  1. Overall, reasonably satisfied with product. Status display is quite readable, However, Text to speech on street names is sometimes unclear, or even incorrect. Full Brightness is not adequate for seeing on a clear sunny day.

  2. I looked at product reviews on lots of different models. This one had a good screen quality rating and is 4.3 inches, so he can see it well. I'm glad I didn't go any smaller or with a lesser screen. He wouldn't have been able to see the maps clearly and would have to rely on voice instructions. He's 45 and his eyes aren't that bad but he does all his work on computers and is used to good/large monitors.

  3. This is the third TomTom I've owned among numerous GPS units of various brands that I've used regularly. Now that I've had it for a month or so I'm hoping some of my experiences will be useful.

Initial setup: The TomTom Home software is OK. I had no problem updating the maps to the latest version. Even with a fast Internet connection, this took a couple of hours to download and install. Although I didn't have any issues, I agree with other posters' recommendations to back up the unit before beginning the update so, in case anything goes wrong, you will be able to restore the unit and troubleshoot it instead of potentially being stuck with a useless device. An annoyance with TomTom Home is that it cannot gracefully accomodate more than one TomTom device: you have to use a different account login (associated with a different email address) for each GPS unit you wish to manage. This is an inconvenience in my household, but it could be a show-stopper for anyone managing multiple devices regularly, such as a small business or fleet user.

Installation: The included slimline mounting bracket takes some getting use to but holds the device securely. I have had no problems attaching the GPS to the windshield. Since I travel with this unit often, I appreciate the compact design as it fits easily in my briefcase--much more so than a traditional suction cup mount. Note that this mount was probably designed to work on glass only, as unlike classic suction cup brackets I have not been able to use it on smooth dashboards or other parts of the car.

This TomTom uses a standard mini-USB connection for power (and data). Both included cables--a cigarette lighter adapter and a straight USB-to-miniUSB cable--connect firmly and work well. The connector is located in a deep well at the lower center rear of the device. If you want to use an existing mini-USB power connection or another manufacturer's cord, please make sure the plug will fit. The Motorola cell phone charger cords I carry in my cars are a *very* tight fit and need some fiddling and pressure to squeeze into position and make contact.

Use: Navigation is quick and easy. It appears to calculate and recalculate routes faster than older TomToms. The lane guidance feature is very useful, especially when traveling unfamiliar roads or in city areas with complex interchanges. The "IQ route" function that takes local conditions into consideration to suggest the fastest route appears to help. In a limited side-by-side comparison against a slightly older Garmin Nuvi, the TomTom picked a couple of minor variations that did in fact make the trip shorter.

I have also been pleasantly surprised by the device's battery life. Unlike earlier generation TomTom's, battery life has been sufficient to make several runs that previously required plugging in the GPS. I have also been able to operate the device longer after receiving a low battery warning.

I wish it were possible to input an address without knowing or guessing at the city name. Most of the time this is not an issue, but when driving in a metropolitan area with many small suburbs strung closely together, this would make things easier and faster.

Compared to previous generation TomToms and other manufacturers' products, the TomTom performs very well at a very reasonable price. You get a lot of useful features in a nice package for not much money.

  4. I had trouble with my TomTom GPS so I called them and they ran me through several things that I had already tried, soft reset, hard reset, save everything to computer harddrive and format TomTom and place everything back on TomTom. Everything failed. I played with it for a week and finally got it to respond but it was sooooo slow. Finally it came time to install a new map on it and now the street that I live on is no longer on its maps. What the heck?!?!? Truly a backwards company.

  5. This TomTom was not as described. It does not have mapping capabilities like I was told (repeatedly) by TomTom's customer support.

  1. I chose this product because I was told by my sister about the greatness of its features. Additionally, her review was backed up by most of Amazon's reviewers. Upon receiving the product, I was disappointed to find there was no or little direction on how to use it. Not that I'm computer illiterate but this was my first Garmin. So, a little direction would've been greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, the touch screen was wacky. There were 2 icons available on one of the screens and I was clicking on the icon "Where to" and received the "View Map" screen instead (which is the other icon). I tried to click "Back" and received the "Settings" instead (which is another different icon). I kept hitting "Back" and "Back", and, suddenly, the screen took me to things like trip calculator and statistics, etc. I had problems inputting street #'s and names accurately because I had to keep hitting erase (which often leads me to a different character). Sometimes I would click a letter and some other letter that is not in close proximity of that letter would pop-up. During the first few incidents I thought I was imagining things until the incident with the icons.

