waiting for these to arrive in the mail, and they did help a little. But the Preggie Pop Drops are way better, at least for me. I can suck on them discreetly while in a meeting or pop one in when I'm running errands. I love the flavors (even the green apple, which I wasn't too sure about). The effects don't last too long, that would be my only complaint. But having the freedom to go to work and not carry a trash bag with me everywhere is worth it!

5 comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black 1 pr.
- I bought these for a cruise. I always wear these types of acupressure bracelets throughout the entirety of all of my cruises. I bought these because they are way cuter than the average bands. Imagine my displeasure when two days into the cruise, I take them off to shower and I have a strange circle of blisters on my wrist! Look at the picture. You see how it has a ridge where one circle is placed in the next? Well, it was rubbing so awkwardly that it irritated the skin, causing it to bubble up. Not cool! I took them off and wore my old ones (thank God I brought them with me)! I would maybe suggest these to someone who will not be wearing them for long bouts of time.
- I hate to give these only 3 stars because they really do help me a lot. I got them for "morning" sickness relief and was extremely scepticle. I really thought this had to be some sort of plasibo affect but they really do work. I am able to work and go about my day without feeling like I'm going to throw up. However they are so uncomfortable it is really hard to keep them on. they are either too tight or too loose and I can't find the happy medium. The type of materiel that they are made out of is really uncomfortable as well. I'm getting a pair of Bio Bands to see if they would be more comfortable.
- Overall I like it. It definately works for me for my Mr. Toad-like bus-to-metro commute. Before I could barely make the ride without ending up nauseous. Now I can even read with no problems. Plus, it's cool looking, at least the black one that I got is.
Cons:
The "adjustment" feature doesn't work too well. It's inexplicably difficult to turn, but if you force it, yes, you can adjust the pressure slightly up or down. The operative word though is "slightly." I for one cannot notice a difference in the pressure, although I can see the bump move a bit in or out. Also, it is little awkward to put on becuase the strap can pop off the button while you are trying to thread the strap through the keeper.
- As far as the relief offered, it does definitely seem to provide some relief. I know that is going to vary from person to person, so I'm not making my primary judgement based on that. It's comfortable enough (although you will want to give the pressure point a break after a while) and can be worn for extended periods of time without having to remove them thanks to the plastic design (most other comparable products seem to be made of cloth of some kind).
My main problem with the PsiBands is that they are very flimsy. After one day the adjustment dial began to come away from wristband. It's basically just a piece of plastic held in by a groove. The problem is that when you go to adjust it, sometimes it will come out of the groove. Not only does that seem cheap, but I'm pretty sure it minimizes the effectiveness of the bands since the "activator" (the part that applies pressure to the Nei Kuan pressure point) is now angled. After another day it came off completely. There's a small piece of plastic inside that basically adjusts the extension of the "activator" and it fell out completely. Fortunately it's easy enough to put back together, but it was a bit disappointing, to say the least.
As far as functionality, it seems to do what it's supposed to do, though not as dramatically as I had hoped in this case. That said, any relief is welcome, so my real disappointment was with the build quality of the wristbands. I'm not going to be pleased with any purchase that starts falling apart after a day or two.
- I am 7 weeks pregnant and the "morning" sickness (really, it's all day long) is unreal. It feels like motion sickness on land - ugh! I bought these last Friday, got them Saturday morning (thank you, Amazon Prime!) and felt relief almost immediately after strapping them down. I can finally move around without feeling queasy!

5 comments about BioBands Acupressure Band for Nausea Relief.
- I bought this nausea relief band without realizing where it has to be placed on your wrist. I guess I was just assuming that you put it on like a watch, I was wrong. There are no instructions until you receive the product (at least I didn't find any). You have to put it about 3 finger spaces up on your wrist, which in my experience makes it slide down fairly often. It's difficult to maintain and so I didn't get much use out of it. I would have scored it lower, but if it works for other people then I don't think I should.
- Bought 2 Bio Bands for my wife. We boarded the Princess Cruises for 7 days trip to Mexico. The Bio Bands did help my wife active and enjoy the trip without any motion sickness. My other sisters in law that use a cheaper bands must have taken extra medication to control the motion sickness. Very happy to recommend to any one, because it is really help. Sorry for my poor writing in English.
- I have used these bands in several different applications and been pleased. Went out on a glacier cruise in Alaska - the seas were high and many were getting sick (I normally would have!), but I just enjoyed the cruise. Went up in a small prop plane - caused sickness in the past - no sickness with the band. The biggest thing I have noticed - I can now read in the car with no issues - I've never been able to do that in the past!
- I bought this product recently for a 4 day cruise. It worked great the first half of the trip but on our way back to the US the ship was going against the current and the boat was very rocky, bioband couldn't really save the day especially after I had that late night pizza, LOL! Overall it's a good product because it worked on the plane flying back home and in the car, I have very bad motion sickness. I would recommend using bioband with another aid if you suffer really badly like myself. Its worth every penny but I probably should've combined it with another aid.
- I used to feel dizzy after travel that lasted for many weeks. Since using this product, my Menier's Syndrome is no longer a concern when I take my annual international travel to Asia. Also, I like that only one band is needed for it to work.

