  1. These will fit well in your scrub top chest or waist pocket. They are sharp and well made. The only reason it is not given a 5 star by me, is that the handles are a tiny bit cheaply made. But, well worth the "less than $6" they charge for them.

  1. As a nurse, I have used this product for years. It is used to cover wounds prone to sticking to dry dressings and causing significant discomfort when removed, There are a multitude of situations where this kind of non stick dressing is very important. Personally, I use it for a family member's severe eczema, It helps hold moisture and the medication on without drying out these areas. This, of course, like any treatment needs a doctor approval especially if you are using prescription creams. This technique can lead to this skin so it is wise to follow specific instructions by your dermatologist. For my family member, it was nearly a miracle.

3 comments about Coverlet Latex-free Adhesive Dressings Strips - 1 inch X 3 Inches,100 / Box.

  1. I am allergic to Band-aid brand band-aids (the adhesive AND the center pad). I noticed that the bandaids put on me after my blood gets drawn at my doctor's office did not irritate me. So I asked them what they used.
It was Coverlet brand. I could not find this brand on store shelves.

With all the allergic responses to various substances these days, it's nice to know these are available to we sensitive-skinned individuals!

  2. My son hurt his finger today at school. He was bleeding pretty bad from his cut and a regular bandage could not adhere and stop the blood from coming through. The teacher sent him to the nurse and she put the Coverlet Adhesive Dressing on his finger - one of the finger bandage shapes - and it is real nice. I don't see any blood coming through and it is very flexible and stuck on his finger securely. Usually with the store brands he needs replacement bandages often because they fall off and they also don't "breath" and flex as well. So, from first hand (or finger in this case) experience, these are EXCELLENT bandages.

  3. Coverlet Bandaids are the very best I have ever found. They stay on in all kinds of conditions unlike other brands. They are latex-free so do not cause skin reactions. They are used in hospitals and in industrial situations. I have not found them available in most retail stores.

  1. These bandages are completely worthless when it comes to keeping a wound clean and protected from germs. The inside sterile pad extends to the edge of the bandage on both sides; there is no adhesive to seal around the wound. I do like the fabric rather than plastic, but it you want to keep a wound clean, rather than just protecting it from bumps, buy the fabric Curad or Coverlet bandages.

  2. Band-Aid enjoys a proud tradition of manufacturing all types and shapes of bandages used to cover wounds people sometimes get when they accidentally nick themselves with scissors, a knife or a can opener. I use these with complete satisfaction and I can tell you why.

The assorted sizes in these boxes mean that different size band aids can be applied to different size wounds. After all, you wouldn't use a 4 inch by 4 inch band aid to cover a minor wound after a splinter has been removed, now would you? In this package you get smaller bandages that cover just the tiny areas--or the larger areas where you may have a cut from a knife while you were chopping onions or peppers or something.

These bandages also offer a comparatively new feature: they have flexible fabric with flexible adhesive on one side. Therefore the band aid can be applied to your skin wound much more effectively than a regular band aid which was somewhat more rigid in that you couldn't flex it to manipulate its shape. This represents a major advance over traditional band aids. Great!!!!

Amazon correctly notes that Band-Aid also guarantees the sterility of the bandages unless the individual wrapper each one comes in has already been broken; this high level of quality control is absolutely necessary so your wounds heal as fast and as safely as possible.

Two caveats: If your wound is really bad, seek out a doctor or even consider going to an emergency room if you believe the situation warrants it. You may also have to wash the wound area with soap and water before you apply the bandage if you think you need to do so. Moreover, Amazon also correctly notes that the product packaging contains latex--if this is a concern for you, you may want to choose another substitute product recommended by a physician.

Overall, Band-Aid scores a huge plus in my book with these bandages. The price is reasonable for all that you get--six packages--and after you buy them they stay fresh and usable for quite a while to come.

    To your health!!!

5 comments about Band-Aid(R) Brand Liquid Bandage Applications, Pack Of 10.

  1. I ordered the item shown, but another item was substituted although the invoice showed the item that was ordered, sending two of the substitutes to nearly equal the price of one of the item ordered.
America RX credited back the money, I sent back the item.
I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEM ORDERED AND INVOICED.

  2. This is the only liquid bandaid that is worth buying. I've tried others that smell and feel like nail polish and strip off in a minutes. This one is invisible, stays put...is simply excellent. The catch - I think it's discontinued and when I ordered it from here the last time I got the wrong product, which is the individually wrapped pre-soaked sticks that are a total waste of meney and time. Others had posted the same thing, but for some reason those reviews have disappeared from the site. Worse part, you can return it because it is a medical-related product.

  3. Ever since this product came out a few years ago, I've been a believer! It's perfect for paper cuts and other minor cuts and scrapes. Whenever I get a paper cut I reach for Liquid Bandaid -- and they heal miraculously fast without any tenderness at the site. I've also used it for scapes on knees and cracks in skin on my hands in very dry weather. It's really a great product.

  4. Pros:
-Just let it dry for a couple of minutes and you can go to the shower or wash your hands without pain. Your cut is now sealed.
-Even during the application there is NO PAIN.
-Pack of 10 pertains to the number of applicators. You can actually use it more than 25-50 times depending on the size of the cut.

    Cons:
-4 stars for the high price. There are a number of brands selling liquid bandages, if you look at the active ingredients, nothing is the same as J&J.
    -Packaging is like 90% air.

  5. These liquid band-aids are perfect. If you have a small cut on your fingernail and want to avoid the unsightly and "germy mess" of a wrap, these are your answer. The only drawback is the amount of packaging, but at least it keeps them sterile. It rather expensive, around 70 cent per application, but they can really be useful.

  1. J&J makes the best products, there is a very obvious difference between these and the discount brands. Once you go J&J you can go back.