Next problem is the slow direction. I tested the product going to and from home. I am familiar with the traffic routes and not once it gave me warning that there will be traffic ahead; it didn't give me alternate routes to avoid traffic; and the direction was sllllooooowwww! It will tell me where to exit either while I had just past it or about to pass it. Okay... that's lame, I thought.

All in all - I had to return the item after 2x of use. I was mostly frustrated with the touch screen. Coupled with the slow direction, I wouldn't recommend this item for my senior citizen parents! After experiencing such difficulties, I found 765 nuvi @ Costco and almost all of the reviewers were having the same problems. I feel so validated! Especially after reading all of the great reviews by Amazoners... I thought I was the only one having these problems. (sanity restored!) :)

  2. This Garmin has all you need in a GPS. It comes with features that usually accompany higher end models. It's ease of use is a joy. Definitely a good buy.

  3. Lived in California all my life--"many years" And felt I knew how to get to anywhere I wanted to go...However, Went to Stanford to a lecture from Marin--Did Mapquest for route--worked fine except ,when leaving for home it was DARK-could not see street signs..and the route i came in on was full of no left turns..If it had not been for the directional letters on my rear view mirror I would have ended up in San Jose..I had to stop at Starbucks to get direction to get back to freeway...
Love my GPS...used it to re-route when I tried to take short-cut in Sacramento to get around roadwork...
    Thank you GPS

  4. I like it.. but the lane assist can be better. and i don't see to much 3ds on the map even
though it says 3d maps on the description. muti language is good too. my mom can easily understand
if the lane assistance and be like the graphic shows then it's good...

  5. IT works really well. The only issue we have had with it is that it was advertised blue tooth compatible but it is not. In addition to view your pics, you must first go online to format for your nuvi. All in all a nice device. Traffic detour works like a charm.

  1. Gets me where I want to go and tells me when I will get there very accurately

  2. Everything about the unit is fine, but I specifically was careful to order a NEW unit, not a refurbished unit, but it was a refurbished unit that was sent. This leaves a really bad feeling with me that you don't received what you order. Amazon should penalize suppliers that don't ship a NEW product when that is what the description states. This is the second time I come across this issue.

  3. The ad was deceiving. It stated at least twice in large print that the item was "new". It also stated it was "reburbished" in small print. I called and spoke with a sales professional at Amazon and he assured me that the item was "new". When it arrived, I quickly discovered that it was "reburbihsed". I could have and would rather have paid a little more and got a "new" one.

  4. If you, like me, are contemplating a refurbished Garmin Nuvi 255W, don't hesitate. I have found it to be a great value.

    Value:
Refurb provides a measurable savings over a brand new model.
Garmin backs it with full warranties and benefits (I was able to download map and software updates for free within 30 days of my purchase).
All normal packaging, materials, and included accessories are included with the refurbs.

    Pros:
    Simple to use.
    Easy to install.
As accurate as other GPS units I've used (friends and family).
Can be customized through free downloads from Garmin.
    Reliable.
Easy to connect to a computer for planning, saving favorites, etc. (I used a Mac and had no technical problems. Software is free from Garmin. (Extra maps are not free))

    Cons:
Garmin's user interface is not always intuitive. But once you get accustomed to it, it's a breeze to use.
Mac users will have to do a little research to connect and manage the Nuvi; it's not always intuitive or well-documented.

    Overall:
As someone who was looking for a value and wanted a reliable product, I've found what I was after. I've had this unit for a over a month, and have used it on two roadtrips and locally. The unit has performed well, has been profoundly accurate (though not perfect), and is more-or-less a breeze to use.

  5. We have used our Garmin often and it works really good. Very happy with it. The screen is very clear and easy to follow. The voice command is great especially if you are driving alone. Great product and a great price.

  1. This is the second Garmin I've purchased in the last few years. My first was stolen from my rig. Satisfied with the product, I ordered the nuvi 780. The GPS device works fine. The problem is with MSN Direct service. It is only good until January 2012. So garmin & Amazon is selling a product that is outdated at the time it is purchased without informing the buyer. I e-mailed Garmin about the problem. Their response was that it was Amazon's responsibility, not theirs to inform buyers of the condition of sale. They said that I should have went to Garmin web site before purchase.

