5 comments about First Aid Kit With Hard Case- 326 pcs- First Aid Complete Care Kit - Exceeds OSHA & ANSI Guidelines - Ideal for the Workplace - Disaster Preparedness (Colors May Vary).
- I was looking for a good first aid kit for the properties I manage. I ordered 16 of them and they were very nice with a sturdy case.
- I bought this kit for our cabin. It has a good assortment of everything and gives us the peace of mind knowing it's there.
- This is a medium to somewhat less than medium quality kit. There are a large number of items, but the quality of the case is poor, the quality of the instruments is mediocre, and overall I was not pleased when I received it. When I opened it up, much of the contents fell out. So, I glued the plastic insert in the case to hold it together. You must open it at a 45 degree angle to keep the contents inside. Bummer. The printing on the case is cheap, as is the case. It does not fit together well enough to keep water out. Spend more money and get something better, or the same amount and something smaller but better quality. Just my opinion.
- but it is a very large basic kit filled with enough product for many minor injuries, at a great price. Thanks to ramseydad, I purchased this for a youth baseball team. I supplemented the contents with some ace bandages and extra ice packs. It gives me peace-of-mind that we can react to simple medical needs on the field. Also from Amazon, I purchased a low-end duffel bag to keep everything together (see my other reviews). All told, a very complete and inexpensive traveling first aid solution.
- Tons of first aid in this package --- I was surprised at how inexpensive it was!

5 comments about Kaito KA404 Emergency Hand Crank Dynamo 5-LED Flashlight with AM/FM radio.
- I bought this because I plan on doing some extended hiking this summer, and it seemed like quite a useful thing to have on the trail. I got a chance to test it out this last week due to the large snowstorms we received that left my home without electricity. I must say that all the features work as indicated and to my satisfaction. I listened to the entire Super Bowl on this with only about 15 minutes total cranking time having to stop once at a commercial break and crank it again for a few minutes. I really only have one complaint about this product, but it is one that can be quite a hassle and one that I ran into, quite literally, after pulling it out of the box. The handle that one uses to crank the charger is attached to the unit with only a small, metal pin. Unfortunately, the pin does not stay in place and can easily move around so that it does not keep the handle in place. The first time that I went to charge it the handle came off and the pin fell to the ground. It took me about twenty minutes to find it in my carpet. If I had been outdoors it would have rendered this totally unusable because you cannot generate any sort of charge without it. After a while I became accustomed to always checking the pin was secure and in the correct position, but it still ended up on the ground four more times over the course of a week. Other than that, however, the product works well and just as it was described.
- I liked it a lot, it was easy to use, very bright, lasted for a long long long time! I don't usually exercise that much, it was great for me to exercise myself a little.
- This is the cheapest crank radio/flashlight that I could find, and there's a reason for it.
The LED light works fine. It's not very bright, but it'll keep you from bumping into walls.
I wheeled through all of the AM and FM channels and couldn't get any signal, just static.
It has a hole with a pin in it that's supposedly you can put a cable in to charge things like cell phones via the dynamo crank. The one square of paper documentation gives no details about what sort of cable you would need.
In my opinion, this is the cheap thing you buy before you realize that you really should have just spent a bit more on a better quality item. It'll sit in your kitchen drawer and you'll use it on occasion, mostly for the novelty of cranking your own power, before sticking it back in the drawer for another few years until you rediscover it again.
- This is a very nice tool. It can be used for camping, placed in your nightstand, or in the glove box. There are 2 levels for the light. The low level lights up 1 led, and the high level lights 5 leds. It's not super bright, but again, it's more than enough if you only use it while walking your dog. The radio buttons are some kinda small, thus may be difficult for some people to change channel. It also has a siren function, but not very loud. With about 1 minute cranking, the battery can hold enough electricity for the flashlight to work with all 5 leds lit up for about 45 minutes, and then fade out about 20 minutes. The radio consumes much more electricity than the leds. You can only expect the radio work for 5 minutes at most. The crank is relatively hard to crank, i.e. more resistant, if you clockwise, but easy the other way. I assume more electricity could be generated with more resistance. The quality is OK for its price. Everything outside is made of plastic. The crank is hold by two very small screws, as the result, I dare not to crank fast and use my full strength when cranking. The flashlight button is removable and came off the second day when my 4-year old son played with it. But I believe a little glue will fix it. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
- This is a very useful little product and for the price well worth it. I know there are a lot of different levels of quality in these and if you plan on heavy use you may want to research it and get the best. I don't know much about that but for occasional use this one seems to be a good value. The light is strong and the radio works fine. If you are someone that never has batteries every time you go to use your current light this is a good buy.

