  1. This product definitely helped me after my knee replacement! They used one exactly like it at physical therapy and it was so good I had to have one for home. It arrived in record time and was a great help after my exercises to relieve the pain.
    GOOD PRODUCT

  2. I'm a professional massage therapist, and often use gel packs with my clients. I ordered the Elasto-gel hot/cold wrap after injuring my knee, and have found it to be an excellent aid to the healing process. The wrap is very comfortable, and remains competely fexible at all times. It stays cold for about 40 minutes - ample time to help reduce inflammation and decrease pain.

  3. This is perfect to keep in the freezer to have handy for any aches. I've used it for knees and low back. I love that it can be microwaved also. I've had mine for over 8years now and just got one for my dad. He loves it too.

  4. My physical therapy group uses this product and it is wonderful. The large size (9 x 24) is the best one to buy as it covers legs, back, etc. comfortably.

  5. I'm a professional dancer who has had two knee surgeries now. Another dancer friend of mine turned me on to the Elasto-gel wrap and it's GREAT. Now after I over-exert in class or onstage, I can wrap the frozen elasto-gel around my knee and use it to promote recovery. It's flexible, doesn't get crunchy in the freezer and I'm very much a fan!

  1. We had a little trouble with the ordering of this product, but it sure has been worth it. My husband uses this all the time and it helps so much with the aching in his shoulder. We usually use it cold after a massage and it works really great. Would definitely recommend this.

  2. What I like about the Shoulder wrap is that it allows me to move around while I'm wearing it. It is, however, a bit awkward geting it on and it is quite heavy. It does do the job once you get it on.

  3. This is a poorly fitting product and impossible to put on alone. It does not stay in position well. Attempts to return this product were a joke with the co. not returning e-mail. Their web site states no returns on hot/cold products. I should have checked before ordering.Buyer beware!!!

  4. First the wrap was warm for about 5 minutes it takes 10 minutes to put the guts of the wrap back into the flimsy material that holds it. We tried to return ours and found the company unhelpful. The velcro parts tear at the flimsy material and ruin it, in the picture the item looks solid and strong, but it really has a jello like constitsancy. SAVE Your money and get a massage.

  5. My girlfriend has had trouble with her shoulder for some time, and physical therapy has helped tremendously, when we've been able to get her there. Afterwards, the wrap feels wonderful, and helps alleviate the temporary pain. The one drawback is that it is very hard to put on onesself -- if you have help, you're fine. It holds the cold pretty well, and stays in position on the shoulder nicely, too.

  1. This is the one that physical therapists use and swear by. I have read the comments about the gel not staying cold, but it is possible that once your ankle starts to chill you lose your ability to truly know how cold the wrap is. If it didn't stay cold for at least 20 minutes, the therapists would move to another type. I haven't tried it as a hot wrap.

  2. I purchased this product after having foot surgery at the direction of my physical therapist. Takes all the hassle out of iceing your foot and provides a comfortable cold pack. Product is well made and should last for years. Flexible enough to use on other parts of the body as well.

  3. This wrap is great for a 15 min ice down of the ankle. However, if you are looking for something to ice down for longer than 15 mins you might want to look for another product. This one holds a nice cold temp for 15 maybe 20 mins, but not much longer than that.

I have a size 13 foot and it still fits well and covers the ankle fully. It is soft on the skin and the elastic band w/ velcro can get it as tight as you like.

  4. After my physical thearapist used a cold pack on my ankle I went out to buy one. The one she used was an NBA version with alot of velcro and several insertable gelpacks. It cost about $100. This was about half that cost and was about half as good. The fit ws not as tight, the cold was not as cold and the length it stays cold was not as long. The bottom line is that this works,,,,and you get what you pays for. For a short term usage it was great --if you are going to be using it for several weeks --I would spend the extra $50 and get what the professioanl basketball players use.

  5. I would definitely recommend these products! We bought the ankle, knee and shoulder wraps and I love all of them! The ankle wrap feels really good after you've been on your feet all day and the shoulder wrap is perfect if you do a lot of lifting. I got an XL for the knee wrap and it is definitely big enough. I got that size so it would fit both my husband and myself. It's a little big for me but if you're lying on the couch, you don't notice the larger size.

