1. You have to screw the screws in really tight here, or else it will keep coming loose. I nearly declared this product defective, but I just didn't have the screws in tight enough.



2. Clunky design. If you're not careful, the GPS doesn't click securely into the bracket. Your first warning that it isn't seated is the crash of the GPS unit onto the pavement. The mounting screws come without lock-nuts, and they loosen, letting the bracket rotate out of place. Switching the bracket from bike to bike is a real pain. And that price! For half the suggested price of this bracket, you can buy a high-powered, long-life bike headlight with a GREAT mounting system. Since there's no competiting product -- and the bracket does work if you put lock-nuts on the screws and pay very close attention to snapping the GPS unit in securely -- I'm recommending this product for those who need it. However, if TomTom or Garmin comes up with a better bike-mounting bracket, it will be the deciding factor when I select my next GPS.



3. This bracket works perfectly with my eXplorist 200. Screw it onto your handlebar, snap the eXplorist in place and ride to your heart's content. I mostly ride streets and bike paths. The 200 is held tightly and has never fallen off the bike. If you go off-road, because of the weight of the eXplorist, you might want to secure it with some duct tape or Velcro.



4. This mounting bracket has a number of shortcomings that make it difficult to recommend. First, mountain bikes typically have handlebars that are wide at the stem and taper and bend towards the grips. If you have a mountain bike there is a good chance the bracket will not fit your handlebars well. Second, if it does fit, the weight of the eXplorist will cause the bracket to twist as you ride unless you really tighten it. This is especially bad if you have a carbon bar. You may be able to mount the bracket close to the stem so that it also rests against it for support. This will keep it from rotating while riding.
   
   If Magellan had made the metal parts of the bracket so that it could be rotated by 90 degrees it could be mounted on the stem. This is a far more stable area for something heavy. Unfortunately this is not the case. As another reviewer mentioned, most bicycle lights have better mounting designs.



5. I got an explorist 200 as a gift and wanted to try is as a bicycle speedometer. Since it has a crude street map database I thought it might be useful on my road bike. I'm not very happy with it but that's a different review. The mounting bracket is big and clunky. It looks like the designer made a universal piece of plastic and then added a makeshift metal handlebar clamp. It's much heavier and bigger than it needs to be.

1. Handlebar bracket had way too many parts. Ended up breaking an internal plastic part when I tightened product. I had to modify the bracket and it now functions acceptably.

1. Was sold to me as an accessory but wasn't needed because there was already one that came with the GPS. Had to return it.



2. I purchased this power adapter for a Magellan 760 Roadmate navigator. I also ordered the connector for the navigator at the same time. The add from your recommendation had no indication of unavailablity of the part. They, after a month still have not filled the order and without the item I cannot use the power adaptor.

3. perfect replacement for original which developed an intermittant after being caught in glove box door. A better replacement than the Radio Shack universal since the orignal fits better. I still use a rubber band to hold the power cord on to the GPS to prevent accidental separation.



4. I bought this and been using it for a bit now. I have not had any issues with it and so far it feels like it's not going to break.



5. THis power adapter works great...however I should have read closer to see what came with my navigation system...turns out I didn't need to buy this adapter:( Oh well that was my faught!

1. Far better than the standard gooseneck and swill on older models; stays on the window better, holds the GPS more securely. Why are accessories so expensive for these things anyway?

1. Excellent mount, even more duable than I could possibly require. I use it on my bicycle. Can be used to add a host of other product mounts made by RAM. I added black electrical tape around u bolt to avoid any scratching. I highly recommend this product and will look to RAM first for future mount needs.



2. The mount works great on my harley ultra. GPS is held tightlyand is easy to see. Great product!



3. As expected with a Ram product, this mount is well designed and secure. We've owned other Ram mounts for other GPSs and have never been disappointed in their quality.

1. I bought this adapter to replace the spiral corded one that came w/my RoadMate 360. The cord length on the OEM adapter was too short and the adapter would often come loose from the RoadMate. When I went to look for a longer one on Magellan's website, I saw they only had the same short adapter cords and they were all out of stock. Decided to look for one on eBay and Amazon. Amazon had the one I was looking for: long, non-spiral. This new adapter cord is great, the cord length is excellent and the connection tight. I'm very pleased!



2. This item replaces the manufacturer-supplied cord. Seems sturdier than the original, which cracked when I tried to remove it from the auto plug.



3. The cigarette replacement was a perfect match for my unit. The original cigarette cord received from Magellan was never quite right and eventually the connector broke off in the craddle.



4. I lost the original adapter and had a hard time finding another one. A little pricey but well worth the purchase. Durable and works great!

1. Easy to install 100% compatible. Much more convinient then the one that came with GPS.



2. This mounting bracket works quite well, very stable, easy to use, no vibration, a vast improvement over the flex arm models.



3. Very sturdy when placed on windshield or on mounting disks on my dash, glad I order 2 of them



4. I have used this suction cup for over 1 year now. This product works great. You may want to consider buying an additional cradle for the GPS. This way you can move just the GPS between two cars.



5. Does not work with The 4040 unit. Do not watse your money on this product.