- The quality of items in this kit, and many others, are fairly cheap. Furthermore, the inside of this case (which is removable), is very difficult to manage, and is not well laid out for emergencies.
Finally, about 1/3 of the items included are fairly extraneous...sunscreen, bug bite wipe, bug repellent.
Definitely better off building your own kit from scratch.
The only good thing about the whole thing is the exterior beefiness of the bag.
- Comes with a lot and handy case seems perfect for our RV and boat..would make an excellent gift for the outdoorsy type as well. Would buy again and would highly recommend.
- Deffinatly look at the size measurements for this item!!!! I was expecting a larger item but when it arrived I could only think.....why did they send me the mini version? Not bad though.
- This first aid kit is truly a remarkable one, it is small, neat, light weight and easy carrying. Equipped with emergency preparedness items that will suit you emergency needs. I love it and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good international 250-piece first aid kit. The price is very reasonable as well, check it out and make your order right now before it run out of stock. Amazon, the best!!!
Total Resources International 250-Piece Outdoor First Aid Kit in Red EVA Case
- Not impressed. Most of the 250 pieces are useless in real life. I mean a packet of drinking water? It is a pretty small kit. I threw away a bunch of stuff to make room for things that need to be in it. I should have bought a bag and stuffed it my self at Walgreen's.

5 comments about Adventure Medical Kits Pocket Survival Pack.
- There's no reason NOT to carry this kit in your pack if you do any sort of outdoors activity. It contains a lot of things that could really save your butt one day, and it's cheap as dirt.
There's a bit of extra space in the bag. I added a few items to the kit... it's stuffed to the gills now. I added a CRKT P.E.C.K. knife, four waterproof strike-anywhere matches, and a paracord neck lanyard attached to the whistle. The lanyard is mainly to prevent me from panicking and forgetting about the whistle, which should be the first thing you go for in any emergency.
- There is nothing more you could add to this survival kit to make it better. Everything you could possibly need if you were ever stranded or in an emergency situation is in this pouch. Lightweight, waterproof, and the perfect pocket size.
- I started putting together my own pocket survival kit before coming across this package, and purchased one to complete the items my own kit ... it was cheaper than buying the few items left individually! This is an incredible deal, and contains a great assortment of items while still keeping its weight and bulk very low. I wish I had found it sooner! There are, however, a few things I recommend adding:
1. The most essential item missing is a flashlight. I added a Photon pinch light, only 0.2 ounces and very bright. Red is the best color for survival for a couple reasons; it is visible from the farthest distance, and gets significantly better battery life (they claim 40 hours).
2. Iodine tablets such as Potable Aqua will ensure you don't ingest contaminated water while waiting to be rescued.
3. A bag to contain water for treatment and transporting. I tested and chose an oven bag from my kitchen drawer, and marked the 1 liter point so I use the right amount for treatment. Also add a straw -- drinking out of a bag is tricky and straws weigh next to nothing.
4. A space blanket, cheap and only 2.5 ounces, will make cold nights much more bearable.
[optional] Not essential, I added a small folding knife (Gerber LST Ultralight, 1.2 ounces) in the event that I become separated from my other knife. The small bulk and weight of redundancy is worth it to me for peace of mind.
[optional] Another optional addition is minimalist first aid. Not a whole kit, but a few basic items in case, let's say, your first aid kit is in your backpack and you become separated from your pack (I carry the survival kit in my pant pocket). Keep in mind that the clothes on your back can serve many first aid purposes.
It is false security to carry a survival kit without knowing what's in it. Inspect each item, and think about its purpose or even test it. Then add items to customize the kit for your activity, your location, and you as a person. If you are allergic to bees, for example, antihistamine capsules are an obvious addition. Perhaps the area you're traveling to won't have great fishing, but snare wire would prove invaluable in a survival situation. Learn the skills necessary to use everything in the kit, and know the steps to survive and be rescued.
- I originally gave the product three stars b/c of the faulty compass. After trying the other items, I would give the package four stars.
Compass doesn't seem to work. When I turn the entire kit in different directions, the compass needle either doesn't move or it points in the wrong direction. I may ask the company to replace it.
The firestarter generates a substantial spark. Other reviews of the firestarter claim it takes a many attempts to generate a spark; my unit generated a spark immediately. I like the one-handed design. I can hold tinder in a high-wind situation with one hand, and generate a spark with my other hand. Also, if one hand is bruised, the tool only requires one hand.
It is easy to put the contents back into the sturdy bag.
The directions provide clear advice.
The white cord is supposedly for fishing. I'm surprised the unit does not include some fishing line. I guess fish are not bothered by a white cord if there's a worm on the hook.
- The compass does not seem to work. I didn't open the plastic case. I just turned the case in a few different directions and the compass would not point correctly.

