5 comments about Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor Test Sticks, 30-Count Box.
- We only used the monitor for one month and now we are expecting. They work! I was not pleased with the delivery policy however. They required a signature so they could not be dlievered to my home and it took me two weeks to get to the post office when they were open to pick them up. Not helpful!!!
- We received this PERSONAL merchandise in a transparent shrink-wrapped TOTALLY visible casing...huge mistake (lose of privacy) according to my wife. The Lot # and exp date where carefully removed using a sharp blade...similar to an Exacto knife. The exp date was not known except for what appeared on the box...the number "11". This led us to believing that the date of expiration was 2011. We were wrong. The manufacturer placed an indelible stamp of expiration on each stick inside...that being "2008-11". SO, we were nearly tricked. It remains apparent that the third party seller under the guise of Amazon intended to deceive us. If not for the manufacturer stamp of expiration on the stick itself we would have been fooled. As such we would like a full refund of the amount paid including the shipping. Furthermore, we would request that Amazon conduct a full investigation.
- This is a specialty item so you can search all over for good prices. Although the price at Amazon wasn't the cheapest, I knew it was a company that I could rely on if I had a problem with the product. I bought the actual CBEFM (monitor)from another website and it came damaged. It was so hard trying to return it after personally speaking to the head of the company at his dinner table! I've decided to stick with Amazon since I can trust the company. Also, I bought this around Christmas so there was free shipping. Bonus.
- I've been using the Clearblue Easy monitor for awhile, so I was happy when I was able to purchase these sticks for $20 cheaper than in a store. They came brand new, unopened box and in great condition.
- I purchased these after I had puchased Clearblue fertility sticks that DID NOT require the monitor. I didn't notice that one was required so I was rather confused when I received the product. I did go out and buy the monitor afterwards, and the product worked well. It showed when I was ovulating, where I never did get a positive with the sticks that you use without the monitor.

- I've been using this as per directions. If I wake in the am and have to pee I even hold it until the 6 hr window when I'm supposed to test, which is horrible. Anyway, I'm now on day 23 and it hasn't changed from low fertility!!! I did do some traveling this month maybe that had something to do with it. Or maybe I'm not ovulating?? I do have very irregular periods and I'm currently doing acupuncture and taking herbs to regulate. I will continue to use it for the next couple months. Will update if my results change.
- My husband and I bought the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor based on the reviews we read. I couldn't believe there were so many people who said it worked the first month. I have been diagnosed with PCOS. Our first child took us over 2 years to conceive and this was after failed attempts at fertility medicines. We had already been trying to conceive for a second time for about 12 months when we bought the monitor. It worked the first month. I don't know if we were just missing the day every month or what but we were SO thrilled to find out that I am pregnant. For us it was definatly worth the money. Much less expensive than other fertility options and more private.
- I have been diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) so I do not ovulate regularly. My husband and I had been to the specialists and went through numerous treatments when I decided I'd had enough time with the doctor. I'd heard about this device and was initially put off by the cost, but after spending THOUSANDS with my Dr, this was small potatoes - I bought it. I began using this in September/October and this confirmed what I already knew: I do NOT ovulate every month, and that I ovulate on cycle day 18-20 if/when I DO ovulate.
We had decided to make the leap to IVF and decided to try this device one final time. Well, that's all it took - just a little patience because in February, I FINALLY became pregnant. It took 5 months of use for us due to my irregular cycles, but if you are trying to conceive on a specific timetable, I highly suggest purchasing this to take the guesswork out of when to do the deed.
Count me in as one of the highly satisfied customers! :)
- This monitor is very easy to use and very small. Test strips are kinda pricey though.
- Hello. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 3 years now and we decided to try using this monitor while we were waiting to see the fertility clinic on base. We bought the monitor in November 09, but I have irregular periods and was recently diagnosed with PCOS, so January was the first month we could use it. To coincide with the monitor, my doctor had me to a Clomid challenge to make sure my ovaries are working well and would produce eggs. It seems that I also have longer cycles than most women and thanks to this monitor, I found out my peak days were days 17 and 18.
The other night I was having some severe pain in my lower abdomen and went to the ER. They did a urine test, but it came back negative and I was kind of upset. After speaking with the doctor and telling him I was only about 10 DPO, he ran a blood test and I am pregnant! Of course, my HCG levels were still low, but the OB said he was fairly certain it is just because of how early I am.
I cannot express to you how happy I am that my husband and I purchased this little thing. I was very heartbroken after trying for so long and cannot believe we got pregnant using it the first month! If you really want to get pregnant now, this takes the guesswork out of the timing and we all know, timing is essential.

