1. I wasn't sure if the box was empty, the shield is so tiny. When you apply the shield to the surface, you can only adjust its position for about 20 seconds. If you try to handle it to reapply, your fingerprints will be all over it. So get it right the first time, works great.

1. I bought this mount to replace the OEM BMW Navigator mount on my 2006 K1200LT BMW motorcycle. Since I am using a Garmin 2820 rather than the very pricey BMW version that is rebadged, I was unable to use some of the functions of the OEM mount. Also, the OEM mount interfered with the Sunshade brand shade to block sun off the display. The mount is smaller and operates in the same manner as the original. I am very pleased with the product.