  2. I was looking for a GPS that had hands-free bluetooth technology to integrate with my cell phone. That combined with the FM frequency make driving and talking on the phone very convenient. I've not gone on any long trips yet but the maps seem fairly accurate. However, I have had a couple occasions on major highway bi-pass areas where it seems to get very confused as to the actual direction I'm headed. I'm hopeful that this will be an isolated issue. The upcoming street names are displayed which is nice and helpful as the verbal commands seem to be delayed at times.

  3. I gave this garmin to my boyfriend so I haven't gotten to play with it like he has but from what I can tell from his attitude about it and the things he has told me, as well as what I see when we are in his vehicle, he absolutely LOVES it!! And I think it is pretty cool too!! It does things I didn't even know it did and he constantly is telling me little perks about it that are pretty neat. So far, I think it was a great buy and a definite hit with my guy!! Thanks Garmin and Thanks Amazon!

  4. I recently purchased a Garmin nüvi 780 to replace a stolen Garmin nüvi 660. The 780 is really slick. I haven't used all of the features yet. Some of the simple basic in the 660 are located in different places on the 780. The map graphics are very detailed. I have found there is so much info in the database that it takes a little longer to load the maps. It also stores your last location. I really like the quick release mount/charger (both for the unit and to your windshield dash); this allows for a quick storage/ removal. The choice of languages are expanded. You can set a voice foreign language & keep the text in English.( It can do Icelandic :)... pretty neat) The volume adjustment is easy to use once you click on the button you can scroll to decrease/increase the volume. I haven't used the bluetooth, or the MSN trial yet. I just completed a trip to the DC area and it worked great. This is a great upgrade or a good gps for a new user. Good value.

  5. perfect for my needs love how it automatically recalculates when missing a turn and ease of view day or night

  1. I've never owned a GPS before this one and purchased this particular model after reading the reviews. I wanted one now since I am moving to Florida and find myself having to travel to both the East and Gulf coasts. The only thing I found quirky was that it thought I was still in FL when I got back to NY, but we got it straighten out. It also navigated me through some questionable neighborhoods in my area, but how is it to know? It recalculated quickly after I didn't go the way suggested. We also have been going to new restaurants during Restaurant Week and though I've lived here all my life I don't know my way around. All my driving has always included driving past a turn or the destination itself turning around and going back. No more. It hasn't steered me wrong yet.
I've used the bluetooth with my Samsung SH-A707 with success. I know its an older phone -- but if something works great for me I keep it. I'll be keeping this GPS for awhile too.

  2. As a 63-year-old novice to the world of portable GPS, I spent several weeks surfing the Internet and talking to friends in trying to determine which one of the wide variety of brands, models and features would be best-suited to me. I read product descriptions, technical details, and user ratings/comments relative to numerous portable GPS units. I came to the following conclusions:
    (1) based upon its huge market share and industry reputation, Garmin would be a
    safe bet, and
    (2) minimally, my GPS would have to possess the following characteristics/features:
ease of use, a wider screen(4.3"), Text-to-Speech(TTS)directions and Bluetooth
    capability.
After that, it was a relatively simple task to scroll through the Garmin models to find the least expensive one that met the above criteria. The Garmin 265WT turned out to be the one.

I've had the unit about a month. I'm not "technologically savvy" by any stretch of the imagination, but I was able to use the 265WT, without any assistance, right out of the box on the very same day it arrived at my home. It is so easy to use, and does everything I needed. However, by reading the manual, I'm discovering so many other useful/interesting/fun things it can do. What a blast! It's simply fantastic!

  3. good gps for the money. was looking at the 255w but this unit had the wireless bluetooth and thought I would get it for that reason. Have to say I am not impressed with the bluetooth feature as everytime I get in the car the gps says that the signalfrom my cellphone is disconnected and Ihave to manually enter mypassword onthe cellphone a few times.
Here is my opinion on all gps units: If you are not good with directions, the gps will get you there but in a circuitous route most of the time. The reason you think they work is that they will get you to a destination eventually. Test the gps by asking for the route on commonly driven destinations and you will be surprised how many times you will ignore the gps route.

  4. We are really happy with this device. We travel a lot so it is very convenient to throw in a rental car or just our own car around town.

