  1. While these are indeed assorted and 280 count, they are NOT those advertised. There do not seem to be any foam strips as advertised and the box and mix is different than shown. Still the best price for a 280 count two pack, but be warned.

  2. good assortment and good price we use alot of bandages so this was a good deal.

  3. This product contains many different sizes and types of bandages. If you have lots of kids and/or a big family, then this is a good choice.

  4. Band-Aid enjoys a proud tradition of manufacturing all types and shapes of bandages used to cover wounds people sometimes get when they accidentally nick themselves with scissors, a knife or a can opener. I use these with complete satisfaction and I can tell you why.

The assorted sizes in these boxes mean that different size band aids can be applied to different size wounds. After all, you wouldn't use a 1 ¾ inch by 4 inch band aid to cover a minor wound after a splinter has been removed, now would you? In this package you get smaller bandages that cover just the tiny areas--or the larger areas where you may have a cut from a knife while you were chopping onions or peppers or something.

These bandages also offer an excellent feature: they stay on even when wet. Therefore the band aid can be applied to your skin wound much more effectively than a regular band aid.

Two caveats: If your wound is really bad, seek out a doctor or even consider going to an emergency room if you believe the situation warrants it. You may also have to wash the wound area with soap and water before you apply the bandage if you think you need to do so. Moreover, Amazon also correctly notes that the product packaging contains latex--if this is a concern for you, you may want to choose another substitute product recommended by a physician.

Overall, Band-Aid scores a huge plus in my book with these bandages. The price is reasonable for all that you get--and after you buy them they stay fresh and usable for quite a while to come.

  1. Finally you can buy bandaids in a box that doesn't have just a handful of the ones you actually use on a regular basis. These may not stick in the presence of water, but the fabric is comfy and they won't come off on their own as long as they're kept dry. I go through an unfortunate number of bandaids, and these are the ones I keep coming back to. Combined with some ichthammol to draw out infections and splinters, these are as much as I could ask for.

  2. The Coverlet brand fabric bandages are the best you can buy. They FAR outperform the Band-Aid brand. The Coverlets have adhesive completely around the sterile pad making it possible to really protect a wound from germs. I wasted money on the Band-Aid brand as they are only good for protecting a wound from bumps; they do not completely seal the wound.

  3. These bandages are completely worthless when it comes to keeping a wound clean and protected from germs. The inside sterile pad extends to the edge of the bandage on both sides; there is no adhesive to seal around the wound. I do like the fabric rather than plastic, but it you want to keep a wound clean, rather than just protecting it from bumps, buy the fabric Curad or Coverlet bandages.

  4. Once they get wet they come off. These are not made for children. They get their hands into many things that will ruin the adhesive on these bandages. I purchased one box and still have it half full. We returned and still use regular band-aids in my house.

  5. Having a flex bandage for minor cuts is a very good idea. However, these bandages do not hold up to water at all. By the second time I washed my hands the bandage would no longer stick around my finger. The sink water made the adhesive completely inert and it just would not hold. After replacing several of these Band-Aid Brand Flexible Fabric Bandages I went and got a traditional plastic adhesive bandage. These are good for skin cuts along joints where you have a lot of movement but just don't get them wet.

  1. I tried to use this product on my 14 month old who has strabismus in both eyes. The eye doctor wants us to patch each eye alternately for 2-3 hours. It was a struggle to get the product onto my daughter's eye, and once it was in place it did NOT stick well at all. She was able to pull it off herself in a matter of moments. I feel I wasted my money on a product that will not serve me. However, it will probably work well on older children who don't fight it as much. For my daughter, I have found that the coverlet brand works much better...it is stickier so she cannot just pull it off.

  2. We have purchased the Nexcare brand Opticlude patches for a little over 2 years now. Our daughter has sensative skin and had developed a rash with other brands. This brand works well for her and doesn't leave the sticky residue from the patches. The price for these patches are great through Amazon versus buying one box in the store. I would recommend these patches for children.