5 comments about BD Digital Basal Thermometer.
- This is a great product - I just with I could turn off the beeping.
- This thermometer is accurate, lightweight and fast. The back-lit LED is also extremely helpful for seeing in the dark. Some have mentioned that they didn't like the beeping but, honestly, it's not that loud and I like knowing it's working/progressing. I should have bought this one years ago while trying for my first child. I would recommend this product to anyone!
- I bought this digital thermometer as well as a glass one. Used them both for a week to see if they gave me the same results. The digital one was really all over the place, indicating to me that it is not very precise. It may be "good enough" for the purposes, but I personally would rather use the more precise glass one. Also, since you need to take your temperature first thing after you wake up in the morning, the loud beeping from the digital thermometer can get really annoying.
- I'm a big fan of digital thermometers. This one is very easy to use. Just press the button and put it in your mouth, and when it has your temp. it beeps quickly. Then you can leave it on the nightstand until you are ready to mark your temperature chart. If you want to note your temp. right away, press the button and the screen lights up, so you can see the number.
I also found the directions in the box to be a very helpful explaination of how to use the thermometer and how to use the temperature chart.
- We have used 2 other thermometers and this is the best one so far. The light alone makes it superior because you can actually see the reading in the dark. Also, it beeps to tell you it is working which is great because with the others, I would just sit there wondering if they were on and mess up the temp looking for a light to check them. Finally, the on button is nice and big so it is easy to turn on.
The only downside is it would be great if it read to 100th decimal. But, this isn't a big downside.

- Like many women, I had trouble interpreting the two-line system on the standard dipstick OPK's. A friend suggested that I try the smiley face digital sticks, and I'm glad I did! It's very clear to see when you've had your LH surge, because the smiley face is unmistakable. I also use the ClearBlue Easy ovulation monitor, because it measures both the LH level and the estrogen level. It gives you 3 levels of fertility (low, high, and peak), so it provides a lot more information than just the LH measurement. I use the ovulation monitor in the morning and the smiley face sticks in the late afternoon, and oftentimes the afternoon test is the one that turns positive first. This two-test technique has definitely helped me pinpoint my LH surges and plan my BD sessions accordingly!
- I love the smiley faces on these - no more comparing line darkness! I also like that these are the best deal I can find anywhere - you get 20 sticks, and they are individually wrapped so you don't have to use all of them in one month like some tests require. I would definitely recommend these!

5 comments about Premium Portable Ultrasonic Ultrasound Device PM-2000.
- The first ultrasound that I ordered from Amazon came DOA. I returned it, no hassle, and ordered again, this time choosing a different supplier in Amazon, and although the on-line pictures (and price) were different, the exact same type of device came - a "Koalaty US 1000 version 2 - made in China", with same "accessories" down to the second lotion named "Cat's Claw". As another reviewer indicated, it is possible that while there is a myriad of suppliers and prices for this device, it is all the same model with each company putting their own sticker on the box.
The device has one button which controls the intensity, indicated by a LED - Green for low, Orange for medium, Red for high intensity. Pressing the button repeatedly cycles through the levels. Turning off is accomplished by holding the button down for 3 seconds. You can also pull the plug :-) Auto power off is supposed to happen in 10 minutes of use (or 30 minutes, depending upon which spec page in Amazon you look at) but my device did not shut off by itself. Perhaps because I kept changing the power level? Power cord (and handle!) could be a bit longer, but I can always use an extension cord (and maybe a nice friend for the harder to get areas :-))
Upon turning the device on, it makes a faint buzzing sound, similar to that of a humidifier. I ran my fingers gently across the surface and felt a nice tingling sensation, strength of which corresponded to the power level. Experimenting, I held the device close but not touching my skin and sometimes I felt small non-painful "shocks" at hairs - but once the device makes contact with skin (with or without the lotion) there are no shocks.
Using the device I felt a buzzing sensation - no warmth (as some reviewers expected). There were other sensations but they were quite subtle - none of which said that anything was happening. After using for a while, the metal pad does get warm, but obviously that is from just the device in use and is not part of the intended therapy. The instructions caution against keeping the device at one spot for a long time so I kept it moving and with experimentation I found the best results occurred with moving it slowly in the same direction that is advised for massage (if you don't know what I mean, read a book on massage or trigger point therapy :-)).
I found little difference using it with or without lotion - but then I do not have dry skin, so perhaps natural oils provide enough conduction of the energy.
Results: It worked! I was quite skeptical, especially since the only thing that you feel is buzzing and anything else is quite subtle (if at all) but previously my shoulders were aching due to tension and very soon afterwards most of the ache was gone.
Soreness - from exercise - in other areas lessened as well. Still some other areas did not respond as well; my other device, an infra-red massager worked better for those.
So this device can provide another method for relieving pain - add it to your list of stuff like NSAID, theracane, roller foam, infrared, vibrator, shiatsu, friendly neighborhood masseuse, sitting in a tub filled with ice cubes :-)...
Upon my first impressions listed above I would recommend this device - it is one of the least expensive ultrasound therapy devices that I've found and for me it worked amazingly well on some discomforts which other modalities did not fare well with.
- I am extremely annoyed that it has been 3 weeks since I purchased this item and it has still not arrived. It was listed as "in stock" and was supposed to have been shipped right away. When you are in pain, you don't want to wait more than 3 weeks to get your item, especially when they don't bother to inform you and you have to track it down. I hope it works when it does come!!
- This product seems well designed and engineered. It is ergonomically superior to a previous device I had. Have been using it for a couple of months to treat minor soft tissue injuries and am very happy with it.
- This really helped with the pinched nerve in my neck. (Possibly better than the acupuncture.) It comes with its own case and plenty of gel. However, I just wish it came in a rechargeable, cordless version. Sometimes trying to wield the thing to reach your back/neck with the cord flopping around is awkward.
- When I researched and purchased this ultrasound device I was suffering from acute bicep tendonitis. I still have it but not quite as acutely. I have chosen to try to remedy this myself rather than going to a doctor who would probably recommend a shot of cortisone. Regarding the ultrasound you can spend anywhere from $250 to $60 for exactly the same device. I researched and researched and discovered they are all the same unit. Now, if you are looking for immediate relief first try an ice pack. It will do what you'd hope the ultrasound would do in a shorter amount of time, relieve pain/inflammation. With that said it may be that the ultrasound device will act as an adjunct to the ice for the healing process. The verdict is still out for me. Make sure you have plenty of gel because you will use up a lot of it. So far my expenditures have been been much less than if I had been visit to a specialist. Perhaps the cortisone would've cleared it up by now but steroids can't be too good for you.

