1. This gel-pad is a gem because it is big enough to wrap around a larger thigh as well as a slender forearm. The flaw is that with only two velcro straps to keep it in place it often slips and you need to readjust it.



2. Bought this because I was using it in physical therapy and I wanted the exact same brand to have at home. I had acl/meniscus surgery and this is perfect after a rehab session. I've used several other gel packs before this but will never use another except my elasto-gel. 9" x 24" is good size because it wraps perfectly around my leg but will also work for back pain or any other aches.



3. This is our second type of wrap. It works pretty good. When "frozen", it is still plyable (the old ((Icee Type)) is rigid - not bendable when frozen), which enables you to "mold it" into the area you want it to cover. It is heavier than the older type, and the coldness doesn't last as long (about 1/2 hour). We purchased 2, different sizes, so we can cycle them in the freezer if we need to have a continuous cooling. Of course, the older type can't be used for heat, but we haven't used this on heat either.



4. I bought this wrap after about 2 months post-ACL reconstruction surgery and wish I would have had it all along. This should be a prerequisite for any person considering knee surgery! I am now 1.5 years post-surgery and will still use it on occasion. The best thing about this is the velcro wrap...it will not come loose when you shift your position AND you can wear it while walking about the house....very nice! While I have used this for my knee (and the sore knees of visiting triathlete friends), I also lent this to my neighbor who was suffering from a severe ankle sprain and he was able to use this wrap. I like the versatility of this particular size wrap for that reason (as compared to some of the more body-part specific wraps that Elasto-Gel sells).
   
   Summary: must have in any household freezer! Sure beats a bag of peas! =)

1. This neck wrap is relieving for my neck, and convenient too. Just heat it in the microwave and put it on while you are working on the computer.



2. This is a great product except for a built-in aromatherapy feature that I did not like. When I called to find out whether the same thing was available without the aromatherapy I was told no, but they were very accomodating and refunded the purchase price because I wasn't 100% pleased. I would not recommend it for those who want something without a fragrance, but if you like aromatherapy you'll like this.



3. Purchased for my wife's birthday a year ago. We've both used it for sore necks, backs, cramps (ok, I've never used it for that), and even calves. It heats fairly slowly (typically a total of about 3 minutes broken into 45 second portions) but holds the heat for a long time. Caution: it can get hot enough to burn your skin, so be sure to keep another piece of cloth between it and you if it's too hot. THe smell is nice without being overpowering, and even I (macho guy who hates smelly stuff) find it unoffensive. Velco closure isn't that effective and a little small for a big-neck like mine, but wife finds it useful.
   
   Good product for the price. Highly recommended.



4. As soon as I got it I put it right to work and it really holds the heat and is easy to use. I go to physical therapy 3x's a week and it works as good as the moist heat wraps they use.
   
   Excellent and a good value



5. This product lives up to its description. Note: Careful how much you microwave; while it may feel just warm on the outside, once you wrap it, the full heat will penetrate through. Very nice, though.

1. I bought the Elasto-Gel 6x16 AP Therapy Wrap to help with the treatment of recently diagnosed Rotator Cuff Tendinitis. It is made from a very comfortable material which can be placed directly against the skin with no irritation, and stays cold for a relatively decent amount of time. The length is great, lending itself to many applications where you might want to wrap it around a joint. It secures in place easily and stays put; all in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

1. My husband had complicated shoulder surgery (slap tear) last October and needless to say its been a slow and painful recovery. What he used for relief was one of those square gel pouches which he constantly had to move around. Just happened on a business trip flight home he discovered this product in the Sky Mall magazine and wanted to order it immediately. I swayed him to purchase this on Amazon, and once it arrived there's been a notable difference since he's begun to use this Shoulder Sleeve. Whether hot or cold its a magnificent relief giver and my husband couldn't be happier. After a rough physical therapy session he'll strap his shoulder sleeve on and I can see the change in his expression. I know we did a good thing by spending the money and will recommend this to anybody that is having shoulder surgery or recovering from shoulder injuries.



2. 1) the wrap is huge, very heavy and difficult to handle
   2) if you're a woman under size 14-16 do not get L-XL size, forget about the arm circumference of 12in
   3) the seller's return policy if horrific: 20% re-stocking fee (found this out after the fact, obviously)! plus they might not even take it back (read their exchange and return policy)

3. I purchased the shoulder sleeve about two weeks ago. I have been using it after pitching 5-7 innings a week. The sleeve has a very nice fit. It has a band that wraps around your back to chest and then another that tightens up you arm portion. The pros far outway the cons. One con... I think the selling point was the length of time the sleeve stayed hot or cold was up to two hours. I get about 30 minutes of cold and I haven't used it for a hot compass as of yet. I have been a jock my whole life and at 38 yrs old. I've used it all. This is a keeper.



4. This sleeve works the best of all the others I've tried over the past three years. I had a problem with the original order and the item, but these were resolved after contact with the seller and manufacturer. I was unable to change my star rating for this item, so it remains at two, but I would definitely put it up at a 4.5 stars after the excellent customer service I received.

1. Makes a very poor cold pack. I don't know if that's typical for this Elasto-Gel material, but contrary to what's claimed for this product, it quickly warms to just cool within 5-10 minutes after taking it out of the freezer.