  5. This is my third GPS. My first was the Garmin Streetpilot 330C, arguably the best GPS ever made. I sold it to get a 340C, which is essentially the 330C with street name announcing, which is an essential feature. It also performed excellently, but one day I saw an ad for a refurbished 265WT at a can't refused price, and jumped on it.

So far, the 265 has performed as expected. I like the wider screen and its slightly (but not drastically) faster satellite reception. Unlike the 340C, which began to take longer and longer to pick up satellites and lost reception on a regular basis, the 265 hasn't lost reception once. I like having speed limits and graphics of upcoming turns displayed, although I find it bit confusing to have the name of the next turn, rather than the current street I'm driving on, displayed all the time. If you have 50 miles to go until your next turn, it doesn't do you much good to see that name of that next turn off on there. No big deal, though. The voice quality is roughly the same as the 340 (which was not as clear or loud as the 330, but I suppose the need to do text to speech created this compression). I like having a wider range of accents to choose from. On the 340, I always used the authoritative British female voice (we called the 340 "The Nanny" because she was a bit stern), but now I'm using the female Australian. I also like being able to download extras like vehicles.

In terms of the interface, it's not incredibly different than the 330/340. I do like having the QWERTY keyboard even if the buttons seem a bit smaller than the older Garmins.

It's a nice unit, but not perfect. I've had a couple of routing glitches where, even with "less time" and "shorter distance" chosen it still sent me on a longer route and didn't recognize a shortcut I know about. On another situation, one time I was less than a mile away from my house but the 365 said it would be another hour before I got there. The FM traffic function isn't particularly timely or accurate, indicating traffic jams where none exist. Battery life is anemic compared to the 330/340. And is kind of bothersome that it doesn't come with a separate charging cable. I have two different legacy Garmin charging cables that I've been thinking of trying out (since they all use the same adapters), but I'm afraid of burning it out so I haven't done it yet. Fortunately, I do have my old 340 USB cable so I was able to use that to update the software rather than buy another. I'm not sure why the map update took 6 hours on some others' computers; on mine it got down in less than two.

The only thing this is missing for me is lane assist, but I've heard this works sporadically, and I think I'd rather have my eyes on the road when making a complicated maneuver than counting on the GPS screen, so it's no great loss.

Overall, a very good unit, especially if you can get it on sale. As I said, mine was a refurb unit that looked perfect.

  1. I like the size of the screen. It's easy to use the touch pad for entering addresses. I really like that the voice directions tell me what to expect in the future. Gives me time to plan and know what to expect. Great price too.

  2. My husband researched GPS systems and felt this was the best buy for the money. So now we both have one for our jobs in home health. I really like it. No frills or fancy stuff, unless you want it. I like that I can save addresses for my clients. No more studying the paper map for how to get around. I love it.

  3. Never before have I been this frustrated with a GPS.

    Points that drive me nuts:
    * horrendous UI - why the hell would they not have a button that instantly takes you back to the main menu? Sometimes it takes you 4-5 layers of navigation just to get back to the god damn main menu! Even just changing the volume takes you 2-3 layers. Turning on/off traffic rules takes 3-4. Whoever designed the UI was a usability retard.
    * Input lag. God awful lag. You can enter characters at about - 1 letter per second. Go any faster, the unit will inconsistently drop parts of your input. And even worse, you DELETE at about the same rate. It's frustrating thinking you precisely deleted the last 2 characters, when actually, the touchscreen registered 4 deletes, and the unit keeps on deleting while you're trying to input again.
    * bootup time: takes about a full 30-45 seconds to boot up. Come on Garmin, we're paying $100+. WHY CAN'T THEY SPEND 25 MORE CENTS TO UPGRADE THE CPU!?!?
    * splash page. After the unit boots up, there's a disclaimer page warning you not to use the GPS while driving. No way to disable this useless page.
    * update speed. awful. If you miss a turn, it'll take about 4 blacks before the unit says "recalculating". On top of that, will take about 5-10 seconds to recalculate, at which point, you've driven far past where the unit is recalculating from. Pretty much, if you miss a turn, you have to immediately park, and wait until the unit reorients itself and recalculate.
    * biggest source of frustration. When you first start off, the unit will say "please drive to selected route". It will NOT give you turn by turn directions AND, if you drive off in the opposite direction, the GPS WILL NOT RECALCULATE until it's about 1/3 mile away. This is fairly easy to do if you're driving opposite and parallel to the "selected route" on the screen.

