1. I liked the book because it gave me details and good screen shots of the game. It had told step by step on what to do and gave detailed instructions on what to do next. It even had Dukematch strategies for the special DM levels and how to kill your opponents. What I didn't like was that some of the screen shots weren't good. When they showed the weapons, they showed only how it looks when you hold it except on the grenade launcher they showed how it looks before you grab it. This problem is what I call the book "containinguneven screen shots."



2. If you haven't been playing Duke Nukem 64 for a while, you need this guide. If you have been playing Duke Nukem 64 for a long time, you still need this guide! It has every single secret (there's alot of 'em) and the locations of each and every babe! I bet you haven't found every little secret in the game, but now you can. Buy this, it's worth it.

1. There certainly are a lot of codes in this book - but I couldn't find any new codes that I had not already seen on the internet. The book is cheap enough - but I wouldn't buy another code book again - not a single secret I could see!

1. The TEXT in this book is pretty good but the pictures provide little/no information. They are too dark, the captions do not clarify what they are attempting to display and the black and white format make it near impossible to see anything to begin with! Other than that, the text supplies sound strategies and it has proven to be helpful.

1. The Star Trek Customizable Card Game has added several expansion sets since this Player's Guide was published in 1995. These have had enough effect on the game that the advice in the book is unlikely to be helpful, even to a beginner. The free card offer that came with this book has expired. Unfortunately, at present no other books offer up-to-date advice for playing this game (generally known as "ST:CCG"). The Web is the best source of current information.

1. The authors good intentions fell short in helping one better understand the game strategy and ability to figure out problems encountered in the various missions. Black and white illustrations were hard to decipher and help topics were too brief, often only one sentence, to be of much aid. More text content and color photographs would have made for a much nice guide. Although one will find some help topics of interest, the player will still have to mostly depend upon their own trial and error mistakes to learn how to advance in this game.



2. I found this stratedgy guide to be extremely helpful. I have been playing this game for a while but until I read the guide I really could not score as high as I do now. Many pointers as to how to kill the many "Big Bugs" at the end of each level. I liked it and disagree with the writer from Texas. All of the stratedgy guides I have for all other games (which cost much, much more are in black and white as well. I'm happy! Thanks Knights.

1. I am an avid Sims player.. to understate it. So I know many of the tricks to maximize playing, but the Livin' Large Strategy book gives a lot of really cool secrets to have fun with. All 3 of the other books just give you basic info that's readily available in the game (like an object's price and description) but Livin' Large gves you such details as what each color potion from the Home Chemistry Lab will do and how to solve the riddles from the Madame Blahbatfry's crystal ball. It also tells you how to cure your Sim's sickness. This is a definite must-have for Sims lovers.. but don't bother buying the other ones.



2. This expansion pack was ok but didn't contain as much to do as the others. It also didn't add any impotant socail interactions exept for the "love Bed"
   it was god if you wanted items but not much else.



3. A lot of the cheat codes in this book can be found on the internet, but it also has valuable information that cannot. Some of my fav features are: The career charts, Sim zodiac signs matchmaking, objects in relation to room score, and sim behaviors. This is great info to take your simming to the next level!



4. Okay...the sims rox...but sum times yuh need a little help. so
   this is the book for you!!! it lets yuh know exactly how to play the game. it gives yuh helpful tips. there are cheats included also!
   i got this book and sat and was glued reading it! and, hay... im 13...who reads for hours when your that age??? but i sure diD!!!
   so just get this book!!! and there are other books for the other expansion packs!!! the sims rox and so does this book!!! BUY iT!!!

5. This is a greeeeeeeat book if you're really, really, really, stuck in the Sims. Otherwise, it's just a good add-on to the rest of your Sims stuff. I mean, I all ready knew all the cheats and stuff, but it was really fun reading all about things that I didn't know about the "Grim Reaper", the guinea pig disease, and other neat stuff. No color pix though. That's one disadvantage. Hey, at least their clear, not all blury like the Internet ones. This is the best book to get for your first collection item. It covers both "The Sims" and "Livin' Large". Big difference than getting the first one first. If you love all those cheat and game books, this is totally for you! Enjoy the book about the best game in years!
