- I can beat the game now! ^.^ ~ now if only they would make a dynasty warriors 4 guide~
- I could have beaten this game without a guide to help me. However, I would have gotten my first social security check before hand. This guide defenitely a must have for anyone that wants to beat this game during this century.
- i dont actually have this book but can you tell me how to beat both the sabertooths, juggernaut, and lady deathstrike? i know there is a kind soul out there who will.
i know the first time you beat sabertooth he supposedly drops a card? where does he drop it? how do i get it?
- Anyone who has played Wolverine's Revenge knows this is no easy game but it's a fun one. It takes cunning, it takes strategy and it takes patience! It took me months and I had finally reached the last part of the very last level with Lady Deathstrike but couldn't figure it out! Nothing seemed to work.
Then I stumbled across a cheat code that allowed me to become invunerable and I finished the game. But somehow I felt deflated because I didn't "quite" beat her on my own terms so I purchased this GREAT guide! I am amazed at all it contains. It will tell you where every Cerebro file is, the best way to earn the most dog tags, the best way to take out the bosses, and best of all, how to stay alive in even the worst of situations!
Wolverine's Revenge is definitely a hard game but it is so worth it when you do it right! This guide gives you so much for a great price. It's a thoroughly enjoyable companion to a great game, which gets even better when you have this printed "preview of coming attractions." Just remember that even with this wonderful guide, you get out of the game what you put into it. I found that to get the most out of the guide (and the game) was to be very familiar with each section of the guide and take seriously everything it has to say. It will help you get what you need to win the game without having to test Wolverine's healing factor every five seconds! So, Claws out, head down and full steam ahead.

5 comments about The Sims (Prima's Official Strategy Guide).
- We became addicted to the SIMS game as soon as we got it, and eventually knew we needed to learn to understand our little people a lot better.
This book helped, but it isn't fantastic. Much of what you'll find in here you can find at the SIMS home page, and some you'll figure out by yourself, through trial-and-error. Some is common sense (before making any major change, SAVE your work so you can always go back). It offers some things, but omits others. For example, it gives a handy chart for skill levels needed to get promotions - what is missing is how to do what is hardest, develop and maintain friends, since having a lot of friends is both required for a lot of the SIMS to 'get ahead' AND is extremely difficult to do! Some of the cheats are OK, but the best ones you'll find through other sources. For SIMS beginners (perhaps as a gift for someone who just got the game), or those who can't get on-line, this would be helpful. For those who have been playing for awhile, or are on-line, this book would probably be a disappointment.
- This is a really great strategy guide. whether you are just starting or even a pro you should get this book! It helped me become the sim champ I am today as well as offers a good laugh too.

- When I first started playing this game, I made a family of eight people. Two kids. I didn't know about fire alarms or cooking skills. Four people (my men) all died. Then the others wouldn't work because they were too depressed. They spent free time wallowing in self-pity, mourning over the tombstones, and getting stuck behind furniture (and I couldn't figure out how to get them out).
I played the game for a year, figuring it out pretty basically, still not able to get past the rusted-up carpool car. I knew things got better for some people because I downloaded families that were rich and happy. That didn't last long - I just plain wasn't good at the game. Then, a light in the darkness, was this book! It was totally awesome! Whatever I needed help with was IN THERE. Now I've got happily married six-people families who are always happy! . Now I only trust maxis-mades, BTW. If you think you're an expert or not, everything really lies in this book.
- If you are having trouble with the Sims then this book is for you. It tells you every little detail about the game as well as graphs and charts that specify what you need to do to succeed.
The chapters are as follows... Cheats and Quick Start Tips Personality Mood and Motives Sim Autonomy Social Interations Careers and Skills Sim Economics 101 Building Sim Objects Creating your own Stuff As you can see, it covers every little aspect of the Sim world. It will help to start your sim family in the right direction and what traits your sim will need to excel at his or her career. It is filled with pictures, beta-testers tips, and little hints/cheats that will no doubt improve your gaming experience.

3 comments about F-15: Prima's Official Strategy Guide to.
- If you're new to flight sims and trying to tackle Janes' F-15, then you'll no doubt find this guide to be of great help. More experienced sim-pilots will enjoy the detailed graphs and weapons overviews, but much of the rest of the guide will be of little value for them. Much of the info in the guide is already available in the Expert Manual that came with the simulator. There is good information here for any player of Janes' F-15, but the focus is definately on the less experienced sim pilot.
- This book provides a wealth of excellent information on the Jane's F-15 combat sim. I progressed from a person who had not won a single dogfight to winning almost every single dogfight and destroying every single target I was sent out to destroy over the course of this book.
- I'm very happy with this transaction. The book is in good condition and the shipping to France was very fast. Thank you.

- The authors good intentions fell short in helping one better understand the game strategy and ability to figure out problems encountered in the various missions. Black and white illustrations were hard to decipher and help topics were too brief, often only one sentence, to be of much aid. More text content and color photographs would have made for a much nice guide. Although one will find some help topics of interest, the player will still have to mostly depend upon their own trial and error mistakes to learn how to advance in this game.
- I found this stratedgy guide to be extremely helpful. I have been playing this game for a while but until I read the guide I really could not score as high as I do now. Many pointers as to how to kill the many "Big Bugs" at the end of each level. I liked it and disagree with the writer from Texas. All of the stratedgy guides I have for all other games (which cost much, much more are in black and white as well. I'm happy! Thanks Knights.

5 comments about Creating Games in C++: A Step-by-Step Guide.
- Warning!!!! Warning!!! Do not buy this book!!! Too bad there is not a rating for zero stars. I am not a computer novice nor a programming beginner. The Good: The author tends to write in a very simple and straight forward way that makes the book easy to read and understand. The Bad: Too bad none of the code or examples work, including the infamous LlamaWorks2D engine that the book is centered around. Oh and by the way, the so called website for the engine does not exist. Question: How can anyone with a conscious ship this garbage knowing that none of the code works? Answer: Someone that needs to pay the rent, because they can not get a job programming.
- This book has been recalled by the publisher
- As other reviewers have stated, you cannot not get past Chapter 4 with the included CD. Either files are missing from the CD or the book does not give the proper information on exactly what files it needs you to move from the CD to your computer. The first few chapters are in-fact well written and easy to follow, but beginning at Chapter 4 the instructions become vague and the lack of working files on the CD do not allow you to continue any further.
I have wasted good money on a poor book. Look elsewhere for an intro to C++.
- this book has been recalled due to fualty programing in the game engine that comes with this book and the inability to get past chapter 4 with out that specific game engine.
- Too bad. This book starts out fantastic. Props to the author for putting together the best 95-page introduction to C++ I've yet read...but all of a sudden, at page 96, it becomes utterly worthless as the instructions for installing all the included software are fake or wrong or incomplete or something. Whatever happened, I hope it was the publisher's fault and not the author's, because I believed in him 100%. Really, too bad.
