1. This book follows a great wealth of wow books yet this one doesnt really help you much with the expansion, save your money.



2. I only paid about one quarter of the price all the stores were asking for this item. It was shiped quickly, and was shrinkwrapped and brand new. Couldn't ask for a better deal.



3. I got this guide because I was having difficulty figuring out where certain places were and where the Horde villages were. This guide was definitely helpful there. Unfortunately, it didn't really give too much more information than that. At least nothing that you couldn't get on some of the websites there are. It does not elaborate on any quest information or give you any intel on the dungeons. I would recommend this to anyone looking for information on who is in what village and what sort of besties are where. But other than that, just go to one of the many websites that are out there for WoW.



4. i got for uh, bathroom reading, but this guide doesn't really tell you much. 1/2 the guide is like... weapon / armor listings, which are way outdated & kinda pointless.



5. Again Bardy Games has brought us another helpful guide. As the people of Blizzard have again constructed another series of complex worlds to explore it is great to have a guide.
   So many places, quests and NPC's it is nice to have the guide to turn to.

1. Very detailed strategy guide. The artwork is awesome and the level of explanation from the writers is incredible. A must have for any Halo fan.



2. There are some good tips and advice in the pages of this guide for legendary which I beat, but I was disappointed that they did not show the location of the skulls. It is fun to read through the guide to find some interesting advice. Its worth buying for this price. Enjoy



3. This is very helpful for game play.I would greatly encourage the xbox live gamer to get it because it tells the respawn times for the weapons on each multiplayer map.



4. I am not a "gamer" This was a purchase for my grandson at christmas. I am able to relate to his delight. Further, I feel that as intense as this game is the guide book was a good thing to include with the X-box and Halo game.Jamie says it is "way cool" with real great tips and tricks. I bet that you did not think that it was possible to get a big old bear hug from a 13 year old boy in front of his friends.

1. Really helps with hidden treasures etc. Sometimes I wish it was a little clearer but all in all a great help.



2. Very complete guide, easy to follow and very usefull maps. it may need a little more follow up with some of the items of the game, since there is an achievement for this task. Nevertheless they are listed and it`s easy to know how to get them.



3. This guide is actually very good, it can really get you to acomplish 100% achivements. Recomended.



4. My favorites games are Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, VII, Xenogears and Vagrant Story. If you share my taste maybe enjoy this one. Good story and the main character (Kaim) it's great.

1. Order this if it's cheaper than getting the strategy guide and the dungeon companion separately. The Atlas is a waste, but the other two books will help out. The strategy guide is an excellent bathroom read. The dungeon companion is great when you need to head straight for the bosses in any of the instances.



2. I doubt it's possible for a new player to be competitive without these guides or their web-based equivalent. Since you're reading this on Amazon, it seems likely that you have a computer but want a book. These will do the job. Statistics, strategy, tactics, and a complete inventory of everything that can be inventoried: it's all here. Without reading these guides I would have been clueless about the subtle balance of abilities and equipment that make up a good fighter or a good team. The section on etiquette is an especially nice touch: Warcraft is not just for keyboard bullies.
   
   The writing style is friendly but businesslike and the authors never lose sight of the ultimate goal: to have fun. One star off for cheesy proofreading and type so small (especially the glossary) that it almost requires a magnifying glass to read.
   
   For all but the most casual player, this is a no-brainer. Buy it or get hammered by the guys that did.



3. This is a great collection for someone brand new to the game. The Atlas is exactly that, it is a map book... the detailed maps of the various towns were very helpful for finding specific characters that you need to interact with,but there really are no specifics on the world maps. The Master Strategy Guide is extremely general, it gives a general overview of how to approach the game, but NO specifics. The book has a nice breakdown of what classes work best so that you can pick one that matches your style. What is MOST helpful (to me) is a list of almost all of the quests available, organized by location. There are hundreds of quests available in the game, it is really nice to be able to reference them, and see what the rewards are (for people with short memories, checking them off as you go). The last book is the BEST in my opinion, the Dungeon Companion is an awesome guide for instances (dungeons). There are decent maps, and a good breakdown of what type of enemies you'll encounter, and how to handle them. The smartest part of the Dungeon Companion is that it lists each quest that is related to the Dungeon. This is great for new players otherwise you'll get a quest, go through the entire instance, then find out that there is another quest you need to complete so you have to go through the whole dungeon again. Instead, using the Dungeon Companion, you figure out which quests you need, sign up for them all ahead of time, and you are ready to go!
   Experienced players will get almost no use out of the atlas and Master Guide, and very little use out of the Dungeon Companion, and yes, most of the information found in these books is available online, but for someone BRAND new to WoW like myself, i found these books to be invaluable, and getting all three for a discounted price was an awesome deal.
   Please note, this set was created before the Burning Crusades expansion, so there are NO details on the stuff that was added for that. If you are going to jump into WoW headfirst like i did... get this set, get the Burning Crusades expansion, and get the Burning Crusades Strategy guide. By the time you get wow,BC,the strategy pack, and the BC Strategy guide, you will be into it for over $100, but you will have a very strong understanding of the game, and you will avoid a lot of 'newb' errors.