  3. My child has amblyopia ("lazy eye") and the doctor said she needs to patch her good eye in order to make the weaker eye work harder and make it stronger. I have used these eye patches and they seem to work well. I try to use each eye patch twice (about two hours each day.) The patches are thin so they work well with being able to wear her glasses over them.

  4. My 3 year old has been tasked to have this patch for 3 hours a day. It stayed good for the period we needed. Even when cried it did not get really bad. But, we make sure that he does not cry when the patch is on. While peeling off if you are too quick or aggressive, little one develops rash otherwise no signs of wear at all. I am glad I purchased this from AMAZON not the regular size from walmart and other stores. Hope this review helps and good luck with your little ones.

  5. My daughter has a lazy eye in her left. She wears the eye patch everyday for 6 hrs. It is somewhat sticky for everyday patching.
Before wearing, you can stick it to your arm and detach it and then use it. It is much better.
Overall, I am satisfied with the quality.

  1. Why is that?

    - The fabric moves and stretches with you. Other bandages do not and pull off.
    - The adhesive is strong. Albeit, I only use it on adults as it might be too strong for my kids.
    - The gauze is absorbent and does not stick to the wound.
    - The fabric breaths. I stay away from the waterproof types under normal circumstances as I want the wound to also get some air.
    - The bandage stays put. I put it on and never worry about it coming off before it is time to change it.

Foam bandages are a nice second place, especially for kids, but for an adult, there is no better bandage.

  2. There used to be a little red thread on each individual Band Aid wrapper, but they have done away with that and there is no other way to get the band-aid out other than just savagely rip it off. Of course, that often bends or tears the Band-Aid. If there is a better way, they sure don't make any reference to it on the package. You'd think the packaging engineers at J & J would be smart enough to have figured out a user-friendly way to open the darn wrapper. Sadly, other bandage makers are no better. What is it with bandage makers?

  1. I had never used these until a week ago. I had to buy new boots for my uniform and they tore up my heels pretty bad. I went straight to the nearest drug store and bought everything they had for blisters, including these Band-aids. these were the last ones I tried because I didn't think they looked like they had enough padding. I was SO wrong! These are BRILLIANT!!!! They act like natural skin, and absorb any bodily fluids to create a padding like a real blister would, but these don't hurt. The who9le surface is adhesive, which worried me a bit, but it's not sticky to the point it hurts to remove. I was so impressed and pleased with this product, i went out and bought another 4 boxes for any future boo-boos :)
These are the new staple to my medicine cabinet, replacing all the other band-aid things i used to buy.
    THESE ARE AWESOME!!!!!

  2. I am a runner who has to have orthotics because of severe over-pronation. The new orthotics gave me bouts of huge blisters that often reached the size of two quarters and were too large for the blister bandaids that I usually use (also highly recommend). These are the ONLY things that saved my feet. They stay on the soles of my feet for 2-3 days with no problem, even remain sealed to the skin in the bathtub or swimming. More amazingly, they're not terribly difficult to remove. I keep these stocked in my medicine cabinet and leave a box with my running gear all the time now. They're a Godsend!

  3. I have used this product for several years. I am 80 years old taking a blood thinner and have wore out skin. I am constantly tearing my skin. I apply this healing pad and leave it on until it starts to come off. When it comes off there is little or no evidence of an injury. I think it was made specially for me. THANK YOU JOHNSON & JOHNSON

  4. I have been using these for eight years. The first trial did not go so well though that was more likely at my own fault. Since then I am much more careful with significant scrapes and wounds.

Though this is a review for the larger pad, the rest pretty much do one thing right: they minimize immediate and eliminate long term healing pain. With scrapes that go beyond the superficial dermis layer, I noticed a problem: white blood cells would seep out to fight infection, though there was no scab to allow it to do its job. Instead of the scrapes drying out, they would just ooze white blood cells for days...
Thankfully with this, it acts as an artificial scab that is flexible and will never crack under any condition. The cushion it provides when the adhesive comes in contact with fluids from the wound is indispensable. Ive noticed healing time is shorter than with traditional bandages and if you wait long enough to remove the bandage, it will almost seem as though a miracle had transpired: the cut or scrape has disappeared!