- I got this as a gift so I can't claim firsthand knowledge of its quality. But the person I gave it to said that she feels safer working a night shift with it clipped on her belt when she goes home. The whistle is loud and the clip allows the user to have it handy for possible emergencies.
- This is one loud whistle!! And the floating clip is pretty convenient for near- or on-water usage.
- I bought this whistle, and the yellow one, to use to train my dogs. It is loud and has worked great.
- Clips to you PFD. Looks good and you can hear it at a great distance. The price is good also.

- This package contains 50 packets with 2 Advil tablets each. The order we just received has expiration dates printed on the packets 15 months in the future, so they're also fairly fresh.
- These packets are difficult to find - the price was great and this company highly recommended.
- My life before Advil was rough. I was in the medical field, driving each day, working a different shift(s) each day, and on some days working 16-18 hours on little sleep. Headaches plagued me, along with sore muscles and a sore neck from having a hand always on the steering wheel.
Advil saved my life. There is no other pain reliever that cures my headaches within 30 minutes like Advil does. When I pop 2 Advils, I know with confidence that my headache will be gone in 20-30 minutes. And it works 99.9% of the time.
Advil cures stress headaches, sinus headaches, caffeine headaches, headaches from little sleep, and headaches from too much intense work. The only thin Advil doesn't handle as well as I'd like is muscle aches. Despite this drawback, Advil is the best in my book. I always keep a bottle with me in my car, at work, and where ever I go.
If you haven't tried Advil, you need to.

4 comments about Adventure Medical Kits Dental Medic Kit.
- Important I think to have a dental as well as a medical kit around the house and certainly while traveling.
This is a solid basic dental kit. However, like me you may want to add some items to the kit like a mask, nitrate gloves, dental mirror and maybe a hemostat.
If you want to go beyond this basic kit check out Chinook Medical, whom I highly recommend, on the web as they offer some good alternatives at slightly more cost.
- Nobody has to be told how much a toothache can hurt. I have had toothaches before that have throbbed so heavily that I would have gladly traded it for a shotgun blast to a limb anytime. Toothaches inflict us for different reasons. Sometimes its a tooth that we know was giving us trouble for quite a while, and now it has decided to gain our attention with a vengeance. Other times its a filling that falls out where the nerve can possibly be exposed, a loose crown or bridge, or even a broken tooth after an accident. Anyone that has had any of these unfortunate events befall them know how extremely painful it can sometimes be. And, we all know how our dentist just seems to feel a disturbance in the force beforehand, and be off somewhere on a beach enjoying lobster and cracked crab just when we need them most. We could very well end up being at the mercy of trusting some unknown prospector with a dental pic, and at the very least being in the hole for a whole lot of hard earned cash.
The Adventure Medical Dental Kit is something I have had along in my car on every vacation, and in my backpack on every wilderness excursion for years now. And on a hike in 2006, I actually ended up needing it. A fresh filling from a couple of months before suddenly took a notion to come tumbling out, and in just a few minutes I was feeling the aching that was sure to turn into agony eventually. (I had waited for some time before going to the dentist, and the hole he drilled rivaled the grand canyon). I was at least 2 hours away from an established trail, and in another state in any event upon my arrival back in civilization. This kit contained all that I needed to set a good solid temporary filling that along with some oil of clove that is also included in the kit, eventually quelled the pain entirely. I decided to trust it and not cut my hike short. I never felt a thing for the entire rest of the trip, or on the way home.
The Dental Medic Kit contains materials for temporary fillings, pain tincture, cement for loose crowns, and even material for temporary bridge repair. Just try to imagine being far away from home or civilization for any given reason and having such a painful emergency arise. This kit is a must carry along for any excursion that takes you beyond your city limits in my opinion. It is very reasonably priced, easy to use, and has very clear instructions. And, it is also something that is very hard to find anywhere but online. I advise you to pick it up here on Amazon. And one last thing. Despite the other reviewer here that made it a direct point in making us all aware that this kit is for temporary repair only, my own personal experience was that there was definitely no big rush. I ended up keeping my temp repair for almost 2 months before I finally got around to getting it professionally repaired. (I had to locate another dentist that filled teeth that actually stay filled). The kit itself makes it perfectly clear that all its repairs are for emergencies, and on a temporary basis. They are certainly not going to be so stupid as to tell you that "the repair is cool, so don't knock yourself out". "Whenever you get around to it". The real truth as to its being transitory lies somewhere between racing off to the dentist like a maniac, and moseying on over there, if an when you ever think of it. Most repairs done with this kit will last for quite a reasonable amount of time. (Unless its strictly an aching tooth from decay. All this kit will offer then is pain killer, that will eventually get overwhelmed, and so will you. Get to a dentist). If you end up having to use this kit for any other reason, relax, it makes a very good temporary repair. Don't venture far from home without it. Highly recommended...
- Purchased this for my first aid kit. Great for camping trips, hiking. Every first aid kit should have this!
- This kit has all the basics to temporarily restore a lost dental filling. Specifically, the kit contains detailed instructions for what to do if you lose a filling, lose a tooth, or have other dental/oral emergencies. The list of ingredients are as follows: 5 Cotton Pellets, 5 Cotton Rolls, Dental Floss, Dental Medic Instructions, Tea Bag, 100% Natural Pekoe Tea, Temporary Cavity Filling Mixture, 3 Tooth Picks, and 1 Wax Rope. The medication inside is 2 Anbesol/Orasol, consisting of Benzocaine 20%.
The kit is designed for TEMPORARY relief of pain associated with a dental/oral injury or mishap. The kits is designed for those who will not be able to access dental care for a short period of time.
The kit is lacking in one key ingredient; ideally, it should have a (liquid) medium to store a dislocated tooth in while travelling to a dental office for reimplantation. In a pinch, milk will suffice.
Dental fillings can be lost for several reasons: decay, fracture, or a faulty filling. It is important to realize that this is a temporary fix and not meant to last weeks or months. If your tooth has decay in it, the decay will continue to progress despite the temporary. Get to a dentist and have the tooth repaired professionally.