I would recommend being really careful when microwaving. It does retain heat really well. Definitely start on the minimum amount of time. Otherwise you may be jumping around your living room trying to get it off before you get burnt! Also, depending on the size of your microwave, don't let any part of the wrap touch the metal plate in the microwave. You will hear a popping sound and smell something not so nice. It does state this in the instructions but it can't hurt to emphasize it.

My husband likes the wrap cold but I've found that when they're warm they definitely feel better. The velcro straps can get a little annoying when you're wrapping yourself, but they definitely allow for different configurations, giving you the ability to concentrate the heat/cold where you need it.

I like 'em and will definitely keep 'em!

  1. This is a great product. I learned about it while going to physical therapy, the therapist used it on my foot after my sessions. The Velcro strap makes it so easy to put on and hold in place. I keep it in the freezer so it's always ready to use. Have not tried it as a heat treatment, but I'm sure it would work well as a heat therapy also.

  2. I've had my Elasto-gel for three years and have used it on hand/wrists, knees, and feet. It has held up very well and gives a much better penetrating cold than ice with no hard edges or leaking. This is a handy size for many body parts.

    Elasto-Gel 6" x 16" All Purpose Therapy Wrap - Elasto Gel #TW6002

  3. There's nothing wrong with this gel wrap, but I have the larger one and would recommend it. The larger wrap covers more area and has more flexibility and is worth the extra money.

  4. I bought the Elasto-Gel 6x16 AP Therapy Wrap to help with the treatment of recently diagnosed Rotator Cuff Tendinitis. It is made from a very comfortable material which can be placed directly against the skin with no irritation, and stays cold for a relatively decent amount of time. The length is great, lending itself to many applications where you might want to wrap it around a joint. It secures in place easily and stays put; all in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

  1. My sister recieved the hand warmers as a gift. She is using them on her cheeks because of pain from a neurological problem. She is very satisfied to use them as mini-heat pads. She appreciates the reactivation process so she can use them over and over. My sister and I highly recommend Heat Wave instant reusable hand warmers.

  1. The Happy Company Microwavable and Machine Washable Warming Scarf seemed like it would be the perfect gift for my mother-in-law. This woman needs nothing. However, it seemed like it might be a fun gift and at the same time it would keep her shoulders warm. The gift was ordered on December 11th BUT did not arrive until after we left for our trip on December 23rd. I did get a notice that the shipment had been sent and looking at the calendar I wasn't too worried -- giving them 5 - 7 days the scarf would still get here on the 19th - ample time! In the end we had to purchase an alternate gift which ended up costing us twice as much. So is this scarf worth purchasing? I don't know.

  2. I recieved this product for Christmas. It's great, only you need to take the warming packets out of the scarf to warm them. They are zipped in the scarf and then buttoned in and the packets in the hand end are hard to get out and put back in. My hands are fragile and hurt, buttons are hard for me to manipulate and the ends of the scarf are almost impossible to get to from the zipped area at the neck.

  3. I bought this for my wife who has perpetually cold hands. My family always keeps their house freezing cold in the winter, and so it seemed like a great option for her when we visit them, as well as when her office is chilly. She's been using it a few days now and loves it. It's also a lot more economical than buying individual hand warmers since it can be microwaved repeatedly over time. Style wise, this isn't something you're going to wear out-and-about, but it's great at what it's intended for: keeping your hand warm!

  4. this is a great idea but EVERYONE BEWARE!!! i actually MICROWAVED MY CELL PHONE when I forgot to take it out of the pockets. needless to say it is completely melted. CHECK THE POCKETS BEFORE WARMING!!!!!!!!

  5. Purchased this as a gift for my sister who lives in the Midwest. She likes to use it while working at her office. She is the receptionist and when folks walk in from the outdoors she gets a blast of the cold Midwestern winter air. She says this around her neck keeps her feeling comfy cozy and she tucks her hands in whenever she needs a quick warm-up. Perfect for her. It is not a wide scarf so it doesn't get in the way. She warms it up just before she leaves the office and it keeps her warm on the drive home until the car warms up.

  1. I use this pack quite often and I do like it. I did not realize just how small it is, it does not cover the entire area of the small of I back like I thought it would. I have since bought a larger one and use this one over my shoulder instead. It takes a couple of minutes to get it really hot, but it does hold the heat for about 20 minutes.

  1. This heat pack works very well. I was searching for one I could heat up without using a microwave since I threw mine out and no loner will use!
The heat pack gets very hot and stays warm just long enough.
Aside from using a plug in or professional system, this heat pad is great!