I would not recommend this GPS to anyone. While the unit itself is pretty, functionality-wise, this is one of the worst products I have ever used.

  4. First unit stuttered so much it was barely useable. Maps, directions, etc. were all fine, but the voice directions were so broken it was pathetic. The 2nd and 3rd 255ws did the exact same thing. I finally convinced Garmin it was broken on the 3rd RMA and they sent me a 265wt instead. That one works. Save yourself the hassle and don't get this model.

  5. Can't beat the price for the product. Does everything you need it to. One word of advice, get the portable stand for the unit so you can rest it on dashboard and it does not slide. The suction cup it comes with works fine but I don't like to advertise I have a portable GPS to steal when my truck is parked. The stand can be placed on the seat with the GPS attached to it when not using, works great for me.

  1. Received the Garmin 205W a few days later than anticipated. Product performs as indicated. Being a 1st time user, a small instruction book would be a good addition. after playing with the unit a few times one can link to locations and maps without much problem. When errors or mistakes are made the operation is extremely forgiving and easily corrected.

Good product for the $$... Highly recommended be this mapping rookie....

  2. The price is amazing. The item itself was good quality and easy to use. I enjoy the product every much.

  3. This is a great GPS, very easy to use, and works great. It doesn't have all the features of the better models such as the GPS ability to say the street names instead of just saying "turn left", but it was far cheaper than the next model up.

    I would buy it again.

  4. This is my first GPS and the only regret I have is that I didn't get it earlier. I have it for one month now (bought it before a road trip). It never failed me. It is very convenient to just ask it for the nearest hotel. Satellite pickup is only a few seconds. It doesn't speak the street names but they are printed in the top of the screen.

  5. I love this little thing! I travel almost everyday for my business. This gives me a sence of security as well as extra time because all I have to do is type in the address instead of using mapquest ect. It it the best at night because it is so easy to see, unlike trying to read directions on paper in the dark. I call her "Alice". It may seen that sometimes she is taking me thru the rabbit hole of wonderland...but she always gets me there at the time she says she will!

  1. I was able to use my new Garmin right out of the box. Size is great & it's not obnoxious like some GPS are. Good value for the money!

  2. Purchased this to replace a previous Garmin that had outdated maps.

Was a bit surprised with this one that the map updates took 3 hours to download via the Garmin website on DSL. Had I known, I would have done it at my office where we have truly high speed internet.

Downloading seems to have been achieved without a glitch though.

I love the wider screen. My older one was the smaller screen.

    Very pleased with this item.

  3. The Garmin GPS is fine. It still takes to long to lock on the satellites. However, it is much better than the Garmin 205 I had before. It has some nicer features like: turns coming up, spoken directions and maps in one screen. Mostly I am impressed with customer service. It was shipped USPS. The mail person left the box, my mail and inserts on the front steps. We got home after dark and had no idea the box was there. Needless to say the dogs got it (along with the mail). Our Golden Retrievers promptly destroyed the mail, the GPS and everything in it. After checking credit card insurance and such I called Amazon. I was ready to explain my case. After the rep laughed (he apologized) he asked me to hold. About 2 min. later he came back on the line and told me he has a new one on the way. My arguments for replacement were not necessary. I am very impressed. Overall a good GPS, and great customer service. A loyal customer, thanks Amazon.

  4. I bought the Garmin in order to take it with me to Fl. I used it about 1 1/2 weeks and it quit working. It stopped working on my way to Kentucky where I am picking up my daughter-in-law to go to Arkansas for a military funeral. My son is in Afghanistan and his unit was hit and his best friend and team mate was killed. I now am going back to using mapquest, for don't have return information and it could not be here by tomorrow to help me anyway. I tried going into returns but it would not let me so now will see if this will go through. I will be home sometime next week and plan on returning this item at that time. I love amazon so hope this experience will not be a bad one.