4. This has been a great help in learning the game. The atlas alone has helped me check that I've covered all of a new area, and taken advantage of available quests. Organizes information better than the websites do.

1. Great gameplay and scene just a hint when playing the 4th kill you will have to find the view points just a hint



2. This guide will get you through the whole story, but there are quite a few mistakes that will definitely hinder you if you're trying to get every little thing the game offers. One example is the locations of the Templars on the Kingdom map vs the given screenshot examples. The screenshots are listed 1-30, but on the map, the numbers 31 and 32 appear while 23 and 24 don't exist. With this mistake in place it causes a major mismatch with the numbers to the screenshots. It took me a long time to figure out what was happening and even longer to correct the mistakes. Guides are supposed to help you on your missions and quests and this one didn't do a very good job. Instead of having fun, I became quite frustrated only because the guide was not carefully put together.
   
   And for those who did buy this guide and happen to read this, one other notable mistake on the Kingdom Map for the location of King Richard's Flag, is that there are two number 30s and no number 67. The number 30 on the top right of the map is supposed to be number 67.



3. I actually bought this guide as a quick add-on purchase to bulk up my order for free shipping! I've never bought game guides before and generally considered them to be a bit of a cop-out. However, I realized that I just wasn't getting enough time to play Assassin's Creed on a regular enough basis and I thought that a guide might help me to "pick up" the game easier after some time away from it.
   
   What I didn't realize was that the Guide would actually improve my enjoyment of the game entirely!
   
   The guide is jam-packed with hints and tips of how to get around some tricky parts of the game, yet doesn't give away too much that it becomes completely unchallenging. The guide helps open up parts of the games and the maps that might otherwise be un-explored. So not only am I enjoying the game more, I'm playing the game on a much deeper level.
   
   SO - about the guide itself. Its quite well layed out, so information is relatively easy to find. However, no index makes searching a little tougher than it needs to be. Thankfully its not too thick, so you can navigate the pages relatively easily. There have been some complaints about the maps not being accurate. There is an update on the website with pdfs of the maps if you need them. But I'm guessing that they updated the print version, because I've yet to see any issues with the maps so far (I'm about half way through the game now). Outside of the maps, the guide is full of information about each district and provides a very informative and fun way to interact with this fantastic game on a deeper level than the casual player.
   
   I recommend it!



4. This game is easily the best of it's genre. That being said, there aren't many games like this, with free roaming, duty free game play tied so nicely to a storyline complete with interrogations, pickpocketing, and of course, assassination

1. this book is very useful for beating the initial game, and it provides sufficient info on how to catch the legendary pokemon. overall, it is a very good guide for beginners, and veteran pokemon gamers.

4. Let me just say that I loved Prima's Ruby and Sapphire guide but this guide is such a let down I can't believe I wasted my money on it. Most if not all of the maps are from Ruby and Sapphire (I compared). It doesn't give you much information either. Everything is crammed together and the things that you have to go back and do later blend into everything else so you forget to go do something after you've completed a certain task. This guide didn't help me at all. The extra information you buy guides for just wasn't there and I honestly could have just used my Ruby and Sapphire guide and it would have helped me MORE. Buy at your own risk or if you're not that interested in the game and don't care about quality.



5. This book is nearly useless. Instead of providing a walkthrough, where one typically can follow the steps and progress through the game, the editor chose to sort by location. This means that when you look up Meteor Falls you see something you may be able to do now as well as what you'll need to do in the same location later in the game. To make matters worse there is no distinction made between the two events so it's difficult to know if the later events are able to be done now, or if it's something you'll have to come back for.
   
   The only real reason to pick this up is for the Pokédmon listing that corresponds to this specific game, in other games Pokémon acquire abilities at different levels

However the book itself was poorly written, and if you're buying this I STRONGLY recommend reading the mini games section first as the only way to see the entire ending of the game is if you complete some of these things, a fact which is not mentioned until well AFTER you're 1/4 of the way through the book itself. I was very satisfied with the purchase, but as most of you know FF isn't a short wham-bam game and it was horribly disappointing that after getting 15-16 hours in we realized we'd be watching the end of the game on youtube anyways =p Also, there were still parts that were explained in such uncertain terms we ended up using the internet to find the answers anyways. A die hard FF fan....I was extremely disappointed in Dan Birlew's product this time.

1. My daughter love the whole Pokemon genre, and especially enjoys the GameBoy Pokemon games. She has poured through this book many times already and just loved it. I highly recommend it.