I am writing this after a tumble I had while I was snowboarding. The pain from the scrape was pretty bad and I was sure it would leave a gnarly scar but after having changed the bandage, I'm confident there will be no scar. The best part is if disinfected properly, scrapes that would otherwise be susceptible to infection are completely protected from external bacteria. Advanced healing bandages are a product I will keep in my medicine cabinet for the rest of my life.

  5. I love these patches.
A couple of years ago, I fell on my concrete backdoor steps. I ended up with a hole just below my knee. All the skin was stripped off of an area about an inch and a half in diameter. The wound was more than 1/16 of an inch deep. There was no skin left. I am an older woman, and diabetic, so I had quite a bit of concern about infection and healing. I cleaned my wound thoroughly, and applied one of these patches. Abut 4 or 5 days later, I removed the patch to see how it was doing, and was very surprised to see that the wound was granulating in from the edges, and was very clean. I applied another bandage, and again left it on for several days. I did this about 3 to 4 times. Today, there is no sign of the injury except a slightly paler area of soft skin. There was no infection, and no scaring. Although what is there is considered a scar, there is no apparent difference in texture from the neighboring skin. I have used these patches in other instances, though not as serious, and have had the same results. I think they are an outstanding product, and well worth the price. And the price here, was very reasonable.

  1. My dermatologist told me that these bandaids were of much higher quality than those available in the drugstore, and she was right. They stay on much better than the usual. However, they do not have a box of mixed sizes so you need to buy several boxes to get the variety you are likely to need. This makes it rather expensive and you get enough bandaids to last several years, depending on your family needs. I think it is worth it and am delighted with my purchase since I am a gardener and get lots of little scrapes and cuts.

  2. I am allergic to Band-aid brand band-aids (the adhesive AND the center pad). I noticed that the bandaids put on me after my blood gets drawn at my doctor's office did not irritate me. So I asked them what they used.
It was Coverlet brand. I could not find this brand on store shelves.

With all the allergic responses to various substances these days, it's nice to know these are available to we sensitive-skinned individuals!

  3. My son hurt his finger today at school. He was bleeding pretty bad from his cut and a regular bandage could not adhere and stop the blood from coming through. The teacher sent him to the nurse and she put the Coverlet Adhesive Dressing on his finger - one of the finger bandage shapes - and it is real nice. I don't see any blood coming through and it is very flexible and stuck on his finger securely. Usually with the store brands he needs replacement bandages often because they fall off and they also don't "breath" and flex as well. So, from first hand (or finger in this case) experience, these are EXCELLENT bandages.

  4. Coverlet Bandaids are the very best I have ever found. They stay on in all kinds of conditions unlike other brands. They are latex-free so do not cause skin reactions. They are used in hospitals and in industrial situations. I have not found them available in most retail stores.

  1. I bought these bandaids to get rid of the sorry dora the explorer bandaids. I cut myself shaving, right on the side of my cheek. So I placed one of my bacon bandaids right on the cut and went about my daily routine. Later that day I went for a walk in the neighborhood. All of a sudden a pitbull lunged out from behind the bushes and attacked my bacon bandaid. Now my face is mangled and no amount of bacon bandaids can help.

  2. Stops my 2 year old from crying in a heartbeat because of its cute design.

  3. This gift is perfect for anyone. After all, bacon is the world's perfect accessory meat. I gave these as stocking stuffers at my family Christmas, and they were THE favorite item. Looks delicious and is functional.

  4. These bandages are very cute an my 10 yro daughter loves them. She said it makes her boo boos feel better. They arrived promptly and were packed well. I would buy again and recommend to others.

  5. I was totally looking forward to showing off my bacon bandages but they never showed up!

This is the first time in my life that something having to do with bacon didnt turn out right.

    For shame!