5 comments about AAA 73 Piece Adventurer Road Assistance Kit.
- i bought it for my son and within 2 weeks has used the cables twice.. great items... very useful
- Kit has all the equipment you need if you break down. It's doesn't take up a lot of space in the truck. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a road kit.
- this kit is overpriced - there's a heavier/bigger kit at CostCo for $29.99 as of 10/17/09
- The AAA 73 Piece Adventurer Road Assistance Kit is okay, but could be much better.
Seventy-three pieces sounds like a great deal or bargain; however, keep in mind that one alcohol prep or small pamphlet is counted within that number. In addition, the accompanying hand-tools (e.g. screw driver, pliers) are of very low quality.
Overall, the kit is recommended, but users may consider supplementing the hand tools for better brands, such as Craftsman or Stanley, and adding other useful materials, such as air foam to fill tires, ice scraper (if one lives in cold climates), and much more.
- A great value for the money. Comes with everything mentioned in the description above and is contained quite nicely and conveniently in the double sided/zippered bag. The contents are arranged nicely inside. The only thing it didn't come with was a glass breaking/seat belt cutting tool. The next AAA kit up comes with one, but you can get the tool cheaper than paying the price it costs to upgrade the kit.
I bought two of these; one for my car and one for my husbands. Actually, he cut his finger pretty bad the other day so we got in the first aid part of the kit and used a band-aid!!

- Compact, complete and affordable ... a first aid kit is a must have while camping, backpacking and hiking. This one has what you need at a great price. I recommend it.
- I bought this as a starter first aid kit but it has become my everyday carry first aid kit. I like that I can open & see contents.
I have added other essentials to it and now carry it almost every where. I can fold it & place in small bag or open it & lay flat in a book-bag.
I made the same EDC bag for my girlfriend.
- I bought this for my boyfriend before he left on his camping trip. I wanted him to be prepared just in case something happened while he was camping. He didn't need to use it on his latest trip, but he said that it comes with a lot of useful first aid products. The bag that it comes in is basic. Two sides with zippers for both compartments. The items are nicely packed inside and easy to get to each item. The pack is light weight and it will fit into your camping bag...or even roll it up into your sleeping bag. For the price, this is a great deal. If you are debating on getting this, just go for it. Now, if you are looking for an extreme first aid kit then this will not be the right choice for you. This is a basic kit. Smaller than one you might find at your local store. This will work for minor cuts, scratches, cleaning up bacteria, bandages...etc. Good luck... and be safe.
Thank you for reading.
- I was about to go with a larger, more extensive and expensive kit, but, to get free shipping, I went with this one and was pleasantly surprised. It's light, much smaller than I thought and reasonably well-equipped. It's perfect for backpacking and I got the chance to use it before my trek back to civilization.
My only qualm is that I wish it were more compartmentalized, as there're only two pockets and things tend to get lost.
All in all, it's an excellent kit for backpacking.
