1. If you have Mortal Kombat Trilogy and you want to learn how to do ANYTHING in the game, this is a must buy. It tells every secret move, combo, fatality, animality, friendship, and brutality that all of the characters possess. It also tells the story of all the fighters. And what it has that most strategy or cheat books don't have is that it tells you all of the fighters' strengths and weaknesses.

   It is also a lot more convenient than any other strategy guide because it's small enough to fit in your pocket and you can carry it anywhere easily. It's one of the best strategy guides or cheat books ever made!

1. Does this game really need a strategy guide? There is virtually NO single player game (only good for learning the maps and weapons). This is an online game which means nothing is static about it. Every game will be different based on the skills of the other players. Sure the guide will point out key sniping and camping positions, but you know what, most seasoned CS players already know the best sniping spots and they also HATE campers!!! 2. I ordered this item: counterstrike for xbox strategy guide.
   some guy sent me THE WRONG ITEM: counterstrike conditionzero pc strategy guide. how useless and just plain creepy I mean think how many people right now are selling an item to people but there on the wrong list imagine this you order an xbox but the seller you bought it from thought it was the xbox s controller
   wow you can use that to play on the xbox that you will have in 3 months when you have enough money to buy one again jeeeezzzz
   talk about frustrating now wouldnt that just suck.



3. Prima's official strategy guide for the Xbox version of Counter-Strike is little more than a beginner's guide, but it's a thorough one. The beginning section of the guide is an in-depth explanation of the mechanics of the game for newbies with a few useful tips sprinkled throughout. The next part is the most interesting one - the weapons chart which shows you all the statistics for the weapon as well as the weapon's damage effect on an oppponent either with kevlar and helmet protection or without. The rest of the guide goes on to detail the individual maps of the game with overall strategies to detailed tactics. Overall, if you're already a mediocre CS player, you don't need this, but if you're new to CS, I'd consider purchasing it.



4. I oredered this guide thinking that it covered the original Counter Strike for XBox. Well, I was wrong. I was instead sent the guide for the game Sounter Strike: Condition Zero, which has the same maps as Counter Strike, but it's not what i ordered.

1. This book is full of it: maps, weapon reviews, character reviews, i can go on and on it's endless! Every page of this book explains everything right down to the detailed GOUHL pixel. If you want to get from the beginning to the end, get this book!

1. This book is quite helpful to guide you through the missions of Mafia. However, I sometimes found myself wishing for more detail, especially on some of the maps. There are many things that happen off the in-game map and I would have liked to have seen those. This is especially true for things such as the race track that doesn't have a map at all. Sure, the map isn't in the game and they couldn't have just taken it from there, but hey, for things I can get straight out of the game, I do not have to buy a book for!

   Overall, this is a pretty good book, and if I could, I'd probably give it 4 1/2 stars. But it's just not quite a 5.

3 comments about Iron Kingdoms World Guide: Full Metal Fantasy, Vol. 2 (Dungeons & Dragons d20 3.5 Fantasy Roleplaying).

1. What can I say abut this? This has to be the most comprehensive guide to an RPG world I have ever read. It reads like a history text and encyclopedia combined, but not as dry. The writers at Privateer Press have outdone themselves. Background info is given on the wonderful world of the Iron Kingdoms that they have shared with us. They go into such detail int he book. Each country's entry gives info that I wish other publishers put into their publications, such as the hierarchy of nobility and titles used. They even go as far to devote a section to ships used int he Iron Kingdoms and describe them.
   
   There is so much information here, most GMs will find it daunting to know where to start with what they have before them. But between this and the IK World Guide Vol 1, these stand out as the best written RPG products to come along in a long time.
   
   If you have any passing interest in the Iron Kingdoms, and even if you don't, this and the ocmpanion Vol. 1 book are highly recommended!



2. The Iron Kingdoms World Guide: Full Metal Fantasy, Vol. 2 is packed with awesome information about the world of the Iron Kingdoms. Great detail and very well written, I would highly recommend this book to anyone running an Iron Kingdoms campaign and anyone who simply likes a well done game setting.



3. I finished reading the World Guide this weekend, and felt like I had studied for an exam in European history...a very interesting exam that is.
   
   This book is chock-full of history and information on Western Immoren. Everything is incredibly detailed and yet extremely interesting.
   
   One thing that stood out to me was that it all "made sense". The history actually shapes itself into a logical sequence. I was always frustrated with regular genre fantasy...where nothing makes sense. This world does. It lays out why and how magic and technology has evolved, and how they are currently used...together and apart.
   
   The only downsides to me were the maps and some of the fonts used. They push so much information onto a small map area that it is hard to read at times. Resources and towns become cluttered, and make it difficult to even tell what the geography is. The other problem is that on some of the images in the book, they use a...I guess a gothic type font. That particular font is very difficult to read.
   
   If you are looking for a refreshing twist on standard high-fantasy, this book (and world) is for you. Check out the Iron Kingdoms: World Guide.
