- This book was great because it had a lot of codes and cool plays. It also has lots of strategy for all of the plays. This is a must have for anyone with Blitz 2000!!

1 comments about Age of Sail ll: Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
- I have no problems with well-written guides to computer games. At best, they yield insight; at worst, they save a little time. The Age of Sail II strategy guide ends up doing neither but is a good history book.
The manual to the game is terrible. Usually, guides flesh out the mechanics of game play. Not so here. No mention is made of how things are done in the game. Instead the book is made up of a glossary, comments on naval life, tactics and ships in the late 18th and early nineteenth centuries and discussions of historical scenarios. The glossary is padded. Knowing what a "club tack" may be useful for the game (the play isn't explained) but most people know what a pistol is. The historical commentary is good for beginners but how many beginners will buy this game without a friend who already knows these basics urging on the purchase? What would have been nice is adding commentary on the hypothetical campaigns. To wit, what must be done to acheive different levels of victory. Not a word on campaigns is mentioned, Like the game, this book was rushed out the door. The game can be patched; the book can't.

3 comments about The Sims Online (Prima's Official Strategy Guide).
- When I bought the game, I found the book that came with the charter edition somewhat skimpy on details of how to really play the game. I had played the beta version and had become familiar with a small portion of how things worked. But, I still lacked information on the finer details of the game. I really needed a reference book I could go back and look at. In fact, I know have this book sitting beside my computer when I play the game. I have found it very helpful in all aspects. Toss the book that comes with the game. If you are a player of other Sims games, you'll find that the Sims Online is a completely different game than what you're used to. And, with differences, you'll need a book that steps you through various parts of the game. This is the book that you need when you play The Sims Online. I very much reccomend this book.
- The book didn't help one bit. Its basically a better written retelling of whats available on the official Sims Online Website and the booklet you get with the game.
You won't learn anything unique or special to enhance your game experience.
- I'm a big Sims fan and have several Sims guide books but this is one that is pretty much pointless. Unlike the regular (offline) version of the game (The Sims and the expansion packs like Unleashed), this online game is updated DAILY. Rules change regularly and so does game play. Because of this, there is no way for the book to ever get even close to being up-to-date. But it isn't needed... When you set up the game, you are given game play instructions at start up and you are given "tips" (game play information) throughout the game, each time you encounter a new situation. You are also given update information each time you sign in. There is also a website to go to if you want to read about the updates - you can even read these while in the game (just click on the help "?" button). In addition to that, you can receive e-mails telling you about the latest and greatest changes.
I'll give you an idea of just how out-of-date the book is going to be. I've been playing the game for only 3 months and didn't take notice of the version number right away (not until it was asked of me when making a game inquiry) but I know what the version number was at that point. Today the game is 120 version numbers ahead of what it was that day - no, that was not a typo. There have been over a hundred updates and changes to the game in the last 3 months alone so there's no way for the book to be accurate or up-to-date.

5 comments about Tekken 3: Prima's Official Strategy Guide (with Poster).
- After I read this book, it left a lot to my mind. There was SOME strategy, but not very much per character. Ben Cureton's, Versus Books', and IGN's guide were much better done, and they were all written by Tekken experts (especially Cureton, who is a three-time national Tekken champ). This book could have been written by my ten-year old brother. Avoid this and buy either BradyGame's book or (better yet) Versus Book's.
- Boy, was I disappointed. This "strategy guide" had NO strategy. Heck, it didn't even have a good layout for the moves!! I bought this book for the characters exclusive to the PlayStation version, hoping for a COMPLETE moves list for them, but of course, I was wrong. It didn't even have combos, and what they passed off as combos were actually the 10-strings that are already in the game! The strategy disgraces the genius of Tekken! I could probably beat Simon Hill because the Versus Books strategy guide was actually a strategy guide! And that strategy guide was actually made by national Tekken champs!
Don't get this strategy guide. The best parts of the book are ones you can glance through when you're sitting down reading it in the newstand. The artwork (4 measly pieces that you can download) and the history of Namco are the only things going for it.
- The guide for tekken 3 could have been better. They spent lots of time with the photos, but some of the moves were either wrong or incomplete(paul's tackle to choke move). King's links could have been explained better, and there is lack of actual combos for all the characters. I enjoyed brady's guide better.
- This game I give a rating out of ten, 20. I've had it since 1999 and its now past half way through 2001. If you like martial art style games like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, this puts them to shame. The first time I played Tekken, I was hooked, and I had a ps by the time Tekken2 was released, I couldnt help my self, and when Tekken3 came out, I was almost sick of the tekken saga, until I baught it, and trust me, it was well and truly worth the wait. The mixture of global martial art styles was a delight. From Brazilian Capoeira to Japanese Manji and Chinese styles of all kinds. Not only were these styles accurately named and studied, but Namco still added more, thousands, literaly thousands of unmentioned and unlisted moves to give the game far more life. Every character you unlock also unlocks hours more. The modes available make the game interesting, and again, more life is added per mode you unlock. The realistic movement and 3d envirenment lift the game into a higher light, where as in MK4 it is still 3d, but there is no sidesteps, various combos, throws and power moves as opposed to Tekken3. Survival mode means you can never stop improving and the endings are humourus, exiting and thought provoking.
To put it short, Tekken3 is brilliant, the only flaw is that there arent enough stages in Force mode. 200% rating from me

The usual from Prima, May 31, 1999 Reviewer: A reader from Los Angeles, California This man has never read the book. This book has EVERY move availble to the characters. Some characters span several pages more than others (Lei Wulong). It tells strategies on how to beat EVERY other character in the game. This guy must not of bothered to open the book.
