5 comments about Unofficial Final Fantasy VII : Strategies & Secrets (Strategies & Secrets).
- no pictures (disapionting) some materia is wrong the advanced intelligence report's levels are way low. But otherwise it was a good guide
- This is the most horrid strategy guide i have ever laid my eyes on, a lot of the info is inaccurate and with lack of pictures, you lose your interest fast i suggest going with the official guide it is 999999999999999999999999999 times better!!!!!!
- It was nonspecific and a waste of my money. I ended up looking on the internet for half of the information he/she missed in writing it
- this game really helped me conquer the games toughest bosses and it was easy to under stand!im glad i bought this excellant book!
- I read this guide ...and thought it was brilliant. It gives you recomended Levels and told you how to get all the ultimate weapons including Cloud's Ultima Weapon (which it just got the evening!) I don't really mind that it doesn't have guides on what monsters you can morph into items and nick things from because I could just look at the site "Cheatplanet" or even find out for myself! I've read other reviews and people complain that there are no pictures in this guide but hardcore Final Fantasy gamers wouldn't care.
The Materia Guide was very accurate so it helped me quite a lot.Overall I thought this was an excellent guide eventhough it had some minor faults. I would heavily consider buying this off amazon.com. ... I thought I would never finish this game. (I still haven't, yet. I'm going to try to tomorrow.)

5 comments about Dragon Warrior Monsters: Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
- Lots of pics,info.......everything you need to conquer this game is in this guide.
- This is one of the greatest games I have ever played for Gameboy Color. I have searched for this book for a little over a year now and I have looked for it on every web site imaginable. I hope that this availability in 9-10 days isn't a dream. This book would make the game even more enjoyable. I hope that Dragon Warrior Monsters makes many more sequels.
- This is a game of incredible depth, and without the guide, i would have been lost. After putzing around with monster breeding and training for a bit, i decided to go for the most powerful monster in the game, Darkdrium. I'm still working towards that goal (albiet, not exactly at a break neck pace) and this guide got me there (i'm 3 crosses away from the final mating)... This guide provides valuable insight, breeding charts, and items, although doesn't fully explain some of the spells. All in all, its great.
- I got the game after seeing my friend get the game, I was doing fine but I never realized the full potential breeding possibilites for my monster untill I saw this guide. My friend doesn't have the guide anymore but I used it so much I have many of the combinations memorized!
- Why in blue-blazes is this guide so friggin expensive? when ti was in stores, it was only around $15..now it's $80?!

1 comments about Mutants & Masterminds: Golden Age Sourcebook (Mutants & Masterminds).
- There much to like and dislike about this product. What Golden Age presents is partially a setting and partially a genre within comic books. It is an explanation on how comics came about and the world in which they first emerged. Big names are dropped, more as examples in the historical section than any attempt to rip off classic heroes.
The history portions of Golden Age comprise pretty much half the book. Which for the most part is as it should be for any and all potential readers who did not actually live through this day and age in the history of the world. Focusing squarely on American history and more specifically comic book history as it grew from illustrated pulp fiction to the superheroes that it now represents in the majority, the book looks at how comics developed. Some of the bigest names in Comic Book History are mentioned and described primarily as they first appeared. The Golden Age itself stretches from about the time of the Second World War into the age of McCarthyism and the Red Scare. The how and why comics ended is also given without much praise or malice towards the turn of events that eventually led to the demise of comic books as it was then known.
While the book is not clearly divided between two whole sections of what has now been almost institutionalized as "Fluff" and "Crunch" there are some aspects of both. New feats to help relay the desperate times that people were living in as well as suggested rules for how to better portray the shortages people expeienced during the second world war are given. Several new archtypes are also introduced to help give player ready made characters to play with GM permission. A possible critical miss in this section is that the book relies rather heavily on the PDFs that Green Ronin sells to supplement the Archtypes given in the main book. A list of what archtypes that were already published at the time of the book's printing is rather helpful as it lists what is and is not approrpriate to the genre. Green Ronin and Ronin Arts really should consider publishing a book of the archtypes they have jointly produce, but this is just my opinion. There are also archtypes for villains typically seen at this point in time as well as the obligatory super teams of the Nazis and Imperialist Japan.
Golden Age could well be used as a base line to run pulp inspired adventures as well as campaigns based on comics other than superheros. The bottom line is that book provideds a wealth of information about a time in America where a nickel could buy a day's worth of entertainment or at least a few hours worth. If you are interested in role playing in this genre with the Mutants and Masterminds game even if it's a brief episode involving time travel you owe it to yourself to pick this book up.

1 comments about Ys: The Ark of Napishtim Official Strategy Guide (Official Strategy Guides).
- Since no one has posted a review for this, and due to the hit or miss nature of gaming guides, I'll take the initiative...
The guide is well written, contains no errors, and presents the information that you need to thoroughly complete the game with accuracy and organization. I really can't think of anything that the author missed. The guide does its job, though it is nothing spectacular.

1 comments about Tourist Trophy: The Real Riding Simulator (Prima Official Game Guide).
- If you have the game/motorcycle simulator, then I STRONGLY recommend this as a companion piece. It has some useful advice (though don't expect any cheats or walkthroughs, like on a standard game; remember, this is a simulator), but the main feature is the info on each of the bikes at the end.

5 comments about Trespasser : Jurassic Park Official Guide.
- This book is a must have if you want to go far in the game. It has detailed pictures and descriptions of every weapon, dino, and site on the island. Excellent book, but it should have come with the game. The dinkey little insert in the CD jewel case was NOT cool at all and not a great help. I agree with the previous reviewer, this book should've been with the game and all of us who have bought the game and then the book deserve a refund for the purchase price of the book. Good luck with the game!;)
- I think the book is great. I am a person who understands games, but I can't get this game without the book. If anybody out there wants this book but thinks it cost to much it is so worth it. I have barely had this game for a weekm but I'm already on level #3. On some parts you might think it's to hard, some parts it IS hard but I got through. I LOVE this book. The guns are really cool. I like the machine-guns the best. I repeat this is a must have for anybody who has this game!
- This book is great for any Trespasser fan, but there is a problem. The people who made the book used a slightly more detailed beta version of the game while writing the guide. Before the game's official release, things were taken out of this beta, thus forming what we have now.
Buy this book if you really need it, though be warned: some things that are in this guide are not in the retail version of the game.
- This is a really awesome guide for helping with Trespasser. The game stinks though, I give it two stars. This book actually makes it possible to finish the game. But, the big problem is that this book was made before the software was released. In that period of time, some of the things in the game were removed or changed, thus making it impossible to find it were the book tells you to. In one part, I was searching for this one key for days until I found it. It can really be stressful. But, it's better than nothing, so I really shouldn't complain that much. See for yourself, that is if you even like the game. See my review for the game for my opinion on that.
- I recently bought Trespasser, which is a widely misunderstood game. It is good, in my opinion, and the book is good. The book serves as a guide, and also shows us the "beta version" of Trespasser, which is awesome, but kinda stupid also, because some features, levels, things, etc. were left out unfortunately. This book is a must have for all Trespasser fans if you own the game. Buy this book on here, it's very cheap and shipping is cheap too! :)