2. Man, this is an awesome guide. I just got it in November and I already am at the Victory Road, about to enter the Pokemon League! Some reviews says it tells lies, and skips around the world of Hoenn; it doesn't! Some people even say that it skips Trainer imformation; but that's because Trainer's Pokemon are random. And for the "skipping around" part, just use the Quick Walkthrough to be guided and then head to the events of Hoenn in "Maps of Hoenn"! Some reviewers say that the guide calls Rock types Earth types, but that's usual. The guide even contains a Pokedex section, a List of Moves and a list of items! Here are the good and bad details about the guide (although it isn't that bad.)
   
   - The Good,
   - Nice walkthrough that connects to the Quick Walkthrough.
   - Thorough Pokedex, containing every Pokemon.
   - Nice charts for moves, and items.
   - Strategies for all Sub Quests and Pokemon Contests.
   - Good strategies for gym leaders, rivals and proteges, a.k.a. Wally.
   - Nice maps showing every building.
   - Locations of all Pokemon
   - The Bad,
   - Doesn't include Secret Bases.
   - On the battle with Archie in the Seafloor Cavern, he doesn't have a Golbat, he has a Crobat.
   
   - And the Ugly(I'm just kidding!)
   
   Anyway, buy this guide; it's well worth it!

5. I regret bying this peice. I bought it right when fire red and leaf green first came out. It does not halve the complete walkthrough. It cuts out on the islands, only showing you three of the seven islands. I think it might not even tell you there are seven Islands.Nor does it mention anything about getting ho-hoh, lugia, or deoxys. if you get stuck there, you'd be screwed. you think they put in a few more pages to give you all of the game. by time i got to the end and did not have four islands, i was so mad. And their is a different book which did include them, from a different company. Spend your money on a better product. If you like the pokedex, than buy just a poke dex book.

I'm not much of a gamer but my friends encouraged me to get this for my kids for their XBOX and told me I'd better get it for the PC because I'd never get a chance to play it on the XBOX...I'm glad they did...this is an amazing game...the storyline and graphics are tremendous! I highly recommend it.



2. Very helpful product, especially for a new player like me. In fact, I would say it is essential. The strategies and intel information are as good or better than those available online, yet are handy in nice, glossy paper content whenever you need the information. Screenshots are plentiful.
   
   My major criticism is that the book focuses on online multiplayer action, so not as helpful to a single player like I am.
   
   I would like to see more details on the game basics, such as on weapons (caliber, magazine capacity, stopping power, range, etc.), and strategies for why you would choose one weapon vs. another (there is some of this, but I would like more).
   
   That said, it is very highly recommended for every player, and a must have at around $15, or less.



3. I asked a buddy whether he liked Oblivion more that Final Fantasy VII. He was dumbfounded and was about to suggest something, and then I cut in.
   
   "It's like asking which I like better, Call of Duty 4 or Tetris. I can do that. I like Call of Duty 4 better."

1. This product did not impress me at all. It was basically an extended game manual. Not to mention that the game is in a constant state of change.



2. I guess my main issue is with the way the book presents material. It doesn't give any hard numbers for feats or skills. On any given feat or skill it'll say something like "give small chance" or "gives small increase". What I want to know is, is it worth my time to learn that skill or feat. How much of a chance does it give? That's what I need to know. Half the book is on character creation and all the info they give is fuzzy. Not really useful at all.
   
   
   Also the maps are useless. They are there but they have no info on them. No markers on where people or places can be found. Aside from looking nice they have no function. You get better info from the in game mini-map.
   
   
   Professions and crafting are there but once again they're missing important info. If you want to make potion X this book will tell you what ingredients you need to make it. That's good. But the book doesn't tell you what potion X is or what it even does.
   
   
   All in all this book is good for some quest info. I had some trouble locating a few things in dungeons that had no mini-map. Sure, it had a quest marker but with no map I had no idea how to get there. So the book did help with those which is why it gets 2 stars instead of one. But that info can be found online for free.
   
   
   Don't bother with this book. We didn't even get an in game free item for it.



3. There's a lot of unknowns in Age of Conan: from the peculiar stat system to the actual numerical effects of certain buffs and skills. I purchased this guide hoping it would expand on the pitiful game manual -- suffice to say, it doesn't.
   
   Everything in the guide can be read from the game tooltips, and there's no in-depth explanations at all. Class descriptions are sanitised and mostly the same ("an excellent solo class, but don't forget to buff up before a fight blah blah"). The back of the guide even devotes pages to "maps" of hyboria that are simply screenshots of the game... just press the "m" key.
   
   A total waste of money, especially considering the massive patch changes that Funcom continues to implement.



4. This was sort of helpful in picking what class to play, but didn't really give in depth guides to anything.



5. This guide is incomplete, its a rush rush job with very little help full detail. Maps are blank with no important details.