5 comments about 25 Ovulation Test Strips.
- Me and my hubby have been trying to conceive for awhile now. I have PCOS and was on Clomid and for some reason, I was having a really hard time reading the results of the store bought ones. I decided to try these internet ones because I've heard good things about them and so I used them everyday and this was the first month I was able to get a clear positive. Cheap price is great too, I'm able to test everyday instead of trying to guess my fertile 7 days to use them with the expensive brands. I would highly recommend them!
- its very clear and easy
i got when my body is fertile
and now iam pregnant
- I have tried a few name brand OPKs and while I do think that they are slightly better than these strips, the savings is worth it. My only real complaint with these strips is that the dye on the color bands is very streaky/blotchy, and can make them hard to compare. It's almost like the color band doesn't fill in entirely in certain areas of the line. I don't think it will keep me from seeing a positive though.
Oh and the directions say to test when your urine is at room temperature, which I thought was odd and I'm not sure why its necessary but I'm doing it anyway. I just let the cup sit for 15-20 mins then come back and test. Not a big deal for OPKs but it will probably be hard to wait that time when using the pregnancy tests!
- I wouldn't buy these again. I'm sticking to the more expensive brand as I think they are more accurate and easier to read.
- These test strips are effective and a fraction of the price what you will pay at the drug store. The only difference (other than price) is that this strip is just a little teeny stick you have to dip in a cup instead of one that comes with a plastic shield so you can pee on it. Even if you prefer to pee on the stick directly (it doesn't really matter to me whether I'm peeing on a stick or in a cup), the huge savings makes these tests worth it. I had used an ovulation kit bought from the store before I bought these which resulted in an unsuccessful attempt. The first cycle I used these tests, I was successful and now have lots of leftovers! Even with the small number of tests I ended up using, it was still a better bargain than if I had bought one kit at the drugstore. I think it was probably a bit of luck and coincidence that I was successful on the first try using these, but it is still a good indicator that these tests do actually work.

5 comments about Combo package - 40 Ovulation & 10 Pregnancy Test Strips.
- Arrived quickly. I think the ovulation strips are more sensitive than store bought. I've never had store bought give a clear positive or negative and these did. Actually ended up getting pregs the same month I purchased. Pregnancy tests are also great. Only recommendation is to get small cups for dipond the tests on b/c you are not able to pee directly on the test.
- The strips are very easy to use, the level of hormones can be readily read once it starts to present. I use it for the first time and it works.
- I thought I was ovulating and used the test to confirm. It worked PERFECTLY and we got pregnant the 1st month trying. Great for the price (although I now have like 35+ ovulation tests left now that I am pregnant but have enjoyed passing them on to friends). Worth it!!
- Each strip comes in a hermetically sealed foil pouch. Easy to read. I received instructions with my order but instructions are also available on their website. I took my temperature during the testing period to have back up data. Fun tool to figure out your bodies chemistry.
- fast delivery; value for money; easy to use; Indication is clear and easy to read.

