1. Less greasy than BB's Farmer's Friend Hand Creme, the shea butter creme is light but effective. Shea and cocoa butters are known as excellent emollients. The scent of this product is light and slightly medicinal, but not unpleasant, certainly not like Vick's or muscle liniment. It's reasonable in price and works well for me.



2. This product is wonderful. I have eczema on my hands and this is one of the only lotions I have been able to find that will moisturize my skin. However, like other posters have mentioned, it smells horrible. It works so well, that the smell doesn't bother me.



3. I have absolutely zero interest in cosmetics (and don't even wear them) so you know I'm not someone who buys beauty products for fun and for the novelty of it. But I live in the desert where the sun will desiccate your skin, plus I use my hands a LOT on gardening, home improvement, and crafts. So I need something for my hands.
   
   This stuff is the best. It's a heavy moisturizer that does feel a bit greasy and that does takes about 30 minutes to soak into your skin. I'll usually slather it on, especially getting it on the backs of my hands, and then put on light cotton gloves and then read in bed for about 30 minutes before I go to sleep. It works great. At that point my hands are softened and moisturized, but not greasy. I can take off the gloves and go to sleep.
   
   I just took a moment to scan the other reviews, and I'm puzzled by the ones that mentioned that this product has a weird smell. It's true that it doesn't have an obvious fragrance as most cosmetics and lotions do. But it doesn't really smell like much of anything to me. Anyway, it does seem to repair one's hands, even in the desert. Along with the Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme and the Honey Lip Balm, this product is essential.



4. Whenever I would use Burt's Hand Repair Cream, my wife would intone "Mmmmmm... What's that scent that you are using? I love it!" I love the scent also. It is a natural smell, unlike the artificial floral fragrances found in many skin products.
   
   As the saying goes, "Beauty is in the nose of the beholder." You may love it, as a few reviewers have indicated, or hate it, as other reviewers have expressed.
   
   I have very dry, sensitive skin, and it can become hard and cracked, or even develop a rash. I have tried many skin creams and lotions, and this one works quickly, and does not irritate my skin. (The others have certain oils, like Tea Tree oil, that my skin reacts allergically to).
   
   This product has one of the purest lists of ingredients that I have ever encountered. I do not know to what degree most people realize the extent to which chemicals are taken into our bodies though the skin pores. They are absorbed totally, and become part of your cellular chemistry. If that were not the case, then one would never be able to rub a cream or lotion in until it became non-greasy. So I totally avoid creams and lotions that sound like a chemical laboratory. Burt's products are a real blessing.



5. I use this for any dry spots & works wonders. Immediately my hands feel soothed& though it's a little heavy/slightly greasy at first, your skin will suck it in & you're skin will be baby soft within minutes that will last for days no matter how dry your skin is. The only other product that compares in terms of softening skin to Burt's Bees is Neutrogena Norwegian formula, but that uses petroleum, several different alcohols, many preservatives & parabens which have been proven to cause cancer. Burt's Bees moisturizers can soften your skin deep down all natural & really heal instead of just putting a protective/unbreathable layer of grease.

1. I noticed a lot of the reviews of this and many other products and I sincerely hope a lot of the viewers read this view. I have used this product and other products for gentle cleansing and there is NOTHING absolutely NOTHING WRONG with the SMELL or the LATHER or ANYTHING, it does what IT SAYS makes the SKIN SOFT and MOIST. SO WHY are so many of the NICE products getting an insane or crazy person to complain about these PRODUCTS? THERE'S NOTHING WRONG with this product that's right it's PERFECT for daily use. Picasso..................



2. I have break outs on my back and my skin care esthetician recommended an expensive daily wash she sold in her shop. I used it for a while and loved how it felt, but the cost was overwhelming after a while. I was trying to find something in my local drug store that would work as well (no heavy scents, oils or other ingredients that clog my pores). I grabbed a bottle of Skin Milk and couldn't believe how it worked!!! I was so pleased I found somthing for about $6 instead of the $60+ I was spending. The gentle scent was even noticed by my 5 year old nephew who said 'you smell really nice'! Can't beat that endorsement. I was sickened when I went back to the drug store and couldn't find it. I was in a panic. I contacted the manufacturer and was relieved to hear it was available online. I've been so anxious I won't find it anymore - that I buy large quantities so as to never run out!



3. I've been using these products for a while now and find them to be super for those us us who can't use highly scented and perfumed lotions, etc.
   This works as well as or better than the extremely expensive brands and I love the quality.



4. I have keratitis polaris (little bumbs on the back of arms, cheeks, thighs, etc) and lactic acid products help ease these bumps. Skin Milk is the best body wash even for those with sensitive skin. I switched from Aveeno when I started developing an allergic reaction to it and wish I had switched years ago. With KP, the body produces too much keratin which clogs the hair follicles in the larger muscle areas as mentioned above. 40% of the world's population has this issue, especially those of Scottish and British backgrounds and there isn't a cure. However, soaps and lotions with lactic acids help reduce the problem and Skin Milk, so far, is the best and least expensive assistance out there. Thank you Skin Milk for my beautiful skin!