  5. After 2 years of bugging my husband to buy me a GPS..Christmas,birthdays, Mother's Days etc....( I could have bought it myself but I wanted him to buy it for me LOL ..It's the principle of the thing, ya know !! )...He and 5 other guys took off for a snow goose hunt and one of the guys in the back seat had the Garmin 260w....On the way home my husband called and told me to order myself one, his treat ! YAY I won ! He was so impressed with this model..He liked that they could find a Walmart to buy their licenses, resturants in the town they were in, and pretty much every other aspect. I had printed him off lots of maps to get them there but he didn't need them...think of the ink we'll save !
As soon as I received it ( a kid at Christmas) I got it out of the box and plugged it into my computer to start the upgrade for maps...( don't forget to order a USB cord..it has an end on it that you probably don't have lying around the house and it isn't included). I played with the voices on the Garmin site and then went to another site to download some fun voices. ( I have Peter Griffith:) It has so many different languages/voices already loaded on the unit that I went in and deleted all but the English to free up space for more things that I will use ( my own pictures, games etc...) It was simple, I just googled for instructions.
I've never used a GPS but this was a piece of cake. The quick start guide made it simple. I'm in love with my LONG awaited GPS ! Garmin is great ! It was the testimonials on Amazon that convinced me that this was the best model for my needs ! Thanks Amazon !

  1. Nice GPS with lots of features that works well. But, as with any GPS in the mountains of TN don't rely on it entirley to get you where you want to go.

  2. I have had several Garmins in the past and they all worked fine (except for the earlier versions a few years back where software was very buggy), the 765T works fine as expected. Screen does not seem to be as responsive as the older versions even after I did the screen calibration, not really a big problem though. FM transmitter does not have auto tune like the older versions either, but again not a real big deal unless you travel through different cities which would make you seek out an unused FM station manually. Surprised to find out that power adapter and carrying case is not included anymore, for that matter, I did not even see the power adapter as an accessory with the exception of the AC/DC converter, but I still can use my other Garmin power adapter with it. I paid over 700.00 for my first Garmin a few years back and I paid under 200.00 for this one, so I am happy in general.

  3. I travel for work and I use this at least twice a week to navagate to areas I haven't been before and it is getting the job done. I switched from a Magellan to this Garmin. I have to say that after getting used to it I like the Garmin interface a little better. It has a better keyboard layout and it searches a little more friendly. The traffic feature is nice and seems to work well. It does give you a few advertisemnets because of the the traffic feature but they really don't get in the way.
It does tend to navagate you through some more city like areas when you could take a quicker but less direct route around it. It hasn't been real bad though.
This is a really nice unit and I would recomend it and I have.

  4. Very accurate. The traffic warning is quite good, but sometimes it does warn a little late.
The FM transmitter is not that good, but I just use a cassette adapter and that works great.

  5. Very good driving directions, for those of you who are like I used to be and print out directions to everywhere you are going this will make life easier. 10 programmable waypoints, ability to search for local points of interest, hospitals are just a few things that make it great. I would recommend this to anyone.

  1. I love this GPS. This is my second GPS and by far, it is the best one I could have bought.

  2. Stupid me. I bought the unit to replace my aging 205 only to find that I can't move my Euro maps over to the new unit. I called Garmin and they said I have to buy a new map set. New maps cost more than the 285. If you have an older GPS don't bother with an upgrade. You lose.

  3. Very happy with this item and its a very good value.I wanted to give this 5 stars, but I cannot because of the following; (1) The Garmin website took a very long time to download the 2010 map to this devise which came with a 2009 map - but that was free - and its not my computer or isp. (2) The Garmin website does not do a good job of promoting the really cool free function where you can "send" directions from Google Maps direclty to the device using the included usb cord. I discovered this myself from a Google link to the Garmin website to download this utility. Some things I like about it are; the choices you can have for the map details, the bluetooth speakerphone capability with my cell - sounds perfect! Using it as a portable digital picture frame for my photos to share with friends. It constantly revises your ETA to your destination. It tell syou the speed limit of the road you are on as well as the speed you are going right side by side. The "British english" voice is much better than the "American English" voice LOL.

  4. Purchased the item for my wife and got it in just 3 days. Amazon delivery system is just Outstanding. The price/offer was irresistable. Garmin nuvi's GPS are 2nd to none; easy to set up and friendly to use. I will recommend this item to friends and family members. Thank you Amazon for your great customer service vision and much better prices than WalMart or BestBuy.

  5. Overall, it is a great GPS. Sometimes, though. It takes a while to connect to the satellites. But I guess that is because we always have overcast sky in Seattle.