4 comments about Equate - Motion Sickness 50 mg, 100 Tablets Anti-Vomiting/Nausea (Compare to Dramamine).
- I would give this negative stars if I could - well, maybe I'd give Amazon those negative stars (wait for the complaint letter to get to them). This product is "advertised" under the drug name meclizine, which I specifically use for MS-induced vertigo. I get this product home and I find its active ingredient is diphenhydramine, not meclizine. WHY IS IT LISTED UNDER MECLIZINE? I guess I will try this as the shipping cost to return it is too high to bother sending it back.
- My canine gets carsick, these keep her from doing disgusting things in the car while not costing me a fortune.
- These are not chewable, but they are a fraction of the cost of the name brand. This bottle of 100 should last me a couple of years.
- I love Equate Motion Sickness tablets. They are sold at WalMart and online here at Amazon, the only two places that I have ever seen them. Equate is WalMart's generic store brand of products. These motion sickness pills are fast acting. If you have difficulty swallowing pills you may want to swallow them with something other than water, because if you do not swallow them fast, they start dissolving in your mouth and the taste is awful.
I have taken these pills for motion sickness, and they are fantastic for that. However, I have also taken this pills for nausea associated with the stomach flu, and associated with my Fibromyalgia, and they are great for relieving nausea and vomiting fast. I love these pills and always have multiple bottles of them in my medicine cabinet at home.

3 comments about Marezine for Motion Sickness, Tablets - 12 ea.
- I have been searching for years for something that would help my 14 year old son. Everytime we drive any significant length of time my poor boy gets so sick. We have tried everything to no avail until...this! I gave him 1 Marezine tablet about a half hour before we got in the car and then another one about 4 hours into the drive and he was great! He was even able to play his PSP, which used to be totally out of the question.
This REALLY WORKS! I will suggest it to every one I know that gets car sick!
- I haven't found a better solution than marezine for motion sickness. I only take 1 pill at a time b/c it can cause sleepiness in some people. Other than that- there's nothing to worry about. Great solution for cruises and off shore fising.
- All of the other motion sickness pills make me really sleepy. This is the only one that works without making me too drowsy. They stopped selling them at the Rite Aid and another pharmacy I go to, so I have to buy it online.

- I've been taking this medicine since I was a little one and it works great! I get motion sickness so easily, but if I take one Bonine, I don't get sick! I can travel for hours in the car, ride all the looping, twisting, crazy rides at the amusement parks and not get sick! It's wonderful.

5 comments about Nauzene Upset Stomach Relief for Nausea, Wild Cherry Flavor, 40 Chewable Tablets (Pack of 3).
- Works for nausea, unlike Pepto for me. I'm told the only OTC relief for this. Taste good too.
- My wife uses these to help with her vertigo symptoms and dizziness and they work extremely well for her. We used to buy them at Wally World but signing up for regular ongoing shipments lowered the online price plus free shipping making these here a great deal.
- I have acid reflux that causes excessive burping and nausea, there was a point when it was bad enough that I couldn't keep food down for a few days and lost weight. I used omeprazole to control the acid, but whenever I have break through acid or need to give my body a break from the omeprazole I use Nauzene. I tried all kinds of otcs for heartburn/nausea/upset stomach plus homeopathic remedies and Nauzene is the only thing that made me feel better. Not only did it get rid of my symptoms so I could eat and otherwise function normally, but it works fast! It works amazingly well amazingly quickly!
- I tried this product for the first time after picking it up at my local pharmacy about a year ago and I've been using it ever since (this stuff can be pretty expensive, $7+ per box). I use it mostly for occasional nausea when drinking alcoholic beverages. Initially I was very skeptical but it proved to be the most efficient anti-nausea "drug" that I've ever tried (no side effects like most common over the counter anti emetics). It took me a few times to get used to the flavor (I hated it at first, but drinking water helps a lot and the taste doesn't seem to linger in your mouth for long). It acts surprisingly fast (with me the effect is almost instant but I am sure it differs greatly from person to person). I highly recommend.
- This stuff is truly amazing. For the past few years, whenever I get (serious) nausea with its accompanying acid stomach, I take two to four Nauzene tablets. In ten to fifteen minutes - this works lightning fast - I feel super. It's as if I never had nausea at all. Try this. You'll never use any of those pink bismuth products again. No, I don't have any connection to anyone who makes or sells Nauzene. This is the only product I have ever used that I consider to be miraculous.