5 comments about ClearBlue Easy- Fertility Sticks and Monitor Package, 1ct.
- This monitor was able to detect my most fertile days in the 1st month. I got 2 Highs then 2 Peaks before using 10 sticks. I was worried from previous reviews that it would not pick up the Estrogen or LH surge until after a few months of learning me. Despite identifying the fertile period, I am not pregnant yet. It is no fault of the monitor but problems with personal scheduling. This monitor does not guarantee pregnancy or ovulation, but it should greatly increase our chances. It is only my 2nd month using the monitor. I will definitely continue to use this monitor during my trying to conceive journey.
- This monitor really works!!! The first month i used it and i am pregenant. I am so happy for the decision i made for this product.
- Works well so far-- but can't further comment as it's only in the first 10 days of use...will update later for success or failure of product within the next year (give or take, depending on my patience). Seller was great-- product just as described. If this works, we'll be ecstatic :-)
- This takes so much stress away from trying to conceive, especially if you've been trying a while and are starting to get frustrated. I used this after we tried for about 5 months. I was pregnant after 3 more months with the monitor. I'm now pregnant with my second child and only used the monitor 1 month. For me, it was extremely helpful to know the peak days because I have a long and irregular cycle.
Important Points...
1. SHARING THE MONITOR- It says not to share because it can be contaminated with urine. Urine does not touch the monitor. The test strip is soaked with urine and covered with a cap before it is inserted into the machine. I wouldn't buy a used one from a stranger, but I would share with a close friend. It also says the monitor stores your data and therefore won't work properly for a friend. It has directions for clearing the data. You have to clear it if you've stopped using it for a prolonged period and want to start again, so obviously it can be cleared before given to someone else.
2. TEST STRIPS- Buy them from Amazon. They are much cheaper than in stores. They advise to discard extra sticks if you don't have at least 10 for the next cycle. I never threw any away and the monitor appeared to work fine even when I mixed sticks from different boxes.
3. DIRECTIONS- I could give you step by step directions here, but you can go to [...]and read the entire manual. It is very thorough and helpful. The machine is very easy to use.
4. NOT FOR EVERYONE- Obviously, if you have reproductive issues this isn't going to solve them. I have a friend that TTC for quite some time and after using the monitor for a few months she found out she wasn't ovulating. Her doctor confirmed that, gave her fertility medication, and she conceived. Although she didn't get pregnant while using the monitor it still helped her. If you're not pregnant after 6-12 months with this monitor you should see your doctor in case something else is going on.
5. PREGNANCY TESTS- Buy these cheap prenancy tests. 25 pregnancy test strips They sell them in different quantities, but you can get soooo many for the price of just 1 name brand test. They work great and save a lot of money especially if you get obsessive about testing.
- After leaving things up to chance for five years I bought one of these and it worked on the 2nd month. The first month it didn't detect any ovulation but I've read that it's still learning your body. As soon as I saw ovulation on the 2nd month, BAM!!! I love this thing. Takes all the guess work out of it.

5 comments about Digital Basal Thermometer.
- It was hard to see in the winter during daylight savings time morning. It takes longer than a minute for results, so I end up falling asleep with it in my mouth, and usually end up temping twice, cause of inaccuracy.
- Thermometer is VERY basic. As mentioned by others, it really could use a backlight. A plus, however, is that it "saves" the last temp taken, so you can always check the temp later in the morning if you're recording your temps. Also, it takes two minutes to take a temp, which is a pretty long time when you're doing it every single morning.
- I returned this product because it is poorly made and does not work well. I followed the given directions, and was still given temp readings of 89.90 or 89.40, and the display was very dim. Also, the thermometer kept on telling me that my temp was Low after one min (and that is when it would stop reading). Maybe my thermometer itself was defective, but I purchased another on at the drug store which works great.
- Its easy to use but takes about 3-4 minutes to get a reading. You have to check your temp before you even get up to go to the bathroom, I have a 2yr old and so if he starts crying early in the morning it sucks because I have to either wait 3-4 minutes to get the reading first or miss some mornings. it also tells you it does a "playback" but the playback is never what my last temp was so I have to make sure I write it down every morning. I do wish I would have gotten one with a backlite to make it easier to see.
Overall if you want it to just take a temp its perfect.
- Better late than never I always say! For the price I paid for this item, it is very good. The only problem I have with it is it takes FOREVER to take my temperature. I use it daily to track my ovulation cycle, before I get out of bed in the mornings. Some days I don't have all the time in the world to wait for the therometer to read. But just as long as it's accurate, that's all that matters!
