1. This guide won't replace the instruction manual that comes with the game, but it is just as important. I got rather confused at first, playing without the guide. Once I got the guide, quests made a lot more sense.

1. This is pretty much designed as if you wanted to look at UnrealScript as a base programming language for learning basic programming skills off of. This is definitely not useful at all for practical modding or general game making. It just goes into very basic programming abilities that unreal script. To be honest, I bought this for a class that bases the language in unreal script. I thought this book may be useful since it is ALL IN ONE (yeah right!). I was already adept in basic programming and this book was absolutely useless for practical gaming modification.



2. While this book doesn't actully get into writing funtional Code for the Game as far as i have gotten that is. it deffintly a Good place to learn the base of UnrealScript code.
   
   With this base it and a review of other Scripts for the games it self, you can pretty much cobble togather anything.
   
   No I'm still not do with this book And untill then, This review remains standing.



3. This is book is not really about UnrealScript. It is an introduction to programming tough though Unreal Script. The book spends more time going over how to use tools than how to use the language. It appears the author set out to write a better book but had to finish in a weekend. I would not recommend this book for people like me looking for advances in UnrealScript and the classes of UT2004. I also would not recommend this book due to some LARGE mistakes in programming foundations. Not a good book for people looking to start game design. I wish I could have a refund.



4. I was looking for a book to give in depth information on Unreal Script and how to make your own weapons, mods, mutators and game types, but I have not find anything in this book that helps you make your own types.
   
   Unfortunately, this book was not what I was looking for. The title is misleading for its purpose.



5. I just got this book and after flipping through it, I'm realizing it's not what I wanted at all. It's a book trying to teach programming from step one using UnrealScript. The examples used don't involve games. The programming given is not something you can directly apply to games. It's just programming. Plain old programming. If I wanted this I'd go buy a C# or Java book, not UnrealScript. It is NOT game programming and so it really shouldn't be called UnrealScript Game Programming All In One.

1. The book really helps in making Sound Forge easier to grasp. It is a very deep program, and Scott opens all the layers just as he does with all his books!



2. As a voice over narrator I need the best sound quality I can find and Sound Forge is it. And to navigate this application, Scott Garrigus' book is a lucid guide, showing the way way this product works best. There's no better guide. Charlie Jacobs



3. It really wasn't what I expected. It's geared more for the music editor. I edit audio interviews and it really didn't discuss the major things I am interested in--eliminating distortion, mixing sounds, etc. Very complex.



4. If you are starting or even you are an expert with sound, this is a very nice an helpful book to be always with you.Very comprehensive guide, will introduce you in the art of making music using Sound Forge.
   So add it right now in your shopping cart....you won't regret it.

1. Bradygames has had a history of both good and bad books. This book is probably the best of their guides. I have the Limited Edition Guide and it ROCKS. It has more info than any other guide out for this great game. The Nintendo Power Guides don't list every detail and many things are out of order. In this guide, you will see nice maps, great strategies for both walkthroughs and trainer battles, and a great pokedex also. For Limited Edition Guide buyers, you will get an exclusive art book, which really doesn't include anything that you can't see for yourself except for some rare drawings of Miror B. (the head honcho of one of the gangs in Colosseum). The guide is just amazing. If you're gonna get a guide, then you must get this one. Not even the Prima Guide equals up to this. See what happens when you get rid of the head Prima Pokemon writer (Elizabeth Hollinger)? GREAT BOOK.



2. Since the Limited Edition Guide isn't listed, I'll say a few things about the ups of that too. This really is the best guide for Pkmn Colosseum, and in the Limited Edition, you get a bunch of extra things: full 3D artbook of all of the Pokemon in the game plus the main characters, a flier that tells you how to enter to win a free Pokemon E-Watch, and a nice case for all of the contents of the package.

   If you're looking for just the guide to the game, this product from Bradygames is the best of the best, and if you're willing to spend about $5 extra, you can easily get the above extras for a still-great price. Two thumbs up, Bradygames!

1. I found the guide very helpful in getting me past the places where I was stuck.



2. This game was exciting and interesting at every turn. The graphics are interesting and beautiful. The puzzles are challenging. The characters are well fleshed out and interesting.
   
   The only fly in the ointment is the several puzzles that require dexterity to get through. The problem solving in the Myst universe has never required such a level of expertise in timing and placement before. . . just find the answer and go has been the solution in the past.



3. I have used Prima Official Game Guide for all my Myst adventures. This one is taking me though the adventure without a hitch, so far. I am about 2/3 though. I like to play the game while reading the guide. Its more like the game is a high quality support for the guide. I don't like to spend too much time exploring on my own and spending hours on puzzles. I like the story, not the play. If there was no Prima Guide, I would never have finished Myst. I have however experienced and enjoyed them all and have ordered the final one.

5. This game is completely awesome, awesome awesome awesome. But very difficult. Nice graphics, beautiful soundtrack, interesting storyline, and highly immersive. Some drawbacks? Static (i.e. non-freemoving) 3D graphics tend to make you feel "stuck" at times, however the visual quality makes up for that. Also, some of the puzzles' solutions felt a bit arbitrary and did require some online hints to get past them. Nice to have a cameo by Peter Gabriel (voiceover and a remake of the song "Curtains").

1. I'm terribly sorry, but this is just one of those games that does'nt really need a guide. The layout and gameplay are simple, and the need for a walkthrough is rather moot. It is an good way to pick up odd hints or if you can't find something, but much of the info and "exclusive tips" are rather obvious. "wrap the AT-AT" or "try to get the hero". I mean, duhhhhhh. Of course you want to do those things. It's a waste of money unless you can find it dirt cheap. Save for a game instead.



2. I agree with the other guy who wrote this review also....you don't realy need the walk through part. I think that the vehicle and character descriptions are helpful though.



3. Star wars battle front 2 is a good game and the game guide is just as good.do not listen to these people.Lets say you are a jedi and lets say your mace windo.it will tell you the quickest way to kill CIS droids.This game guide gives specific details and great maps.



4. This is a simple and easy to use strategy guide. What a strategy guide should be, complete and thorough.



5. I found this manual very helpful, a nicely detailed walkthrough and maps that make sense, generally very usefull especially when you are stuck.

1. I've always loved the Soul Reaver series, so when I heard a 2nd installment was going to be issued a couple of years back I was elated. But much like the original, your going to need some help if you want to minimize your frustration with Soul Reaver 2's complicated puzzles and obstacles. That is where this book comes in. Prima's guide was to the point and provided clear instructions on how to master Soul Reaver. Beautiful color illustrations, some background information of the games characters, and combat tips made Soul Reaver 2 a much more enjoyable game to play. Thegame by itself is a masterpiece with stunning graphics, great story line, and very realitic environments, Prima's Soul Reaver 2 guide enhances the magnificance of this epic game.