5 comments about ReliefBand Explorer RB-EL for Motion Sickness.
- I am a thyroid cancer patient and was first introduced to the Relief Band when a nurse at the hospital put one on me for use after surgery. Even with the help of my anestheisologists, I experienced quite a bit of nausea that was bad enough to cause me to vomit repeatedly following my first neck surgery. For my next surgery, they checked the chart and suggested the Relief Band in addition to the anti-emetics. It worked like a charm. I have used it on other occasions since then, without the aid of anti-emetics/antinausea drugs and it works great.
In fact, I came out of remission with a recurrence, and it is working great to help control the nausea I am experiencing following radioactive iodine treatment.
I highly recommend this product.
P.S. For those who find the pulses too "uncomfortable," well . . . . if you are vomiting hard and frequent enough, these pulses are like wrist kisses compared to hugging the toilet for hours. Perspective is "everything."
- I purchased the Reliefband for an upcoming clipper ship cruise. I handed it off to my brother who will be taking a longer cruise on the same ship soon, across the Pacific to Panama, and then we will meet up with him for a 14 day cruise. He will be my guinee pig to see if the Reliefband really can work for us. If he likes it, he'll have me get another one to bring when we go. My complaint is that there is a huge difference between the lowest setting 1 and setting 2. Neither of us can feel anything at level 1, but level 2 is uncomfortably strong. I noticed that my wrist tendons are closer together than the guys who have tried it, maybe because females are different. Also, the sensation is variable depending on the position of my wrist joint. If I bend my hand up, the buzzing pulsation is quite strong, or when I move my hand around the sensation varies between being barely perceivable to very strong. Being that I hate taking medication and really want to avoid nausea, I may just have to bear the distressing sensation. I haven't read anything about it causing long-lasting effects on the nerve but it is something I worry about. I wish they would make the band with a variable conrol rather than the 1 - 5. Levels 3, 4, and 5 are downright painful. It reminds me of growing up on a farm and touching the electric fence. Yikes.
- I can testify that this works for the nerve pain in the wrists from pinching nerves in the neck. I got a cervical block last week on my left side at C-4 & C-6 due to pinching nerves in my neck. The doc wanted it specific so if & when he goes in for surgery he knows exactly what is going on. My left shoulder was hurting and both of my wrists. The shot did no good for the right wrist and a week later my right wrist was flared up so bad I couldn't even brush my hair or teeth very well, nor write worth a dang!
I have had one of these for years, cuz I suffer from terrible motion sickness, but I have had it so long that I can't even remember for sure where I got it. It didn't seem to work for the motion sickness at the time, so I resorted to the Transderm patch, which does work, but then I get horrible taste in my mouth & bloatiness. Yesterday I just happened to see this white band that I have ignored for many, many years and I was so desperate that I picked it up, didn't even use conducting gel and put it on, punched it a few times and WOW within 1-2 minutes, I kid you not, the pain in my wrist was reduced by more that 75%. By time I wore it for 4 hours the pain was gone, my right side of my neck no longer hurt to the touch. I looked this up online cuz I didn't know where my instructions were. I found a guys website that explains this concept has been used for pain for years! I wanted to make sure I could keep in on all the time. Well, then I found my instructions and found out mine is disposable. So now I am on here to buy another one (black) that will take batteries. I know it is a temporary fix, but I can function, & that's all I care about!
So now next week we leave for Hawaii & I am going to give the motion sickness another try & forgo the Transderm patch! I am so thankful to the man/men who invented this....it is a God send & I truly do feel God was involved in me picking up what I already had sitting there collecting dust! Look at where this tells you about the pain relief.[...].
- As a volunteer pilot doing flights for people in need of medical attention at distant facilities I carry a Relief Band Explorer in my flight bag. I have generally kept track of its use. If someone is feeling motion sickness, which is suprisingly pretty rare in my small plane, I help them get the unit properly placed on their wrist. This is easy as I brief them on its use before the flight. The key is to make sure the pulses are felt in the middle two fingers of the hand. If they are not felt there the unit will not help. While it is "on" I observe the setting, from 1-5. If I glance over and see it set at 5, I would know that the unit is doing all it can and perhaps that isn't enough, and I may need to land to give them a break. I've never had to do this. I tend to see it operating at 3 or 4. Rarely at 5. I only carry one unit and have not needed more than that.
A neat feature is that the unit does not need to be activated unless the person is getting motion sickness, although it can be activated in advance if the person is certain that they will get motion sickness. Also, the person I bought it from (on ebay) had purchased it to relieve her morning sickness and she said it did work for that.
My approximate data: I've used it on 16 people who were experiencing motion sickness. 13 felt that it helped, some a lot. The other three didn't get sick but weren't sure that the device made the difference. I've had more than one person who was using it when the batteries went dead and who urgently needed to "get the unit turned back on quickly!" I carry a pair of spare batteries but they last a long time so it isn't common to get a low battery warning.
My assessment is that this device works very well, but that it must be properly placed on the wrist so that the pulse is felt in the middle two fingers, or at least through the palm of the hand. This is the key.
- The Relief Band is a miracle! No more car, train or boat motion sickness/headache for me. I usually would get this yukky headache. NO MORE! I can read in the car even! You won't regret this purchase. I have the elastic bands - but they do not compare to this at all.
