- IT KICKS BIG BUT I BOUGHT IT FOR MY FREIND AND HE BEAT THE GAME IN ONE DAY! BUY IT NOW! ! !
- What can I say? This guide book is very well puttogether, aiding the young adventurer (i.e. you) thru his quest inbeating the Wind Fish and solving the elusive mystery of Koholint Island. It is very well thought out, with complete maps for everything. Of course, it being a guide book, if you really want to beat it you ought try to do it yourself first, and consult the book only when necessary. But they have done a very fine job.
There is one stint I have against it, however. At the beginning of each section, they have suggestions for things you ought to do. This is all well and fine - but one some of these they should direct you to the page number that dealt with that specific item or whatever it is. Example: they say in one of the later sections it is good to go and get your boomerang. You have to go back and find where they talk about the boomerang (which, as I remember, in the early part of the book, not the section it should be). But this is only a minor stint. Another good thing is they have a map, and on the back of that is where to get all the new pictures from the camera shop. The only problem with that is if you lose the map, you're basically [messed up] in the picture department. Visually very nicely laid out. You can very clearly tell where you need to go. The dungeons are taken step by step, and is an excellent example in the writing of guides. I would like to see more of their work: if its anywhere near this good, then they're great overall. They should be regularly featured guide writers (they probably are). The one problem I mentioned is only minor, and does not deserve to detract an entire star. Therefore, this guide book is 4 & ½ stars. Keep it up you guys!

- This guide helped me a lot to beat the game. I got stuck at the second dungeon so I bought the guide. The only problem is that the walkthrough for the seventh dungeon, Eagle Tower, I got lost and couldn't really figure out what to do, so I just walked around trying different stuff. But other than that, this guide is perfect and you should get it if you own the game.
- Excellent book!!! It helped my kids and myself complete the game! Help alot during complicated levels.

- Great guide it realy helps when you get stuck. Nice pictures and very helpful.
- So far the "Steam" online loader will not allow my game to run. After the first scene the screen freezes up. My system is newer (Only 6 months old) so it is not due to an ancient computer/ graphics card. Once I can actually load the game I will give a more detailed review.

- This is one of the much better books to come out in the "Dark Age" series, with several twists and turns and a plot and ending that will lead to more great books to come. Sorry, no spoilers here, but this one is a must-read.

- The only reason I bought this is because I bought the game with this which gave me 20% off on the guide. Only buy this if you get lost easy, can't follow instructions, have both console and pc versions, and you get a discount on it. The details on where to go are not really descriptive because the game is so simple. It points out the obvious and in some parts it doesn't even tell you where to go next. The guide is extremely short, also. Yes, it does look like a solid book but only half of it is on the console version of the game. The other half of the book is on the pc version. You'll be done with the book before you know it.
- This book was very informative and I probably wouldn't have beat the game without it. Of course, it left out some major parts that I had to figure it out by myself. But overall, it was really cool!!
- This book is a necessity to succesfully find one's way through the game scenes.
I got stuck at the cocktail party, unable to take photographs of the women - because the vague instruction booklet that comes with the game isn't that helpful and I had no clue that I actually had a cigarette lighter camera on hand to use... or how to use it, if I had known.

- This guide is not super in-depth and so it should be concidered more a collectible than a guide ...
First off, it is way too compressed to cover the four games (I, II, Ocarina & Majora) as deep as I believe it should have. In my opinion this guide should be twice as thick as it is (especially concidering it's selling price). It honestly seems like a bit of a rush job. There are a number of small errors throughout the guide and quite a few omissions of pertinent info. There should have been a competent editor on hand to put in a good final inspection before release.
The overworld maps are less than stellar and Zelda artwork/illustrations are minimal. This guide gives you the basic meat and potatoes (for the most part) and leaves everything else to speculation and exploration on your own.
If you are looking for a highly indepth guidebook this is not it ... I suppose some people like info kept to a minimum, but I would have preferred a book worthy of being concidered "collectible". I honestly believe the creators of this guide had zero passion for the project, or were put in a stranglehold by the upper-crust, because this guide could have been so much richer in content ... you'd think with the fact these games have played such a large part in the success of Nintendo that they would have at least invested a little more in it.
3 stars because it does help and also because I'm feeling generous today ;)

- This book has opened a whole new world to me. I have designed numerous maps (specifically for the Painkeep mod.) and play them on the LAN at my office every day at lunch. My targets, I mean co-workers :), love to make suggestions about the placement of items, lighting, etc. and I can make them a reality easily, tweaking the maps we play till they rock! If you would like to play a couple of my best maps E-mail me. You'll love this book, I couldn't put it down for almost two weeks straight!
- If you loved quake and love the evil feel of the game, make you own feel of the game!! This helps you make you own world! This book is a must buy after you beat Quake and want more then just deathmatchs!

- There are many areas in each of the Spyro worlds that I feel there is no way you would be able to find them without this book. One move involves "continuos" charging onto five platforms to reach an area that you cannot see at all. If you enjoy playing a game to 100%, you've GOT to get this.
- Spyro the Dragon, my favorite video game, wouldn't be comleted 100% now if I hadn't gotten this hint guide. It offers amazing detail, wonderful hints, and information on the enemies you will have to defeat.
- This is a nice book. I say nice because it does tell you what to do but not how to do it! There are some parts where I was completely stumped, so I bought the book. It still didn't help me so I am going to buy the other one and see how it is.
- Even though I needed this book,I think it is not all that needed if you arrange the levels in a good way.You should try the game,as hard as you can to complete it,before you get this book.
- I would have never completed the game 100% without this guide. It helped so much! It takes you step by step through the entire game telling you what to do and dropping hints about how to do it. The pictures and details are great and the information is accurate. One part I had been stuck on forever, the part in Tree Tops where it seems nearly impossible to get to that last platform and rescue that dragon, but the guide told me exactly how to do it! I also struggled with the Flights, but it told me the strategies to use and I completed the whole game! So, if you are struggling with this game then I suggest you get this guide. It helps so much.
