1. This book is brilliant. It helps me to learn about techniques that I have never learned before as a florist. You just have to have it.



2. The book's title is "The advanced guide to floristry" and it is indeed advanced in their aesthetics, with lots of photos of modern floristry designs.

   Nevertheless, there is no description of display construction methods, the information upon flower & foliage selection (varieties etc) is scarce, and the text comprises only an overall view of the different displays.




3. The content of this book is excellent. My staff and I learned several unique techniques on how to manipulate plant material. We also got inspired by the modern designs featured. As a professional flower designer, I recommend this book to everyone interested in augmenting their knowledge and skills in advance floristry techniques. Thank you Rosemary Batho! 1. It surprised as to the number of colorful pictures used. I can find almost any flower I want and the book gives me a short description, something I neve suspected in a floral arrangement book. I was very impressed!

1. The reason why my rating for this book is so low is that I don't feel that it is very helpful in creating a wedding. The book shows basic techniques as for stitching, but it mainly only addresses a few important aspects of a beautiful wedding such as ring bearer's pillow,bride's garter, invitations, flower girl's basket and bridal accessoires such as gloves, shoes and hair decoration.I felt that this book was no big help in the decision on how to decorate the ceremony or the reception place and that some of the wedding aspects mentioned above were not covered in appropriate depth. Instead this book seems to focus a lot on how to preserve wedding memories including how to make a keepsake wedding album. I was very disappointed because I thought that this book would cover all the basics and mainly concentrate on the ceremony and the reception.
   So in other words anyone who is looking for a book that shows how to make a wide range of necessary, useful and basic things for their wedding shouldn't buy this book, because this resource is not sufficient for that purpose. At the other hand someone who has books that cover (most) the basics and feels like receiving some new ideas they probably didn't think of some of the 'little nicknack ideas' mentioned in this book and should have fun with it. It does suggest some really cute crafts.
