1. This is just like having all of the paper Fishing Hot Spots paper maps but much better and without the bulk. It was very easy to transfer the maps to my Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx. The maps have lots of detail with hot spots marked. Each hot spot has pull up information with probable species identified and tips on fishing that spot. I have not used this on the water yet, but will be doing so early this summer.

   This product was very easy to put on and I haven't touched it since! (and it's been a year now). I never see scratches on my TomTom. Even though you probably don't really need this product, it is great to know you have extra protection without any visual drawbacks.

1. With hopes that I could interface my GPS315 with my pc and store trips that I had taken as well as set up my unit for new trips I ordered the DataSend software. I was quite dissapointed to find that it is ONLY a compilation of waypoints(landmarks as Magellan calls them). You can only put the landmarks into the GPS. It lacks the capability of storing data FROM the GPS which is very important for finding fishing spots or recording previous trips. I have found another product that I hope can do that (DataTrack) but thats not available on Amazon. Additionally the maps are not detailed enough to plan a trip. I wish I could return this product.



2. This program doesn't add any useful features to your GPS. It allows you to add things like ATM's, gas stations, etc.; all of which you would be able to find on the highway without using your GPS.

   In other words, don't waste your time.




3. I'm surprised by the poor reviews here for the DataSend CD. This product does the job Magellan advertises. If you are a pilot, the CD has airport locations you can download. If you have the GPS 315 and want to download the nautical NavAids that the GPS 320 has, you can. I use this program to download the interstate exits. Then I can see how far I am from upcoming exits when I take long trips. However, like all of the software from Garmin and Magellan, it is priced a little too high.



4. Don't waste your money on this dumb, useless product.
